Check out "The Phantom Stranger" first holy shit is it fantastic. Think pulp detective comics meets The Bible. It explores a ton of great dark themes and is less about the big fight at the end and more about Judas Iscariot grappling with the ideas about humanity and God.

I won't be able to post today but most likely tomorrow, I'll also revert Cisco's origin back to the comic book one with Darkseid having invaded or at least attempted to years back. A horizon boom tube explosion would be the source of his powers instead of the particle accelerator exploding.

Actually, Darkseid has not made an appearance on earth thus far in this timeline. We may have plans for him in the future.
