"My leg would hurt too if I used it like you do." Her brother says teasingly before he starting gathering his things to leave. Walking to the car with her they picked a place to eat and then he called his wife to tell her where to meet them.

Lilly enjoyed these moments with her brother and her sister-in-law. She was happy Ebony was coming and after they ate, she asked Landen to take her to the hospital so she could check on Jace. She needed to make sure he was okay. It was all her fault this happened and she wanted a healthy recovery for him.

Landen sighed as he shook his head to his sister. "Not today Lilly." He felt bad for Lilly but he couldn't take her to a place she didn't have the right to be.

Lilly looked at Landen and felt nothing but hurt. She sighed and nodded as she sank back in the seat. She hated Riley so much right now and it was because of him this was happening. When she got home, she went through the same routine and put all her things where they belonged and then yawned as she looked at her father. "Hey." She said when she saw him walk in. She was nervous for the results in the tryouts tomorrow.

Jayden smiled at her tiredly. "Hi baby." He says with a smile setting his things down. "How was school and tryouts?" Going to the fridges he grabbed s drink and sat down at the table, it had been a long day and he was glad to sit down for once.

"School was the usual and tryouts were just really fun." Lilly said as she laughed and grabbed a water from the fridge and began to drink it. "How was work?" She asked him with a smile.

"Exhausting." Her father answers honestly with a dramatic yawn, causing him to laugh. When he saw Aly and Riley walk through the door he smiled.

Alyssa smiled when Riley yawned and walked to the kitchen where he grabbed a water and went straight upstairs to shower and change. Lilly hugged her mom then grabbed a peanut butter and jelly sandwich that was in the fridge and ate that.

Jayden kissed his wife I in greeting and then ran upstairs to shower himself, in hopes it would wake him even in the slightest. When he finished he walked back down the stairs and talked with Lilly about her tryouts. "Are your legs feeling any better?"

Lilly looked at her father and sighed as she shook her head. "No not really but I'll be okay." She told him with a smile and then began to start on her homework. She was exhausted and honestly, she just wanted to sleep. "I'm scared to find out if I got the position or not." She added and then sighed.

"You're just like your mother." Her father days with a laugh. "She said that about getting into law school." He says with a smirk when he looked towards her. It was amusing because not only did she make it she was the best of the best.

"Mom? Mom said that about law school? The Alyssa Woods." Lilly said as she laughed and Alyssa rolled her eyes. "Oh shut it. If it wasn't for your father I would have never made it." She admitted with a smile.

"Oh please, I don't believe that." Jayden says flashing her a smile. He would never take credit for her loving a full life or her accomplishments because he turkey believed she did it all on her own, it was her strength.

Alyssa laughed softly as she went behind him and hugged him from behind. Lilly saw and smiled then walked up to her room. Alyssa kissed her husbands neck then shortly after, yawned and smiled. "I love you." She whispered.

Jayddn smile and let out an exhausted sigh. "I'm getting to old for this." He says teasingly with a laugh as he turned to her and kissed her cheek. He was just teasing but sometimes he did feel his age beginning to catch up with him.

Alyssa laughed softly and nodded. "I agree." She told him though she was just kidding. She wanted some time with her husband but she'd never say. He always was at work and then focused on the kids. "I'm going to go to sleep. Night love." She told Jayden and kissed him softly and went up to their room where she looked at a box she was wrapping. Tomorrow was yet another anniversary for them, but she knew they wouldn't spend it together, let alone the possibility of Jayden forgetting.

Of course Jayden suspected she would think he would forget, but he never did. Tomorrow marked 15 years since they remarried and he had big plans for it.

The next morning when Lilly came down, she smiled at her father and then looked at Riley but quickly looked away. Alyssa still asleep and getting to sleep in for once. The kids told her too because they weren't going to school today.

When the kids woke Jay fed them breakfast before Landen showed up to take the kids to help with party preparations. Before Aly woke Jay started their breakfast and when he finished he cleaned the kitchen.

When Alyssa finally woke up, she yawned and slowly walked down the stairs. Her hair was every which way and she looked beyond exhausted. "Morning love." She told Jayden with a smile and kissed him softly. "Happy anniversary." She whispered.

"Good morning, nice hair." Jayden replies teasingly before he kissed her in return. "Ahh, is that what day it is? I almost forgot." He says with a mischievous smile.

Alyssa looked at Jayden and laughed. "Oh I figured." She whispered and kissed her husband again as she looked around. "Where'd the kids go?" She asked him wondering where they exactly went. She was so tired because she had to work really late. "Your presents upstairs."

"They ran away," taking her hands in his own he kissed her cheek. "Is it? I wonder what it could be." He says with a curious smile before he lead her up the stairs behind him to discover what it was.

Alyssa laughed softly and when they went upstairs, she reached for the box and gave it to Jayden with a smile. "Hope you love it." She whispered and then waited for him to open it. Inside was a frame of all his graduation pictures but underneath it, was a necklace. Lilly helped her mom pick it out. It was the one he had been wanting for awhile now.
