Ryuiki looked around at all those who began to panic from the thefts beginning, but Ryuiki was not too terribly concerned. Mere trinkets were not worth his notice, the only thing he was concerned with was the woman in the cage, who he could still tell was there, the fog washing over the cage and keeping it around, as he turned to make eye contact with Corvus once more, his eyes staring over the man. "It's not one of mine, don't bother looking at me." He said idly, crossing one leg over another as he sat in his frozen chair, before sighing a bit. He responded to Phantom in his mind, chuckling a bit with a surprisingly genuine smile. "And for that you'll be rewarded. I give credit where I find it due, and credit is most certainly due for being around Snare."

This whole event was incredibly annoying, as it was holding up the only part of this whole auction he cared about, that being the invisible woman. He began to look towards the crowd, standing up with a roll of his shoulders. He was tempted to do something about this himself, but rather, he simply began to walk up to the two men selling the woman, looking over the cage. "What price are you looking for for the woman? I don't have time for this fiasco to get sorted out, and I'm sure you don't want to wait for your captive to be stolen without someone paying. I'm looking to simply buy her and be on my way." He said to the two men, one hand to his side and the other gesturing to the cage, his eyes staring at the two with his glowing lenses. "I understand the sentiment. And I appreciate the willingness for effort, but you'll likely need to wait until after the auction to go hunting for worthy prey. James has caused enough issue with corvus, and if two of my employees act up here, I imagine things won't be settled so easily."

He figured this was the best compromise, since if a thief was able to steal from Corvus, that was less than none of his concern, and his only objective was to get this woman and her quirk back to his lab. He looked into the cage, his eyes tracking the invisible woman despite her quirk.

There was never an end to the excitement one could had when associated with villains. The one thing he could count on was that they were the more unpredictable between the 'warring' factions in Japan. Snare had a good feeling he could practically foresee any of the drivel Heroes would produce to stay among their ingratiated stations and suffocating success. It was men and women like Corvus, Ryuiki, and Phantom that gave rise to far more interesting plots since he had no idea what roads they walked, and where that trail led, though this latest arrival, was familiar somehow. He gave him a look that he had seen more than a few times, but it usually came from the police officers or bystanders that didn't share his ideals. Eyes of resentment, hatred, vengeance, and violence. It made him wonder if he had taken someone close to this man. The way he spoke only confirmed his suspicions, though they were slightly off base.

It was then the lights shut off.

Snare couldn't help but laugh as it seemed this was going to be quite the evening, and he had been so well behaved! "My name is Snare, and I suppose my chair bomb will have to wait hmm? It appears we have more than a few thieves vying for Corvus' goods" He said, a slight strain in his voice as barb wire coursed and coiled through his body, moving down to his feet before starting to break through his shoes. The man he was talking to asking for help in finding his stolen property, and the one who stole it. Snare giving a bow within the blanket of darkness they were all submerged in. Snare finding comfort in it "What will make it worth it...is getting to sake my appetite" He said. The well of bloodlust within him unearthing like a coffin in a mudslide as barb wire tore from his feet, and snaked across the ground. He kept his master's words in mind, yet Snare did not care for other people's footing so the wire would likely trip a few or cause some commotion as nearly a dozen of these wires grew from him like vile roots. He raised his hands to his ears as he closed his eyes, listening to the worry, interest, and intrigue from the people his wires were around.

He could hear through them and learn so very much if he focused. He listened for panting, running, and anything that would give away the would be thief. A few of the wires reaching dead ends like the stage or walls, and they would continue to grow upwards across walls, and the ceiling. He had malicious intent, but for the time, it seemed to only be directed at this individual and so his wires were tame and acting as his widespread surveillance. Anyone falling or getting hurt on them were their own fault in his eyes.

"Watch your step" He said, both to Phantom and Luciano as he continued to remain statuesque as he focused.

Ayumu sighed. What had turned into a mostly fun trip had turned sour fast. He even almost got to have a fun chat with Snare. Now everything was Hell in a handbasket and the only way he could help would be to make things worse ironically. "Snare you owe me for this one and... Luciano, this is a one-time offer. Once the thief is dealt with and the boss has what he wants, everything will be in order. So, you're going to need to protect me from Snare." He told Luciano. "Not that it should be terribly hard but you cannot under any circumstances knock me unconscious. Do you understand me? That will ruin everything." Two white butterflies appeared on his hand, flying just in front of each of them, hovering in their view. "These will make you immune to my normal butterflies. Don't do anything to them. I'm about to throw this place into total chaos with as many butterflies as I can manage. The Boss is the only other one immune. That should keep Corvus and his men from interfering with Snare's work and stop the thief before he manages to escape."
Ayumu sighed before turning his attention inward. "Sir, I do believe all this chaos has brought the need for a Phantasmal Soirée. I recommend telling all Red River members to sit down and close their eyes lest they be killed by Snare. He has a net spread through the building to find the bomb. I've given him and Luciano each a Butterfly of Truth but a pickup when you're finished would be appreciated." He was detailed, respectful, and to the point with his boss and savior. There was none he trusted more than the man who picked him up off the streets.
With all that out of the way, he was finally ready. "Phantasmal Soirée." A mass number of butterflies would swarm off of Ayumu, beginning to affect every person they could get to, and each one who looked directly at the shifting patterned wings of the purple butterflies for 5 full seconds would see hallucinations and be mesmerized. As for Ayumu, he himself was already afflicted, his mind playing tricks and causing vivid hallucinations around him and as his grasp of reality was lost, his quirk reached its full potential.

Gabriel looked over the market stall curiously. Casting an interested gaze over to Liquid as she perused the shopkeepers wares. If he didn't know this was a Villain market it would give off the feeling of a mall or festival shops. His gaze wandered over Liquids form both trying to guess his best move to endear himself to the Villainess, while also drinking in his fair share of eye candy. Though he was far more reserved about it catching himself from taking anything more than furtive glances. A woman's beauty should be appreciated but not oggled! Such words echoed in his head like the mantra of a monk. He couldn't help but think back to her words of a Villain using all their "assets". Perhaps he was no different dressed as he was, but she was a whole other level compared to him. Gabriel nodded to himself as if coming to understand some profound wisdom.

Liquids voice caused him to focus on the situation, and immediately his mouth hung slightly agape at the change in her appearance. For one her chest was covered! Gabriel gave his gratitude within his mind, with such a great distraction gone he could better focus on all aspects of her beauty. Appraising her Gabriel was in awe, all she had done was put a pin in her hair. But even such a minute change seemed to cause her beauty to shine all the brighter! A manly tear almost shed from his eye. With a grin he thrust his hand out giving her a thumbs up, "Like an angel!" He chuckled to himself a bit at the clever compliment but now he was carrying her belongings with one arm. And the slight tilt and wobble of them caused him to quickly stow away his cheer so as not to drop them. With a sight of relief he managed to keep his grip steady. At the words of the shopkeeper Gabriel couldn't help but adopt a smug look as if he was privy to information they were not. "A million? I think you mean one-hundred million!" If he had the free hands he would have run his hand through his hair like some kind of model in a photo shoot. Before any further response could be made however, indignant shouts echoes throughout the market. From there he could see the auction hall crackle with red lighting and activity. Then the shadows lengthened in and eerie unnatural display, security sprange12abe34c6f91f39dba0645f7b7b508b6dcffb02.png into action around the market. And the loud commanding voice of the leader of the Free Ravens, the Villain Corvus echoed throughout.

Dutifully manning its post, the drone continued its watching of the market. Just as it had been commanded it focused its lenses on particular items and now those lay gone deposited in a spot unlikely to be found. However, the night was still young. And this was just shy of satisfying the whims of the Phantom Thief Lupin II. Its camera focused on a certain spot. There was nothing there, or at least thats how it appeared. Then the spectrum upon which it observed the world shifted and a figure appeared. Fearful, diminutive, caged. 'I'm rarely interested in stealing people. But there is a conduct a gentleman must adhere to, and that value cannot be understated.'

Garbiel blinked owlishly at the happenings around him, taking a moment to understand the gravity of the situation. "A thief, here? Man, guy must be bold..." He tilted his head befuddled at what to make of all this. Gabriel looked over at Liquid with a probing expression, "So what do you wanna do hot stuff? It looks like we're stuck here for a while. We can keep enjoyin the market if ya want! Ah... but the mood is a bit ruined now." He pursed his lips in thought. Unbeknownst to them the situation had well and truly escalated beyond any chance of returning to the cheer of before. Barbed wire snaked through the market, shadows stretched and flickered, and distinct butterflies flitted through the air. At this rate even they too would be affected by the hallucinations that were springing up.

When the lights turned off, Luciano growled as he looked up to the ceiling. God damn it... I'll find whoever did this. When Snare introduced himself finally, Luciano looked to the murderer. " Luciano Carmine, you can call me. You'll be calling me. You'll be remembering it later. " The teen stated similarly to a threat, it sounded non-threatening like a teen with aspirations of glamour and fame. Although it had a sinister feel to it as he directed it in Snare's direction. Luciano could hear a strain in Snare's voice, similar of wire twisting and moving. Then he felt something move by his feet, it sounded like wires twisting. Luciano's eyes nearly bulged out of his head as he clenched his fists, just like that night. All the barbed wire, Luciano was about 80% this was the man that ruined most of his family's businesses. Nearly toppled the Carmine family in Italy. But instead of attacking Snare, which he had a feeling that Snare would have easily gotten the upper hand on him in this situation, he heard this new stranger. Perhaps a lackey begin to talk to him.

Luciano heard this man out, who was dressed pretty provocatively in his opinion, spoke of a boss. Which gained Luciano's attention. Then he would ask for protection from Snare, Luciano stared at the barbed wired man, in which he narrowed his eyes. " I can do that. Don't worry. " Luciano stated. Although when he then told the mobster that he could not knock him out, Luciano chuckled. " If you were to be knocked out, trust me. You won't be waking up if that ever was the case. " Luciano welcomed the two butterflies as he held a hand out and the two landed on his hand. Luciano stared at them before looking up at Ayumu, " Do as you need to do, friend. I'll do what I can to protect you. " Holding his free hand out, a glowing formation was conjured and took the form of a small glass like ball with sharp tips around the surface. " This will incase a man within glass if they get too close when thrown. " Luciano handed the caltrop to Ayumu. " Keep yourself safe with this but don't use it too close to yourself either. "

The Technopath was unsure what was going on or how someone could have stolen the bomb, but he had little time to think before Luciano grabbed him and started to shout at him. He could understand the boy's anger though. He'd dropped a sizable chunk of cash on the weapon and apparently had very big plans for it. But he had no answers to give. "The bomb was sold to you so it had to be taken by the Free Ravens until you were ready to leave the market." The inventor explained before his eyes darted around, searching for Corvus among the crowd.

The two men who were in possession of the caged invisible woman looked to one another when Ryuiki approached them with his proposition. They were frequent guests of the market's auction and wanted to stay on Corvus' good side, but this deal would cut out the middle man and doing so in Corvus' own house would sour their relationship with the Free Ravens altogether. But things seemed to be getting out of control here and the two of them wanted to just get their money and go. "21 Million Yen and she's yours." The large man declared as he extended his hand to shake Ryuiki's. "Cash up front of course." The other man added in.

NebulaBlossom NebulaBlossom
Corvus was preoccupied, his mind on bigger matters than Ryuiki's purchases, so the deal would go unnoticed by the host. Then came the butterflies and with everything that was already going on, Corvus stared at the flying pests in curiosity, trying to discern whether or not this was another problem to deal with. Unfortunately for him his curiosity would cause him nothing but trouble as his vision began to wrap and the world changed around him as he fell under the illusion.

All across the market, villains and criminals were falling under Ayumu's spell, their eyes fading as they became lost in the illusions presented to them. People began talking to themselves and some started to walk around as if they were in a totally different environment. Incoherent mumbling and chatter filled the market and the isolated conversations began to get louder.

Taichou was one of the few people unaffected by the butterflies, her wild lightning turned them to ash as they approached her. Her eyes swept over the room, searching for the one who dared to steal from her.

EMIYAman EMIYAman
Kaori was excited by the response she got from Gabriel, but she wouldn't let him know that, not right away anyway. She blushed softly, but didn't make any verbal response. Instead she bargained with the vendor an when they reached an agreeable price, she put the item on Alphonso's tab. She turned back to Gabriel with the accessory now part of her outfit and smiled. "Honestly, I hope it is not me sister." She said with a chuckle. Then the butterflies came into view and her mind started to haze. "We're...great...thieves." The fox's focus faded as she became swept away in the illusion provided by Ayumu's quirk. "Sis." Liquid called with a smile on her face as she started to walk away from Gabriel.

The cage where the invisible woman hid did not protect her from the power of the butterflies and as the illusion started to take its hold on her, the woman's quirk deactivated. She laid down with a smile on her face as if sun bathing and soaking in the warmth. It had been so very long since she was free to feel the sun on her skin.

As the butterflies worked their way through the market, the mysterious guest spotted the invisible woman in her cage. It was time to act. "I have eyes on the target! All units go!" He was one of the few people not swept in by the beauty of the butterflies for his focus was on his task at hand, his mission. And at that command a stampede of footprints echoed through the market, coming from the entrance. A swarm of swat team members charged in with the shields raised, slamming into hypnotized criminals and quickly starting to arrest people.

"This is the Sapparo Police Department!" Called out a large man with the head of a hound. "You are all hereby under arrest for engaging in the sale and purchase of illegal goods!" As he spoke, a small army started to flood into the market, crashing into the guests like waves against a cliff side.

Pinwheel
The man who had mysteriously moved through the market no longer had need for his disguise and in one swift motion he threw away the outfit.

1674419466043.png

"Time to shine!" Pinwheel's hero attire activated now that it was no longer hidden under all those useless layers. "Captain!" His call was responded to with his wheel being hurled through the air, tossed like a frisbee to the hero. He skillfully caught the giant ring, spinning it in his palm. He spared the briefest passing glance at Alphonso, but didn't linger too long. "Ricochet!"

His quirk fired up and Pinwheel hurled his ring at Ryuiki, it smashed into several people, toppling them and knocking them out as it rushed towards Ryuiiki with the goal of doing the same to him.

Ryuiki hummed a little, snapping his fingers as a portal opened at his side, a briefcase being tossed through it into his hand, as he put the briefcase inside the mans hand. "Apologies, but I do not do handshakes. No telling what quirk may activate when you do." He said simply, gesturing to the briefcase. "You'll find the necessary money in there. There is 9 Million extra for Corvus's cut, as well because I was too lazy to take the extra money out. Have a good day gentlemen." He said idly, ignoring the butterfly as he turned to the woman in the case, simply rolling his shoulders as one of his arms suddenly bulged with muscle, crashing his fist into the glass and breaking it, walking in and grabbing the woman.

However, this was when he saw the raid begin, rolling his shoulders as he began to send out a mental pulse to all Red River Members in the area.
"Snare. Do as you please with them. I have other matters to attend to. If any of you truly need I will return." He said simply, throwing the woman over his shoulder, digging his suits claws into her side, beginning to mark her with Eothr. He knew the thief would likely have the audacity to try to steal from him, but this was where there was a difference in intelligence between himself and Corvus. Because Ryuiki marked everything he owned with his quirk, so now that the black fluid was flowing in this woman's veins, no matter where she went he would know. Even without the thief he would do this, after all, why would he let an invisible woman exist without a way to know exactly where she was? It wasn't a tattoo, so it would be a temporary mark, but it would work for the time being until he could tattoo her.

"ShortCut, open a portal, I'm coming home." He said, the mist beginning to withdraw towards him. Normally he would deal with the vermin that dared show up to stop him himself, but at this point, he trusted his employees to deal with them, after all, what was a villain organization without trust? Some shithole like the Free Ravens, that was what.

With his announcement to whoever the mysterious Shortcut was, a blue portal opened inside the cage he held the woman in, as he began to walk through, the woman over his shoulder, her side lightly bleeding from where he injected the Eothr. With the woman over his shoulder, he began to walk towards the portal, his blue glow slowly rising, as he ignored the ring coming towards him, extremely casually simply saying "Snare."

The plan Ayumu had was incredibly beneficial and while his focus was elsewhere, he would remember said debt, professional curtesy. Luciano was a name he did recognize, but kept to himself. He had a good inclination of why the Carmine's son would be 'displeased'. It drained any desire to kill him. He had a feeling old man Carmine played him, just as divisively and that was opportunity. Ryuiki has taught him the value of people and their ingenuity, but he would always find far more value in their deaths. It was a matter of principle. His body rising within the darkness as a thin pillar of wire cultivated underneath him, suspending several feet in the air.

A ripple was sent through his network and sent the sounds of hastened, well trained footsteps lurked within the edges of the market. A shout from within the crowd reaching his ears the same time as his alert did. His entire body shifting toward the nearest voice as his wires started to rattle and creak with growing hostility. Several of the officers stepping over wire and immediately responding in pain from the javelins of metal spearing through their feet in response. [Woeful Web] triggering, and only adding to the widespread panic. I'll keep collateral to a minimum, but I can't help myself against these foolish raid squads and their shining mascot were the only words Ryuiki heard in response.

LadyOfStars LadyOfStars

"The Police are here? and they brought a Hero? Goodness me, good things do come to those who wait!"

The barbed wire that had coiled around where Ryuiki stood seethed and festered before flaring up in front of him and snatching the ring out of the air before it even touched him, the force causing it to spin in place around the spike. "Your fight is with me, Pinwheel. Have you heard of a little rural countryside south of here, Kotohira? It's where my name was coined, Snare, for the results my quirk had on such a secluded hamlet. I have yet to use a hero as a canvas, Let's change that!" There was never a time he loved more than time spent fighting for his ideals. It was where all doubt was settled, and where he was his truest self. Hollow no longer.

His gloves tore apart as he wrung his hands forward and unleashed lacerating whips of barb wire from his fingers tips as [Razor Ribbons] lashed at Pinwheel with a lethal net, his foot shifting and causing the wires along the floor to snap into place with a whirlwind of razorwire at the same time. Snare had some time to steadily cultivate his barb wire and he seemed intent on using it all to challenge himself, and see where he stood against hero society. Laughter seething from his mask as thick wire spooled around it's edges.

Gabriel kept a cheerful attitude despite the the tense feeling growing within the market. Liquid's lack of response to his compliment was a bit off putting; wouldn't be the first time he'd got ahead of himself. But seeing her buy the accessory and show it off with a smile was all the validation he needed. He couldn't help but wonder if he was finally hitting his "popular phase", and might even manage to get himself a girlfriend! Hearing the fox girl mention her sister, Gabriel turned to respond. Likely in a good-natured joke, but whatever he said died in his mouth as the Villainess he had been chatting up just a second ago stared through half lidded eyes. She mumbled her words and seemed to be looking at something beyond him even if her gaze was in his direction. Then almost as if she was sleep walking she began to wander elsewhere. Gabriel stared with his mouth slightly agape unsure what to make of the situation, but looking around him he saw others wandering about in a similar state from the shop keep to seemingly all the passerby's as well. Its like they were sleepwalking. It seemed so sudden, but with their strange actions came the flitting of butterflies. Dozens upon dozen of them in his peripheral alone. They were oddly colored and seemed to glow they obviously weren't natural and were likely the projection of a Quirk.__amakusa_shirou_and_amakusa_shirou_fate_and_2_more_drawn_by_bkhyl__sample-6b2e5b768894dc7460e...jpg

His agape mouth closed into pursed lips. As the butterflies began to approach. Seeking to take hold of his mind as well, they all disappeared. Replaced with pebbles and pieces of gravel that fell to the ground. Reaching up he removed his shades revealing amber eyes. They were piercing and didn't seem to reflect the cheerful young Villain that had made himself known around the Market. High above the drone watched staring directly at him. Then once again he plucked at the strings of his power. Gabriels clothes disappeared, his swim trunks, sandals, surfboard, shades and all. Being replaced with smooth black leather, and red vestments. A suit, crimson tie, and flowing cloak appeared on his person. Standing with poise and a veiled grace was Lupin II. As a top hat and cane rested in his hands he affixed a monocle to his left eye. Then swiped his hand through his hair into a style more suited to his current persona. Placing his hat upon his head a cheshire grin stretched across his face.

Lupin sighed almost theatrically, "Things have certainly got out of hand..." He looked to the still dazed Liquid Fox. Stuck in the midst of her hallucination, however pleasant, she could barely react to reality around her. The Phantom Thief studied her for a moment. As a fellow pilferer of valuables she was still wet behind the ears, but he did have his gentlemanly pride. "Apologies my lady for such bad manners, but this is all I can offer to you." Walking up behind her he struck her in the back of the head knocking her out. Catching her as she fell he gently placed her sitting against a wall, when she awoke she'd once again have her wits about her. If nothing else she won't accidentally get herself hurt without her mind addled by visions. With his dues given he blinked in sequence. Activating the monocle, text scrolled across the surface before giving way to a one way camera feed directly to his drone. Immediately his eyes narrowed as he saw his most valuable quarry sprawled across her cage. Lupin observed as a large intimidating Villain began to take her away. He didn't recognize the figure, but he had kept his ear to the ground before he came to Japan. No doubt it was one "boogey man" or another. The mist that emanated from him narrowed the suspects considerably.

Affixing the drones gaze to the Market worker who had sold the invisible girl Lupin once again used his Quirk. And just like that him and the man had traded places. His Quirk let barely any telling of its use, one moment there was a person then suddenly there was another in their place. The moment he appeared just as the police rushed in and started arresting Villains. Lupin leaped into the air in a surprising display of acrobatics. Placing himself directly in front of Ryuiki. In a flamboyant pose he thrust his cane out as towards the Villain and smiled. Just as he did any of the mist remaining around him disappeared in a circle replaced with clear air. "Good sir I see you tire of the festivities for the night. My apologies, my own failures allowed this situation, had I been a bit better... You'd be empty handed right now. Not to worry however, I will rectify this poor showing of mine. You have quite the valuable there, and this humble thief has quite the interest in it." Lupin held his cane out like it was a sword, and he some great knight of renown. "A duel between gentleman for the maiden. What say you?" Lupin smirked at Ryuiki seemingly unworried despite their difference in build. Whether it was ignorance or unfounded confidence was the question.

Don sat by idly and watched the auction turn into the shit show he had predicted though he was still caught off guard when two items became missing. The blueprints and the bomb had been somehow warped out of there places with it seems ease as the Host seemed to immediately activate his quirk on a wide-scale level and have the whole house enter lockdown. Slightly unnerved by the sudden disappearance of the items as he wasn’t able to really track what happened to them he did see the origin of the distortion as his vision drew him to notice a large distortion over the top of the auction building knowing whatever caused the commotion is not one of the original guests. Feeling a strong paranoia come over him his shadow seemed to become darker and almost as if it was an abyss that stared back at him. Not wanting to get caught up in the mess as now the only thing he had to lose was life and/or limb he casually decided to head towards the exit of the auction trying to avoid all the commotion and escape to the rest of the market if possible but then the lights shut off.

Next thing y’know a full on fight emerged as the police had started raiding the building causing a large scramble slash fight from the police and random hero. Don even though expecting items to get stolen didn't expect a whole police raid. Don clenched his teeth under his mask thinking about the possibility of his items being confiscated by the feds. Don was then brought out if his thoughts by people around in the building suddenly turning into a slight uproar people starting to have random conversations and bumping into others seemingly ignorant of the police. He then saw butterflies in the air and his eyes twitched causing him to blink hard and activate his [All-Seeing Eyes]. The butterflies induces illusions on people? What an interesting quirk Don thought to himself avoiding the battle between snare and the hero he ran to the nearest cop he saw under the illusion and immediately took his gun and ammo on him. He repeated with the two other officers stuck talking to a wall in the room before deciding to go out the front door where the cops were held up waiting for the butterflies to clear up. Armed and a calm bloodlust driving him Don started a counter-assault the police officers that were trying to wait out the butterflies flying in the main hall. Bursting out of the main hall into the hallway he immediately let off two shots on the guards securing the hall. Both guards get hit in the neck and fall over to bleed out a few seconds later. Hearing the yells of the now alert authorities he picks up one of the bodies and starts charging for the door using it as a shield. As soon as they open the door they throw a flashbang but Don charged through it without hesitation and chucked the body at the first person he sees then blinks hard and activates his [Combat Sense] causing his perception of time to slow down significantly letting him slowly spin and get 4 shots in out of the 6 officers in the room before jumping into cover and waiting for the officer to end his fire and peek out at a different angle to take out the officer recovering from the body being thrown and the one providing cover.

Seeing the bodies more closely seems like its mainly swat units now as the officers carried automatic rifles and shotguns which he immediately ditched his standard pistols for one of each and scoured any ammo before finding a pouch of grenades on one of the bodies which he immediately pocketed and jumped back in cover now hearing the next wave of SWAT approaching. He sits patiently behind the front desk with a grenade in hand waiting for all the SWAT to enter the room. Soon as he hears the door swing close he throws the grenade in the middle of the group as he takes aim with the rifle in his remaining hand. Everything starts to slow in Don’s view as the police now realize it’s an ambush they just walked in but it’s too late as they slowly watch the grenade fly dangerously close at them Don lines up a perfect shot catching the grenade mid-air causing a vicious explosion knocking half the guards back outside and some into the closest wall. The group of officers all missing limbs or lined with shrapnel now. Don was able to fall back fast enough avoiding any shrapnel coming at him and quickly checked the two bodies inside before taking a sniping position behind the somehow standing front desk. Patiently waiting for the next wave of police before going out to the checkpoint where his weapons were confiscated as the thought of his treasured weapons being taken without him knowing is enough to make him put holes in everything within his sight.

Ayumu chuckled as he was handed the items in his few moments of clarity. “No no, you’ve misunderstood. I’ll be entirely dependent on you to protect me. I’m afraid I’ll be quite useless.” He had just enough time to hand the items back before he succumbed to his own illusions. His own mind became lost just after and he saw his childhood home. No longer seeing the market at all or the dangers presented, her began to wander inside, the him of the illusion just a small child himself. He entered the building, dropping his school bag on the floor before he ran to the towering figure of Ryuiki. “Father!” He embraced the figure in a tight hug. In reality, he didn’t go far, just aimlessly wandering and mumbling to himself. Still, he was putting himself in danger with Snare’s barbed wire everywhere and now the place was crawling with cops and a Pro Hero even if a decent amount of the police force had fallen victim to his illusion.

Corvus
1675039679939.png

Hypnotized by the butterflies, it was only thanks to his quirk's sensory web over the market, that Corvus was able to wake from the dreaming and fantasies cast upon him. He opened his eyes to find they were under attack, that Ryuiki was making his great escape, and that a pro hero had made his way into the market. "Ryuiki!' He looked to the villain with a glare behind his mask. It was he and his puppets who had started the commotion and thus left the market unprepared for this invasion. The shadow master was about to retaliate when a voice played in his headset. "The market is lost." It warned. Corvus gritted his teeth and quickly turned away from the chaos. "Need a lift lady Taichou?" The shadows beneath Corvus and the woman draped in red opened like black holes and they both began to sink into them. "I will see to it that the person who stole your schematics is found and punished. You have my word."

That promise was enough to calm the red woman's anger and she willingly allowed herself to be consumed by her shadow. Permitting the two to make a smooth escape.

Pinwheel
1675039801361.png

Pinwheel gritted his teeth as he watched his target be protected, his ring stopped midair by a mass of barbed wire. The female officer was his target, but it seemed that he was too far to rescue her, that wouldn't stop him from trying though. Just as he was about to rush forward to engage the large villain, he heard a voice speaking to him and turned to see another villain had set their sights on him. "Great...just what I needed." He turned to face Snare and pulled down his helmet to cover his face properly. For the briefest moment he looked to Ryuiki, but had to put his attention back on the immediate threat. He raised his arms up into the air like a shield to brace against the coming wave of wire and felt it crash against his armor like a truck. He was pushed backward by the force and grunted and he felt the small blades carving through his armor and reaching his skin. "Damn it!" Activating his quirk once more, Pinwheel called his ring back to him, using the most force he could possibly exert upon the gear. As the hero strained, his ring cut through the pillar of barbed wire that had stopped it and hurried through the air back to his side. The giant ring crashed into the tide of barbed wire, cutting through the outter most layer and then dragging the rest of it to the ground to be pinned beneath it.

Pinwheel wanted to charge Snare and knock him out, but he wasn't here to combat every villain that had attended the event. He was here to save an officer. So when the ring cleared him a path, he side stepped the barbed wire and rushed forward. The pro hero moved through the crowd with little care for the people around him or what was happening to the other criminals and villains. "Officer Matsubara!" Pinwheel called out to the woman as she hung over Ryuiki's shoulder.

He crashed into random villains, throwing them to the ground as he muscled his way through the crowd. "Wake up!" He could see Ryuiki was planning to pass through a portal and if he did, they'd lose the woman for good. "Put her down!" Pinwheel through his hand forward and his ring started to spin once more until it leapt out of the ground and was again flying through the air towards the big villain's legs.

Elsewhere in the market, the police were making headway thanks to Ayumu's quirk having put most of the villains under his spell. They were easy to tackle and evacuate, letting more swat members fill the market, even as Don made killing them his mission. As he moved to reclaim his weaponry, he was followed by a unit from the swat team who approached him with their shields raised. "You're surrounded and there's nowhere to run! Put your weapons down and your hands up!" The unit leader commanded as they readied their guns.

In a quiet corner that was somewhat isolated, Liquid fox was snoring through all the noise and commotion.

Ryuiki.
1673475163228.png
Ryuiki began to sigh in frustration, as everything tonight went to shit slowly. First some rat tries to steal from him, now a war with the free ravens in which he'll need to clip their little wings, a police raid trying to catch him and other members of his group, and now someone trying to steal his research material. This day was rather eventful, and he despised that. But now, he needed to focus his attention on this cane toting fool with delusions of grandeur. "A duel?" He asked, slowly starting to chuckle, before it began to grow into a full cackle. "PPFFFFFTAAHAHAHA! Oh, I do love the ones with a sense of humor. Very well. I will indulge this little event. But due to your statement, I assume you're the one who sought to steal the other materials from the market. So before you get any funny ideas with the woman in my arms, if she leaves my viscinity, she will die. I will not tell you how, that might give you ideas on trying to subvert it. If you win, I will surrender the woman to you." He said, humming a moment as he extended his free hand to the side, a curved blade made of ice appearing in his hand, before it slowly turned a sickly black color.

When he heard the hero shout for him to drop tthe woman, he rolled his shoulders.
"Wait your turn little boy." He said simply, flicking his hand upwards as a pillar of ice rose in front of the spinning wheel, starting to rotate itself in place to absorb the momentum of the wheel and stop it. "You know what a true gentlemens duel needs? A musical backdrop. My dear, would you provide such for us?" He asked the woozy woman, before laughing a bit, as he tensed his arm that was holding her, triggering a part of his quirk as the woman involuntarily began to let out rhythmic singing tones. As she began, instruments made of ice and water began to form around the area, starting to play in tandem with the womans forced singing

"Good, now I'm in the mood. Snare, deal with the yoyo boy while I have my fun." He said, raising up a leg before slamming it down. "ICE AGE." And with the announcement, a dome of ice formed around the two combatants, leaving Ryuiki staring at Lupin. The mist was still everywhere else in the market, which gave Ryuiki a good idea of where Liquid was, rolling his shoulders momentarily. With sufficient spectacle set up for his duel, he had a moment to think. He knew that woman was the sister to one of his employees, and her arrest would likely upset her sister. That would not be good for morale at the very least. So with a hum, he said to himself. "Shortcut, take Liquid home. We'll be speaking with her shortly." He said, as the fox woman would find a portal open up beneath her, admittedly a bit too small for her to go through but with her unconscious body folding a bit it was pulled in with ease. "Okay, my guy, she's not that small how hard is it to just overestimate a little bit. Don't you 'Skill issue boss' me, it was YOUR skill issue!" He said to himself, scratching his head a bit in annoyance.

With that finished, he turned to Lupin again. "Now we can begin." He sighed out, before dashing towards lupin, his saber growing in length as he ran before he swung it, flying towards Lupin's torso.

Snare was in absolute ecstasy as his swarmed across the ground and began to mar flesh indiscriminately, though his focus was now on this hero. A nimble creature that managed to break his barb wire with that curious bladed hoop of it. It would make a marvelous trophy. The words of his boss were heard and recognized through his stupor, and only furthered his ferocity as he followed at Pinwheel with fervor, cackling through his mask.

He went slack and willed the wire flowing from his legs like a metallic river to yank him forward with speed and pain that only grew his cackles into boisterous taunts as he whipped himself forward toward Pinwheel, spearing barb wire into the ground in front of Neramon and instead of locking the blade hoop in place. Snare got a terrible idea. Heroes were weak when it came to lives in need weren't they?

A whip of wire spooling from his palm and onto the buzzing wheel and making it's blade even more jagged and deadly before he flung it, not at pinwheel, but at the police officers whom were busting the rest of the villains. The barb wire around the wheel creating a viscous 'beyblade' as lashes of wire loosened from it as it spun and slaughtered dozens of unsuspecting police officers and villains alike.

"Can't save them all, why bother? Taking things apart is much simpler, cleaner for the soul!- Thank you for being my first"

Snare gripped his mask tightly and with a intake of air; wire fired from his mask's eyeholes and mouth at the moment Pinwheel was distracted. [Ghoul Visage] a mask that was made from his barbed wire and allowed him to fire it faster from the corrugated slits; metal screeching and hissing as these sinister coils attempted to dismember him.

Luciano Carmine
1675489724527.png

Luciano watched everything turn to chaos, he gritted his teeth and growled deeply, wanting only his bomb and to meet the leader of the Red Rivers. But now it looked like the time to escape while he still could even with being given his small blue glass spiky grenade by Ayumu, Luciano looked rather perplexed and stared at his little contraption for a moment before Ayumu set off the main event as he would call it. " Wait, what do you mean you'll be useless? You look useless already! " Luciano growled in anger of having his little grenade be returned. Felt like an insult from where he came from, but seeing what would happen to the crowd would change his perspective and opinion. Although he watched for a moment or two what everyone's reaction was, seeing the crowd change drastically into a sleeping crowd like it's in a terrible comedy skit.

Luciano saw Ayumu wandering and maneuvering about randomly in which Carmine ran up to grab Ayumu and turned him to stare at him, seeing he was in a trance like state the mobster sighed deeply of annoyance and looked to the hypnotized Ayumu. " Babysitting... So, this is what you meant. " Luciano spoke as if he was speaking to Ayumu before he then picked Ayumu up and slung him over his shoulders in a fireman carry position. Luciano began looking around the crowd for a good place to get away to, heading towards the exit only to hear sounds of yelling and what may have been gunfire. Luciano growled and turned back around watching Snare take on this costume wearing jackass. " You have got to be kidding me. " The mobster growled looking to the stage. " Fuck it, that's where we're going. " Luciano began running towards the stage, heading down the steps to the center stage.

Luciano hopped onto the stage, making sure to maintain Ayumu on his shoulders and not drop him, Carmine moved to the back of the stage, trying to find a way out of this place, he wanted to get away from this random hero asshole that appeared and the potential police that are here. If Carmine was arrested or killed, his mission to save his father and rebuild the Carmine Crime Family would crumble into nothingness. Gritting his teeth, Luciano moved around the stage finding a backdoor and running out of it with Ayumu on his shoulders.

Lupin stood before the great Villain staring him down resolutely. He did not express the fear the figure in front of him would likely arouse in the face of battle. If anything it seemed like a game to him, as if it was all in good fun. However even Lupin would admit that there was a feeling of unease that grew within him at the laughter that answered his challenge. The Phantom Thief narrowed his eyes at Ryuiki fatal declaration. If what he said was true then that made this heist far more complicated. Without foreknowledge of his Quirk he couldn't risk taking her away. He refused to abide by any deaths during his pilfering. As a gentleman Lupin could never allow it.

His voice stilled seemed flippant and unconcerned but their was an edge. "Very well, I'll honor those terms. If you win, I offer both the things I stole as well as my life to do with as you will." Presenting his own ultimatum Lupin smiled, a grin that was reminiscent of his time as Gabriel but now it was undercut by his nefarious greed. He barely reacted when the Heroes weapon was intercepted by Ryuiki, it only served to show him the power of who he was dealing with. It was evident his Quirk was multi facted and powerful, at the moment his current bet was on "Temperature Manipulation" of some kind. It would explain theKotomine.Shirou.(Fate.Apocrypha).full.3723349.jpg mist and ice at least. That theory wasn't given much credence with what happened next. Somehow he managed to manipulate the woman in his arms. Lupin could admit to being disturbed by her singing and the instruments which formed out of ice and water didn't lessen this feeling. However he too was a showman. He clapped his black gloves together while he leaned against his cane. "Quite the spectacle good sir. I certainly have my work cut out for me, I'll do my utmost not to disappoint." Soon after he spoke a dome of ice began to surround them, with a few rapid blinks the camera feed from his drone showed they were truly completely covered. Which also meant the drones vision was cut off from him, meaning his Quirk's effectiveness would be significantly reduced. Escape seemed all but impossible. His mind raced to formulate a plan.

Only for his vision to soon be filled with imposing form of the Villain wielding a sword of ice prepared to cut him down. With a cheshire grin Lupin jumped swiftly. The swing that would have normally bisected him instead racing under him. In a maneuver of acrobatics he brought his feet up and kicked out into the chest of Ryuiki. Causing Lupin to sail back through the air, turning in the air he put his leather shoes and gloves to the ground slowing and steadying himself. Before raising himself up now a couple feet from the Villain. The smile still present upon his face his hand went up to his top hat adjusting it slightly upon his head. He dusted himself off with his other hand. "My my, quite the excitable sort aren't you. Such an attack could have killed me you know?" He levelled his gaze at Ryuiki still sounding quite unbothered and jovial. Putting his hands up in a "what can you do?" pose. Lupin seemed as if he was going to speak again but instead one of his hands thrust into his coat before thrusting back out again swiftly. A smoke bomb sailed through the air quickly covering the space between them in thick smoke. Soon after a cane thrust from behind the smoke but its tip was now the sharp edge of a sword. Its wielder was still hidden within, but with each thrust at Ryuiki the sword cane retreated only to appear elsewhere. The Thief enacting a ploy to attack the Villain unseen.

Pinwheel
1675820175372.png

Pinwheel gritted his teeth, watching Ryuiki stop his ring. that was the second time tonight that someone had done that to him and he was getting pissed off now. He would need to figure out a way to get around all of these villains to rescue the officer, but that was proving more and more difficult. The department knew that this was a risky operation, but they also knew it could be the last chance to save the officer before she was lost in the underworld. He was prepared to attack again, but his wheel did not respond as it normally did. His attention went to the ring and he saw Snare, the Barbed Wire villain, tampering with his gear. "I'll do without." Ritsu looked back to Ryuiki and it seemed a fight was starting over the woman. He had started moving around the market towards the brewing encounter.

Before he could reach the officer however, Snare threw his ring and the large wheel flew indiscriminately through the crowd. thugs and villains were cut down alongside the officers as the barbed wire rent their flesh from their bodies. "No!" Pinwheel through his hands out, taking hold of the ring and as he pulled his hands back, the ring changed course and flew upward then started to return to him. From the side, while he was distracted, Snare's wire snaked through the air towards him, scratching his armor and eventually piercing it and digging into his skin. "Argh!" He screamed out but quickly grit his teeth to deny the villain any further satisfaction.

He could feel the wire in his skin, the cool metal warming as his blood ran over it. Lazily he threw his left hand, directing his ring back at Snare at maximum speed.

Between Snare's antics and the police raiders, the market was quickly starting to settle, but in favor of the law enforcement. That was when another hero arrived on the scene, reinforcements called in by the chief. "Whaddaya say we finish up here and head out for drinks on you?" Black Cat suggested with a smirk as he watched his partner work.

His partner was Onyx tiger, a mountain of a man who currently had three villains in a headlock and another one grabbed by the throat. "How can you think about drinks at a time like this? I wish you'd be more focused." The villains were slowly being overpowered, and outnumbered by their enemies. As Luciano made his way to the back door, many of them started to follow him, deciding it was better to lose their merchandise and reputations than their freedoms.

Snare started to understand how difficult the heroes really had it. Here he was, living in absolute ecstasy, all the while it seemed Mr. Pinwheel was under alot of pressure. When your net of worry encompassed more than your own delightful life, it was practically suicide. It was no secret that Snare had no love for humanity and those who tried to pull on his heartstrings would be found wanting, or rather, not. He was under the impression it was a faculty he was simply born without.

A jolt of adrenaline flooding his system as he felt his barb wire pierce Pinwheel's skin. The momentary sound of his pain causing a gleeful spurn of laughter from Snare. The beat of exhaustion he felt overwhelmed by maniacal fervor; This was it! This was the reason he was alive! His laugh beginning to raw his throat as foam sputtered down his his lips. Perhaps it was his first villain, perhaps it was the intuition from his boss...but something new clicked. Snare had thought of this moment for so long and had considered such plans for the death of his first hero.

A spectacular finish was the best commendation he could give under such a rushed art piece.

The wire, burrowed in his arm, went from cold to burning; flaring as his arm stiffened and started to act against his will, refusing to throw the ring, and gripped it so hard his fingers started to dig into the blade. Snare lunging at Pinwheel the moment his arm had distracted Pinwheel, seconds all Snare needed as the several feet of wire he had spooled across the ground snapped into action. Villains, Heroes, and Cops alike all hearing the sound of pained cries and horrendous gurgling. Barbed whips lashing into Pinwheel from every direction and perforating him with dozens of thickly tapered wires. Snare raising the hero's struggling body high into the air and relished the pure red drink that bled from pinwheel.

"Cheers, to my first dance with a hero, and your last dance ever. You were so focused on saving others that you forgot to save yourself. A pity"

Snare yanking his hand down like he was pulling a drawstring, and the wires that were coursing through Pinwheel, violently exited his body. Blood and viscera erupting from him as armor pieces and hunks of meat alike clattered to the floor. Snare being washed in the sticky and abhorrent mess, bowing to his enemy, now spilling across the market floor. Snare running bloody hands through his chunk laden hair; he didn't have time to enjoy the afterglow of this moment as the police were now swarming in droves. The Serial Killer snatching Pinwheel's ring before making his escape, dragging himself with his barbed wire like a demented chariot, into the night of Hokkaido

Ryuiki.
1673475163228.png
Ryuiki huffed as the thief jumped off his chest with the deftness of someone befitting the name Lupin, bearing his blade back as his listened to the comment the man shouted back at him about death, laughing a moment. "On the contrary boy! I wouldn't dream of killing someone as capable as you! Working for me is a much better alternative!" He called back, seeing the smoke beginning to form in the dome, rolling his shoulders a moment. Not being allowed to kill made this much more difficult. He had usually dealt with challengers like this with a simple clean kill, nice and efficient, but now he had to make this man yield without killing him, which was not often a limit he had placed on himself.

But he would deal with this. While he doubted the blade of the boy could pierce his armor, it was best not to tempt fate. So instead, he began to eject a stream of water from himself, intent on getting some on his opponent to find out where they were, a bubble of water forming around himself.
"What say you we end this farce, and you come with me quietly? The Red River has excellent care for it's employees!" He said with a laugh, starting to have fun with this, as his blade curved and morphed into a gauntlet, preparing to catch his opponents blade in it next time a thrust came forth.

Kotomine.Shirou.(Fate.Apocrypha).full.3247031.pngLupin struck at the armored Villain. But his blade scraped off the armor resounding with the sound of metal against metal. The Phantom Thief couldn't penetrate the armor his only chance was the classical weakness of such things. Traditionally that was places like the armpits, back of the knees, palms and visor but this armor was erratically designed. It seemed to adhered to average Villain standard of style over practicality but this Villain hadn't skipped out on either if its durability was anything to go by.

Ryuiki's words echoed out within the dome reaching Lupin while he hid within the smoke. Lupin didn't respond. From within the haze he could not see what Ryuiki was doing. Nor avoid the plan he was concoting. Making another probing thrust towards the Villain he tried to pull it back only to realize it was stuck likely in the other grip. Almost immediately he released his cane sword. Using his natural speed he rushed out from the side of the smoke cloud. Emerging out the smoke he reached into his cloak and pulled out a grappling hook wire. Holding it in his oft hand he spun it as he ran then threw it with supreme deftness. Attempting to wrap it around the Villains legs and pull his weight out from under him. With his plan in motion he finally responded to Ryuiki. "You'll have to forgive me; I quite enjoy self employment and I'm not in the market for other professions."

Despite his struggles Lupin knew this was practically helpless. He was a thief not a frontline fighter. The only way this ice was going down anytime soon was the Heroes and police breaking through which raised the stakes of him getting caught too much for his liking. Or Ryuiki dispelling it, Lupin had to admit he may have bitten more than he could chew. He knew he was a little arrogant but there hadn't been a situation he hadn't escaped from before, but his principles were holding him back. Now that he made his decision to save that girl, he just couldn't leave her be. He had chosen to "steal" her and he had never left behind his quarry before. He'd have to formulate a plan, or else this duel may be his last...

Ryuiki.
1673475163228.png
Ryuiki found the blade in his hand with relative ease, annoyed that he hadn't had the time to attack back, but humming a bit as he took proper hold of the cane. He hummed a bit at the smoke, starting to snap his fingers as the water bubble around him solidified into a solid shape, taking the shape of a fan, starting to spin rapidly and blow the smoke away from himself. He saw the string of the grappling hook flying towards his legs, humming a bit and nodding, before Ice began to form around the feet of the large villain, his legs covered in massive blocks of ice, as he took his foot out and slammed it on the hook to keep it in place.

"Hmm, an interesting choice for yourself mister... Lupin I believe it was?" He said, looking at the villain across from him. "I will make this simpler for you then. Your self employment is coming to an end tonight, whether by me hiring you, or our friends with the blue and red lights outside catching you. However, I will not leave this simply as something unfortunate for you. If you come with me and join my side, this woman you value so much will not be harmed." He said, gesturing to the woman on his shoulder. He began to look at the thief, humming a moment, as he slowly snapped his fingers. "Shortcut, I'm coming home." He said outloud, as a swirling blue portal opened behind him, taking the cane in his hand and gesturing towards it. "By all means, your choice on if you accept my offer or not." He said, a pair of ice spikes slowly raising towards the woman, accentuating his offer and threat.

Pinwheel
1676570107499.png

Ritsu had been fighting to accomplish his mission, to save the officer who had become a prisoner of this villain organization. Perhaps it was his tunnel vision or maybe he was just being reckless, but he had realized just how dangerous his enemies were. And suddenly the world seemed to move in slow motion as memories started to flood his mind. His school days flashed before his eyes like a short movie, followed by his meeting of Alphonso and his tenure as the sidekick to his friend's father. Reliving these moments was sublime, blissful, and happy. The hero didn't even recognize the pain that he was being put through as the barbed wire was violently ripped from his skin. Just as his armor clattered to the floor and his body started to grow clod his glory days as a hero started to play back. The light started to dim in Pinwheel's eyes as he watched himself save people, be ranked the number 17 hero in the country, and even open his own hero agency. His life played out so fast and before the hero could even realize it, he shed his final tears as his heart gave out and his body shut down.

"Pinwheel!" A voice cried out over the crowd as the hero's lifeless body lay on the cold concrete floor. Onyx Tiger and Black Cat watched, mortified by the sight of their colleague taking his last breath.

"Argh!" Tiger let out a roar of sorrow and anger right before he surged into the crowd of villains and cops with renewed fervor. Black Cat rushed to Pinwheel's side in the hopes of aiding the hero, but was greeted instead by the gory sight of a body beyond saving. "Ritsu..." He called softly with downcast eyes as his heart broke.

JNN Report

"Good evening everyone, this is Minamoto Takakuni and..." He paused to take a deep breath and steady his nerves. "...I have grim news to report. Earlier today the Sapparo Police Department cooperated with several heroes to break up what we have been told was a villainous black market happening beneath the city." The reporter laid his papers down on his desk and raised his hand to rub at his forehead and sweep a few strands of grey hair from his face. "While they did succeed in putting an end to the illegal activity, an officer was taken by the villains and the hero Pinwheel was killed while attempting to save her." Silence feel over the studio and invaded the homes of those viewing the broadcast as they felt their hearts ache for the loss of life. "We go now to the scene of the crime, where police and heroes are still on site."

"We only want to say that Pinwheel was a great hero who was taken from us too early." Black Cat declared while fighting back tears.

Onyx Tiger placed his hand on his partner's shoulder and nodded his head. "But we will remember Pinwheel and honor his memory. Black Cat and I are going to commit to bringing his killer to justice and rescuing the officer he gave his life trying to save."

The camera shifted to the chief of police, who appeared stoic and calm. "We must warn the public that there was dangerous equipment being sold here and now more than ever it is important that citizens alert authorities if they see something suspicious."

Lupin pressed the attack appearing from the side of the smoke cloud to catch his enemy unaware. His eyebrows shot up as the smoke he had been using toKotomine.Shirou.(Fate.Apocrypha).full.3251272.jpg mask himself dissipated being spread out over the area. With no other options he went ahead with his plan to trip up the Villain anyway, but Ryuiki's great level of control over his Quirk was once again shown off. Just as Lupins grappling hook was about to reach his legs he froze his greaves into blocks of ice. Lupin could only watch with growing concern as his latest scheme was foiled and now he without another tool. From the very start of this "duel" he had been at a disadvantage, he hadn't expected such a powerful Quirk. And with such a simple application of its power his usual tactic of harass and escape was lost.

He never let his cheshire poker face fall, his expression was ever unconcerned. But a bead of sweat rolled down his face. His nerves were starting to get to him, but he refused to allow this to be the end of Lupin II! As his eyes flicked to the woman then to the edges of their arena looking for an escape he knew didn't exist, Ryuiki gave an ultimatum. As he listened the mask Lupin of nonchalance Lupin had kept up started to crack. it was the worst situation he could imagine. He was being asked to work under this Villain. He was being forced to set aside his pride. To allow himself to be caged. Giving up his freedom. All for the sake of his principles. If was a hard pill to swallow, but if this Villain made good on his threat then the death of that woman meant he couldn't be Lupin anymore. If he followed, there was at least a chance of escape of stealing away right from under their nose. And besides didn't Arsene do such a thing multiple times? If he is to be worthy of the name then it may as well be his turn.

Lupin rest his hand upon the brim of his top hat, pulling down so that it covered his eyes. He appeared deep in thought. "Quite the strange ending to a voyage that had commenced in a most auspicious manner.” He raised his head staring at Ryuiki with what may have been his first truly genuine expression of the night. It was a resolute smile, an acceptance of the state of affairs. "Very well, on my honor as a gentleman you've won this duel I shall accompany you. So long as the lady is treated well." At the opening of the portal Lupin did not flinch or appear surprised, he stepped forward standing before his only exit. With a flick of his eye there was a pop as air rushed into a now empty space. The cane that was in Ryuiki's grasp was now back in Lupins, he clasped it with both hands upon the pommel. "You'll find I'm a rather adaptable sort..." With that he said no more and gazed ahead stepping through the portal. High above the Market the drone in the air ceased to receive a signal. A antenna popped out the top and it swiftly flew out the underground area up into the Hokkaido night sky. It may take it days or even weeks, but it would find its master.
