Well, he could end up going ballistic depending on when your character and mine meets, if it's in the middle of nowhere and a dragon pops out of nowhere mine is very likely to attack (the dragon that is).

Ah, that's understandable. Though, considering he's a solo player and also makes sure that Orchid is out of the way in areas that have monster spawns, that happening is unlikely.
