Rex had been walking towards the source of the explosion, as if he instinctively knew where it was going to come from. For once he seemed at peace with his decision as he watched the huge wave of power speed towards him. This was the point of no return, even if he changed his mind, the finality of the decision hung strong in his mind as he calmly watched. As his skin and flesh seemed to tear away and vaporize, Rex turned slightly and caught Ferras eye. Though he didn't have the chance to speak anything during his destruction, he gave a small smile that said a lot. Don't worry about me, this is the only way I will get my answers, this is what I want. Thanks for everything, peace out


He raised his hand to wave, but his entire body exploded before he could complete the gesture.
