Futuristic Empires of Talveria

After the crash-landing was scanned and confirmed, two shuttles full of soldiers and officers were sent to investigate. They touched down fifty meters from the vessel, and approached with weapons raised. The officers took their backs, armed with advanced pulse pistols, trained on the vessel.
"If anything moves, aim at it. I'll do the talking", one of the officers barked into his COMM unit, advancing to a bit of debris, using it as a sort of cover. His squad advanced with him, and soon, the four squads had every side of the crashed vessel covered.

Captain Vek'tor, a former police unit, pulled out a small device, before speaking into it. His voice was projected through coded neural waves, sending information through silence as he launched the message towards the foreign ship.

It was something along the lines of...

"You're in Sorian territory, state your business. Failure to respond in thirty minutes will give us full permission to break into your vessel, and eliminate you if need-be. You're surrounded, don't try anything funny."
The ship did not move nore respond. From outside it appeared to be very old plant growth spread all across its hull, but it appeared to have no sign of decay the hull still shined with the exception of some dirt.

The Reetain scientists have gathered together and are more or less centralised around the old man. The old man looked at the two indidium panels. One having a type of scanner and a strange orb with a long needle-like end extending downward. The man can't exactly understand the purpose of those two objects and instead proceeded to scan the ancient alien language to see what he would have to do.
No one in the science group is exactly willing to touch the scanner no matter how tempting it may be they are being cautious with thier movements, not wanting to start something out of the ordinary just yet.
The panel revealed this was where xerilliums, was tested and manufactured injected into special cells to contain the xerillium properly. The hand scanner began to make a beeping sound. The panel would show it requires dna examination to unlock proper access to the xerillium room.

[QUOTE="the-lich]The kalid doctor scuttled back and forth "what i want is what all species want- no no! Need....survival..., we kalids have been dead for so long...i think we deserve a second chance dont you all agree" his message translated to all of the fleets near the relic. "Then theres this thing...mind letting me take a look"

The lord looked to the crazed entitiy" you prove to have a unstable nature, and have bin openly hostile to our empire. Do tell why i should allow passage for your race to enter the holy relic?" She asked.

37 gave a deep rumbling sigh before relaxing and ordering one of the Engineers to send messages to the other two Dealers on board. Once the unknown returned on the viewport, 37 faced towards it and tilted his large head to the side.
"As it would seem." he stated slowly "Though we will continue to consider caution as a prime state for now, the request for permission to land and analyze is still up."

In the Hangar, The Gas Barge was ready and the personnel planning to go were set. However, when the Dealer at the Bridge viewed a camera feed he noticed something new. There were two grunts securing a prisoner with metallic restraints.. It was another Theron, wearing more tattered and ramshackle armor. The Dealer paused as the Grunts dragged him away, shaking his head at the fact that a Groundwalker had made it aboard their vessel. It must have come onboard before they had left Goliath, the Dealer made note of that.

The other Dealer was in the loading bay when he had received the Bridge's message. "So we're finally close to some progress." He stated before turning to the Beast Riders "The situation seems to have been averted, but I would like to have you on standby just in case." Once done with that the Dealer exited the Loading Bay.
[Reloc station tranquility]

The lord lady Hera turned to the wntity speaking on the monitor" there are to many races here. However the station has just picked up a distress signal from a crashed ancient frigate ship. You are welcome to investivate there quordanints will be transmitted shortly. Be warned unkown life forms have bin detected trying to investigate the ship id suggest haist be made." She said calmly.

"DNA examination..." The old Reetain man repeated.

He unzipped his suit and crawled out of it. Some of the scientists fretted as their captain and head scientist showed himself bare as he began to proceed in placing his palm onto the canner. His big wrinkled hand landed gently on the surface and the scientists around him held there breaths as they wait for what happens next.

37 growled slightly but nodded in agreement to the surprising amount of Leniency "Very well," he stated before turning away from the viewports and gesturing to the Engineers "We shall follow the signal and conduct our own search. Any information considered beneficial to you shall be relayed back on this channel."

After that 37 turned to the Engineers "Get us to those coordinates."

The Quiturin ship turned and carefully ambled away from the other ships. Once out of range the Quiturin ship jumped into slip-space.

And so, the ship reappeared moments later in an unknown solar system. After glancing around the viewport for a bit, an Engineer pointed out the planet where the distress signal was originating. 37 considered the planet for a bit, thinking of the lifeforms that the other unknowns had warned about.

37 activated long range communications and the Dealer with him began trying to contact the planet.

"This is a call for response issued by a representative of the Aedeagus Hive." said the Dealer "If you are able to respond, please do." @SirFlabberghaspy

When the Reetain scientist placed his hand on the dna scanner the pannel glowed a bright green. The scientist was suddenly surrounded by a stream of pure white light that emminated a harmonious glow seeming to warm one inside. The beam of light swirled around his arm all over his body then back to the pannel. In a split second the panel retracted. Suddenly a male ai voice spoke from seemingly no where" species catalog designation code: 0934 the Reetains. Classified as potential harbingers of the tridact. Permission granted for access to xerillium laboritory." It said before more panels revealed themselves each displaying information from energy output, xerillium production and containment to application information.

"This is brilliant." The old man looked around him as he felt gouged by the machinery coming to life. The scientists had spread out all over the room, began to extract and translate data about the xerillium. They began to research the energy's properties, understanding what level of machinery and tech you'd need to reproduce the energy, analyzing its atomic structure and output. The suited figures were bustlingabout tin the room with thier own equipm, ent and with the things provided by the laboritory.

In the midst of this The old man paused during an examination of the xerillium. He remebered what the voice had said: Species catalog designation code: 0934 the Reetains. Classified as potential harbingers of the tridact.

What does that mean? The man placed his knuckles on the edge of his beardy chin. The longer he thinks about it the more questions pop inot his head.

Who exactly are these Anceints? How are they connected to the Reetains...? or in this case 'Species 0934'.

What happened to the Ancients?

*beep* The old man snapped back to the reality on staring at a hologramic display. Whatever the case, that will be a story to research another time...

"What is it you want, Aedeagus Hive? Are you related to the recent report of the crashed ship? If so, authorization will be pending, as security has been sent to secure the ship and search for identification. Artifacts found on Sorian land are property of the Sorian Science League, and interest in them will be notable for possible bargaining."

(Just letting you know that is a ancient ship long sence crashed.)

37 tilted his head to the side for a moment and glanced at the Dealer next to him. Eventually the Dealer hummed a bit and replied, "Yes, we were enlisted by another race to track down this vessel, apparently your interference with it enabled some sort of distress beacon. While they did mention us benefiting off of the vessel, we are more than understanding of your efforts. We merely needed the definite location of the relic and an understanding of the species who uncovered it. That being said, we do humbly request to be included in your evident investigation and are more than capable of staying out of your way."

-Arkain Command-

Murmuring of multiple voices could be heard in the distance, and a sigh was also heard. With that, the sound of an organic drifting into his chair was heard, and with that, the pressing of a few buttons.

"You're allowed clearance, and the location of the ship is being sent towards you. We have agreed to allow your assistance in the investigation of this ship, and we will give you the ship once we clearly understand that any technology aboard the ship will not greatly aid the Sorian Empire, or be used against them. Please note: More units will be sent to the perimeter in case you try anything funny. Honesty is the best policy, but we don't have a great track record with non-alliance species."

The Dealer on board nodded in agreement "Very well, an Ambassador shall be dispatched with a small entourage immediately." At that he gestured to 37, who gave the all clear signal to the Dealer in the Hangar.

Minutes later the Dealer and a group of Therons were sailing towards the location of the vessel in the Gas Barge that had been prepared earlier. The Beast-vehicle was surprisingly nimble for one of its apparent size, nowhere near as impressive as other air-based war beasts but nonetheless notable. As they neared the sight the Dealer climbed topside of the vessel and let his eyes scan over the Sorian presence.

The Crew for the Barge was quite small, numbering no larger than sixteen including the Dealer. It consisted of a mix of Scouts and Engineers mostly, with one Brawler that was to stay on board unless requested. As the Barge touched down not far from the assembled Sorians, the Dealer hopped down to the ground and straightened himself once more. before gesturing for the research team to follow him.

The Research Team was equally underwhelming, two scouts and six engineers who followed out of the Barge behind the Dealer hefting three heavy looking crates in pairs of two. As the Engineers handled the Crates, the Scouts made sure to look at as much as they could. They twitched and jerked their heads to and fro as they went over the data of the Sorian planet. The Dealer walked ahead of the group and glanced over the area as well, though less enthusiastically as the scouts, before standing before the gathered Sorians and giving a quaint little bow in greeting.

"Command said you're here to examine the ship. I assume you know that security is being tightened. Try not to cause too much trouble", the Captain muttered as he tapped away at a device. Within the next few seconds, distant roars of aircraft could be heard, probably carrying the extra security that Arkain Command had mentioned earlier.

"We just secured the site awhile ago, the inside hasn't been touched, and we've set up defensive perimeters in case any hostile force is given from the ship, or those interested in it. Anti-Xenobacteria sterilizers are being distributed, in case you feel the need to protect yourself against any foreign germs", a Sorian Scientist began as the Captain jogged back towards a makeshift heli-pad, aiding the craft in landing. The secured plates of grey metal suddenly burst outwards, and shifted to the sides of the craft. With quick salutes, the new squadron of Sorian Security Units dropped off from the hovering ship, and hit the dirt below.

And, with a few waves, the craft flew off; It's metal doors slid back into original position, violently pulling and sliding itself into a locking mechanism. The pilot looked down and gave out a signal, and the Captain responded by copying the signal, followed by a nod.

"Security is here, you're permitted to begin", the Sorian Scientist would finish as he pressed a button against the side of his helmet, letting out a signal to the others through their HUDs. "Try not to break anything."

The Dealer chuckled a bit before turning to his entourage and nodding. The Engineers snarled something amongst themselves before heading over to the ship with their crates, minding the surrounding Sorians of course. Instead of looking for the entrance of the vessel they immediately set down their crates near a large portion of the strange plant growth on one side of it. As one pair of Engineers set their crate down and began opening it, one of the scouts turned to the Dealer and gave a questioning growl. The Dealer waved it off and pointed to the other two pairs of Engineers "You two, find suitable growth spots on other portions of this vessel." He said before gesturing to the scouts "One of you with each group, I want eyes on everything."

The listening Therons split into groups of three each, two Engineers and one scout, before setting off along the sides of the vessel to find decent spots to set up.

Once they were gone the Dealer nodded to the Engineers with him, who popped open the crate and lifted both a large metal cylinder and a cube of similar making. As the Engineer with the cube-like contraption set it down next to the crate, the one holding the Cylinder twisted it a bit and pressed several buttons to unlock it. Inside were small glass containers with small creatures inside them. The Engineer glanced at the one near the cube contraption, who nodded back in confirmation. The Engineer pulled several of the containers out before gently handing the Cylinder to the Dealer. The Engineer cracked open one of the containers as he approached the plant growth, and pulled out a frantically jittering parasite that tried as hard as it could to sink its mandibles into the Engineers hands.

<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2015_03/parasite.jpg.03e94335efa3e5879ce6b6ceb67e9998.jpg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="45958" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2015_03/parasite.jpg.03e94335efa3e5879ce6b6ceb67e9998.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

The Engineer quickly attached the creature to the plant growth, were it began sinking the rest of its extensions into it and emitting a small humming noise as it calmed down. The Engineer repeated this process with several more before the Dealer halted him.

"That's enough," the Dealer stated, the Engineer shrugged and backed away from the currently feeding parasites "now we wait a moment."

"Yes, to prevent a catastrophic war for the both of us, I believe we must secure some kind of relation as a barrier towards that path. It would also seem that other nations are close by, nations that may get in our way. To put simply, if we ally, not only will there be peace, but an even greater force guarding that peace. When war comes, none will stand in our way",

Alva delivered the offering with a sincere face. She bowed afterwards, a sign of respect in Sorian culture. To bow to an outsider meant trusting them with your life, which she was doing at the moment, armed with nothing but simple fighter cannons, and with one proton torpedo in the cargo hold.
(@SirFlabberghaspy )

The chief secretary had begun talking with his aids on the Sorian offer. And after a while, the Ambassador came back on the screen.

"We the Sovereign Colonies government will accept your offer of an alliance. Our government is now going to work on a date for our president to sign the alliance agreement."

"However, although we accept your alliance, we shall also give to you, our proposals. We the Sovereign Colonies shall not engage in black marketing, we shall not deploy our own troops ad military assets unless there is a strong reason and need."

Scout Ship 100-992, "The Aladorai"

"Thank you very much, you will not regret this. The Sorians can handle themselves, and will only request military aid if a stronger empire threatens us. Likewise, we will assist you if you face a similar threat. No black marketing will occur between the Sorian Empire and the Sovereign Colonies."

With that, Alva turned back towards her crew, who were tapping away at COMM devices. Their long-range COMMs were disabled due to an encounter with pirates not too long ago. However, their engineer managed to get it temporarily working, and so Alva could send her report to the capitol.

The Supreme Chancellor responded quickly with...

"You've done us well. I'm pleased, a promotion is in order. Sorian Defenses will be prepared for your return. Also, good news, the war is over. You wont have to worry about any more attacks, the Garrdisil Cartel is already dispersing."

The Sovereign Colonies Captain acknowledged the Sorians as he received another order from the Sovereign Colonies Government.

"Captain, We need you to be prepared to extract all Centrions. Just stay put until further notice."

"Understood, Commander." The Captain said.

As the Dealer stood there waiting, the creature attached to the growths began swelling as it tried to feast on it. Eventually, one of the Engineers glanced at the Creature before growling "This one's about done."

The Dealer turned back to it to see for himself before shrugging and nodding to the Engineer. Carefully, the Engineer pulled a blade from his back and used it to pry the creature off the growth. He then turned and lowered it into the Cube contraption. He slid the Creature in, and the other Engineer sealed the cube before pressing several buttons on the side.

Now the Hive would let the Sorians have their fun with the ship, but what they knew better than anything was genetics and Biology. And if there was anything they knew about Biology, it was that every miniscule cell affected other in various ways. The Newt, as they call the Creature, had already eaten some of that plant-like growth. Now they just had to analyze any changes that the growth might have made to its cells.

It would take some time though, they weren't in any rush so there wasn't really any need to rush the analysis. The Dealer folded his arms and began staring silently at the Sorians while the Engineers prepared other analysis cubes for the other creatures.

A large vibration would be felt like a earthquake. Nothing would appear to be causing it, but the planet till suddenly from the large engines out back began to glow with a bright green energy. The ships automated systems were slowly comeing back online.
