“well I like to think I’m the slyest fox ever, but then again that’s just my opinion” he spoke with a mischievous grin. When he heard melchio speak about a second date he was feeling ecstatic. Looks like he making a good impression after all he thought. He loved how easily they got along, melchio was such a happy, positive person. That was something that would instantly attract a trickster fox, plus it seems that from what malchio’s father has told him, they had a lot more income then one would think. he had a big smile when melchio laughed at his comments, and then grew a smirk when he told him to loosen up. he wants me to loosen up so be it, I just hope he is ready. That was when he asked the question about boxer size with a mischievous look. He turned red for a minute both from the question and from how cute melchio looked with mischievous all over his face. he regained his composure and was ready to turn the tide in his favor, after all no one can out do him when it comes to getting under people’s skin.

“well the size boxers I wear are median in size, the style I tend to go for is form fitting and tight. Then again I could also be lying, so I guess the only way for you to actually know is to check for yourself” he said with smirk and a wink. The food came and he thank the waiter and gave him a folded note card to give to the owner of the restaurant. He looks back at melchio “Now tell me sleeping beauty, out of all the question in the world, why is it that the thing that you were most curious about me was what I wear when I have no clothes on. Don’t tell you only interested in my body and my looks, because I’m much more then that but my body is your if u desire.” he gave a very loud laugh and then raised his eyebrow and leaned in toward melchio waiting for his answer. The more he spends time with this guy the more he likes him, it very strange for him to be charmed so easily but this guy just has something about him

ikari

ikari observed her very closely and realize that anger was just one of the ways she dealt with flattery. He also could tell from the way her skin changed color that he was in fact getting to her so he smiles bright showing he prefect teeth. He listens to her yell out him with a small smile of his face and said “I’m so sorry Miss, I didn’t mean to offend. I was commenting on how I wish I could call someone as beautiful as you mine. You’re like a wild flower something you want to take but also didn’t want to disturb because of how beautiful it makes the surroundings.” When she was looking at his rose he could tell that she felt something was off, that put him a little on edge.

She then asks if she knew him and that put him in defensive mode. He is a criminal and wanted murder in most places in the world, having someone recognize him wasn’t a good thing. He then realized anyone that would know him is either dead or would be too scared to approach him so he eased up and smile. “I don’t think we ever meet. I would remember such a lovely, and beautiful girl.” He then got close to her and look her in the eyes. “I mean how could I not remember such a gorgeous face.” he then started to think why this girl would think she knew him, maybe she knows his brother he thought, he backed up and figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask. “You might be confusing me with someone else. From what I heard I might have a brother in this city, by chance do u know him?”

Nyr found herself giggling a bit at how dumbfounded he seemed before she smoothed down the skirt a little bit. She had plenty more to try on, of course, but she figured she'd spare him the embarrassment.
"I've found what I want, we can go." She smiled and handed him his trench coat before gathering up the rest of the clothes she'd picked out. She'd tossed the torn rags of her former clothing in the trash can, but not before she made sure she had her necklace and her pouch. When everything was back in it's rightful place, she headed over to the check out. All in all, she had found five new shirts, three new skirts, and even a pair of sneakers she thought were cute. She still needed to find some undergarments eventually, but she didn't think that that whole conversation would go over so well with her newly found companion. Once she was in line, she turned to face him.

"Thank you, by the way. I know you didn't have to show me any kindness, and I know you probably would have preferred to kill me before you took me shopping, but you didn't. What you did for Aquios, and what you did for me...maybe there's hope for you after all." She gives him a little smile and giggles a bit before setting her stuff on the counter and ripping the tags off the clothes she was wearing to hand them to the lady. All in all, the total came to about $185, and Nyr looked at Falcon expectantly.

She wasn't about to admit it, but she almost preferred Falcon's company to anyone elses right now. There was something about him that drew her attention to him and that's where it mostly stayed. The main she had, she supposed, was why he was being so kind to her. She wasn't about to ask that question, but she figured it'd kind of remain there. After a few moments, she slipped her free hand into Falcon's, not looking up at him as she did so. The tips of her ears and her cheeks were turning a light shade of pink, after all.

Falin watched the two in silence as Heidt asked if they had any plans or knew of any jobs he could take. It seemed guilds were a thing here. At least that meant she wasn't completely clueless about this world. Right? Probably not, but it was a hope. Her eyes caught a glimpse of the show Heidt had changed the channel to and the Bosmer soon found herself distracted. The animals the documentary was focused on didn't exist back home, though she wondered if she could still call on a spectral version of them. After all it wasn't like hawks big enough to carry her really existed either.

Hearing Malorn say her name snapped her out of her slight daze. "Hm, what?" She looked over at the demon. "It's not as though I know much about this place... I'll admit spending the day rifling through old books probably won't do that much good anyway."

Melchio

"T-tight...?" He whispered, his own face turning red as a tomato, as he slowly began to undress the Kitsune in his mind. "Mmph!" He covered his own mouth, and ducked under the table real quick, trying to both cover his own nearly uncontrollable giggles and hide the fact he was pretty sure his face looked like a red dwarf star. He could feel himself come close to bursting out in laughter when he said the only way for him to really know was by checking himself- something that he sure he couldn't do without passing out due to all the blood rushing to his head just by thinking about it.

"W-why I asked...? Well, isn't it obvious?" He brought his head back from under the table, his face still slightly aflush with a ripe pink colour about it. "I like you, Vix! It's weird, because... well... where I'm from you never hear of two guys likin' each other, but whenever I see you, I feel like I have to know more!" His eyes glittered like a pair of polished jade stones- a bright, greyish-green- like he was completely engrossed with trying to pick apart Vix. "You're an enigma, and I've always been a fan of the unknowns! What's more unknown than the nether-regions!" And I was trying to keep my crown as the prince of flirting, but it's pretty obvious that you've stolen it from me. - He kept this thought to himself, however, not wanting this date to turn into a flirt-competition: he might just explode from the thought of all things they'd say!

"And of course I'm not only interested in your looks- though they're very impressive-" He nodded a thank you to the waiter, before returning his gaze to Vix. "-you're so kind... in a world so full of people who only want to shove others aside to help themselves and further themselves, I find you! You, who helped me trust people again! Plus, you're funny in this world that's always plagued by the people who aren't interested in having a good time- kinda like that fallen angel fellow." However, this is where he was unable to contain his own excitement, and he leaned over the table eyes glittering as he blurted out the next line. "On top of that, you're super confident! You don't hesitate at all to say what's on your mind, and even if it hurts someone at first, you still say the right thing, almost without thinking about it!" He stayed there, close to the kitsune for a good minute, before realizing he was causing a scene and sitting back in his seat, somewhat reluctantly. He chuckled, slightly embarrassed.

"A-anyways, yeah. That's what I think, I suppose. L-lets eat, Vix." He gave him a weak smile, before he started on his salmon, eagerly cutting into it with his knife.

Mykky

Mykky could feel her face firing up as he got close to her. Waaay too close for comfort, plus he was flattering her? He was just asking to get smacked. But then, thankfully, the nine-tailed nuisance backed off, giving her some much needed breathing space. She thought about what he said for a moment, before her dread became clear on her face.

"Oh gooods!" She groaned, clasping her face in her palm. She wasn't afraid of him, that much was clear. It was more as if she was annoyed. "Damnit- you're that nine-tailed nuisance's brother, aren't you? You're Vix's brother, huh?" She glared at him, already beginning to dislike him. The way he looked at her, the way he acted, everything! It all made sense! They must've been raised together to be such nuisances, huh? They had to! The flirting, the cocky attitudes, they were too similar.

"Ugh... please tell me you two aren't related! One fox brother was enough, but two...?" She couldn't even look at him, her face hidden in her hand, though a tad bit of her lavender blush could still be seen peeking out from under her hand.

Falcon

Falcon had just about hung himself mentally. Agh, what was that display?! What was he thinking- as if he weren't already a creep, he just ogled Nyr, and they'd just met! He must've looked like one hell of a tool, his jaw dropping like there was a cement weight in it, and his eyes bulging out of his sockets like balloons stuck in a pipe. Gods above, what was wrong with him today...? He was an abomination! Abominations don't act like lovesick children! They eat the lovesick children damnit!

"...Good. Thank you." He muttered, tossing the trench coat over his shoulder, instead of slipping into it. He figured doing that would be a terrible idea, given the fact he was being watched. Perhaps the security simply thought him to be another Humasilisk and not Falcon. If he slid this over his shoulders and took up the regular look... no doubt he'd be recognized. Perhaps his "inconspicuous" outfit wasn't so inconspicuous after all...

"You... have hope for me?" He muttered, glancing down at her with surprised eyes. Hope. That wasn't a feeling he'd had for some time now- all he'd felt for years now was despair or this indescribable emptiness that made him the monster he was- he lacked anything close to empathy and humanity, and over the years the emptiness had only grown. And yet, now, it was being crowded out by another emotion. He wasn't sure what it was, it felt alien but also nostalgic, and it made him feel so... awkward around Nyr and yet familiar with her too. It surely wasn't hope- that feeling had dried away long ago- but something else. Something that hurt, yet also felt good at the same time.

"There you go miss. That's about two hu-hundred dollars." He'd stuttered in his speech as he felt a familiar hand slip into his own, causing his heart to nearly skip a beat, that indescribable feeling growing in his chest. Hidden under his v-neck, the black spot over his lung, where he'd had a hole punched in him began to glow. It was faint, and the spot was still mostly black, but if one looked closely- very, very closely- they could see the smallest, smallest hint of pink in the darkness, and it cast the darkness in a new light, lightening it just the tiniest bit. The woman could tell by his nervousness and the fact that his entire ear was red at this point what he was feeling, and it made her giggle a little, gladly accepting the money, and giving him perfect change and a wink that seemed to say "Good luck in your endeavors!~"

As he led Nyr outside the store, he simply stood there for a good minute, mind lost in... well... somewhere. Perhaps this is what the humans commonly referred to as "day-dreaming", but whatever it was, Falcon was only snapped out of it by his rumbling stomach. But... he couldn't eat anybody here. And not in front of Nyr- not after she had hope in him. So, he brought up the next best alternative.

"So, wanna grab a bite to eat? Something made by humans, not made of humans, I mean." He chuckled nervously at his terrible attempt at a joke. It felt weird to try and do that- it was his brother's thing, not his. Internally, he fell a little at the thought of Melchio, but externally he looked as he usually did- a bit nervous, but over all, very calm and apathetic.

Heidt

"So, miss, I gotta ask-" Heidt cast his always sly look at Falin his eyebrow cocked. "-you're really outta this world, huh? An alien? That's cool. Just gotta ask- anything I should know 'boutcha? 'bout your world so I don't, like, disgrace your bloodline and have a curse set on me for insulting your great-great-great Grandpa Oogachacka?" While his grin, cocky as always, made him look like an ass, this was something he- generally- did with everyone he got to know. It was always better to keep your betters on your good side, and keep those who're worthless under your boot.

"Well? Spit it out already! Who knows when our fearless leader Malorn'll decide what we're gonna do for today!"

@Halohbottech

Gods, and I thought the one mage you'd introduced me to was annoying. Dereth groaned in the back of her mind.

Shaking her head slightly at her husband's annoyed comment, her gaze had moved back to Heidt. Black and crimson eyes studying him closely. While he could potentially become annoying, she's had to put up with much worse over the years. "Well I'm not from this realm, I can guarantee that much." She gave a slight shrug to the man, "Just don't go trying to force me into eating some salad or fruit or something and we'll be fine." It's not like she'd have to worry about him causing trouble in Valenwood.

Falcon

"Hmm?" Falcon had heard Nyr's admittedly cute giggle and gave her an inquisitive look. He'd ask what she was laughing at, but as he was about to, she leapt into another explanation of her world's strangeness. He managed to keep a straight face throughout her entire explanation, her tale one he was quite familiar with. Women being treated like meat, and not ones to be eaten... that's what life was like before he was brought back, huh? He never though much of it as a child, and even after being revived, for some time, he was oblivious to why women were just as important as men.

But now? He couldn't respect them more. That's to say, while he harbors so little respect for humans, for what little respect he has to give, he gives the same to women as he does to men. They're just slabs of meat, but to him, they're equally important slabs of meat, and to think that their people, who were so focused on loving the Earth and those from it, could be so ignorant... he supposed that even different worlds had to have something wrong with them. However, he could help but blush as well at her jabs at him. He didn't necessarily feel bad, though. In fact... one could say he-

"Oh. I see. That's a reasonable hope for a husband."

You hear that? That's the sound of what human's call a heart breaking into itty-bitty pieces. Good thing you don't have one of those, right?! Hah!

Falcon scratched his chin with his tail, before coughing into his fist. "Well, we're here." He muttered, gesturing not-so-grandly to the immense building before them- a magnificent and extravagant building that stretched across a reasonably large swath of land- that was more commonly known by the rest of the civilians as the mall. He'd never been here himself, though he'd been in malls before. Generally it was to try (and usually fail) at purchasing some article of food or clothing or other necessity. Of course, now he wasn't here for himself. Taking out a wallet, he quickly counted the money in that single wallet. Roughly five hundred dollars. Of course, he did take this from an old man's dead body, so it wasn't as surprise he carried his cash with him.

"Alrighty then. C'mon Nyr. I don't go to these often- the reason's obvious enough- so let's get this over with." Taking her by the hand as to not lose her, he strolled in, opening the door with his tail, much to a nearby child's surprise. After making his way to the nearest directory, he let go of Nyr's hand, assuming she'd stay nearby. He hoped he could get away with hiding his blush under his hat, but the way his ear was glowing, it was almost like a beacon. He studied the directory for a minute or two, before nodding to himself.

"Right. So, Nyr, there's a women's clothing store down that way about a hundred paces to your right. We could stop by there, and pick you something... up?" He felt a large hand rest on his shoulder. Confused, he turned to face the man who'd done so, only to come face-to-face with one of the largest security guards he'd seen in his life. Well then. "Uh... good afternoon, officer. What can I do for you?" Not bothering to speak, he went on with his inspection, first by grabbing his tail (rather roughly) and looking it over, eyes drawn to what appeared to be dried blood on the razor sharp tip. Then, he used his baton to lift up Falcon's upper lip before he had time to protest so he could inspect. Finding what he wanted, he grunted a nod, and stood back.

"Sir, I'm going to have to give you a pat-down. New mall policy. I'm sure you understand. Turn around please." Falcon narrowed his eyes, but didn't bother trying to argue with him. He'd had plenty of these before. It wasn't as if they were unwarrented- Humasilisks were known killers and more-often-than-not carried weapons on them to get out of scuffles with magical foes. Setting his hands behind his head, and spreading his legs a little farther apart, he stood stock still as the cop ran his knuckles across the problem spots a person might usually hide a weapon, sticking in no spot for more than a second. When he was finished, he grunted, and stood back. "You check out. Have a nice day." With that, he hopped back onto his segway and rode off, leaving Falcon feeling a little less private.

"...That's why I wear the trench coat. So I don't have people like that doing what he just did."

Heidt

"Shame." Heidt grunted, reclining in the couch, his mischievous expression acquiring a quaint, bored tone to it. "And today just had to be the day I run all out of contracts! Any of you know a good way to make some cash? Preferably with having a good time in the job description?" He flicked an eye open, its normal bright blue colour highlighted with gold markings throughout that flashed every now-and-again. "...I sense a disturbance in the Foooorce, Malorn my padawan." With a grin, he sat up, slapping his hands on his thighs. While he couldn't see anything, as his eye might suggest, he could definitely feel a spike in the dark energies he was sensing before- like whatever he was sensing before was trying to make an example of something by using its power.

"Funky... The Force is no longer being disturbed, Malorn my padawan..." Chuckling to himself, the highlights faded, returning his eyes to their natural topaz blue. Relaxing, he leaned back into Malorn's couch. "Now that's what I call one hell of a trip! But, ah, whatever you guys decide to do, I'm sticking with you for it, kay? I'm hella bored, and I won't get anymore Guild issued or Edgewater issued contracts for another day or two and I need a way to entertain myself while I wait. Got it?"

Malorn Drakanos

Malorn sighed heavily as Heidt further made a spectacle of himself and even went so far as to include him in it. Why do I tolerate him again?.. He thought to himself shaking his head. Thinking over what he said and taking into account Falin not really wanting to go to the library he mostly drew blanks. Normally, he might decide to go to the Enclave or something. But Falin probably still needed to recover. Ignoring most of Heidts' personality he eventually spoke once Falin was done humoring him "We could go to the academy where the first attack happened, I'm not quite sure what Falin can do but it might offer some insight on the situation." He offered. It was either that or stocking up on food other than bacon that Falin could eat, Malorn figured the former was better than the latter, so much so he didn't even bother mentioning it.

"Oh god, Edgewater? That place blooows Malorn!" Heidt groaned, sulking into the couch like he was water soaking into grass. "They're so stingy and expensive! I was gonna be a teacher there 'cause I heard they payed decent cash but you wanna know what? They're sticklers man! They fuckin' said I was too much a hassle to be bothered with, and I had the fuckin' mouth of a sailor!" Leaping up, fake mad, he glared at Malorn. "Can you believe that shit? Ugh! The nerve of some people! I should've just blasted their dumb faces into the sun with Aurum and Argyrus, y'know?" His grin returned though, as he was finished with his little charade.

"But, eh, I suppose that's a decent spot to visit. It was the place of kidnappin' after all." He grinned, as he figured Malorn'd be somewhat interested in some... less than obviously known info. It wasn't in the news, so he figured nobody else noticed that a certain neko that'd been at the scene of the crime had been taken away. He hadn't seen the guy's face, but he could tell he was one spooky Sally with one hell of an aura. He'd done some diggin' on the little cat-boy, and figured out his name was Kazahiro. It might seem odd that he knew that the neko had been stolen away, but with marksman's eyes like his, very little failed to escape his sight.

"Some kid by the name of Kazahiro. I was sent to the school to kill a... certain teacher there... but was stopped by the whole attack spiel. Saw the whole thing go off. Pretty interestin' stuff, might I say!" Gaffing to himself, he flopped back on the couch, relaxing once again, and letting himself get comfortable.

I gotta sell these scales and find a place to stay, though sleeping in the streets wouldn't exactly kill me if I had to do it for another day." Melchio

She giggled at his joke before nodding. "As long as you're buying, mister. I don't got a penny to my name. Oh, by the way-" She smacked his arm, huffing a bit, "That's for letting me go out in public looking like a wild child." Her irritation quickly faded and she actually found herself resting her head on his upper arm, still holding onto his hand.

"Can we go find a cafe or a diner? Not really in the mood for...fast food. Or whatever it's called." She waved her free hand dismissively before starting to head to the exit.

Once she was outside, she was relieved to feel the heat of the sun on the exposed areas of her skin. Even though her skin was already heated, she welcomed the warmth. Her darker skin seemed to lighten a little under the sun's rays, and the light really brought out the highlights in her hair. She mussed her hand through her hair, tilting her head back a little bit to catch the rays.

"I've always loved being outside. It's calming, you know? The flowers and the beasts and insects...they all have such fascinating stories to tell. They're all a big network, connected by Mother Earth. All Her children live in perfect harmony with each other- if one aspect were to die, so too would everything else. So fragile, yet so strong. One thing breathes life into another and the cycle continues endlessly. My favorite stories are the ones that come from-" She cut herself off, going a bit pink. She was rambling again. She bit her lip, combing her hand through her hair again before smiling a bit apologetically.

"Sorry, didn't mean to ramble." She turned her attention back to the ground in front of her as they walked, feeling a tad bit embarrassed.

Dru walked into the office of the complex where a meek looking man was sitting behind the counter reading a newspaper. Dru walked up to him and cleared his throat causing the man to look up and survey the two of them for a minute before saying "two bedroom apartments are 300 a month and you just have insurance for it by the end of the week no killing or sacrifice in the room and no decaying in there either. Otherwise rent is due in the first and your contract will be under your door." The man tossed them keys and went back to reading his magazine.

Vix

he had a huge smile on his face both from hearing melchio talk and seeing his reactions to all of vix's comments. he began to eat his food enjoying the company he had. "listen melchio, I have to say you are an amazing person. you have the nicest looking eyes and have such a fun personality that I really can’t get enough of it. I’m glad that you can see all those qualities in me, most people just think I’m an annoying fox." he said with laugh. it been a very long time that someone actually like him for him and not because they need him to do a job for them. it was very interesting see how someone else perceived him and seeing it in such a positive way.

he looked at his date smiled "I'm not all good you know; everyone has their faults. I'm loud and cause dramatic scenes, I have a history of stealing things for people, I don’t full know or have control of my kitsune powers, I don’t have any family or that many friends, there a lot of faults I have Melchio." he didn’t want to bring the mood down but he needed to be really honest if he wants something more with Melchio. he gave a sad smile he knows he not a bad person but that doesn’t mean he didn’t have very bad qualities he had to deal with. "A fox doesn’t have a pack like a wolf, foxes are supposed to have a small yet close group that aid one another. so the fact is I never had that growing up, and from what I read that can cause serious issue in a fox. So I’m just letting you know this as a warning so you know if you still like me."

He felt bad bring down the mood like this and figure he need to do something in order to regain the romantic feeling. He stood up and went over to the host, he asks if it was possible to play some music. The host agree and then he walk back over to melchio offering his hand in order to begin a nice dance not caring if people were looking toward them. He never care if he cause a scene as long as he could make one person happy, the he could deal with the stares of everyone else.

Ikari had an angry look on his face when she mentioned his brother but then a wicked thought grew in his head. "yes in fact that is my terrible brother. that man is a criminal I’ve been hunting all my life." Ikari made his face as serious as possible but in his head he was laughing. his plan was simple he would turn everyone against vix. have everyone he meets and cared for, turn on him and then kill him. then when all of them have their backs turned he would kill all of them and burn the city to the ground. "he killed my family in cold blood." he look at mykky straight in the eyes with so much emotion and began shedding tears. " you look like a women of justice. please help me get revenge, and put a stop to his reign of terror." he them look down to the floor, hiding his wicked grin, thinking this girl is going to be the weapon he uses to torture and kill Vix.

But I've seen weirder, plus he's pretty freaking cool." She told Rex. "Watcha' need a mirror for? You look normal to me." She questioned curiously. Where I come from magic is what plagued my lands and the only magic we could muster because of our fear of it's consequences was basic healing magic." Tumiji glanced down at the two pendants, one in the shape of a cat and another in the shape of a wolf and frowned slightly. "Anyway it's still good to meet another nine tailed fox. Would it be too much trouble if I accompanied you?"
Ahri
"Ah, so you're the kind of fox that hasn't learned magic. Perhaps, I could teach you some tricks?" Ahri asked the young male fox. Mimi hops into Ahri's arms and falls asleep. "Mimi, didn't you have a nap earlier?" Ahri asks the white fox. "It's quite lonely sometimes, I would enjoy your presence."

Vix

he had a huge smile on his face both from hearing melchio talk and seeing his reactions to all of vix's comments. he began to eat his food enjoying the company he had.

He never care if he cause a scene as long as he could make one person happy, the he could deal with the stares of everyone else.

ikari

Falcon

"...Ow." He figured he might as well humor her for having to sit through his terrible joke and laughing at it. He was half-tempted to ask if she was or wasn't a tree hugger, thus making her a wild child, but figured he'd done enough by letting her go out looking terrible. "I don't see what you mean by wild child, though. You look fine no matter what. ...Wait." He took a second to analyze what he'd just said, and when he was finished, he pulled the hat down as far as it could go, so his eyes were hidden by the rim of the hat. What the fuck had he been thinking? Why would say something like that? Blanking out for a mere moment, the next thing he knew, he was outside, the late afternoon sun casting a warm, orange glow on the both of them.

He listened intently as Nyr went on to weave a short tale for him, and while she saw it as rambling, he saw it as intriguing. And, when she was finished, or, rather, when she cut herself off, he looked back up. He saw the world in shades of grey. However, the woman at his side saw it in hues of beauty- something he spent his entire life blind to. For the first time, Falcon saw something other than grey decorate the sky. A single hue- a shade of orange streaked across the sky, setting the sky ablaze, giving life to his lifeless world. He looked down and to his left at Nyr, a confused look on his face as he stared at her, his trench coat flapping in the soft breeze that'd picked up after leaving the mall- he'd still neglected to put it on, funnily enough.

"Tell me more. Please." He blinked, before gazing at the late afternoon sun, its grey light shining over him. "I want to know of these... stories that you have to tell. I want my history to more than blood, gore, and murder. Tell me more Nyr, please." He looked at her expectantly, eyes shining in the light. He then noticed how comfortable it was to have her own weight resting on his. She didn't weigh so much that it was like supporting a building, yet he knew she was there. It felt... complete, as odd as that was.

Melchio

"...So?" Melchio asked, cocking his head a little to the left, his fork hanging out of his mouth some. "Sure, you've done bad things, but hasn't everyone...? I know both me and my brother have... some things a bit worse than others..." He growled, slipping his fork out of his mouth, and setting it on the table. Foxes didn't have packs... he never knew that. Then again, where he lived, all he'd ever seen around his home were wolves: a fox was a rarity where he was from- far, far north and a whole continent away. It was then he knew- despite his happy exterior- his jokes, his jives, he general jovial nature, Vix had that same sadness in him that Melchio did. Or, rather, unbeknownst to Melchio, that Falcon held in his own heart.

"...Vix, listen. I'd like you, even if you were a monster. You've done so much for me- so much more than you understand. you've helped me out of a dark time, and an even darker state of mind! You make... you make my days brighter. Even when I first met you, I could tell something was different about you. I'd met plenty of nice guys, but all of them- all of them- have faded into oblivion in my mind. But you...?" He smiled somberly, holding Vix's hand in his own. "There's no way I could forget about you! The way you talk... the way you laugh... even the way you move, it's all... hypnotizing. In ways that, I don't have words for." He chuckled softly, looking into Vix's eyes with his own. "How couldn't I like you, Vix?"

The next thing he knew, soft classical music was being strung in the background, and Vix was offering his hand. Melchio was no fool- he knew what that hand was for. He shook his head, but even still, took Vix's in his own and stood. His face had a soft blush of pink to it- a mere dusting, but still enough to show his discomfort. "I should t-tell you now... growing up, The Master who raised me never taught me to dance... so sorry if I move like a duck with two left feet, hehe..." His giggle was one laced with nervousness, yet he had confidence that Vix'd lead him, and he'd learn with time.

Mykky - Hectic Overworld Theme Playing

"...He what...?" She lowered her hand from her face, and barely noticed Frillz walking up to her, a concerned look on his face for her. She thought back to when she'd first met up with Vix- how kind he'd been, how funny he'd been (even though she'd never admit it to his face), and how mischievous. That was all a lie... then? All a ruse to play with her feelings? With her pride?

"...He used me, huh? Like some kind of toy...?" She bit her lip, fists clenching up into tight balls of sheer rage, making Frillz back off, not wanting to be close to her when she was like this. Her stripes hummed with latent energy, the grass beneath her writhing, turning a deep shade of red to reflect her anger. "What is this... some kind of- some kind of sick game to him?! Who the hell is he to think he can play with one's emotions like that! Who the hell is he to act so smug, when he's nothing but a two-bit family killer with no redeeming factors whatsoever?!" Her eyes glew with her stripes as she yelled this at the ground, anger rolling off of her in waves. She wasn't a puppet to be played with! She was nobody's underling! How dare he play with her like that, and make her to be the fool!

"...What's your name, Kitsune?" She met his gaze with one of bubbling, frothing rage that was at the edge of boiling over. "I want to know my partners name. Because we need to get to that asshole before he twists Melchio's mind like he did mine. That filthy, disgusting liar, thinking he's a puppetmaster. We'll see who's who when he's strung up, hanging from a tree as tall as the sky by a noose made from vine."

Ferra and Torr

Ferra arched a brow when N'thyg said something about evolving. Maybe she could trap Reed and feed him to it...nah. That'd be too mean. "Yeah he does. But I've seen weirder, plus he's pretty freaking cool." She told Rex. "Watcha' need a mirror for? You look normal to me." She questioned curiously. They soon reached the portal, and once making sure Rex and N'ythg were following, summarily went through it with them. "Annd here we are. Paragon Square in Faereach." She declared. She then turned to Hordoc, "Thanks for letting us use the portal. You don't happen to know where I could sell some dragon scales do you?" She asked him.
Hordoc "Aye, ye can talk to a merchant just on the other side o' the square in fact. Depending on the quantity and species you can get a minimum o' at least ten grand. Happy huntin lass."

N'thyg 'Kofum Looking around at this new place known as Paragon square N'thyg hissed at the dwarf whom was slightly smaller than him. "Strange land. Miss swarm." Tilting his head he looked straight at Ferra, "Queen request services? Hunt. Kill. Scout?" He had never seen this place and following his former knowledge with the swarm he assumed they'd be on the offensive or at least setting a stable hive, or whatever his new abnormal queen would call it.

"Oh, you know, just to make sure I don't have any Pimples" Rex answered her question sarcastically. He walked through the portal, giving a brief nod of thanks to Hordoc. He then looked around curiously, rather amazed at this new city, but used to surprises by now. "I am Not disappointed" he muttered to himself. Glancing at the park, he pulled out a cigarette and lit it, "Huh, looks like Something went down.." he chuckled darkly, not surprised. After all, with such diverse powerful creatures around, he was sure there was bound to be some action. Stuffing his hands into his pockets, Rex turned to look at Ferra, Torr, and N'thyg. In his mind, he pondered whether to ditch them or stick around. However, he decided to keep the deal, since he would have help getting used to the land a little bit.
