( ! ) Julie opens up a dimensional rift in front of her and puts her hand into it. Another dimensional rift appears on Lilith's back. Julie's hand comes out the other side and phases into Lilith's chest. Julie was ready to pull her heart out when she noticed Simi. "What are you doing here?" She practically growls at her.

Lilith was calm. Once Julie


entered her back, she felt a certain peace wash over her. She closed her eyes, and let her powers go absolutely insane. She amplified the darkness of everyone in a mile radius, and used a shadow near them to bind their feet to the floor. The only thing that could free them was Lilith, or somone who dables with light magic. The rest of the shadows, fashioned into pikes, surrounding them both. Lilith also increased her own insanity, and when she opened her eyes, they had gotten a few shades darker. She looked at Julie, and then giggled. And she continued to do that, her giggles growing to a wicked cackle. Once she got herself under control, she looked at Julie, and tilted her head, smiling. "You want to kill me? Go ahead. I'm about done with this life. I've had a pretty lengthy life, maybe too lengthy. But, I'll warn you. If you decide to do that, I'll envelope this whole castle in absolute insanity. I won't leave anything behind. I haven't ever done that, because well, I'd die, but if I'm already a dead man, might as well go out with a bang, right?"

Lucien stood, with all the talk of hitting their base from different points outside and in, "Isaac right? I can also accompany you on the inside, I am very fast and can hold my own against large amounts of enemies, if we hit them right, there will be enough confusion that we won't need to focus on simply defending ourselves but can move to deal a lot of damage. But I do recommend that even though we start as a split force, we do our utmost to regroup once the attack has begun. Doing As much damage as we can apart and then coming together to we can use speed and overwhelming force to sweep through their base."


Altiera looks to Isaac her hardened expression softening only slightly, "I will go with the aerial assault I haven't stretched my wings in a while."


The doors leading into the dining hall opened and the dark skinned man walked in his black armor glinting in he light as he walked a surprisingly gentle yet deep voice resounded as he spoke, "If we will be flying I will also be using my own wings, I'm not going to rely on another dragon to fly again." Kai'zen's red eyes skimmed over the group before shifting to a startling electric blue. "If we'll be going to the arctic circle I suppose I should change....yeah, sky dragon will be better." Kai'zen murmured this to himself knowing that shifting forms forms was common around these people he felt that it wasn't something worth bringing attention to.


Tereus' head turned as he peered at the med bay door noticing the change in Isabel's energy, "Krios...how are Isabel's vitals looking, any sign that she may be more active at all?" A hint of desperation was in his voice, he urgently felt the need to apologize, he had to let her know that leaving wasn't his choice and show her who he truly is without the other forms walling him off from her.

Julie was about to make the first finishing blow but a large rocky fist bursts out of the symbol on Lilith's stomach and smashes into Julie. The punch pushes Julie back, which makes her hand slide out of the dimensional rift. She would have fell on to a spike but she uses her dragon exoskeleton to fly above them. Luckily she did since the Meta Demon just knocked her into Isabels wall with another punch.


The Meta Demon had the lower body of a horse, the torso and arms of a golem, phoenix wings sprouting from its shoulder blades, and bats head. It stood at 16 feet. It's entire body was made out of evil but for appearances it could only be described as a body of pure darkness. The only thing that wasn't darker than the night on its body was it's two glowing red eyes. Murky darkness oozes off of its body, so thick it's suffocating. The Meta Demon let's out a large cry so everyone could hear it. As if it wanted to bring attention to Lilith.


Lilith's symbol was searing hot, as if it were trying to burn her. It was also glowing. The symbol was visible underneath her shirt because of this.


Julie was starting to panic, she couldn't let the others come into Isabels room and see what it looked like. She had to stop it before they arrived.

"The cocoon ran out of mana. Surprisingly Isabel stopped breathing a while ago and the cocoon was not only supplying her with oxygen but it was making her body breath for her. I was keeping a tab open so I can watch her condition and had medics assist her before things got drastic. We put her on a ventilator after we cut off the entire upper part to the cocoon. But that wouldn't have lasted for long since her blood pressure and brain activity was low. She wasn't getting any better and that cocoon was her best chance. She wasn't going to make it by the looks of it. All we did was lengthen her life for a period of time." Krios stops talking as if that's the end of the story. Be continues to type at his screen for a good five minutes. "Jackie entered the room and gave Isabel a separate power source that would generate its own power constantly. So you could say Jackie saved her life and she will continue to recover. Since half of her body is visible and there is a separate entity already fueling her. We may or may not get rid of the rest of the cocoon. Unless it regenerates to continue its job. Jackie is still inside there with Isabel." Krios hears a shrill cry, it didn't seem all too human. "I think we have a problem."

The Meta Demon grabs Lilith with it's golem arms and carries her with it as it bursts through a wall. The Meta Demon charges through the halls and has explosive feathers shoot out of the phoenix wings on its back.

The Meta Demon turns the corner and let's out a deafening screech. It blasts rocks out of its free hand and fires explosive feathers from its wings.

"Holy shit was not expecting that!" Isaac said dodging the rocks and feathers flying at him. Isaac then morphed his arm into a sword saying. "Bring on you.... whatever you are."

The Meta Demon charges towards him while another being the size of a tennis ball shoots out of the glowing symbol on Lilith's stomach and rushes down the hall elsewhere. The Meta Demon flaps it's wings and takes flight, only to drop back down. Attempting to crush Isaac with it's hoof.

Isaac narrowly rolled out of the way of the hoof, but once he was in the clear Isaac went to work on the demons legs, using a bit of his super speed he ran around the demon a few times making as many cuts as possible then backing away and seeing what the demon would do.

When Isaac did this, the Meta Demon split in half several times. Making 6 of them that run in a different direction around the castle. Destroying things in their path, killing the servants.


Julie races out of Isabels room to hear this destruction. She had to stop this quickly. They were going to destroy her home.

Jackie's head darts up at the shriek, her eyes searching even though she can't see anything. Looking down to Isabel, she squeezes the girl's hands tightly, "Sweetie, I'm going to close and lock the door. I think we might have some unwanted company..." After releasing Isabel's hand, no longer referring to Isabel or even trying speaking through their connection, Jackie speaks to Sanctum as she goes to close and lock the med-bay doors, and, unbeknownst to her, Isabel can still hear Jackie's thoughts, "Sanctum, start rebuilding the cocoon. While you do this, protect her body as if it were mine."





There's a rumble of a deep, rasping chuckle, and despite the fact Isabel can't make out Sanctum, even in unconsciousness, it feels as though Sanctum is mockingly bowing, " Of course. After all, it is you who will pay the price."

It launches rocks at Krios and fires explosive feathers from its wings at Jackie. This Meta Demon had Lilith in its grasp. The symbol of the Dark Arts glows on her stomach.


Krios uploads his swords and dives out of the way of the boulders.


The cocoon starts to regrow and cover Isabels body. Hiding her from the world once again.

Isaac was thrown of balance by the tremor, which made it harder to move. After realizing that attacking would be pointless he starts running around the castle trying to kite the monsters until he found their weakness saying. "Fresh meat! Come and get it!"

Isaac looked back at Alpha saying. "It's not like I planned on being chased by demons today, also do you know these things weak points?"

The Meta Demon was facing them but it's bald spot in which darkness doesn't ooze of it's body cannot be seen.

It is not your fault that she has betrayed you. You can't always tell when a traitor or a spy is among you, and it was simply a mistake. Everyone in your family - including your grandmother - has made this mistake, Domina," Simi takes Julie's hand and pats it affectionately, "You are not at fault. Simi-" She pauses, then corrects herself, "I will protect you from your Father, if he is angered. You must breathe, Domina."

The debris from the door shreds across her skin, but Jackie ignores the pain and shoves Isabel further into the room, away from the battle. Tendrils erupt from Jackie's back, but instead of looking like they follow her will enitrely, they're looking around, keeping a watchful eye over anything going after Isabel or herself. Jackie practically snarls mentally, "No heads up? Really, Sanctum? Really?"





When he graces her with a response, he feigns insult, "I have followed your will as you commanded me, Jackie; I protected the girl. You never said I had to protect you. But see? She's safe. Isn't that right, meatsack? " He speaks to Isabel, and in her mind, she can see a vague shape of monstrous, malevolent smile, almost invisible enough for it to seem like the trick of the mind.


Jackie growls, "Don't speak to her. Keep watch for both me and Isabel, Sanctum. This is your body, too."


The smile widens in Isabel's mind. "For now."

Tereus had just got back to the dining hall only to see meta demons destroying the Van'Fenrir castle. "What the hell happened here!?" Tereus yelled, a white energy sparking up in his palms it enveloped his hands and glowed brightly, he blasted on in the small of its back with his beam of light scorching a hole clear through its abdomen he followed that up by blasting the vital points of heart and head. He whipped around to see where he others are and sent a blast of light arcing toward the meta demon in front of Alpha and Isaac. "Yo Alpha, we need to get these things outside pronto!"

Simi watches Julie do two circuits of pacing, then gentle grabs her arm and guides her to sit on the floor, "Your father is not as ill of temper as you make him out to be, Domina. It is not your fault that she has betrayed you. You can't always tell when a traitor or a spy is among you, and it was simply a mistake. Krios focuses on keeping the Meta Demon busy. He doesn't attack but instead scans his opponent. So far he didn't notice anything out of the ordinary.

Fahy and Dru had been sitting in a small room while Dru read and Fahy worked on his necromancy. They both heard the shouting but Dru wouldn't let Fahy go until he succeeded so Fahy continued to work until he did, he managed to summon a medium sized dog looking thing.

While the small being inside the room grows into a large modified lion. Which split into a 5 member lion pack. It expels an uncomfortable heat and attempts to pounce on Isabel. Scorching heat waves flow towards Jackie as an attempt to keep her busy.

A tendril wraps around the midsection of one leaping at her, throwing it through the broken doorway and into the other Meta Demon outside, another piercing through the light coming from the beast. The snake-headed arms each bite into a lion, holding it at bay and away from both Hosts. With no more arms, Jackie halts the largest - which is lunging at Isabel - by grabbing it's jaws, being mindful of it's very sharp teeth, with her bare hands, which she immediately regrets when her skin burns at the contact. With a pained shout, she sends a surge of freezing corruption through both the beast and her own hands. She throws it back as it's maw starts to be covered black frost, the other demonic arms freeing themselves to rip apart the lions held within the grasp of the snake-headed ones.


While Jackie fights off the lions, Sanctum kept the inside of the cocoon cool, and when he answers Isabel, there is nothing in his words that is aggressive, his tone doesn't seem friendly. "Hello, Isabella. My name is Sanctum," A rush of demonic whispers erupts at his name, but is once again silenced when Sanctum resumes speaking, I suppose you can say that me and Jackie are old friends, if you're stretching the definition of 'friends'," He replies cryptically. His smile stretches, "Would you like to know how Jackie and I met, meatsack?" He laughs, the sound similar to grinding nails on a chalk board, and Isabel feels Jackie's presence leave their consciousness as suddenly as someone could blow out a candle, "You see, unlike yours, Jackie's daddy-" Some demons within Sanctum snicker at the mocking tone he uses for the words, but he continues, unhindered, "-wasn't a very good man. A mafia boss, ruthless and crueler than anyone could even dream of. A real murderer, who cut open his victims like fillets... But back to Joseph Sapienti; he surrounded himself with people just like him. Jackie's predecessor, my former host, was one of them,a fellow by the name of Johnathan MacAlister. Most called good ole Johnny a demon, cursed, but not Joey - and he was all those thing. But, oh, no, no, no, never Joey. Johnny was Joey's best friend. Was Jackie's GOD FATHER, if you'd believe it. Joey invited him into their home, always, and by extent, allowed me in, too."


He makes his voice sound sympathetic, but it sounds like he's barely holding back laughter, "But poor, poor Jackie. Growing up with murderers for parents and a monster as the only one to turn to if they died. But, then the tables turned. Jackie's daddy made a mistake. He was smarter, and his wife was even smarter, but even they slipped up. Miscalculated. Forgot the steps to the dance they'd been doing with another Crime Family. They raided poor Jackie's house, and while the parents and all the grown ups were distracted saving their own hide from being riddled with bullets, they forgot all about all the poor kiddies cowering in their room. Took all five children hostage, if you can even believe the cruelty. They weren't very nice to all of them - they hit little, nine year old Jackie right across the face when she started crying because she was afraid when they wouldn't take the gun away," Sanctum sighs almost angrily, his voice turning to a feral growl, "That's when my host, dear old Johnny - stupid fucking idiot - rejected my orders to save them, and they killed him. Shot him right here, here, and here-" Each time Sanctum says 'here', Isabel feels a ghost of a touch on her body, raising goosebumps at the frigid feeling; across her forehead, right between her eyes; right beside her heart, just under her left breast; and another above her navel, "-So fast that I didn't even get a chance to react before he was dead. But it left little ole me without a host, and I'll admit I didn't know who, out of everybody in the house, to pick. It was a little hard to make a choice, truth be told, but in the end, I saw that scared, baby Jackie didn't have any mana I had to compete with, so I chose her. but I also chose her because she had potiental. I could see what she would soon be capable of doing. So I made her into my puppet. Warped her mind and corrupted her morals. Made her a monster, made her a demon, made her capable of violence, made her love the feel of a beating heart thumping between her bloodied palms, made her relish in the sound of dying screams. Made her long for death. Made her crave corruption. She fights it. She can try, but I have made it a part of her."





Sanctum starts to laugh, his voice dripping with maliciousness, every word harsh and grating, "And I'm going to do the same to you, meatsack! I'm going to break you, little Van Fenrir. Don't you understand? Jackie sought to protect you, but she has given you freely over to me. Your WILL is MINE. Your FLESH is MINE. YOU ARE MINE. THERE WILL BE NOTHING LEFT OF YOU. YOU WILL SUCCUMB TO CORRUPTION. NOT EVEN JACKIE WILL BE ABLE TO SALVAGE YOUR SOUL ONCE I HAVE TORN IT FROM YOU! ONCE I HAVE TORN YOUR MIND TO SHREDS!!!" Out of her mind, a monstrous, grotesque, misshapen creatures rears out of the darkness clouding her mind, the smile Isabel had seen prior not even a smile, but simply too thin lips, dry and bleeding black sludge, pulled over teeth too large for it's mouth and sharper than any mouth can hope to be. It's eyes, wide, reeling, and pure white, leer in psychotic glee, a black tongue darting out to lick across it's teeth. It's nose is non-existent, with two slits acting for breathing instead, and beyond this creature, who hovers barely 2 inches in front of Isabel's face, others start to form from the shadows, crawling towards Isabel like cockroaches, with hollow eyes and sunken faces. Some start to grasp Isabel's ankles, and she feels the actual touch of their fingers against her skin, even though there is nothing there.

Julie slowly nods her head and tries her best to breath. "T-thank." Julie continues regulating her breath. "You."

Simi rubs her back soothingly, "It is fine, Domina. Your grandmother used to suffer these as well, so Simi - I mean, I had to do some research on how to help someone who is. Most say to let them ride it through, and to tell them everything is okay."
