Jay woke up herself, she had been laid down on a bed in the cell. Memories flashed back through her head as she bolted to her feet, lips bared in a snarl. "Luca, this is insane!" She snapped as the man laughed, a dangerously low laugh. "Astrid, Jaylin. You two have always been close. I should've known that Astrid would try and convince you to accept that vampire" He spat the word out as he huffed. "I'm going to mate, mark and bond with you Jaylin. But I don't want to hurt you so I've got Astrid to test out how to break the mate bond on. Get comfortable girls, things will kick off soon" He said with another laugh. The sorcerer was on his way and Luca would finally get what he wanted.

Kain heard Eric's voice and emitted another growl, but this one was more pained and upset then angry. He could feel the bond but it was so weak and that was driving him insane. "I-I can barely feel her" He whispered. It felt like his whole world had crashed down around him. When he got her back, he'd never let her go. If she thought he was joking before about chaining her to his side, he'd be serious about it now. He let her go and this happened. He ripped his hands through his hair as he paced. They needed to speak to Alpha Ryan, maybe the man would know where Luca would be keeping them. ​

Astrid froze, for once fear flashed in her eyes “Luca that is insane! No one has successfully broken a bond there is a reason! You could kill me first!” She was terrified knowing Luca likely had no issue with that idea, she wasn’t important to him just a means of getting Jay. “Why don’t you let me out of here and I’ll give you a piece of my mind!” She snarled, her anger matching her fear.

Eric looked at him “I know man but you’ve got to keep a cool head to think straight. Let’s go to Aloha Ryan he may know something more..”

Jay narrowed her eyes at the wolf in front of them. "You will never have me! Eric will find me" She growled. He laughed again. "I've got some help coming to ensure it is successful. But then again, if I do kill you, it'll kill him and I've got less to worry about later." He laughed again. "I'll back for you soon" He grinned before walking up the stairs, shutting and locking the door at the top. Jay whimpered as she heard him, her weakened state thanks to the collar draining her energy. She smelled like him again and felt nauseated again.

Kain sighed, nodding. "Ok, okay. Let's talk to Alpha Ryan" He said. Keeping a cool head for a male who's mate could be severely injured wasn't going to be easy. He led the way to the pack house, spying a wolf at the front door. "Where is the Alpha?" He asked, his voice still strained from anger and worry. "Who are you?" Clearly this male had no idea who he is. "I'm King Kain, mate to Astrid and I need to talk to her Alpha." The man straightened up. "Follow me, name's Paul" He said, leading them up to the Alpha's office. "Alpha Ryan?" He asked, knocking on the door.​

Alpha Ryan looked up hearing Kain and Eric “come in. what can I do for you two..” he questioned but frowned slightly seeing the girls weren’t with him and they seemed rather panicked. “What happened..?” He narrowed his eyes standing up from his desk.

Astrid just slumped back against the wall tiredly, the collar was draining everything she had. She had grossly underestimated Luca and how determined he was to get Jay, resorting to illegal silver chains

Jay pushed herself further up the bed, resting against the wall. Her legs were pulled up and her arms wrapped tightly against her legs. "I'm so sorry Astrid" She whispered with a whine. Meanwhile Luca was upstairs talking with Julius and Isaac, telling them to keep an eye out for the sorcerer.

Kain looked at Alpha Ryan, his face was drawn in pain. "The girls have been kidnapped by Luca." Kain couldn't help the involuntary snarl that left his lips after he'd spoken the males name. He was still agitated, and his eyes couldn't decide if they wanted to stay red or dark brown. "We lost the scent at the scene, and I-I can barely feel Astrid even though we are marked and had accepted the bond." He explained further. "You have two other pack members who are helping him by the way. Isaac and Julius" He sighed, trying to calm down but not successfully if he was being honest with himself.​

Astrid frowned “it’s okay Jay.. we will get through this. It’s not your fault we knew the risks but your my friend.” She lay her head back with a whine of pain though

Evelyn walked into the cabin with a hum “good afternoon Luca.” She smirked “we have work to do. I do believe we have some bonds to break?”

Ryan blinked “excuse me..?” A low growl rumbled in his chest “I have no idea where they would be. There a dozens of cabins throughout the territory but that’s only if they haven’t gone elsewhere.”

Jay knew it was her fault. She’d gotten them into this. Her and bad decisions had done this.

Luca huffed as Evelyn came into the cabin. “Yes we do, what is the first step.” He asked, he could feel his wolf grow just as excited. They’d finally have a mate.

Kain lowered his head at hearing the growl. He thought that this would be a lead, be something. “I doubt they’d bring them somewhere in the territory. Lucas not the brightest but unfortunately he’s also pretty smart when he wants something” Paul was still there. He was the beta and Jay’s step brother and now he knew that she was missing, he was going to help. “Eric and I can try the scene again, maybe there was a piece of scent or footprints.” He said. “Alpha, let me go with them, I can use my wolf to track” Paul looked at Ryan.​

Ryan hummed “he’s also confident enough in himself he very well could foolishly have them under our noses..” he looked at Paul dipping his head “report back if you find anything. If Luca is around that means the others will be too.”

Evelyn eyed him but hummed “she needs to be weak. She is likely to fight tooth a nail… a bond separation is not gentle.” She looked at him “Lucas this is uncharted territory. The last forced unbinding was centuries ago, it’s been banned for a long time. I can not assure you it will work and if it does the damage it would do.”

Kain and Paul looked at each other. “Yes Alpha.” He looked at Eric before motioning for them to head out to the scene again.

Luca growled at the sorcerer, hearing her words. “They both are wearing silver collars and Astrid had been stabbed with a silver knife in the shoulder” He told her. “How long do we wait for her to weaken further?”​

Evelyn glared back at him “ I suppose we can give it a try. Worst case just wait for a little while, the process should weaken her as it is.” She began setting out her things so she’d be ready when they brought her up.

Eric quickly followed after Kain trying to find any little hint of Jay anywhere beginning to internally panic more.

Luca nodded. “Excellent” He unlocked the door and made his way down the stairs. He snagged keys and cuffs, and for a little humiliation, a leash for the collar. He smirked to himself as he opened Astrid’s cell. “Now be a good girl” He said, shutting the cell behind him.

Jay watched with wide eyes as he entered the cell.

Kain could feel bits and pieces of fear and pain as they walked. It was making him upset further. As they got to the scene, Paul shifted and started sniffing around, he saw foot prints and barked, pointing with his paw. “Excellent, let’s follow them” Kain felt like they were finally getting on track. He had no idea the pain he was going to experience shortly.​

Astrid stood with a snarl clearly not planning on going down willingly but she was already shakey on her legs. A muffle cry of pain escaped though as she moved. The stab wound was still bleeding and the silver coursing through her blood was burning With any little movement she made. narrowing her eyes seeing the leash she cursed “over my dead body Lucas” she was not about to be humiliated like that.

She was concerned though knowing she’d turned down his advances in the past and he wasn’t one to take it well and she feared this was his version of punishment.

Eric followed after Paul, the track’s incredibly hard to follow though as multiple times they ended up looping back on themselves

Luca snorted, seeing how weak she was. “Maybe if you had accepted me before, this wouldn’t be happening.” It was easy to put on the cuffs and clicked the leash in place. “It very might well be over your dead body” He added, proceeding to lead her up the stairs.

Kain let out a growl at the tracks. The feeling of Astrid was getting fainter and it was driving him to near state of feral. He would catch bits and pieces of scent, but it seemed like they were headed out of the territory even while looping. Paul caught a scent of rogues and growled himself.​

Astrid growled managing to punch him square in the nose before he got the cuffs on but the movement caused her to collapse on the ground crying out in pain. She snarled planting her feet until the burn of the collar forced her to stumble up the stairs. She stared at the sorcerer in fear knowing what was about to happen

He felt the punch and growled at her. He smirked as she’d fallen and then it was simple to bring her to Evelyn. He shoved her into a chair, keeping the leash in hand. “She’s all yours” He could feel the blood trickling down his face from the hit.​

Astrid flinched growling any time he moved his hand, the collar beginning to leave a burn mark against her skin from fighting so much. She smirked when she drew blood “you know it’s quiet sad your resorting to kidnapping someone else’s mate cause your to weak and obsessive to find your own.”

Evelyn began gathering what she needed opening her spell book

He snarled at her, his eyes narrowed. “Be quiet. I can’t stand to hear you talk” He bit out. He wasn’t obsessed, he just wanted Jay. She was beautiful and she would be his. “I am doing what I must.” He snapped.

Kain looked at Paul when he growled and scented the air. Rogues. They were headed the right way, but it was slow moving. Unfortunately it would only get slower as they moved to the border of the outside world. Now rogue scents were everywhere.​

Astrid smirked “you used to love it. You’d follow me in training like a love sick puppy.” She mocked “so you manage to sever a bond the girl is going to hate you for the rest of her life not want to be yours.”

Evelyn looked at Lucas “you may have to hold her down I’ve never completed one of these spells.”

He glared at her. “I’m not a love sick puppy anymore.” Then he let out a deep growl. “Once we sever the bond and mark her, she’ll want me.” Luca didn’t think he was as delusional as he sounded. Looking over at Evelyn, he nodded and placed his hands on her shoulders. “You fight me, I know where your wound is. I can make this even more painful or not.” He snarled. “Do it” Luca told her.​

Astrid growled “you’re insane Lucus!” She struggled slightly against his grip clearly still going to fight him with everything she had left. But a blood curdling scream escaped as she started thrashing against Lucas, kicking him in the leg “get off me!”as Evelyn began the spell. Every inch of her body was on fire sending her into a panic as she felt Evelyn focus on the bond

Evelyn began the spell grabbing what she needed as she went not stopping even as she began thrashing

Luca smirked as he held the female in place. He snarled at her as she nailed his leg. He watched as the spell started working.

Kain was heading deeper into the other territory when he fell to his knees. A burning sensation originated at his neck, where she’d marked him and traveled through his blood like fire. Something was happening to the bond and then he heard it. Screams, her screams. He pretty much flew toward the sound, pushing his legs faster, trying to stop the process before the bond was severed completely.​

Astrid thrashed struggling to get free of his grip, ignoring the pain in her shoulder as she kicked at his leg again attempting to free herself. She was weak enough all it was really going to do was make him mad and it hurt a little. She began screaming again as her mark began burning

Luca looked triumphant before a roar cut through the cabin. Kain busted the door down, quickly assessed the situation before leaping at the sorcerer. His body slammed into her, interrupting the spell. The fire quelled slightly but his mark still burned. He snarled at her.

Jay heard a roar and let out a scream, hoping that they could hear her. She could hear Astrid’s screams and smelled Eric near.

Paul ran towards Luca, pinning him down with his teeth on his neck, waiting for Eric to finish the job. Paul would jump away the moment the vampire came over.​

Eric didn’t even attempt to make the killing long and drawn out, finishing off Lucas in seconds before bolting down the stairs. He skidded to a stop at Jay’s door ripping it open and embracing her in a tight hug. “Are you okay..? I’m so sorry.” He gently reached up working on undoing the collar throwing it to the side.

Astrid screamed in pain falling to the ground as Lucas took her down with him but scrambled away from them. She was struggling to stay awake just whimpering in pain

Kain growled at the sorcerer before moving over to Astrid. Her whimpers made his heart hurt. He went to wrap her up in a hug but the moment their skin touched, he jerked back with a whining growl. It wasnt supposed to burn like fire when they touched. He rounded on the sorcerer with fire in his eyes. “FIX HER!” He yelled, his eyes a blood red.

Jay looked at Eric as he came flying down the stairs. She ignored the burning of the collar as she launched herself off the bed and into his arms just as he pulled her into a hug. She whined at first when he took the collar off before she relaxed in his hold. “I’m okay, but how is Astrid?” Her concern for her friend evident in her voice. ​
