Shara arrived at the chancellor's office only to find it empty. She stared at the empty room abd her rabbit ears popped out. In a angry pout she stomped her foot and whipped out her phone. Dialing at near inhuman speeds she placed the phone to her ear and waited.

Donovan laughed as he took out the vibrating phone. He held it to his ear and a loud shout flew through the phone. "Where are you?!" Shara's voice could clearly be heard from the phones, but Donovan kept it near his ear, he still had a pleasant smile on his face as he spoke. "I'm outside enjoying the company of Xen and Alecta." The groan could be heard through the phone. "Just come bac.....Wait Xen Evans?"


"Yes Xen Evans, is something wrong dear? Donovan asked curiously.


Shara sighed swallowing her stress. "Nope I was supposed to greet him today. I took the job from Amber so she could investigate the sound and I still have to order the ....." She held in a fake sob, "you're supposed to be here to go over the new budget sheet. I can't leave without your approval."


Donovan couldn't stand to see Shara sad he nodded "alright dear I'll be right there to approve it. Alright, okay, he's there? Yes. Bye" He sighed as he looked at the two students. Alecta would you mind showing Xen here around the school? I know such a promising young girl would be a wonderful guide."

"Thanks, I appreciate it. Sometimes I find it sort of hard to find good books but maybe you can be my dealer. " Darath said, he knew it wasn't like him to tell jokes at all, but there was something about this girl. Maybe because she's the first person he's talked to at this new school. Darath thought as he sat on the terrace. This will be a great place for some alone time anyway. I hope this turns out a good year. Darath turned to glance at Tera who seemed intent on finishing her book. It looks like it is to me.

Ken leaned against the wall and nodded. "Yeah, no one is asking for any good info, just who loves who type of boring stuff." He said obviously disappointed. "It has been far too long since I have gotten in a good fight or even done a prank. Actually I need to get onto that. Maybe I'll do a classic prank." He said before letting out a sigh as he got up from the wall. "I have a feeling something is going to happen, let's hope it's intresting." He said with a grin as he stretched letting out a yawn. "Is there a class soon? I forgot." He muttered as he scratched his head. @The Suspicious Eye


((I changed him to a junior instead of a sophomore if that is ok.)) (I have never been to highschool so I thought a sophomore was higher than a junior xD )

Des smiled and nodded to him "Yeah, a good prank sounds great. Something with a grand finish. Like a giant explosion." He grinned letting the dark thoughts take him in. He needed something to do something to let the school know he was still the best. He was deep in thought until Ken brought up class. "Huh? Oh classes, you actually go? Well 3rd period started a few minutes ago. I don't see the point in student run classes." He began to stretch his arms and neck out till they popped. "My dad's got a weird view on the education system. Students should learn what they want not what is put in front of them." He said in a moking tone. Des shook his head. "Man, I seriously can't believe him. Or the fact that it is actually working." He rested his back on the wall and slid doen to a crouch. "People don't know what they are doing anymore."

This morning announcement was strange. Alice thought to her self as she walked down the hallway. She knew something was going to happen how could it not. Alice walked down the hall with her usual intimidating look on her face. No dare approach her. Of course this was normal for her and it's how she likes it, so she says. She didn't have a class right now and she had some free time, so she decided to go to library to find a new book to read. Whenever she did read she would fine a nice quiet place so she could be alone.

Tera smiled. "Ha, maybe. I tend to pick some pretty obscure books though." She turned her attention back to her book, skimming the words and converting the general idea to memory before flipping the page. "So do you have a class next period or is it free? Because if you do, you might want to get going. If not..." Tera turned around, reaching into the bag she'd been carrying around. She pulled out a different book and offered it to Darath. "I can start my job now." Tera was about to turn back to her book when something occurred to her. "Oh." She quickly looked back up and held out a hand."I'm Tera by the way."

He smiled to Ken and rest ed his head to the wall as he spoke about manipulating the future. He didn't know why but it was hilarious to him. Making life easier? Helping others? This kid is soft. He didn't mind he knew that most people are soft. Himself included, he had a big soft spot for his sister, adopted or not.


Des smiled he had various ways of relieving boredome. Most had long hair and we're beckon by 10 digits. However, he was sure to keep them a secret. He shrugged "sleeping." He pondered about how and where he could get a good explosion. Maybe something made by a fire starter? No that wouldn't work. He gave a long sigh and scratched his head. He'll have to think of something later.

Alice looked through the books but nothing was jumping out at her. She kept scanning until she found a book from one of her favorite authors. She smirked and walked up to the librarian behind the desk to check it out. Alice then took the book and left to go find a nice place to read.

Ken stayed quiet the entire time Des talked, when he finished he remained silent for a minute before busting out laughing. "What do I think? Hahaha! That would be freakin awesome!" He said happily. He took a few deep breaths and calmed down though he was still chuckling. He put away his switchblade and stood up. "I like this idea get ahold of some fire works shoot it at people and more than likely completely ruin the festival. If we get caught there is a high chance of expulsion... So what do you need me to do?" He asked with a broad grin showing him he was without a doubt willing to do this. "Since you just thought about this on the spot I guess you don't have a plan yet, but don't worry. I won't tell anyone....unless they would have to pay me really well." He wouldn't actually tell anyone since if he got caught that would benefit him in no way.

Des smiled this is what he was wanting to do. He needed this, to introduce his regin. Des thought for a moment, "I want the fireworks to spell my name, that way theirs no way anyone will point to you or my crew. Can you find the number of the fireworks guy and place an additional order. My dad wouldn't dare expel me. Believe me I've tried." He paced around trying to plan our the rest of it. "The festival is in s few dayS. I can get some friends and costumes. We're gonna need some kind of distraction. Shara cannot know what's going on before hand." He smiled rubbing his chin, then suddenly he turned to Ken "Shara, she has all the festival info and timetables on a data disk in her pocket at all times. Do you think you can get it?"

"That's a tall order, usually I would force you to pay extra, but...yeah I think I can get my hands on it." He said with a grin. "I'll make a copy so she doesn't know I have it. As for the fire works guy." He searched grabbed one of his notebooks and opened it up and flipped through the pages. "Haha What a conscience haha, I have someone who owes me a favor who just so happens to be the fireworks daughter." He said with a grin before placing his hand on his chin. "Let's see, if she keeps it on her person at all times then it won't be easy. If I recall she is a goody two shoes type of person, but if she see me anywhere near her, she'll be on her guard. Luckily she shouldn't know about my powers. Hey I know she dislikes wolves, but what about german shepherds or small dogs? Also if she saw an injured animal she would check on it right?" He asked just trying to confirm few things before he acted. @The Suspicious Eye

As Kano walked passed by Mitsuru we meet eyes with her and patted Shara on the back. "Yeah maybe later, and it's not vandalism, it's art. I'm sure you all will realize that one day. Also call me Kano." Kano walked beside Shara and Xen for a bit before realizing they how close they were to the chancellor's house. As much as Kano would love to stay every teacher had it in for him chancellor included. "Yeahhhh as much as I would love to stay here and get repramaned I got to go do homework or something like that. Cya later!" With that Kano ran off back to the school grounds.

As Kano walked around the school grounds he felt a chill run down his spine. He grabbed his phone from his pokect and quickly dailed a familiar phone number. He heard Des's voice say that he wasn't there and to leave a message. Slightly annoyed Kano sighed and left one. "Hey ya Des. Thanks for last night by the way, was real fun. Hey I'm wondering if you are planing anything. Things have been quit around here and that's no good. Call me back if you have anything I could jump in on. K thanks bye." Kano hung up right as he bumped into Ryllian. "Oi! Oh hey Ryllian, what's up?" Kano kept on walking and gestured at Ryllian to follow.

[A Guileless Fable]

Julian Lanchester

Flower Garden -

​

The sun sat triumphantly upon his universal throne, its yellow light shining down upon it's loyal and unloyal subject equally without prejudice. Some would have preferred it to keep to itself, especially Julian, who was laying on one of the many tree branches that took shelter within the school's flower garden. He groaned as a few rays of light made it through his makeshift leaf barrier and hit his eyes directly causing him to see nothing but read under his closed eye-lids. Placing his arm over his eyes, he scoffed at the suns foolish attempt to awake him, but was met with more resistance as nature sent out a strong breeze that shook the branch almost causing him to fall. Nearly losing his balance, Julian rose up and quickly grabbed onto the branch with all his might only to be attacked by another gust of wind. This time it had achieved its goal of knocking him down, but just before his arms disconnected with his bed, he hook his legs around it, catching himself.


"It seems you have won again nature. You are indeed a worry adversary." he growled, nature seemingly laughing at him through the sudden loud chirping of nearby birds. Rubbing his eyes, Julian looked out at the school building, his blue and purple eyes adjusting to the light of the sun.


"I wonder what time it is." he thought to himself, before commanding," System ON." As soon as he said that, a blue window popped open with the words [system ON] before switching to another screen which read,"[items], [Quests], [Gold], [skills], and [Currently Equipped]. On the right hand side was a simple diagram of a man that showed how much damage his currently equipped items had sustained. Bypassing all the other options, he looked at the top of the screen that showed a digital clock with the time being half past noon. Had he really slept for that long? He remembered going to first period, and then coming here for a quick nap. Everything else after that was sweet dreaming at that point, and knowing himself he didn't really feel guilty about skipping class either. The health teacher always preached about how good it was to sleep for eight hours, so they couldn't get mad at him for doing as he was taught.


Letting out a large chuckle, he had a good mind to go back to sleep, and was about to do so until the afternoon announcement came on as they usually did at this time. Shara voice could be heard from the nearby speaker giving out useless information as she had always done, but she was then cut off by some unknown disturbance. It began speaking in a maniacal voice causing Julian's body hair to stand up in all directions. His mind raced as the mysterious monster, as he described it, man continued his nonsensical announcement.


Was it a ghost? It can't be a ghost right? I mean don't those only come out at night? He thought to himself, but his thoughts were completely interrupted by the man's creepy repetition. As sweat fell down his cheek, Julian could no longer handle hearing the man speak and quickly jumped down from his current location and began running frantically towards the direction of the school. "I'm not gonna die! I'm not gonna die!" he repeated to himself aloud as if to convince himself more than anything that he was going to survive.

School Ground -

​

Fear overcame him as he kept running for his life, unaware of the fact that the man was no longer on the speaker phone and that he had been running for a good 10 minutes now. He had taken the long way to the school tripping over small branches falling on his face multiple time during is frantic run. Finally, he had reached the school grounds seeing three people standing with one another. His heart jumped for joy at the sight and was about to stop running until the rustling of a nearby tree scared the living hell out of the already paranoid boy. Without thinking about it, he tackled one of them(Kano) to the ground begging," Save me! I don't wanna die!" Tears began forming in his eyes as his rubbed them against the other guy’s shirt unconsciously. He wasn't going to die today. Even if he had to make this person as sacrifice.

Darath thought about the girl's question, and replied "I'm pretty sure I don't any classes till fifth period," Darath said, accepting the book Tera gave him. As she mentioned her name, Darath realized they hadn't been introduced yet. "My name is Darath. Nice to meet you, and thanks for the book. I appreciate it. " Darath said as shook her hand. He then went to a corner and stretched his legs, and started delving deep into the book he received.

Ryllian was about to walk inside the building when he heard someone screaming and a loud thump, when he looked back a guy was lying on the floor with Kano below him, obviously the one on top had tackled the other guy and now they looked as if there were a bunch of tangled limbs on the floor. After a few seconds of doubt he decided to help them "Well maybe they know something about what's happening" he thought as he approached them.


He reached with his hand and offered them help to stand up "Hey, are you okay?" he said. The guy on top looked as if he was scared out of his mind and Ryllian's mind started racing, thinking about several possibilities at once but then he realized it was paranoid to instantly think something has happened, hell who knows, maybe the guy was a wimp and something a rat had sent him running from where he was. However if it was related to the PA incident he was definitely interested in knowing about it, worse case scenario he could always ask for their help to find out what was going on "Do you know what happened with the PA a few minutes ago?" He asked

Kano - School grounds

​

While Kano was walking to Ryllian he started to have a mental debate with himself about wether he should really do his homework like he told Shara or blow it off for one more day. "Ah I can finish it tomorrow... But then again it is for old man Cain's class, hes a tough old dude... Hes only tough on you because you make a joke out of his class, hes really not that bad... Tomorrow it is then... Kano it was due today... Tomorrow it is then!" As he mental debate broke out from his head into his words he also started to move his arms and hand to drive the point forward to himself that doing his homework that was due today, tomorrow was a great idea. His attention was brought away from his "intense" debate when he tripped over a rock and almost face planted. This snapped Kano back to the real world. He started walking backwards so he could face Ryllian. "Hey, sorry about that just having a conversation with myself, normal stuff. Any who I bet you are wondering who I am. The names Kano and I need a buddy right now. Or at least someone to keep me from getting bored." As Kano finished he felt something tackle him to the ground. He looked down but all he saw didn't reassure him of anything. "Holy crap! Am I being attacked by a rainbow!?" He feel to the ground with a thud and looked closely at what just brought him down. It was really a flamboyantly dressed boy. Kano let out a sigh and tried to figure out who this boy was. He knew everyone in this school. He shut himself in his room the first three days of school memorizing the faces and names of everyone. For a second he couldn't figure out who this was but in time he remembered. It was Julian. After Kano released who he was he saw that Julian was crying into Kano's shirt. He sat up and held Julian close to his chest. Kano's hair started to grow longer and his face became more feminine. He lost a pair and grew a new pair elsewhere (if you catch my drift.) The transformation took no time at all until Kano looked, felt and smelled like a girl. Her voice also got a little higher and she softly spoke into Julian's ear while giving him a nice hug. Its ok, your safe now, I wont let anything hurt you." Kano held Julian like this and even started to softly hum a lullaby, the same one that his mother used to sing to him and his sister when they were young. Kano cradled Julian like this for a few seconds before looking up at Ryllian. "I dont know love. I was wearing a gas mask at the time so everything was hard to hear at the time. How about after this little one calms down we go find out?" Kano continued to hum to Julian and rock him slowly.

Cassius Crocius





Cassius sat near two kids, with one ear bud in his left ear. With his right ear he overhead two kids talking about fireworks and pranks. It all sounded like a lot of fun, and definitely something he'd like to be apart of. Practical jokes were his favorite, and no one got a bigger kick of them than him. He had some pretty funny things to add as well, or at least in his opinion. Due to his bubbly nature he had no problem approaching the boys.


"Hey guys, I overheard you talking and I'm so in!" He practically blurted out and gave them both a big smile.


He was brimming with excitement as this was only his first day and he already found some mischief to take part in. He wasn't a bad person, but a little trouble making was good for the soul now and then. Everyone needs a good laugh right?

Alice decided to read later and had put her book away. She was walking around campus trying to find something else to do when she over heard some guys talking about pranks. She turned and looked over their way and stood there thinking. She didn't have anything else to do. She walked over to them and crossed her arm. "Well finally looks something fun is going on here. Des smiled at him and nodded "you really do know your stuff. Yeah, Shara's really caring and a big fan of dogs. Plus she'd help any injured animal wolf or not." Des was extatic he was ready to bring on the turmoil. He would need a distraction to get things ready, but he was sure that he could find one in time. "Alright, thanks Ken. This is just what I needed to get back in the game." His phone beeped notifying him that he had a message. He put the phone to his ear and listened to the message. He smiled and put The phone back in his pocket. Then others came up to join the party. He smiled and crossed hid arms. To think what i need apears begore me in bulk. I am lucky. "This is exactly what I needed reinforcements this will be amazing." Des turned to Ken "you know your job, I got these guys. Oh and thanks Ken."


Then he looked at the others "alright you guys, tell me your abilities and if you're interesting I'll let you join.

Ken was currently pacing back and forth in his room as he waited for his little friend to be finished with his mission. "So how should I go about this? I can easily pick pocket her, but I've noticed whenever we bump into each other she instinctively checks her pockets, which is kinda hurtful. Sure I pickpocketed her a few times, but still. Right don't go off track. Op what about the broken wing trick? I change to my crow form and pretend to be injured, when she get's close enough I attack her and take the disk. Or we can go for the injured dog, where I pretend once again to be injured she come over to help me and you steal the disk, and then hide. Damn it I have so many good ideas." He shook his head before falling onto his bed with his hands out stretched. He laid there a bit before something crawled up his hand and made it's way to his face. He didn't bother to move or anything as the small creature went to his ear. He listened and nodded. "Got it chancellor office. Ok Op we need to wait till she goes outside." He then got up and picked up Op and made his way outside.

Ryllian saw as the newly transformed girl comforted the newcomer and felt a little awkard because of the entire scene, he still wasn't sure about how things had end up like this and was now seriously considering just walking away and looking for someone else who could give him the info he wanted. Kano has always struck him as odd and as someone who he'd rather stay away from, it's not that he disliked him, but Kano was one person he'd never give his trust to, he was too...changing so to speak, not only physically but also with his mood, Ryllian never seemed to know what was he thinking, or she by all it matters.


However, he didn't want to spend more energy unnecesarily so he just sat down on the floor and waited for it to be over, after a little while he asked "Well Kano, while you're comforting that guy can you tell me if you know anything about what happened?", it was unlike him to take an interest in this but now that he had he couldn't stop until someone explained things properly, he was itching with curiosity now.

Cass smiled. "My abilities are pretty cool! See?" Cass reached out and touched the tile floor changing his entire body into tile. "I can do this with any substance, even water!" He loved his powers, and loved even more the fact that he could show them off now without having to worry about ridicule of any kind. He was really eager to make friends here.


"Oh and I can change my limbs to almost any kind of weapon you can think of!" He began changing his arms from axes, to swords, to cannons, he put them both together to form a giant shield, and finally he wrapped up with a circular saw blade. He had been practicing with his abilities alot since he learned that he would be coming here. He didn't have alot of time to master them when he was too busy hiding them away from each other. In the last few months he became extremely efficient with his powers.


"So, what do you think?" he asked eager to hear the boy's answer. "My name is Cassius by the way, but everyone calls me Cass." He said as he touched the girl next to him on the arm to regain his normal skin.
