Snare's swift response to the start of the auction brought a toothy grin the the technopath's face, which revealed that he had the worst hygiene, but he still jumped for joy. "8 Million! Do I hear more?!" The Auctioneer was getting excited now, eager to hear the numbers rise and reach higher digits. On the other side of the room, Corvus was dealing with his little mouse problem. People were insisting on violence to teach the man a lesson, but the Ravens' leader was mulling over his options. That was when James attempted to flee. The steps he took across Corvus' web of shadows were relayed to the man like taps on his shoulder and he used them to track the petty criminal through the crowd. His control of James' shadow also helped with keeping track of the man so as his prey began to talk crap about his event, Corvus emerged behind him like death looming over the sick and elderly. His open hand tightened into a fist and once again, James' shadow came alive, this time like a snake as it quickly slithered its way up the man's body. James would be squeezed and his movement restricted. The shadows' hold was so tight that the only thing keeping him standing upright was Corvus' quirk. "That was a interesting trick you did back there, but I believe you may have just used up the last of my patience." The shadow crept up to James' throat, tightening just enough to get Corcus' point across. James' quirk alone wouldn't be enough to escape the binding this time around. "A mouse like you doesn't usually work alone. Tell me, who are you affiliated with?" His helmet tilted to the left just slightly as the Raven eyed his prey. Snapshot's suggestion still floated around in Corvus' mind and it took all his restraint not to string the man up and skin him like a deer.

1672885964945.pngThe sudden collision of a smaller frame into his own didn't weaken Corvus' hold on James, but he did look away from the man to see a fox. He had intended to apologize like any good host would, but then she called him out his name. "Security to my location please." The Skulker Sisters weren't big time criminals, but their quirk made them easily recognizable within this crowd. Someone like Chibi wouldn't have enough money to excuse her foul mouth. "Remove this fox from the market and if her sisters protest, they can follow behind her." Four security guards arrived to the scene with their weapons in hand and their illuminated masks fixed on Chibi. They made a small pathway for the little fox to take her leave and said nothing as they waited. "You'll have one chance to leave quietly, Miss Fox. Otherwise you can join your idiot friend in the dark fate that awaits him." Corvus stared at Chibi through the darkness of his mask.

1672934091245.pngLiquid smirked when Alphonso indirectly approved of her choices and she nodded her head happily. Now she couldn't wait to tell her sisters about the treasurers that she had found. But then the man made a strange request. "A piece of hair?" Her eyes swept up to him as her brow furrowed in confusion and she tried to ponder what the villain might have planned, but that wasn't her job to figure out. She placed her treasures down and that was when she heard Chibi's voice. She sounded angry and that made a smile return to Kaori's face. Whoever was messing with her sister would no doubt get an earful and maybe even a beating if they continued. "One strand of hair coming right up." Kaori rotated her wrist and her arm started to extend. It moved through the crowd at a low elevation, almost sliding across the floor, but when it reached the ankles of a random woman, Kaori's hand jetted upward and plucked several strands from her head. "Ouch!!" The fox's arm quickly retreated to her body and Kaori held the three black hairs up like trophies. "Can I get you anything else, Al?" She asked softly.

"Apologies sir, but there is a bidding minimum of 10,000 Yen." The auctionner explained to Alponso.

"9 Million Yen!" Called out a feminine voice from the crowd. The price was rising inn leaps and bounds and would soon be too high for most people to continue.

Gabriel's arrival didn't catch Kaori by surprise, but his choice of attire did. Sure this was an island and surfing was popular with a lot of the people, but no one casually walked around dressed for summer all the time, especially not before it had properly arrived. She turned her body more towards Alphonso, physically making it known that Gabriel was not to talk to her. "This guy is clearly off his meds." She whispered before she stuffed the hairs into her boss' pocket.

"9 Million! Do I hear 10?! This bomb is a rare find ladies and gentlemen! Truly one of a kind and not for the faint of heart!" The auctioneer was bringing the bidding to a close for the bomb so it was now or never for those interested in its power.

1672934038273.pngPeople were still arriving to the market, trickling in like lost lambs and getting stuck in the chaos like a moth to a flame. One such person was an unfamiliar face and name, but he seemed to be right in his element as he was granted access to the market and moved around with ease. For now he kept to himself.

Reo saw the situation turn south very quickly, and decided that it was time to step in. When she spoke, her voice easily sounded out over the crowd as she stepped forward, moving those who did not wish to move out of the way. She didn't fully know why she spoke up for the girl, but she felt like something worse might happen to her if someone didn't step in. After all, this lady didn't seem to be the type to know when to shut up.

"Excuse me, sir?" Her eyes turned down to look at him as she reached down, grabbing the girl by her collar and pulling her up to her feet with that. "I don't really know either of y'all, but I overheard this girl talking, and it seemed like something had her distressed. I'm sure she wouldn't have talked to you like that if she was calmer before hand, and I don't think she really did any damage. It wasn't like I ran into you after all." She chuckled as she metaphorically crossed her fingers, hoping that the joke might help lighten his mood. "If you don't mind, would you be willing to let her off with a warning?" To be honest, the girl had some punishment coming, in Reo's personal opinion, but she didn't exactly deserve what this guy might be willing to serve up.

Murasaki hung there helpless until the massive woman set her back down. On a normal day, if anybody but Katsumi scruffed her, she'd beat them senseless. Obviously she'd be destroyed by this brick wall of a person, but that wouldn't stop her from trying. On a normal day. But she'd already royally fucked up and she knew it. She looked at the helmeted man, then at the giantess next to her, then back at the helmeted man. She had no interest in trying the man's patience. Judging by the state of the other guy, Murasaki was way out matched here. And he'd even called security, so who ever he was he was major league. Her ears fold down and her tail drops. "I... But... I just.... *sigh*... Yeah, I'm going... Sorry, you know... for the gesuyarou thing..." Turning to walk out she stops to speak with the woman momentarily. "Hey, thanks, for trying to stick up for me. But I don't want to test this guy further, so I'm just gonna bounce. Probably best for both of us that way. It's fine, I'm used to this kinda thing happening." As she begins to walk out she salutes the security staff lining her way with an oversized hand. "Easy, boys, not all at once now."

Don Carter

Don quietly observed his surroundings when interacting with the others around him but lets out a small chuckle when he hears Snares response. He shoots back a clever response “If that’s the case then I might be the baddest man here.” as sarcastic as he is the words still come out cold and monotone. Then followed Phantasm which didn't garner nowhere near the same reaction as Don could relate to the last sentence he said but he felt a wave of indifference wash over him and said “ True but what does it matter when your filled with holes“. His monotone voice not helping him come off anymore friendly but being honest he didn’t come for friends. Then hearing the response from the cowboy bunny instead of feeling offended he actually laughed as he may acted confident towards him but was almost falling apart trying to talk to the fox lady in front of him. Now that he actually thought about it the lady hadn't really acknowledged him and vice versa as though beautiful he knew better than to doubt a female villain. He saw from her movements that even though she appeared she was just trying to be friendly had a ulterior motive driving her words as she didn’t seem nervous at all but was put off by an unknown variable. Don now not trying to hold his tongue just said sarcastically “ I bet how could I compete with the original playboy bunny….though you don’t seem so player right now.“ he enjoyed provoking those who seemed to be provoked by him as he saw no interest in anyone here and simply came because this was a place of opportunity.

Don was right as well as when he focused on his surroundings again he heard chaos brewing in the auction house. A small time thief getting caught and a fox lad-girl had ran into the man running the auction and apprehending the thief. Then his senses had him caught an elongated arm slithering across the floor to snatch some hair out of a lady’s head and retract back to a rather beautiful fox lady and what seemed to be her partner which happened to be the man trying to outbid Snare. He smirked under his mask profusely he knew this man would be the lighter as he sat there carelessly not seemingly out of ignorance but because of preparation and completely forgot about the bomb as it only seemed his interference would only hinder the opportunity he had found himself. He then thought of a way to possibly brew conflict and keep the host even more distracted. He dismissed himself from the group with a bow and a surprisingly friendly tone “ As lovely as this bunch seems I’m going to excuse myself for now, stay dangerous and have a good day“ he then turned and despite his large frame moved through the crowd with unnaturally smooth movements. Stopping after finding a rather wealthy looking man he had decided threw a old gum wrapper in the man’s hair and said “10 Million“ loudly but with a higher pitch than normal and pulling out his foreign accent to disguise his voice as the man raised his hand to reach in his hair. He then continued his smooth movements while most eyes were drew to the random man as he started calling out random people in the crowd in blind anger.

He then found himself standing behind a woman surprisingly taller than him and she seemed to be trying to defuse the situation with the host he heard earlier though he’s surprised he doesn’t remember someone who stands out so much. Uninterested though he simply stands to the side as a small fox girl the giantess was talking too walks from around her and droops while being escorted out. Seeing such a bright person in such a dark place kind of confused him but he for some reason felt a slight ping of pity for her and said “
Keep ya chin up kid it’s bout to be a shit show anyways“ despite his words he tried to say it in a more cheery manner to not sound like a damn terrorist about to explode.

He had expected the bidding to be fierce, and in a way it was it's own rush as money started to rack up into lofty extremes. His masked face snapping toward one of the many lurkers at the edge of this foray. One whom avoided his attention, until now. He had expected others to outbid, but one yen was an insult, a challenge. What else could it be?. His thumb itching against the several vials of Trigger lining his belt. He hadn't tasted it's vitriol yet and wanted to see just how far he could push his quirk, but the timing had to be right! He couldn't waste such a prized chemical nor risk the fatigue and pain that comes after. He didn't know who this man was, but there was no better way of finding out then a fight, right?

He ran a gloved hand through his feathered hair and sighed as he was now spoiled for choice, drooping his hand down his mask and looking through his fingers as that pulse started ripple through his eardrums and down his spine. His body aching as tension continued to quake throughout the market. It had been nearly a day since his wires tasted red drink and he could hardly stand it. "So long as it's not one of our own, right? That's the rule" He seethed beneath his mask as his arms dangled to his sides. He knew he should be focusing on the auction; It was why he was here after all...was it really? The price being raised as calls were heard across the crowd, and '10 mil' had become the current bid, what should he do?

His body wanted to move toward that church mouse in the corner, but his mind had cultivated the ultimate display for the bomb despite his distaste of such wide and dull brushes so instead he leveled a gaze through the crowd, toward Alphonso, and once again raised his hand.

"
12 Million" He said; His skin roiling and twisting from the barb wire that was beginning to cultivate underneath it. Those close to him hearing the sounds of creaking and groaning as his body shifted and swayed.

"That's. IT."
1672978588270.png
Those among the Red Rivers number would hear a voice in their head speaking to all of them at once, as slowly a thick fog began to roll through the entire auction, a blue glow softly lighting up the fog, something most criminals had only heard of in urban sorts of legends, being simply called The Aurora. Most of the time, it was the herald for the Ryuiki himself, and low and behold, into the market stepped in a figure clad in pitch black armor with blue glowing sections, and a mane of black hair with blue glowing highlights. He began to look around, looking at Corvus. He took a moment to let his eyes wash over the entire congregation, taking note of everyone around. He began to slowly trudge up towards Corvus, his metal steps filling the courtyard. "Corvus, that is one of mine. I'll pay heavy reparations for the theft attempts, but I'd rather he go unharmed." He began, looking at Corvus with his hands to his sides.

"I had hoped to not show up personally, but I'm afraid that things got a bit out of hand for that." He clarified, crossing his arms slowly, the fog staying through the area, washing over everyone in the congregation like a frigid wind. It seemed like he was looking everywhere at once with how his eyes were positioned on the helmet of the costume, looking directly across to Corvus.

"And yes Snare. Anyone not within the River is free game. But for the sake of my reputation, focus your anger on whoever earned it, not the crowd in general, I already have enough to pay Corvus back as it is." The voice responded curtly and simply to Snares Mind.

1672979589437.png
Meanwhile, with Chibi, across the way there was a man standing there, his hands in his pockets. He seemed a bit lost in the fog, before he turned and his eyes widened, smiling as he approached the guards and two girls. "Ah, hello there! Ms. Reo, have you been getting into trouble again?" He asked, smiling at the tall girl, being only a few inches shorter than she was. He turned to the fox girl near her, humming a little bit. "Ah, and you must be one of the Skulker sisters, I'd heard quite a lot about your group from your sister." He said with a friendly smile on his face, looking down at her with his bright purple eyes. He looked up at the guards, smiling a little bit. "I'll take these two off of your hands friends, I'll keep them out of trouble." He said, smiling a little towards them before looking back to the girls. "You two hungry? There's a Wcdonalds down the street, my treat. I actually had something I wanted to speak with you two about." He said, making his offer towards the two, no malicious intent behind his eyes as he looked at them.

She glanced at Don after what he had said to Chibi, stepping forward a small bit to guard her as she asked, "What do you mean it's gonna be a shit show?" As she asked the question, she felt something that the man in front of her wouldn't be able to predict. Reo brought a hand to the side of her head, banging a hand against her skull to almost get rid of the banging from the mental yell. "Jeez. Sorry. I tried my best to play nice..." Her eyes turned to Corvus as she said, "Sorry in advance..."

Her eyes turned to watch the smoke bellow in, causing her to tap a foot on the ground. It always unnerved her when this type of thing happened, but she did her best to play it off, walking forward and leaning down to whisper to Chibi, "You might want to hold off on bolting."

Her eyes caught onto someone in front of her, causing a mix of a cocky and happy grin to pass over her face. "Hey, Teach! I swear this time I didn't pull any bullshit. I guess it was more I was a bit too heroic for a villain and stood up for this gal." She ruffled the fox's hair, muttering to herself in a voice that was loud enough for Chibi to hear, "Jeez, your hair is fluffy." She looked up at her teacher once more as she said, "Anyways, This girl already ate a small bit, but I think she might be up for more. As for me, I'd love something to eat. The stuff here puts me off a small bit." She stepped forward towards the exit, taking her hand off Chibi's head as she walked forward. However, as she walked towards the exit, she thought over what the man had said to Chibi, trying to make sure what had been said was mentioned to the boss.

As Murasaki headed out, one of the weirdos in the masks she saw by invisible woman's cage dropped a cryptic remark. "Huh? What are you tal-" Suddenly the mountainous woman was in front of her, guarding her from this masked lunatic. Why does she keep interjecting herself on my behalf? I don't even know this lady. Suddenly a thick mist begins to roll in, spreading across the floor with a blue glow. Unsure of what was going on, Murasaki began to panic. "WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS?! I SAID I'D LEAVE QUIETLY!" The woman suggested she not leave, and before Murasaki could respond a man appeared in front of her through the mist. As the man and woman conversed, the woman ruffled Murasaki's hair. "Hey! Hands off, Yama! It's ¥15,000 a pet!" She couldn't decide yet if she liked this woman or not. The man however invited her to the WcDonald's down the street. She looks him over and decides she could take him if it came down to it. "Eh. I could eat. And I ain't sticking around here. Just gotta let my sisters know where I'll be." She flips open her phone and types a message to Katsumi and Kaori. [Hey. Got kicked out again. I'll be at the WcD's down the street when you're done. Bring me something pretty <3] She turns back to the man. "All right, I'm all good here. Lead the way."

Luciano Carmine
1672987901500.png

Behind Snare, a few rows back, a figure stood watching the crowd and auction going. He had made his way to this location from the last remaining intel he had garnered before cutting all his resources off, unwillingly. His family had been mostly caught and everyone was laying low or dead. The young man stared out watching people bid on this device that could, allegedly, level a few city blocks. Seemed like a device his father and family would have either acquired or created. Staring out, his eyes were laid on this one fellow in front of him dressed very oddly. Green hair, lanky fellow, a creepy mask, terrible clothing outfit. Reminded of that one movie The Jester or something, looked anorexic and unwell. But something about him seemed to have garnered Luciano's attention. Whether it be the way he moved or spoke, Luciano's eyes narrowed. He got an odd feeling from him, and it was seriously nagging at him. 12 million he heard, and Luciano decided he wanted this device. Raising a hand, Luciano called out. " 14 million! " Luciano made sure to look at this lanky fellow as he called out loudly. Luciano himself had to be no more than 17 himself, but he talked like he was a adult and had authority. Luckily for Carmine he had his father's money to spend, it was how he got here from Italy after all.

Whoever he was trying to find, he figured buying this bomb would be a suitable gift for the man he wanted to meet, the one that could get his father out of a high security prison. The leader of this Red Rivers family. His intel was shaky at best, but it was better than nothing. And Luciano was desperate, no one else would have the balls like this Red River family to help him out, and Luciano could cut a good deal with them as well. Hopefully. This was a fool's errand and possibly a fool's end for Luciano, but he was desperate. Desperation made a man and kid with a barely controllable quirk dangerous.

James panics for a moment, struggling again the restraints, having not planned for this "Aren't you a gifted one, wonder if you'd still have that same tone of voice if you weren't a cowardly little sneak" He spoke through gritting teeth and a tight throat. James began calming a bit with the arrival of Ryuiki, knowing full well if he made it out of this he still wouldn't be out of the frying pan so to speak. "I only took little things here and there nothing big."

Phantom Fox
sample_199ca94c9378105de6f18285b88286e03c882982.png
"Lucky?" Phantom confusedly repeated the name, tilting her head to the side slightly. "Hm, not quite the villain name I was expecting, to be honest." she openly admitted. Most villains tried to have a bit of an intimidating or mysterious aspect to their alias. "Still, I think it suits you better than anything else." She said as she looked over his outfit again. "It's cute. If it's accurate, I may have to keep you around, too~" with a smirk, the rabbit's nervousness made her feel mischievous despite the situation.

"As much as I'm inclined to take you up on your offer, I don't believe my employer would be pleased if I abandoned my job." Phantom said with a resigned sigh. "Even if it'd be rather understandable." She felt the need to add as she glanced at Snare. Somehow the man managed to keep himself contained despite becoming noticeably more irritated with even more bids being placed. "Though it seems you don't mind, it'll keep yours happy too. Nobody said we can't take a step back until it's time for the part of the auction I'm interested in, though."

As Phantom was considering how to stay occupied until then, a mental yell resounded in her mind. It was the familiar voice of her boss, and he did not seem pleased. Fortunately, the all too well-known mist that accompanied him was not coming towards her, but in a different direction. It seemed to be one of her. Fortunately, it appeared that she would live another day as the mist was centered in another location, and the man's dreaded figure did not appear in front of her. At times like this, she was thankful she bothered to wear a mask, unlike her sisters. Luckily, she still had an amusing rabbit to keep her distracted and occupied as she didn't want to go anywhere near an upset Ryuiki.

Soon after, she got a text from Chibi saying that she somehow managed to get herself kicked out. Thankfully, it didn't seem she faced any issues based on how carefree she acted, even asking for souvenirs. "It looks like my other boss has just given me another job we can handle in the meantime." she chuckled. "You, good sir, have the sacred duty of helping me pick out accessories suitable for only the greatest of beauties. I think this should suffice for that date you've been so eager for." she teased Lucky

For whatever reason, Lucky seemed to have some aversion to Phantom, and he was pushing himself to talk to her. This made her feel comfortable enough to flirt with him teasingly. Usually, she wouldn't be comfortable with going anywhere near the concept of a relationship. She had enough to worry about keeping her and her sisters afloat. This was one exception she allowed due to not feeling like it would develop any further. Proceeding towards one of the nearby stalls, she playfully tapped his cheek with her tail as she sauntered past. "Most are charged for this opportunity and that feel." she added with one last look back before proceeding.

Alphonso H. Sabater
Indeed, there was a lot to expect here, but this? Deceptively nondescript, shaded in all the nonchalance and galvanizing with all the confidence he heeded to approach Alphonso. Crediting the male wasn’t something he was going to do, but did so with a small angle of his jawline, sweeping over his profile. His attention was fragmented between the market and his student. If she attracted someone’s gaze. Al wasn’t about to police that either — even if a small crease folded into his gaze and compressed his patience with it. He summoned his composure back, slotting his index finger and thumb around the cigarette, elongating a long wheeze in the ‘angel’s face’ and tilting his expression. “I don’t know,” Al answered this time in a sharp voice, intending to cut the conversation down and shred that amongst the shards of his own self-reflection. Little flaky pieces, glittering on the floor with no remorse. What he would have done, usually, align himself with no opportunities for villains to approach. “I am feelin’ nice for once, what do you think about those items? Interest portrays the character, a bomb of that magnitude wouldn’t square up with a nice finish. Destruction. You can tell a lot by that.” He motioned with his hand, rather vaguely in a direction, but the point was made all the same. “Impressions go a long way to attracting business.” He mentioned to himself more than the ‘angel’, maybe he hit a branch on the way down or hill. Even so, Al reached over, aiming to pluck a strand from the villain.

Predictably, his bid was no longer in the running but attributed the action as a success. It allowed something else to take his foundation and saw his student returning. She did splendid work, as always, exemplary to his cause, and her own — pride elevated his chest. It rose, thick with tension, corded at her brilliance before tentatively loosening his lips at her voice. He tucked one strand into his pocket, if he got two, both would be tucked into his jacket. “You can get yourself whatever you want on my dime, maybe the stranger here might have something interesting to add to that offer?” He handled coldly, straining another blow to his lips, watching as the ash fell to cinders. Bright before dispersing into an inevitable end.

It seemed the auction for that item was coming to a close, his hand ceased altogether with any impulse to bid further and his gaze landed on Snare. It moved to the recesses of the crowd. He acknowledged silently that Kaori wouldn’t want to spend her time with him (old and outdated). It was known to him on several levels that his personality didn’t match up to the tendencies of a young teen woman and thought she might be missing her sisters. The notion hit him in the chest, wrapping an arm around her neck, bringing his mouth close to her ear. “Stay safe, if you run into trouble, drop my name.” Villains shouldn’t care. Yet his mortality shone through in a small crack. Prevailing cooly in his voice, dispatched with a hint of concern which fluttered around the word ‘his name.'

Lucky
1673054427441.png
As the insults continued to keep coming to Lucky, he turned to the one who joined in the latest, seeing Don turn his back as he raised his arm towards him, silver strands beginning to pour from his hand and wrist, forming a massive gun in his hand, his eyes staring at the retreating form of Don. He let out a slow breath, holstering the massive pistol, before his attention was drawn by the mist rolling through the entire market. "Aw shoot, somebody musta messed up real bad. He's here." He said, his ears flicking around as he shivered a bit from the feeling of the mist washing over his body. Wherever the big man was, Lucky would rather not be.

However, his nerves only got worse once the fox woman spoke, his ears shooting up from the relaxed position they were, turning towards her with his eyes shaking a bit. He forced a smile, trying to come off confident towards the fox woman he was trying to speak with, unaware she was misconstruing his intent with approaching her. Then again, everyone but him thought that was what he was trying, as naïve as he was. "Heh, well, I never really thought ta name mahself, but folks called me that cuz of how many times I'd get out when I prolly shouldn't have." He admitted with a chuckle, until she said her statement about it being true or not, where his face adopted a faint tinge of pink. He was a little speechless for the moment, having not expected that kind of a response. He in fact froze up a little bit, his eyes practically becoming hearts for a moment, before he shook it off, quite rapidly in fact.

He listened to her go on about the offer and not being able to accept it, nodding a little when she looked to Snare. "Yeaaa, he's the most messed up piece a' pork in the whole darn combine." He said, saying something that likely didn't make much sense to anyone but him. "D-Date? W-Well shucks ma'am, I wasn't lookin' fer all that, see I was just...uh...." He tried to explain the situation, but gave up halfway through since there wasn't really much way to explain that he was trying to talk to her because he was scared of her.

His eyes widened as he trailed after her after the tail caressed his cheek, almost entranced before once more he shook himself free of the charm, pounding his face a little with his palm.
"C-C'mon Lucky, you know you can't fall fer anyone's wiles. The only thing that matters is what you want, anyone else is just distractin' ya from what yoo want." He scolded himself, his accent even thicker than usual, before he glanced at her retreating form. "W-Well, maybe just a little bit of time couldn't hurt." He said, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly, before running after the sultry fox womans form.

The large man before Gabriel was rather distant. It was evident in his curt responses and body language. In fact the man, who was no doubt a Villain of of some kind, barely acknowledged Gabriel. The underdressed young man of constant cheer of course took it all in stride. His aloof stance never waning and a smile ever etched onto his face. The hand which had been left without a proper greeting dropped without worry. The lack of being returned the courtesy of an introduction was dealt with as if it hadn't been something that would have disturbed a mans first impression. In fact the only thing that seemed to shake Gabriel was the unquestionable spurning from the fox eared girl at the well dressed Villains side. Leaning against his surfboard his head slumped in despair, but he managed to morosely raise his head. Just as a puff of smoke was blown directly into his face. Immediately the young Villain started coughing, his surfboard slipping from his grasp and clattered to the ground. "Ugh, *cough* you know those are bad for you right? Ya gotta *cough* consider your health man." Waving his hand in his face to dispel the smoke Gabriel didn't seem angry. His immediate reaction being to implore the man to take care of himself.

Unbothered by the young mans plight the older Villain finally answered him, before positing a question of his own while revealing nothing of himself. "What I think?" Bending down he picked his surfboard back up as he considered his answer, gaining a thoughtful expression placing his hand to his chin. "Well I mean... a bomb isn't really my style. Its not cool at all, and I ain't some kind of killer, that ain't right. I may be a villain but my mother raised me right ya feel me?" Gabriel seemed to be seriously considering the question, while his style of speech didn't lend itself well to these sorts of conversations he gave it his best. "The blueprints could be useful I guess, though I've never used one before so It'd probably be a waste on a guy like me!" At the last part he chuckled finding some kind of humor in the statement.

Then all of a sudden his flippant expression drained from his face. Being replaced with an intense one. "That invisible chick though, it ain't right that she's trapped here being sold off." While his eyes were hidden behind the dark sunglasses upon his face it was evident the look in them would be full of righteous fury, and the rest of his face twisted to follow. "A woman's not property you gotta earn em right not treat em like cattle. If I were stronger I'd storm down there and break her out dammit!" Gripping his surfboard tightly in anger he sneered towards the auction area, only to drop it before slowly looking to the older Villain next to him. "Oh uh, but please don't tell anyone here I said that. First time an all don't wanna get kicked out. Oh! You think if I save that babe she'll go on a date with me!?" Just like that his fury at the situation was quelled by his lecherous desires. Briefly forgetting the conversation in favor of whatever scenario he let fill his head. So wrapped up Gabriel was he didn't notice a hand reach over and pry a piece of hair off his head before it wase12abe34c6f91f39dba0645f7b7b508b6dcffb02.png already done. "Ow! C'mon man that hurt. So what I was maybe having some desires doesn't mean I'm not a good guy ya know. You're a guy you understand right!?" Mistakenly he interpreted the act as chastisement for his selfishness.

Above the market, as high as the space would allow. Lied a dark infinitesimal contraption. It hung upon the air under its own power, surveying all that lay before it. None escaped its gaze, from the very face of a woman as she examined a peculiar item, to the auction hall from which Villains from all around made their business and excitedly bid. All was observed with unerring accuracy. For the briefest of moments it saw a conversation being taken on by an animated young Villain and a older much more restrained Villain. Its sight bore witness to even the moment a strand of hair was plucked. Then its omniscient gaze was elsewhere. Then it was obstructed it was only for a brief moment as it changed the way in which it observed the world, but the mist had come and clung to the entire market all the same.

Gabriel rubbed his head where his hair had been stolen. The young man took great pride in his hair, his greatest fear being losing it entirely. Present company seemed wholly uncaring of this plight however. Upon hearing himself being addressed Gabriel ceased his fretting to look over with a questioning gaze. At first he didn't understand what was being said or implied by the older mans offer to the fox girl, but from the slightly expectant look Gabriel managed to put two and two together. "Well if the lady would have me I'd be glad to offer my resources to a fun outing." He spoke overly formal, for him at least. All the while brushing his hair and smiling, showing his bright teeth to Kaori. "Its my first time here ya know? Maybe it'd be a good time for both of us to get acquainted with the market yeah?" Lugging his board he snapped his finger shooting a finger gun at the young woman, if his eyes weren't covered he'd probably wink too. Then he startled, "Hey is that...normal around here?" A mist rolled into the market covering all. Even from their position he could see the large intimidating figure that dominated the auction hall with its presence. Gabriels mouth hung open as he stared. "Woah thats heavy... so uh, still wanna hang out?" Despite the situation he still had his eye on the "prize" so to speak.

Legacy
(Johnathan Alasso)

Mentions: Garbage Pail Kid Garbage Pail Kid (Snare)
After a little more observation, Legacy decided he had indeed found his man. He had temporarily stopped his observations of Snare to instead observe those around Snare, and what he found thrilled him. Other criminals seemed to be filtering away from him. Those who didn't seemed uncomfortable being close to him. Those he spoke to? Well he wasn't quite sure what some of them were thinking but he was positive from his assessment that they didn't like the man at least. Another positive was that Legacy was pretty certain Snare hadn't spotted him observing him so closely. So perhaps he'd be able to take the man a bit off guard with his questions. He sauntered forward with all the subtlety of a boy who had found what he was looking for. He dipped and pushed past folks to make his way forward to the man. He got close enough to him to be able to speak at an even tone and him be able to hear him. The boy seemed oblivious to the menace he approached so casually. He simply stuck his hand out to the man as he approached. "Snare correct? The name's Legacy, and I have a question or two if you wouldn't mind."

Corvus
1673132107394.png

Corus eyed the two woman, the larger one was certainly not one of the Skulker Sisters, but he didn't care about that. Slowly his gaze turned from the two of them as his guards started to escort the women out. His attention finally returned to the thief, who it seemed no one was coming to rescue. That was when a familiar quirk activated and Corvus turned his body just enough to glance in the direction of the entrance. He could see the blue glow getting closer and closer and knew who it was that was putting on this grand spectacle. "So this mouse belongs to you?" Corvus asked as he spared a brief glance back at the little mouse. He paid no mind to James; comments and taunts because now the little thief was even smaller in comparison to the key players in the room. "Your little thief has tarnished my market's reputation and my name as a result." For a moment the shadows tightened around James, a reminder that he was still prey and only lived because by Corvus' grace. "Keep your trinkets close and I'll send you the bill." The Raven leader flicked his wrist nonchalantly, throwing James towards Ryuiki. "And get rid of this fog." He commanded before he turned away from Ryuiki and started back towards the auction stage. Money and old promises had saved James' life this time, but now Corvus was in short supply of mercy and any future irritants would find themselves cut down without warning. Don would not see his eyes cut to him, but hi words had garnered Corvus' attention. He had a market to run and start back up however and wouldn't waste his words on the man when his quirk alone could permanently silence him. No, he'd use the man as an example instead if he tried to make this show go to shit.

The fog had stopped much of the action in the market, so Corvus climbed back up on the stage. "Ladies and gentlemen, we do apologize for the sudden fog. We are taking care of it momentarily and the bidding will be back on in full swing!" He promised with a cheery tone.

With the last bid having been the 14 Million, the auctioneer rushed to the edge of the stage, eager to get the ball rolling again. "Sold! for 14 Million to the young man who....was over there, but I can't see anymore." He peered in the direction Luciano had once stood and tried to find the young man among the crowd and fog. Behind the auctioneer, the technopath was elated, practically jumping with hoy at the possibility of having made so much money from this one product.

1673199916840.png"Next up is the blueprint!" Then a palm slammed into the auctioneer's face as a woman in red climbed up onto the stage with the blueprints firmly clasped in her other hand. She carried herself with dignity and confidence as she strode to the center of the stage and thrust the cartridge with the blue prints into the air. "I'll make this quick. We're starting at 20 Million Yen." The wide brim of her hat cast a shadow on the woman's face, but any villain who had dealings with the government would recognize the woman and know her by her villain name; Taichou. It was rare for the woman to be seen in the Japanese underworld as most of her time was spent working within the military. But every now and then she showed up to sell some genius secret. "These blueprints are to the american military bases stationed in Okinawa. With them you could easily gain access and maneuver through the buildings with expert knowledge. Weaponry, vehicles, and other gadgets are ripe for the taking." She playfully waved the blueprints around. "So who wants 'em?"

Right away groups started to form within the crowd; villains and criminals trying to pool their remaining money, trying to find trustworthy partners. The auctioneer, now recovered from being thrown about by Taichou, returned to center stage. "You heard the lady, this is prime insight! Let's get bidding!"

1673200741371.pngKaori's ears twitched when Alphoonso closed the distance between them and whispered to her, suggesting that she should go spend some money and enjoy her time at the market. She shot the man a curious look, wondering just what he was up to, but didn't want to draw too much attention to whatever it was that he was planning. This surfboard guy looked capable enough and like he might be some fun. "Alright surfer boy, but you're carrying my stuff." Her arms stretched down to grab the crate of stolen goods she had already purchased and she held the crate up for Gabriel to take. 'What're you wearing by the way? Aren't you freezing?" She asked as she started to walk into the crowd. Her large white tail wrapped around her waist as they moved through groups of people who were chatting about the blueprints being sold on stage.

1673200849128.png
While most people seemed distracted by the fog and then the bidding starting back up, one man had his eyes on a constant swivel. For a while they were fixed on Corvus and Ryuiki, observing their interaction and reaction to one another's presence in the market. They seemed...respectful of one another if nothing else. Then there was the woman in red who, if she could be believed, was selling some pretty confidential intel. There were a lot of familiar faces in this underground shit hole. One face more familiar than others was that of Alphonso who seemed to be staying out of the way, just like the mystery man was. He watched the villain from across the room, blending in with a group discussing the blueprints.

Phantasm
Chou Ayumu
IMG_5540.jpg

Well, Don and Lucky may be fairly boring to talk to but the newcomer Gabriel seemed like a lively fellow. Before Ayumu could get a word in though, the man was already gone, off with Alphonso towards the back. He kept an ear on the auction. After all, he still needed to pay attention so he didn't miss the item he was actually here to bid on. It wouldn't do well to come back empty-handed. When he saw the fog, he knew what it was immediately. It was the Herald of Ruiki's entrance. Things must have really become screwed up for someone if Ryuiki himself had gotten involved and Ayumu sighed to himself. Whoever it was certainly was going to get a scolding and punishments they wouldn't soon forget. Ayumu had trained for nearly a decade under Ryuiki, he knew all too well what happened to those who screwed up which is why despite his normal demeanor, he kept himself in relative check for this event. Deciding he best keep a leash of sorts, he moved through the crowd to find Snare. The man’s blood thirst was practically palpable and he was easy to spot. “Best behave or the boss will be picking you up next you know.~” He teased, knowing full well how dangerous a man Snare was but who was Phantasm if not someone who continuously pressed his luck? Being a Red River meant Snare wouldn’t do much to him.

Luciano Carmine

Luciano looked up at the stage from the strange man in front of him, seeing he had won the bomb, Luciano took a deep breath and sighed one of relief. Well... There went the rest of my money. The kid shook his head for a moment, but this bomb would be the perfect gift for this big baddy. Be an interesting ticket for his way in, it would all be worth it for his father to be free. Hopefully. Then after that the plan would be to free his father from this high security prison where they housed big villains at. Luciano barely had much power over his own quirk, he had it, but he couldn't utilize it fully. In which he resorted to weapons; shotguns were his favorite. Nothing else like using a shotgun, having this power in your hands. Luciano moved from his seat and moved forward a few rows to be standing beside Snare. " Look at that. A bomb worth 14 mill yen now in my hands. " Luciano looked over at Snare, his own eyes were cold and dark but still had a fire in his pupils. " You had a good run there. " Luciano stared Snare down, looking him over like he was assessing him.

Ryuiki.
1673475163228.png
Ryuiki caught his employee from the throw, scoffing a moment. "The fog remains while I do. However, I will concede some of it's volume." He said, extending his hand as wisps of fog began to gather into his hand, forming into a frozen gauntlet around his hand, simply walking around for a moment. "I will be out of your hair when the invisible girl is sold, she is the only thing I am here to purchase." He said simply, crossing his arms and walking into the auction floor where the bidders were, a chair made of ice appearing behind him as he simply sat down, his arms crossed and one leg over the other, with a thin mist purveying the entire market place. He did decide to have a little fun, looking at the nearest villain to himself, simply smirking. "You buy anything interesting yet?" He asked, glancing at whoever the nearest villain to his new seat was.

However, now was to address his minions, with a simple mental message being sent to Phantom Fox. "I am dealing with purchasing the invisible girl myself, by all means, go have fun with your rabbit." He transferred to her, his eyes looking towards the auction hall. He had no care for these blueprints, but he was annoyed that they had to happen before the purchase he intended to make. He then begin to idly look around at the minions he had around the market. "Don't worry James, the cost of whatever was stolen will be easy enough to cover." His next step was to address Snare, as he simply shrugged. "Temper Snare. I am still hoping to purchase something, so don't get me involved with a war with the Free Ravens. We'd win, don't get me wrong, but it would be a nuisance."

1673508155093.png

James brushed himself off, annoyed with the new circumstances, he sought out a familiar face, being sure to keep himself unnoticed by most of the guards within the crowd. finding snare, Legacy and Phantom he let out a sigh "I haven't been paying attention what's the bid at?" He said this not knowing of the tension building in Snare. "Swear these guys get less fun every minute I stay here" He was speaking of his earlier cause commotion a little sad he wasn't allowed to have a little fun with Snapshot.

Gabriel expectantly stared at the fox girl, whatever effort he had made to not seem wholly invested in the idea of a "date" with a girl was gone now. Despite his generally fit stereotypically masculine appearance, her had none of the stoicism. Just about all his emotions were on display and his heart was ever on his sleeve despite his best interests. From how he dressed, spoke, and acted it was like he maneuvered the world with a child like earnestness. So when he heard Kaori's somewhat reluctant answer, he hung his head low in disappointment. "Yeah, I understand thats alr-... wait really!?" Then came to the realization she had actually accepted. His mouth agape Gabriel tackled with this information his mind jumping between thoughts rapidly as it dawned on him like a revelation. Pumping his fist in the air a wide smile graced his face, "YES!" It may have bee the trick of the light or perhaps wishful thinking, but perhaps in that moment, a single tear fell down his cheek. But the truth would the truth would forever be a mystery to the wider world.

Suddenly realizing how much he could be embarrassing himself, and losing any points he may have gotten with the fox girl. Gabriel coughed into his hand awkwardly gaining a serious look upon his face as if he hadn't been so emotionally exuberant a second ago. "Of course! As a gentleman I'd happily help with carrying a ladies belongings." Now gaining an overtly helpful and "gentlemanly" flair Gabriel moved to grab her stuff. His eyebrows raised however as he watched the Villainess' arms stretch and grab a hold of the crate before depositing them into his waiting arms. Letting out a low whistle, he was wholly impressed by the display of her Quirk. Grunting slightly he adjusted himself to the weight and hefted it with relative ease. He soon saw the fox girl walking off ahead of him into the bustling crowds of the market, with a pep in his step he followed behind. Not before turning to the stoic Villain they were leaving behind and giving him a wide grin and a thumbs up, mouthing the words "thank you".

Above the Raven Market the machine remained. It watched over the market performing its purpose without erring. It was designed to be its masters "eye". It was made by a great mind, for a simple task. Watch, observe, pinpoint. The auction hall was its target, but it was one of many. With its compound lenses it could watch multiple things at once. And with its variety of vision types from infrared, electromagnetic, and even thermal few things would cloud its sight. Though, the mist which spread upon the market proved to be one of the most difficult to pierce besides solid matter. But it could manage. There was a connection, a signal to its eyes and displayed upon them was the objective of the game. A distortion materialized at the discreet plucking of the strings of power. With but the slightest of commands the world was warped. First went the blueprints disappearing from the hands of the Villain "Taichou". Then the bomb, so recently won by the young Italian "Luciano". These two items vanished from their would be owners. Or rather, they were stolen. All that was left in the wake of their leaving was a card. It was strangely large while still fitting within the grip of the hand, and was fashioned from a weighty shining metal. Etched upon the cards in crimson, these words were written. "It is with great honor and gratitude, that I inform you of this humble servant representing freedom and dishonesty. Has done away with your prized possessions. If you would find yourself attached to these items, whose absence you cannot bring yourself to bear. I of amicable spirits am happily open to negotiations with you as to the return of said items, for an agreed upon payment we may both find contentment in. If no such correspondence is made within the next 24 hours I will assume you at ease with my new ownership." - Phantom Thief Lupin II Arranged on the back of said cards was, brazenly and oddly enough a number to a phone line!

Keeping close behind the fox girl Gabriel carried her box all the while engaging in conversation. At her question to his bizarre choice of outfit. He was strangely silent almost as if he was preoccupied with some other engagement of the mind. Before perking up as he seemed to finally process her question. "OH you're talking about my sweet digs? Well its about branding you know?." Freeing his hand briefly he jabbed a thumb at himself offering his trademark bright smile. "I'm a Villain right, or I guess WE are villains. And people are gonna expect us to be all dark and foreboding or look kind threatening yeah? Well not me. I'm not the kinda villain thats supposed to be scary, ya see I want fans. I want people to hear about me coming to town and getting all excited!" Gabriel nodded to himself as a kind of passion showed itself. "I want to throw a big show that everyone will enjoy, and let em know that while I'm a villain I still like to have fun and got my own values ya know? And besides, teach told me all about how for heroes and villains symbols are important, gotta rep your colors and show what you're all about in everything you do. And whats more cool and fun that a man of the sea!" Gabriel went on and on the simple question having been a proverbial landmine when it came to a topic he cared about, or perhaps thats simple how he was with all the things he spoke of. "Plus, Gabriels the Angel with power over water so this look works out great for me. Pretty clever huh?" He seemed almost smug as he explained hise12abe34c6f91f39dba0645f7b7b508b6dcffb02.pngnamesake, proud of the association he had made with it. Then he casually noted, "But yeah I'm pretty cold. Though no offense but it can't be much better in what you're wearing..." He trailed off realizing he hadn't gotten her name and didn't even know what to call her. Though it was also in part to his words now bringing his attention to her attire, and he was QUITE interested in it. It seemed there were sacrifices made by both Gabriel and the foxy villain for the sake of their style and identity. His eyes now rising to a much more respectable level to maintain his gaze he posited the question, "So what do you call yourself, I mean besides beautiful?" He once again grinned though this time with a cheeky flirtatious lilt to it.

Phantom couldn't help but let out a small chuckle after hearing Corvus apologize for the fog and claim that it'd be dealt with soon. "He can certainly try to get rid of the fog. I believe the person causing it will be far more difficult to deal with, though." She said, having fun imagining how much the Raven Group's boss was sweating with the "#1 Villain" suddenly showing himself. "If he was going to show up anyways, why did he send me? Someone must have seriously screwed up." She wondered to herself, only able to come to that conclusion.

It wasn't long before Ruiki mentally contacted Phantom specifically, though. "How did you...?" she questioned as she checked the surroundings, though not finding anything out of the ordinary. "You know what; I don't wanna know after all." she thought, partially to herself and also to Ryuiki. "Alright, but I want it on the record that I was willing to stay despite Snare and temptations otherwise, though!" feeling slightly insecure about her lack of accomplishments, she pre-emptively made a case for herself. However, this would not stop her from taking the man up on his offer. "I'll stop by later tonight or tomorrow to return the money you lent." remembering the large amount of money she was given, she let her boss know her plans regarding it. She hoped she'd still be able to keep the fun money given to her, though.

Shaking her head to clear her mind of her rather intimidating boss, Phantom returned her focus to the rabbit that she had kept waiting. "Sorry about that; I just remembered something. Give me one moment." saying so, she pulled out her phone, deciding to send a quick text to her sisters. "[It looks like I've had a change in plans. I'll be leaving the market but will be close by if anyone needs me.]" resisting the urge to worry over Kaori, she left the message at that. She chose to leave out the details of where she would be going and what she would be doing for obvious reasons. God knows that her sisters wouldn't let her live it down if they saw the two together outside of this.

"Alright, that should be everything handled." Phantom said as she put away her phone. "Well, it looks like I won't need to worry about the auction anymore. With the boss showing up, it seems like he'll be taking over for me. she explained as she stretched, the stress starting to leave her body after being released. "As much as black market goods have their own allure, I can probably get jewelry cheaper, if not free, somewhere else. I wouldn't turn down any gifts you were thinking of getting me, though~" after saying so, she stepped closer to lucky and paused to watch him expectantly for a moment, tails swaying in amusement.

"Alright, I'll stop teasing you. I don't actually expect you to go out of your way for anything here. I'm not that awful." with another small laugh Phantom pulled back from Lucky before she gave the poor thing a heart attack. "If the offer still stands, I'm willing to try this Anotonio's. Pizza wasn't exactly the first spot she'd choose to be taken to, but she hadn't eaten in a while and couldn't come up with any alternatives immediately. "As much you seem to like it, and it won't change how memorable I am, I still would like to change out of this all first, though." she explained, motioning to her villain costume. Hopefully, Lucky would follow suit as she wasn't keen on the looks they'd likely receive if he didn't.

"I'll go ahead and meet you outside once I'm done. After sharing the plan, she split up to find a spot to change. The damned market had to have a bathroom or two that she could use for the task. At times like this, she was envious of her sisters, who could just run around in what was essentially casual wear without any worries. At least she attempted to hide her features, so they were less likely to be tracked down. Unfortunately, there were only so many fox quirks in the world that had two tails and lived in this area. It was the principle of the matter, though, and she felt cool on top of it. Once she finished, she made her way out toward the exit.

Snare had expected to be much more angry about being out bid since he come up with the most marvelous plan for the explosive. It would have made an excellent start to career against heroes proper, but instead, he was fascinated by the winner. He had seen many cops look at him helplessly as he escaped the many scenes he left in his way. A sense of duty in their hatred of him, yet this was...different. It was a look only a fellow villain could give. He head craned back toward Luciano; Snare's mask making it difficult to discern any facial expressions, but it was almost certainly twisted in a smile of some kind. "I appreciate that~ I am not much of a betting man, but I definitely see the appeal. I can't wait to see what you do with such a dull brush, right up your alley hmm?" He said, giving Luciano a gentle bow as he had been bested when it came to mercantile wit. It was something Neramo had been teaching, well, as well as he could. The blueprints could be interesting, but this time, he'd wait to see where the bidding goes first.

A delicious chill rolling through his spine as the familiar force of nature that drew him to this insufferable pig sty in the first place, showed up. He even decided to talk to him; a voice in his head that was not his own. But of course, I am not used to large crowds and it's been long enough since my last painting...it's time to find a new canvas. You're right. Crowds are trite these days, I've long since grown from the rural families of four~ My focus is now on more worthwhile targets. Heroes...or villains I find worth the challenge and easel work. His mind an unexpected calm with savage strokes of morbid genius dancing in the darkness within.

"I would say the same for you Phantasm" Snare responded, treating most of the red river members with bemusement and cat-like interest, which was the best they'd likely get for the time. His elbow propping onto Phantasm' head "You only just got scolded for being nosy, yes? I find you interesting when your nosy, perhaps you could tell me more about that one? and perhaps that one?" He questioned, subtly nodding his head to Luciano and Alphonso respectively "I don't want to waste my talent on the blank and boring canvases around us so I'd rather focus my efforts...and I wonder how handsome he'd look with my barb wire through him~" He said, not making it clear which one he was talking about.

"Oh? Questions for me? You're the first to have any for me really. I'm no fool, I know where I stand...so then, what are your questions? I may have some for you in return" He said, looking over Legacy curiously as he got closer and used his hand to turn his head from left to right "Interesting indeed; perhaps you are looking for more than just mundane work?"

Corvus

1673715269493.pngThe was now Luciano's to do with as he pleased and to show his gratitude, the technopath who built it rushed over to meet the young man. "Congratulations on winning the bidding war! The prize will be given to you when you leave the market." The deep voice called out to Luciano, followed by a round of applause. The technopath approached him with a charming smile and nodded his head. "I am glad that someone saw so much potential in the weapon, although i am curious as to what someone so young might have planned?" The man leaned in a little closer, hoping to get a hint at what the little demolitionist might have in store for the world.
If Ryuiki would be staying to spend money then Corvus didn't mind the mist lingering, all that mattered was that his pockets got lined.

1673716564003.pngKaori smiled softly and warmly as she watched Gabriel adjust under the weight of her collectibles. That was when her phone rang and she recognized the Caramel Dansen ringtone as being her sister. Quickly she unlocked the device and read over the message that she received. "Leaving?" Her eyes went up and looked around, but Phantom was already making her move. Perhaps that mysterious boss of hers had given her some orders to follow. She hated that they worked for different people, but Liquid preferred her mentor; a man she knew and could identify.

She continued with Garbiel, putting her phone away and listening to the man as he explained his branding strategy and his goal as a villain. When he mentioned wanting fans, Kaori stopped in he tracks and glanced over her should at the man with a cocked brow. She approached another vendor and leaned on to look at the goods that they had on display.

"Finds from all over, hot stuff, even some from the history museum in China." The woman behind the stall declared as she picked up a hair pin that was covered with gemstones and jewels. She presented it to Kaori as the fox took it into her hands to examine it closer. That was when she heard Gabriel bring up her own attire. "A good criminal uses all their assets and nothing distract a guy more." She slipped the golden pin into her hair her and glanced at Garbriel as her tail came up to lay across her chest and conceal her distracting assets. "How do I look?"

"Like a million Yen." The vendor quickly chimed in. Then both women looked to Garbiel and Kaori wore an expectant expression as her hands held her large tail as if it were a shawl. "Should I->"

"The bomb is missing!" Cried out the voice of on of the Free Raven staff members.

1673720601631.png"My blueprints!" Taichou turned quickly, her head pivoting as she searched the crowd for the perpetrator who had left her with nothing but a metal card. Suddenly the lights in the market started to flicker as red lightning began to dance around Taichou's feet. The lightning cracked and struck the stage, peeling apart the flooring as her anger rose.

With the sudden disappearance of two items of great interest to market's guests, people quickly started to get upset. Anger and frustration became tangible as the villains started to make their disappointment known, cursing and arguing with one another. Corvus approached the stage and looked up at Taichou. He attempted to calm her and promised that they would sort things out. Then through his helmet he passed orders to his staff and as he turned his gaze to Ryuiki the security guards fell in line to block the only exit in the building.

"To our new thief, I will give you once chance to reveal yourself and return the items that you have stolen. There is no way to leave this market without being discovered." Corvus proposed as he climbed up onto the stage and projected his voice over the market. The bomb and the blueprints were both valuable items, but beyond their price, no one would trust the market in the future if there was chaos that went unchecked. "If you do not turn yourself in and we are forced to search for you...then you will beg and plead for death when I do find you." While he spoke, Corvus' shadow network expanded over the entirety of the market, linking every shadow and person, permitting him to track every footstep. He had not sensed any movement near the bomb or Taichou, which meant a quirk was used to steal the items, and it was an impressive quirk.

Luciano Carmine
1673900270211.png

This random teenager stared at Snare with a serious expression, even giving a bow to Luciano made the Mobster want to bring his knee up into his face while holding his head still with both his hands. This man just gave Luciano a unsettling vibe. Almost made Luciano hate him, although it instead made the kid want to know this masked man more. Carmine here was someone who tend to learn more of his enemy before taking them out, to know their routines: who they were, who they loved, what they appreciated, what they did, where they went regularly, who they associated with. So far, he didn't even have a name yet. " Dull huh? I can think of a few ideas of what to do with it. Like placing it under your seat. " His face and tone made it sound like he was serious, but then he began to laugh a bit showing it was just a joke. " Say, friend. " Luciano stated with a loose tone. " What is your name? Perhaps we'll meet again in the future. " He asked with a bit of a smirk on his face. Although he would be cut off by the crazy technophile.

Luciano's eyes looked over to the man, he was taller than Carmine, but Luciano wasn't intimidated and stood up to the strange man that approached him. " Of course, thanks for selling such a magnificent weapon. I hope to see more pieces like it in the future. I don't mind buying more like it. The Carmine Family appreciates purchasing such a lovely weapon. " This namedrop was supposed to show who Luciano was associated with, the Italian Mafioso or The Carmine Family. Although when asked what he would do with such a weapon. Luciano smirked, " We have... Ideas for it. " This next part would be a lie. " Let's just say... UA won't be standing much longer after today. " Luciano smirked. While that was wishful thinking, Luciano's intent was to give it to whoever ran the Red River crew. But then it would be revealed that the bomb had been stolen to Luciano's anger.

He grabbed the Technophile, " God damn it. " He growled looking to the man, " How the hell was your bomb stolen? Actually, where is your bomb stashed at? And from there where does one get to your locked up weapons? " Luciano asked with a growl as he looked to Snare, " You. Could you help me out find whoever stole MY property? " Luciano asked, " I could make it worth your while. " His eyes showed a quiet rage within them, he wanted to find who stole this weapon and kill them himself. " And you, how the hell is your security so damn low or weak? " Turned back to the Technophile.
