Update: Was a long day but wasn’t selected for the criminal case as a juror. So I’m free and will be working on a post in my free time between work and etc.

Nice you have to use an excuse or they let you go?
They had a juror turn out of 52 people and that’s with two no showing. So I was lucky and was one of the many that was not selected for serving on the jury needed.

Side-note: Also court suitable attire is far more flexible then I thought. Least for day one it was

Yeah, I took the no casual clothing and business only too literal I guess. Haha. Only I and two others fit the business attire I thought would apply to court settings.
They usually mean business casual, like what you would wear in an office setting, BUT STILL I would have no clothes lol. Did you at least feel snazzy wearing it for the day?

Edit: My office setting was rather very casual. So not sure if my office setting would be a good template to work from haha. We just wore whatever in our meetings
Haha most wore jeans and some just wore regular long sleeve shirts, one a normal t shirt. I figured only business or business casual I had would be my suit or my suit pants with a polo shirt, I arrived feeling awfully over dressed and not comfortable since I’m more of jeans and T-shirt kind of guy or polo if necessary Lol. Can’t say snazzy was the feeling though, more scruffy needing a haircut within a suit kind of feeling. Haha

I've gotten lost on the rotation. Whose next?
Now it’s you, Karcen and Panda then Riku

Thank you! Now to do a little research to see if there have been any solid explanations about how Templar's abilities worked. I know Alistair said that they weren't magical in nature, but then Inquisition and the whole lyrium thing makes me question if that's a lie that the order tells so they don't have to look like hypocrits for fighting magic with magic.

You’re welcome! redroseknight redroseknight

One idea would play into the group eliminating the mage responsible and thus encountering a group of hired hands as well. Which once done would see to the disposal of the glyph.

While the other would be more difficult to say given what more is there. Since Templar’s seemed to have a variance in lore and lacking full explanations. However dispelling of harmful Magic’s is a constant claim they have, dispelling a glyph wouldn’t be beyond a Templar I don’t believe. Though I could be wrong. I recall one Templar ability in each game was ‘Cleanse area’ and Inquisition had a spell shatter ability that references dispelling barriers. So seems likely that between the two enough exists in lore to say Gwyn could dispel the glyph with her Templar abilities.

If any of that helps.

That does help! I was reading, and apparently Mages use the Fade to shape the reality around them to cast spells. Templars use the lyrium and their own sheer willpower to make reality stay firmly as it is, making it difficult or impossible for the mages to cast magic. Apparently Blood Magic, though, is something that they can't block because it doesn't require using the Fade.

So I think I've got an idea of how to make Gwyn be able to dispel the Glyph.

Haha It is going to really suck for the group when Gwyn runs out of lyrium and starts to lose her mind.

Cant stop blood magic you say Laughs in blood mage

Might be fun to see how the lyrium addiction works out I have fun ideas if somehow Sene becomes close to her normally mortal enemy.

I hope that my description of her abilities was adequate. And yes, it will be fun for Gwyn to have to actually face some of her fears and go through a trial she can't smile her way out of.

Lol her flirting with Sene will be nice sene will have to act flustered and embarrased all the while hating every moment

Sure she hates being hit on by Gwyn. I'm sure they will have interesting conversations though they would have to be really close for Gwyn to actually voice some of her doubts when it comes to the order.

Right now it's more she hates that gwyn exists Sene has never met a good templar and blames them for a lot of her problems.

Still I do hope they become close lol

Which is fair. Maybe Gwyn can change her opinion a little as they travel together. We'll see if Sene ends up wanting to throttle Gwyn more than she wants to befriend her. xD And Gwyn's reaction will be interesting when she learns that Sene is a mage.

Even more fun if/ when she is revealed as a blood mage

I'll try to post tomorrow

Woah! I totally missed the part where Gwyn was friggin Knight Captain, she's gonna be pissed when she finds out what she missed back at Kinloch Hold. Everyone already told you what the lyrium can do, but don't forget templars are aided by the use of blood magic in the form of phylacteries lol Hypocrites!!

I too, shall attempt to post. I think Ser William is going to attempt to carry Grace. I don't think it's far off to say that the group brought SOME food with them (they for sure have water.) But Riona is going to suggest going to the camp to let Zeddicus rest a bit and send the other knights home with the message that he was found.

I was thinking that her sister Iris could be caught up in what happened while she is gone. She s a headstrong mage that definitely woudnt stop short of using blood magic if she needed it to aid her escape. See now Gwyn reacts when she loses why she became a Templar for anyways
