A mental ability is anything that affects minds, either of yourself or others. Examples would be

• enhanced ability to model and simulate events and actions to create a form of precognition.
  
• Ability to learn anything after seeing it once, such as passwords, skills, and actions
  
• Mind reading, telepathy, mind control, mind possession
  
• Memory stealing/reading
  
• My own which will be heightened aptitude for sciencey things
  
• Enhanced intuition, allowing people to make assumptions and guesses with incredible accuracy, as if they are omniscient
  
• Maybe psychometry?

Anyhow, I have a new character that is non-Gifted but has an artifact (Eliza). All would be well except, I don't plan on allowing non-Gifted characters start with artifacts.


This character will never become Gifted. *gives a pointed look at negativenull* And the artifact is only for protection purposes from other Gifted since she works so closely with them. This character is pretty much there for my own amusement since my other two will be sacrificed to drive plot.


If anyone thinks this is me abusing my power, just let me know your concerns.


Other than that, I may or may not be planning to make a mental Gifted too.

I'm trying to get some requests up at the moment so that characters can start going on quests. Expect them to be there tomorrow at the earliest since I'm pretty tired right now. In the meantime, characters can check out their rooms (would be similar to a nice hotel room), and socialize with one another.

Also, has anyone else noticed a distinct overbalance of Physical Gifts? Looks like almost half the current characters are classified Physical. And we have absolutely no Mental Gifts at the moment. O.o

and on the topic of ETG uniforms: I almost had black uniforms in Gwen's app before rereading Ice's IC post and quick fixing it. Does anyone remember what color they were in old Derika? I honestly can't. Was it even stated?

I would stick with black.

Okay, first off ETG uniforms were most definitely black with gold highlights in Old Derika.
They are now white with black and gold highlights, with increasing amounts of black for the higher ups.


Dcat, I'm making a Mental Gifted soon! Very soon! I noticed the imbalance too and am working to fix it.

Actually, Aaron is one of the highest higher-ups. I'd imagine it's the opposite way around, with an increasing amount of white for higher-ups, and more black on fodder.

I don't really see why ETG would want their grunts to look sinister with the black if they're trying to put up a good face.
