Thanks! :> Nothing serious just plans haven’t gone accordingly this past week.
Later on after Act 1, Yes, there will be opportunities for people to play as mages and add to the rp/plot with mage character roles. However as a side-note in my efforts to limit the number of mages on hand, I’ll be limiting 1 mage per person.
I doubt it will become a mass submitting of mage oc’s either way. But just in case there will be limits still when the opportunity arises and opens up for people to bring a mage into the story.

That’s assuming everyone submits a mage lol. But yeah still a lot, also the limitations on what kind of mage characters will be accepted, will hopefully add to the numbers limit. (Since I don’t plan on submitting any mages outside of NPC types for missions and stuff. That cuts it down a bit for this small group)

I know the feeling xd. For this rp it has only happened once or twice but I’ve experienced that alot in past rps.
Things are decent enough for me, just plans interrupted and delayed a bit. Hopefully all is well for everyone else.
That’s understandable. I’ve played mages in the past, once I played around with a class of mage, but I’ve seen a lot of ideas of all sorts get thrown around in the past like Panda. They can be fun to play but lore is key and not abusing it.

Inquisition really explained a lot of the lore with magic and templars. It even dealt a lot with the Chantry and helped me understand the religious aspects. I've been doing a stream of it and talking with everyone in my party, and talking with Vivienne was interesting since she mentioned that even strong, good mages can be overwhelmed by demons which is why the circles are necessary. I liked having that point of view thrown into the game even though she is, by far, not a popular character. Solas is a really good source of information on the fade.

Inquisition had a really nice balance of views for mages from mages themselves I think. You got a deeper look into a Tevinter mage and what life is like there. Vivienne brought the Chantry and Circle supportive side and aspect of it. Solas brought a lot forward about the fade. Like you said already but that was all quite nice and a bit refreshing to see and experience, I thought Dorian shed a pretty good amount and needed light on Tevinter, Tevinter mages and life, etc, I really enjoyed learning more about that villain labeled nation.
And no haha, we aren’t kidding. We’ve seen a variety of crazy ideas those two are the top of the list.

fair. I’ve been reminiscing about an old concept about a Dalish Mage who gets to the Shapeshifter specialization through a werewolf curse.Now I’m curious about midget Qunari. Considering their size, would a Qunari midget still be taller than a dwarf?

Qunari Midget Princess was like 5 foot nothing. So like an okay size for a human but short for a qunari. She was also very slim, and was somehow raised to think she was an elf??? And hid her very tiny horns in her hair? But she was also a lost Qunari Princess mage who had a relationship with Cullen. Just so many things wrong with that character...
