Simon looked from Strong to Luness as she floated down and examined the wound. Simon kept the pressure on the wound to try and keep it from bleeding as he looked over Strong smiling at her comment.

"Not in a million years."

Simons attention spun from Amber to Calista and then he glanced over at the new voice he had heard after entering. The girl looked vaguely familiar to Simon in the dim lights of the tunnel, but it was hard for him to tell from where. Obviously, Calista knew the girl, but now wasn't the time to exchange pleasantries. Simon returned his attention to Amber and looked from Luness to the new girl as the expressed helping her. Simon shifted more towards Amber's head, still holding onto the staunch until Luness and the new girl were ready and then removed it so they could do their thing.

As Simon and the others worked, Jimbo lumbered into the room sliding his shotgun back into place on his back. He craned his head the best he could over the crowd of people, trying to see if Amber was alright or not. When he saw she was moving, it made him feel a little bit better and he relaxed a bit. The relaxation did not last, as the slow rhythmic sound of beeping drew his attention towards the table in the room. Jimbo scrunched his brow as he moved closer to the table and found something under a cloth. Lifting the cloth, Jimbo's eyes went wide as he dropped it and turned back towards the others.

"Guys, we have a serious problem over here. Can anyone defuse a bomb?"

While his initial attack landed perfectly, Falarion was overwhelmed by all of the other attacks coming from every which way and he was too distracted to even have the time to understand that biting into Boris' neck was pointless with how tough his fur and skin was.

By the time it even remotely clicked in his head, Falarion was letting go of Boris and letting out a yelp of both surprise and pain, as Boris bit into the top of his front right leg.

On top of all of this, the flashbang went off and Falarion was oblivious to it happening so now he was also blind.

Immediately, Falarion began frantically trying to push off Boris' chest, his paws scrambling along Boris and possibly cutting him unless his fur and skin were too tough for any of the claws to actually cut him.

Yelping the entire time that Boris kept his grip on his leg, Falarion even reached out to Manjano in a blind (literally) panic, Mate! Help! He's going to break my leg! Oh god, it hurts!

Hearing Falarion's thoughts, Manjano immediately stiffened and shifted his blurring vision to see Falarion stuck in Boris' grip, his mouth specifically.

Eyes wide, and feeling an adrenaline rush kicking in despite his exhaustion from his own injury, Manjano slowly stood up and then began making his way closer to Boris while he hugged his injured, and still bleeding, arm to his chest.

Once he was close enough, Manjano gritted his teeth and stood up straight before pulling out a deadly looking dagger and then whipping it at Boris, intending to strike him in the shoulder so as to distract him long enough to make him let go of Falarion.

Alas, on top of already having terrible vision from the pain and already being half blind, Manjano's aim was terribly off, resulting in his dagger flying past Boris and striking a buffalo. Manjano hadn't the faintest idea where it had struck though, thanks to all of his mixed vision problems.

On the bright side, he didn't hit any friendlies and add more friendly fire to the list of current problems. On the downside, he missed Boris and his chance to help distract him from further harming Falarion.

Meanwhile, Falarion cried out in between his yelping, "I can't see! I can't see! Help!"

As the new girl made her appearance and rudely introduced herself, Luness could only push back her personal feelings towards the girl for now as Strong was the priority. At least, the girl's ferret understood that.

The moment Simon removed the cloth from Strong's wound, Luness tilted her head to the side before focusing so she could force a couple tears out and into Strong's wound, which sizzled a bit and probably stung quite a lot for a few seconds.

Once the sizzling stopped, the wound seemed to be bleeding less profusely and now it was up to the new girl to finish the job.

Realizing that Leandra was still missing from the group, Luness blinked and quickly took flight and left the room before the beeping object was discovered, as her heart was now racing in fear for Leandra's safety.

Flying back down the tunnels, Luness soon felt Leandra's presence near her and landed on the ground just beyond the bodies of the enemies they'd downed earlier.

Leandra blinked when she saw Luness' white figure in the darkness and then sighed once she felt Luness' mental presence and knew she wasn't yet another enemy.

It was only once Luness got within a few feet of Leandra that she saw the downed human lying in front of her, except he was breathing unlike all of the others down the hall.

Glancing up at Leandra, Luness then asked, "Dear, what happened? Did he attack you?"

Shrugging, Leandra poked him with the end of her staff before saying, "I think he was actually retreating with the few others, but he saw me. The others kept running, but he aimed his gun at me so I had no choice but to defend myself. I actually thwacked him really hard on the head...so I think he's just unconscious at the moment. I mean, he's still breathing, right?"

Seeing his chest rising and falling rhythmically, Luness responded, "Yes, dear. He still is breathing."

Uncertain of what to do with the unconscious enemy, Luness flew onto Leandra's shoulder before saying to her, "Perhaps we should carry him to the others and decide with them if we should keep him as a prisoner or not."

Blinking at this, Leandra instantly responded, "Wait, did they find Strong? If she's hurt at all then they'll be too busy taking care of her. I personally know there's no way I can carry this guy on my own, Lune."

Sighing, Luness responded, "I know, dear. I just wouldn't want yet another enemy to escape like the others. It's not safe for them to be able to report what happened here. Plus, he may know something that would be useful for us to know as well. Oh, and yes, they did find Strong. She's injured, but she'll heal."

While going back and forth over whether they should keep the downed enemy or leave him, Leandra and Luness both remained unaware of the fact that there was now a bomb amidst them in the tunnels.

Ash saw the paw coming for his throat but he was mid dive and there wasn't a damn thing he could do to dodge the blow. 'Fudge.' Before it hit however the owl saved him from the devastating blow. However the next blow Ash didn't get a chance to react to. Just as he neared Gigi, the bear headbutted him, right in the chest. At this Ash let out a gasp of pain and was pushed back a bit as he grabbed his chest. He got lucky and the hit wasn't in his solar plexus, but one thing was for sure a rib or two may be cracked and he knew this was going to leave a bruising.

Getting onto his hands and knees Ash coughed a bit at the pain before he looked up as the ground moved a bit. "Ashy!" Before Ash had a moment to react one of the kangaroo's came up to him and delivered a punch to his head. Ash rolled out of the way just in time (luckily not getting a scratch on his face...if that happened someone going ta die) and stood up recollecting himself. He got in a boxing stance as he looked at the Kangaroo. Smirking a bit he rolled one should and backed away as he Kangaroo charged him. When he did Ash side stepped and the animal followed throwing a solid punch to Ash's neck one he barely managed to move away from as he shifted and pushed the arm away. Even though he just had a close call he was still grinning. "Oi buddy, don't look up." Of course... The kangaroo had to look up after all why would he listen to pretty boy here. "I warned you~"

The moment he did there was a loud screech and out came Fie from the trees with his knife in hand. Landing on the Kangaroo's face he took the blade and with two swift swipes got both it's eyes. The creature let out a howl of pain at this attack and now started to thrash around violently. Fie held on for dear life, and sadly Ash was too close and got a hit in his shoulder from one of the clawed punched. Gritting his teeth in pain he backed up and moved away from the kangaroo. Before taking out his gun and aiming carefully taking two shots he hit the animal in the knee making it yell as he fell to the ground. When it did Fie did a back flip and landed safely on the ground. The Kangaroo however didn't give up and was going to get right back up even though it was in intense pain.

"That is dedication, let him rest Fie."
The white monkey nodding and took out two darts. Quickly he scrambled to the kangaroo and put both of the darts in the back of his neck. These darts were filled with a special knockout serum, one was enough to put you in a good sleep but two knocked the poor thing out right away. After this Fie ran over to Ash climbing up his shoulder (the one not bleeding) and looked at his partner with worry. "You okay?" "Been better wher-" "over there she doesn't look good." "got it" One hand over his bleeding shoulder he ran over to the hurt Gigi and picked her up (which was a pain for his wounded shoulder). Once he had the dog in his arms he started to back away while Fie kept a lookout to make sure no one tried to attack Ash at this moment.

The chilling cry of Strong planted the seed of terror in the heart of Zoe as she watched Simon rushing to find the woman as fast as he could. Pushing aside the carcasses of the fallen beasts she readied herself and hurried after everyone. When she entered the room the first thing she saw truly horrified her - the bleeding agent seemed to be in a very bad shape, no matter how many of here were adept medics she feared that even they might not be enough to save Strong from bleeding out. She shook her head as she regained her composure as she spoke to Strong, her voice being soft.

" Don't worry, Agent Strong, we will find a way through this. Together. " she smiled briefly as she turned her attention to Luness and the new girl. She was surprised how she sneaked past the guards and how she actually managed to defeat some on her own but it mattered not to her. She said that she was a medic so she trusted her.

" Do everything in your power. " she said, watching Luness dropping some tears on the wound, making it smaller so that the new girl could finish healing Strong. Releasing a sigh of relief she wandered around the room but she stopped when she noticed something eerily familiar on the ground. She knelt down to pick it up and her eyes widened in both surprise and horror - it was a petal of a rose, a black rose. It had been many years since she had seen this sign... but she knew exactly what it meant. Jimbo's words helped her snap out of her stupor as her hurried over to him only to find the bomb on the table.

" I have only dabbled in constructing electrical devices, never before did I need to defuse a bomb. " she scratched her head " I can try and help but... "

She suddenly felt a terrible pain in her belly as she turned away, coughing. As she covered her mouth with her hand she felt something coming up - blood, black blood to be more precise. Whatever coursed through her veins has accelerated its effect and now it started to poison her gradually. Wiping it off from her palm she turned around.

" We need to find a way to disarm this... I mean I can try and tinker with it but I would probably need a help of an expert. " she said with a surprisingly feeble voice " Or at least dampen the explosion radius somehow, draining the strength of the bomb in a way. Are there any deep graves here to throw it down to or something? "

The battle between the kangaroo and Eos approached its end as both of the animals panted in exhaustion. Various bruises painted their bodies crimson red and their tattered fur were bathing in blood and dirt. They were of equal match - at least at the start but now Eos finally started to gain an edge as his combat expertise allowed him to best his foe.

With a final charge he finally impaled the monstrous kangaroo, the mammal drawing its dying breath before falling on the floor - now finally defeated. As the old stag looked around he saw that the fight was far from over. Seeing how Alec stunned the buffalo and how Ash was dashing away with Gigi Eos decided to rush towards the incapacitated animal to finish it off. He, however, found out that the beast was still as ferocious as it was without these stunning bolts so he was glad to have this slight advantage. He managed to knock out the massive animal with a decisive hoof strike and he backed away, fatigue creeping on him.

" I am getting old for this... " he murmured as he tried to find a safer spot for Ash, shadowing him as a bulwark " I will protect you, worry not. Try to keep Gigi safe, I will block all advances of the enemy on our position. "

Hearing her name from a mile away, Xiao Hui blinked, turning her attention towards the person calling for her. Her eyes widened in surprise, that it was Alec and he looked. . beyond worried . . ? and mad. . ? She watched him carefully as he jumped down the building and landed with ease before reaching for her. "A-Alec!" She managed squeaked out slightly in surprise, but winced in pain slightly. Xiao Hui didn't know whether to feel embarrassed or grateful or glad to be with a familiar face. But, being as stubborn as she is, she tried to move away from Alec's peripheral vision as he tried to check on her wounds. Nevertheless she shrugged, "What can I say? I'm a lucky person. Like Crickee." Xiao Hui teased, lightening the mood, though the wound in her back said otherwise. However, hearing Alec joke about his warning of her watching her back, she laughed slightly, "I had it. . sorta. . though I have to admit, watching your own back can be a bit hard sometimes." However, soon, even Eos came over for a few minute, checking over and making sure she was alright. Nodding, Xiao Hui gave him her best smile, "Thank you for worrying, Eos, but now's not the time. We need to get Gigi and quickly." She said in a hushed and worried tone. It was weird, being fussed over, so, doing what she did most, she stepped back slightly, giving herself some space between her and Alec, plus she didn't want her blood on him. Looking over at Ash, Xiao Hui bit her lip, hoping he would be able to as the others call it, stall and charm his way to Boris. But, hearing Boris' defiance and his grip on Gigi tightening, Xiao Hui clenched her fist, hissing. Narrowing her eyes at the bear, Xiao Hui huffed, hearing him speak of another deal. No way in hell is she believing that bear. Thankfully, Alec had a solution to the problem, coming up with a plan quickly so Boris wouldn't notice. On the other hand, Laohu made sure the kangaroo wouldn't be kicking anyone as he took the opportunity of the wind being knocked out of the kangaroo and his paralyzed state thanks to Hui. Opening his mouth wide, he bit down on the Kangaroo's hip and legs, hard, making the Kangaroo squeal in horror and pain as Laohu bit until blood continued to bleed out of his legs. Stepping back, as Laohu didn't want dirty blood stained in him, Laohu growled in response before leaving the kangaroo there to die. Laohu held no remorse in his eyes as he heard his name being called by Alec.

However, a sudden surprise and a female voice appeared from the gates as she ran, taking Boris' attention away from the others, as the woman pleaded to Boris to not harm Gigi.
"Isabelle." Xiao Hui spoke softly, as she leaned against the tree, before looking over towards Alec. Not a moment longer, everyone went into action. Her eyes scanned the area, as Manjano was being treated by Bael, Wednesday had taken action, along with Falarion, Ash, and Totus triple teaming Boris, but even with all of their efforts, Boris still couldn't be knocked down, but, because of their distraction, Gigi was free. When a piercing light and explosion appeared on Boris, she saw him whipping around everywhere before Boris clamped down on Falarion's leg. Laohu saw Ash making a run for it when Fie was able to help Ash get the kangroo off his back. When Eos finished with his fight against the kangaroo and ran with the two, making sure they brought Gigi to safety. Speaking through the comms of the protective vest, Laohu spoke, "Eos, Ash, bring Gigi to Isabelle, and quickly get out of here!" With all of this commotion, Laohu quickly sprang over to where Manjano and Falarion were, wanting to get them away from the deranged bear. When Manjano threw the knife, Laohu leaped up at the same time and attempted to knock the bear over by ramming into his leg, hoping it was a weakened knee and the knock out was strong enough to let the bear let go of Falarion. On the other hand, Xiao Hui looked over and watched as Alex sprang into action, stunning the buffalos with his gun, making them topple to the ground in surprise. Seeing Wednesday and Cerci fight with the wolves, Xiao Hui took out her knives and began walking slowly, only to feel Laohu's attempt of ramming into the bear, as she winced, looking over at her surroundings as she saw blood splattered on the floor, her injured teammates, and the huge commotion. Keeping a tight grip on it, she hadn't known what to expect, as she looked at Duirk fighting off the Kangaroo as she saw Totus above. Seeing Isabelle on the other side, Xiao Hui quietly made her way over towards the woman, trying to get her out of harm's way as well. Getting to her, Xiao Hui spoke, trying to drag her away from choas, but in view of the others if they were to get Gigi to her, "How'd you get here?" Ignoring the scorching pain on her back, she had been too stubborn to let Bael work on her wounds as well. But, seeing Duirk's effort of dragging the kangaroo as its feet lashed out everywhere, she bit her lip, "Find a place where to help Gigi to safety, we need it, and fast." Slowly, but steathily walking near Duirk, far but close enough to be away from the kicking, Xiao Hui took advantage of the kangroo being dragged as she took her knife and hummed it just above it's hip, knowing the mark may miss cause of her injuries, but close enough to where it can pain the kangaroo for a while. But, seeing Duirk's effort, Xiao Hui felt proud of the hyena, but right now, she needed her teammates to flee the scene in case more reinforcements came.

Jhet calmed down a bit at the words of Bandit and nodded at Strong. She came over after the bird or what seemed to be a phoenix dropped tears on Strong making the wound smaller. Jhet took out some medical supplies and put them nearby on a table. First Jhet cleaned off the needle with a cleanex and dried it off. Then she put some contents of liquid into another needle and injected Strong with it,"Numb liquid I made. Safe and will keep her numb for at least five minutes, or at least everything she knows for now" Jhet said. After that she got the other needle that she cleaned and put a needle on it. Lastly Jhet stitched up Strong and put some mdical tape on it,"This will be fine for a while. You'll probably be fully back to health in three to four weeks,so until then you'll have to have stitches, but I'll take off the medical tape tomorrow" Jhet said feeling good.

Bandit went over to the girl, and looked at the bomb,"Wow this looks very complicated.Plus if you have a minor skill with electrical fences that is nothing compared to a bomb.Trust me I knew some people who knew that the hard way. Plus it has ten minutes left. That's enough to get us out. Plus no one will know cause the entrance for it will collapse and catocombs in France collapse all the time and no one noticed. So lets go.

Amber winced as Luness' tears fell onto her wound. They burned, but at the same time the sensation was relieving. Thanks to Jhet's local anasthetic she hardly felt the sticking at all.

"Thank you...both of you." She said quietly.

"Looks like we can move her." Calista mumbled, more than a little relieved. "Simon, can you carry her?"

At this Agent Strong tried to protest but Calista wouldn't have it. "We can't have you opening that wound that was just patched up."

She radioed HQ after that and gave them their location. Her voice echoed in the dank chamber as she spoke to the extraction agent.

"Yeah I know Darcy's pissed...No, the team is clear. I made the choice myself, this is on my head. Would you just get a chopper here? Or risking our lives to get agent Strong won't mean a damn thing! She still needs a hospital!" And it was true, the wound in her side was stable, but the torture the Rogues had subjected her too prior had caused severe internal bleeding in other areas of her body and she was still weakening.

Calista addressed the team soon after. "Chooper's on its way. Someone radio the other team."

At the mention of a bomb Calista's head whipped round. She darted over and joined Bandit on the table.

"I got nothing, never seen this model before...wait." She had heard Bandit read ten minutes and double-checked the digital clock face. "Its a false timer!" She flipped the device over and cursed. The real timer gave them much less. "We have 1 minute! Everyone get out NOW!"

Gigi felt someone lift her off the ground and recovered a little more after that, the the moment she heard Falarion shriek her head snapped up.

"Non!" She cried and kicked free of Ash's arms, laucnging herself fealressly at the bear. "Let 'im go!" She growled before biting down hard on Boris' face. The bear reeled back, releasing Falarion and rolling to his feet. Gigi sprang away and then fell by the injured Maned wolf.

A loud blast from the horn of the bus told them that Nigel was still outside the gardens.

"Everything okay? Is Gigi safe?" His voice over the com was laced with static.

Alec had ripped the hem of his shirt and was using that to stem Xiao's injury. "We need to get out of here, now. Anyone able help carry the wounded!"

He offered Xiao his arm to help her back onto the bus. "Its going to be ok, Gigi's safe for now."

Isabelle had wasted little time running to Gigi where she fell, but Gigi refused to be carried, she forced herself to her feet.

"Please Izzy...'elp Falarion." Isabelle looked worried, but nodded, lifting the wolf carefully to avoid knocking his injured leg. She didn't even glance at the blood now blossoming over her pristine shirt.

"To ze bus, quickly!"

When Alec had made sure Xiao was comfortable he set to work trying to stem the bleeding of Falarion's leg, making short work of it.

"Its a temporary fix, we need better equipment and more skilled doctors."

"Christ, looks like you've been through world war three!" Nigel exclaimed as he saw them come in.

Alec glanced back to the gardens. The bodies of the kanagroos lay there, graphically mangled in contrast to the quiet park setting. Boris was gone.

He felt lucky he had gotten out this time with only a bruise. The bullet graze on his shoulder had opened up again however and stained his clean shirt. He wasn't looking forward to explaining that one to Leandra, but at least they had completed their mission. There was just the matter of the other team.

Alec radioed them using his com link.

"We have Gigi, got messy for a moment there, some of us are hurt pretty bad, but we made it. Everything okay on your end?"

Totus was glad his attack helped, he really was. It was nice that he just saved Ash's neck, literally. He was less pleased when Boris's paw came racing towards him and batted him out of the sky like a butterfly. Really, he hated bears.

His whole body was throbbing, especially his right side. His wing felt like a wet noodled taped to his body. But when he pulled himself up and saw that everyone seemed to be okay and the team began making a break for the bus, he tried to put the pain beuind him. And failed. He hopped a few meters toward the bus and then called out, "If anyone has a free hand, I think my wing is dislocated."

Beth was still looking at the machine when the bomb was found. She closed her eyes and forced a deep breath. Well, she always was good at running away. She took one last look at the details of the machine. It would probably be destroyed in the blast.

Alec's voice crackled in her ear, giving a status update and asking about them. She linked in and responded.

"We picked up Strong plus one other. Give us a minute while we run like hell." She tried hard to not chuckle at that.

Cedar, we're going. Help Manjano.

On it.

Bael heaved himself up, watching as Cedar darted over to Manjano's side. "I'll help you away," the bear offered quickly.

"Come on, Wednesday." Bael looked at the young woman before he heard Totus call. He turned, studying the owl before heading off to help him. "I'll get you." He picked the bird up and studied the wing as they went before shaking his head. "I don't know if I'll be able to do much, Totus. I'm sorry -- I've not studied bird anatomy much. Maybe Wednesday can look at it when we get out of here."

Jhet went over to Bandit Calista and the other. She quickly got out her phone and took a picture of the bombs wires. Damn were they complicated. One over the other under than one ii and out. It was so complicated it was almost repettitive. Jhet then picked up Bandit and smiled,"Alright. Now lets run and feel like we're Olympic runners even though we're not." When Gigi kicked away from him Ash let out a groan of pain as he felt his shoulder burn from the sudden movement. He was forced to drop her as he grabbed his heavily bleeding shoulder. Looking at it he panted a bit. 'Too much blood to tell how bad it is.' He thought as he watched Gigi help Flaraion, ready to step in if the situation called for it. However he wasn't needed in the end as Boris left and the rest of his lackeys either left or were on the ground unconscious and or dying. Taking a deep breath Ash kept a firm grip on his shoulder as he walked to the bus as well. "That could ha-" "Gone better Kehehe." "Really? Now? Fie you are such a pai-" "But ya love meh! Heheh Are you okay there Ashy? That looks pretty nasty." "I don't think it hit bone... But a doctor would be nice, this pain... Honestly surprised I'm so calm. I'm more worried abou-" "About the fact it may leave a scare? Heh." "Nice try...but no. My chest, got hit by Boris and gods he has a hard head...something I figured out when he wouldn't listen to me." He muttered as he glanced at some animal corpses. "It's okay Ashy you tried...no one died." "But people got hurt. I should have planned this out better." "In a fight peeps are going to get hurt~ You know that. It's like when you use a bomb where a lot of people are at. Someone going to get hurt best you can do is try to get as few hurt as possible." ".........Where's Fie and what have you done to him???" "Kehehe He's mine! I have him locked away in the basement where he plays drums for my entertinament! Kehehe Come on Ashy, let's get you patched up before you start to wallow like a swallow keheh."

Ash rolled his eyes and looked around, seeing Bael and Totus he walked over to them. "Bael right? Since your busy, do you have any bandages I can use. I need to stop the bleeding." He said with a small smile as he looked at the man.

Simon watched as Luness and the new girl went to work on Strong. Now more than ever he was thankfull to be surrounded by friends with so many different skills that could benefit the team as a whole. Within moments, Strong was all patched up and Simon went to work and snapping the restraints that held her to the machine.

That's when he over heard Calista speak up and Simon turned around to see the civet hovering over the bomb. Simon's eyes went wide and he undid the last of the restraints and slowly lifted Strong from the table.

"Hold on tight. Calista."

Sumon tilted his shoulder giving the civet the opportunity to ride along with amber during the escape before turning towards the door. Jimbo was already outside the room looking down the hall and then back inside nervously.

"Come on folks, let's get a move on."

Jimbo tried to speak up and loud so that everyone in the room could hear him and those down the hall stI'll as well. Once Simon was on the move with Amber, a Jimbo began moving back down the hall as well. As they passed through the areas where the boar had first appeared, Jimbo called out to Rin and Haku to get a move on before stumbling upon a very unusual sight in the hall. To Jimbo, it appeared Leandra had managed knock out an escaping Merch and was now attempting to figure out what to do with him. Jimbo looked down at the man then to Leandra, then Luness. He sighed as he scooped up the man and tossed him over his shoulder, not really trying to be gentle with him, before turning to Leandra and wrapping a big furry arm around the girl and continuing on his trek back through the path of destruction.

"Sorry bout this Leamdra, but there's a bomb and we gotta get moving. What's with this guy?"

Jimbo gave the guy draped over his shoulder a shrug, bouncing him a bit. As he continued through the tunnels with impressive speed switching between his one free knuckle and his back legs, he turned around to see Simon ducking and huddling the labrynth of destruction trying his best to keep Amber from jostling to much.

As Laohu and Gigi both fearlessly attacked Boris, Falarion was immensely relieved when the bear released him, only for him to face plant after gravity remembered to do its job. Fun.

Glancing sideways at Gigi, and immensely grateful when his vision returned as the flashbang effects wore off (even if the vision only returned to one eye since he was still half blind), Falarion instantly forgot his own injury, as he began weakly struggling to his paws while saying, "Gigi! Are you okay? Were you hu-"

Gasping at the immense pain shooting up his injured leg and into his shoulder, Falarion stumbled back to the ground and focused on his breathing, as he lay there panting.

When Gigi told Isabelle to carry him instead of herself, Falarion opened his muzzle to protest, but was too weak to actually voice his thoughts.

Terrified to look at his own injury, Falarion let himself go limp in Isabelle's arms, his vision in his good eye going in and out of focus as his heart raced.

As Alec went to work on cleaning up his injury, Falarion let out a frightened whimper, as pain kept shooting up his leg and into his shoulder. That couldn't be a good sign...

@SilverFlight

Meanwhile, Manjano had fallen to his knees when his initial attack had missed Boris, fearing that his vain attempt would result in Falarion becoming crippled from his one leg or worse.

Luckily, Laohu and Gigi both sprang to action in the moment, saving Falarion from Boris, who quickly retreated with whoever else on his team still remained.

Boris was definitely in the top three on his hit list now. He was going to pay for making Falarion suffer like this. Manjano would make sure of it.

When Cedar came to his side to help him to the bus, which everyone was more or less limping towards, Manjano didn't bother acting tough, as he felt like he was toeing the line between being conscious and passing out.

With the help of Cedar, Manjano was able to put his weight on the bear and then safely get himself to the bus.

By the time he had boarded with the others, Manjano lay down on the first set of seats he could find that were across from Falarion.

If he'd had the energy to do so, Manjano probably would've glared at Nigel for his comment simply because Manjano wanted to be angry at someone. While Gigi was still okay and hadn't been dog-napped or whatever, he still felt like that mission hadn't been much of a success. The team had been beaten badly and Boris had escaped. Plus, they had no one left over to interrogate.

Both weren't faring too well and soon Manjano felt his vision waning again while his injury began to bleed through the bandages already.

Leandra and Luness continued to go back and forth on how to handle the unconscious man until Alec spoke up over the coms.

Both instantly were quiet, as Leandra thought for a moment before starting to respond, only to stop when Beth spoke up. Run like hell? Why would we be running like hell?

Overhearing Jimbo saying something down the tunnel, Leandra furrowed her brows and gave Luness a confused look only to find Luness mirroring the look. Well, that's helpful.

Before either of them could move to look down the tunnel or ask over the coms what was happening, Jimbo appeared around the corner, briefly taking in the sight of the unconscious man in front of Leandra and Luness.

Opening her mouth to explain what had happened, Leandra was cut off and instead let out a surprised shriek, as Jimbo picked her and the unconscious man up with ease, leaving an equally surprised Luness to fly after them since she could no longer balance on Leandra's shoulder.

Shaking her head amusingly as she flew overhead in pace with Jimbo, Luness then said, "Do try to relax, Lea, dear."

Scowling at this, Leandra tried to glare up at Luness, but found it impossible to do so at her angle.

Folding her arms across her chest while being carried by Jimbo as if she were some unruly child, Leandra then said in a pouty tone, "I had everything under control."

Chuckling, Luness instantly responded, "Of course, dear."

Bael studied Ash for several moments. "Sure, but I'll want to take a look at that. Hang on." He fished in his bag, carefully placing Totus on his shoulder so that the owl could balance there. He found what he was looking for -- bandages and a vial of liquid, the glass dark, which he opened, and added some of the liquid to the bandage. "That oughta help the bleeding a bit. There's only so much you can do on the field, y'kno'. Didn't have time to put together a proper kit," he added apologetically. He looked around at the others and cringed. Everyone was poorly off. He could still feel the intense pain in his shoulder, but it was dulling slowly, and he was beginning to realize his pain tolerance was higher than he initially thought.

Zoe watched in silence as the others talked about the bomb and she just paid attention as much as she could. She wanted to speak, to add her own thoughts to the conversation but she just could not muster the strength - only now did she realize how exhausted and drained she was from all this. But just as relief would have washed over her the dread realization of Calista gave her an another burst of adrenaline she needed to wake up her instincts - and jolted after the others as they ran.

The whole place swam as she looked around, the catacombs were blurry as her focus waned over time. Still, she mustered the strength to run as fast as she could even when her legs were burning from the pain. They had to make it out alive - they had to escape.

----

Eos shadowed Ash as he watched Gigi dash away to help Falarion. He wanted to help her but he reeled from the encounter with the vicious kangaroos and his body was telling him to stay put and move towards the extraction point. As he did so he managed to climb into the bus, collapsing on the floor, finally breathing with ease. It was wonderful to finally rest and relax for a moment - and with silence he observed the others as they recollected their strength.

Totus stepped carefully onto Bael's shoulder, his injured wing hanging in an ugly way next to his body. "Thank you, Bael. I can wait for treatment, but there was no way I was going to hop to the bus." He said, then waited patiently as Bael treated the wounds of Ash and the others. The bear was gone, and the team was in tatters. But at least Gigi was still safe. Beth's voice iin her ear let him know she was okay... for now. If he was capable of scowling, he would have at that moment.

@Sleipnir

Beth stepped away from the machine and watched the others get ready to move. She let the others go in front of her and brought up the rear, crossbow at the ready. But she quickly realized cover fire wasnt needed. What was needed, was someone to keep Zoe on her feet. The woman was running fast enough, but something was clearly not right. She seemed to be completely off balance. Beth hung the crossbow over her shoulder and put her arm around Zoe's waist. "Let me help you before you faceplant." She muttered, matching her strides with Zoe while making sure she stayed upright and ran in a relatively straight line.

Wednesday and Cerci followed the others back to the bus. Wednesday moved quickly and on her own, looking back only to make sure that Cerci was on her way. The moon bear, however, hung back and only followed once she saw that all of the others who were injured were helped back. She ran just behind Gigi and Isabelle, eager to make sure that the pair did not get left behind.

Once back, Wednesday looked around to see who she could help. Manjano had been taken care of by Bael earlier, though obviously more could have been done with the proper tools. Wednesday knew they wouldn't have those here, though. When she saw Alec get back she saw that most had been taken care of or would soon be- she imagined Alec would take care of Xiao himself given that he seemed to have helped her back to the bus, anyway. She had heard Totus mention his wing, but had never studied any sort of animal physiology. She'd helped nurse little birds back to health with her father as a child, but who knows if they did it correctly, and she didn't feel like taking chances with an ally.

Cerci concerned herself a bit more with Isabelle and Gigi,

"Are you two okay?" She asked the pair as they got back to the bus, looking them over. Of course, she had no ability to help if they weren't physically okay, she was more curious how their brains were holding up.

@SilverFlight

As Laohu was able to use his upper strength and ram into Boris as much force as he could, Gigi sprang into action, biting Boris' face. In that moment, Laohu's jaw dropped, seeing the poodle attacking the bear with so much zest and bravery. He had to give it up to the poodle, she had major courage for doing what she did to protect Falarion. However, seeing his friends on the ground made him growl at the bear even more, as he stood in a stance that showed Boris that he wasn't backing down and there was no way in hell he'd let them hurt his friends any longer. But, hearing a loud blaring noise from the bus outside, Laohu's attention was drawn away as Isabelle came over, panic-strickened and worried for Gigi. Alas, she had reluctantly carried Falarion for Gigi's sake . On the other hand, due to a quick response from Manjano and Bael's quickened medical aid, it looked like Manjano would pull through, but it looked like he'd collapse any minute as Cedar came and helped him to the bus. Soon, Ash and Totus were getting aided by Wednesday and Bael as Laohu looked over at Gigi, seeing her hurt and in pain as he growled softly, seeing the injuries on her. "Let me help you, Gigi. I'll put you on my back so we can get on the bus with others. Hold on as tight as you can." Laohu said in concern before walking over to her as he used his head to support Gigi, as he maneuvered her carefully onto his back with his head and body. "You okay?" He asked, "Nice work out there. Now rest, don't be afraid to use my back as you please, just be comfortable." Laohu spoke softly before trotting off towards the bus. For a white tiger, he had a wider back than most bengal tigers and so Gigi's petite size could effortlessly lay on his back without falling even if she didn't hold on tight enough. Laohu was protective of his teammates and the company he was surrounded by. He wished he could help Totus with his wings, but then he remembered Alec was a vet, "You can always ask Alec," Laohu spoke out-loud as he found himself in the bus, "when he's finished, perhaps he can take a look at your wings, Totus." He finished as Laohu went over towards Isabelle and gently helped Gigi down from his back and next to her companion, but also close enough so she could keep an eye on Falarion. Hearing Wednesday speaking to Gigi and Isabelle, Laohu decided to give them some space as Laohu drifted away, his brows furrowing anxiously as he looked for his partner.

On the other hand, Xiao Hui had jumped slightly as she heard the honking noise of the bus and Nigel's voice. Looking over at Alec as he approached her as the kangaroo wouldn't be a problem anymore thanks to Duirk, Xiao Hui eased her shoulders. Seeing Alec using his shirt to stem her wound, Xiao Hui sent a soft smile and mummbled a low,
"Thank you." She was grateful that Alec had told her it would be okay, even if she, herself, didn't believe it. It was nice to have someone else tell her those words instead of the other way around. Taking Alec's arm wordlessly, she followed him to the bus as she was greeted by everyone else. Her eyes scanned her companions, almost every single one of them didn't leave the scene unscathed. Xiao Hui's heart sank, though she kept a small smile on her face as she greeted everyone, "I'm glad to see everyone still here. Hey, Nigel." She spoke softly and genuinely as her eyes caught Eos resting. Before Alec helped her get comfortable, Xiao Hui gently patted Eos' head. Soon, her eyes caught Laohu's as he walked over towards her, jumping next to her, and placed his head on her lap before talking to Eos, "You put up a noble fight, Eos." Gently slipping her finger through his fur, Xiao Hui watched Alec as he worked on Falarion's leg. Once Alec radioed them in, Xiao Hui caught at the corner of her eyes, Alec's shirt being stained red as she bit her lip frowning lightly. Looking around, Xiao Hui saw the first aid kit and grabbed a few bandages as well. Once Alec finished helping Falarion's wounds, she placed bandages in front of his face and signaled towards his shoulders. "Let me help you, now." Lifting up his head, Laohu spoke up, "Before that, will you see Totus' wing, Alec?" He asked for him as Xiao Hui glanced over at Totus on Bael's shoulder then towards Manjano who needed to get to the hospital and fast. Xiao Hui looked over at Alec, "You're going to get that cleaned and stitched up again, later." She said in a tone that didn't leave room for argument as she placed the bandages in Alec's hands, hoping he'd be able to help Totus as well. Soon, guilt plagued her mind as she thought back to how they got here in the first place. If she hadn't egged them on so early in the game, perhaps things would be different. Perhaps, Ash, Bael, Manjano, Wednesday, Gigi, Alec, and the rest wouldn't be in such a predicament. Laohu nuzzled against Xiao Hui, gently enough to not let her wounds cause her pain. "Don't think like that, Hui. No one expected this to happen. It was a risk we all took." He encouraged, trying to support her. Thanking Laohu for his encouragement, Xiao Hui still couldn't help the knawing feeling in her stomach as the bus started moving away from the scene as she took one last glance at it before turning away.

"My lady." Nigel tipped an invisible hat at Xiao as she greeted him. "We'll rendez-vous with the other half of your team, shouldn't be a minute, Montparnassus cemetary isn't all that far away."

Gigi thanked Laohu for his assistance once they were safely on the bus. "I am allright now, thank you Monsieur Le Tigre." After she had recovered some she went to watch Falarion's treatment with a worried expression.

Alec came up behind Bale and watched him work. "I think I can handle Totus now, if you like."

He did his best for Totus, he carefully popped the joint back into its socket and binding it carefully to the bird'd side so the weight was well-supported and off the joint. "Try not to move it, we'll have an avian specialist look at it when we can find one."

After seeing to the owl Alec knelt beside Eos, checking him for injuries as well while maintaining a respectful distance.

"Never would have guessed you could fight like that old man." He said with a smile. "Zoe's in good hands...or, hooves."

It was then Xiao noticed that he'd torn his stitches and he looked up at her with a sheepish smile. "Allright, I would be grateful if you could patch it up...thanks Xiao."

When Cerci spoke to her Gigi turned to the moon bear with a grateful expression. "I will 'ave a bruise on my neck, but I am otherwise un'armed. Thank you all so much for protecting me."

Isabelle had kept her peace until that moment. "What were you thinking Gigi! You could have been killed!"

Gigi shot the human a cold look. "Ah non, we cannot 'ave your precious star injured, even if it is for ze sake of another's life."

Isabell elooked taken aback by the bitter, sarcastic comment. "That's not what I--"

"For all zis time you 'ave pushed me to become an international sensation, when I never wanted any of it!"

The confession surprised Alec, and shocked Duik enough that he slapped both his paws over his mouth.

"Gigi...I thought you loved to sing, it was your favorite thing in the world I...I wanted you to be happy."

The poodle shook her head, her face covered in dirt from the gardens. "I loved singing for you...I loved it because it made you 'appy, but you are seldom zat 'appy anymore, and I never see you, so zere is no joy left in it for me."

"Gigi..." This time Isabelle paused and considered every word her companion said. Finally she reached forward and pulled Gigi into a tight hug.

"I am so sorry...I didn't realize." Tears sprang from the corners of her eyes, and Gigi began to sniff.

"Gigi...I am so sorry for everything."

Calista took Simon up on his offer and launched herself at his shoulder. She had to admit is was much more spacious than Amber's, she found a grip easily.

It was an odd thing to think given they were now running for their lives.

The tunnel twisted and turned before them as bones, broken furniture, ice and the bodies of the unfortunte mercs flashed by.

Calista heard the blast before she felt the earth shake, and the heat that came racing up behind them, ripping the walls apart as it did.

They made it out in the nick of time, the ones running in the back may have had hair and tails singed, but for the most part from what Calista saw when she looked back the team was in one piece. The structure that had once held the entrance to the catacombs now lay in absolute ruins. A perfedct pile of rubble in the damp, grey and green cemetary landscape

"Let's never do that again." She said, trying to untangle her sharp claws from Simon's clothing. "Everyone ok?"

There was a transmission from Nigel soon after. "Headed to your location, what's your status? Alec said something about 'running for your lives'?"

Calista answered grumpily. "Yeah, there was some of that. We're not dead, can't say that much for the Rogue's underground lab though...a detonation made sure we can't get anything useful out of the place."

In the distance a helicopter could be heard, coming to take them all back to HQ and the much needed medical facilities

It wasn't long before Nigel showed up with the bus and opened the doors. "Pickup is in the center area, that's where the rest of the team is." He said to his passengers "Its best you all get on that helicopter, I'll make sure Gigi and Isabelle get home safe."

Isabelle stood at that moment, "Actually, if it is not too much trouble...I think we're due at an animal rights rally." She smiled at Gigi, whose eyes lit up as she smiled back.

Totus nodded to Laohu tiredly and hopped off Bael's shoulder near Manjano. He perched on the top of the seat Falarion was stretched out on, but his eyes mostly watched Manjano. Annoyance flickered across his face, but he quelled it. Beth would want him to make sure her new friends were okay. The others were mostly alright, but Manjano looked terrible.

Totus's focus was broken when Alec approached, and he winced as the joint popped back into place. "Thank you, very much." He said, once the wing was secure. It felt a lot better that way.

He half-listened to Gigi and Isabelle, making note that Beth had been right about them all along.

He would have returned to keeping an eye on Manjano, but Nigel announced they were close to the other team. He looked eagerly out the window, searching for his blonde haired mistress.

Beth darted out of the tunnel with Zoe just in time. She could feel the heat on her back, and when she turned her head over her shoulder, she found that the hem of her shirt was blackened. Wow. That was close. She could hear the chopper in the distance, and knew she should wait for it to arrive, but she just couldn't when she saw the bus pull up at the other end of the cemetery and stop.

"Totus!" She squeaked to her team, and then broke into another dead sprint, rushing onto the bus without a thought. Had Totus been larger, she would have tackled him, but she had to settle for scooping him up and cradling him against her chest. He had a bandage around one wing, and she fussed over it with a pout.

"Its fine, crazy woman. Just dislocated. Alec already fixed it." His voice was muffled, but the joy was obvious. "You might want to take a look at your best friend over there."

Beth looked down at Totus, confused, and then realize he must be talking about Manjano. Carefully, Totus moved to her shoulder as she crouched next to him and tenderly lifted his arm to look at it. Beth glanced over at the injured Falarion and frowned.

"Dear lord.." She found a wrap of gauze and added another layer to Manjano's arm, hoping the extra pressure would slow the bleeding on the ride in the chopper.

"Alright, sleeping beauty, lets go. You needed to be on that chopper five minutes ago."

When Ash boarded the bus he went to the back and sat down alone for the time being (after having given Bael a thank you for the quick patch up) and sighed as he shook his head. "Well... This outfit is ruined. " He said with a light laugh as he looked at his blood soaked dress shirt and vest. leaning back in his seat a small groan left him as he moved his shoulder which was hurting quite a bit. Now this wasn't his first physical wound that made him bleed and sadly it probably wasn't his last, but still... Just because he's been shot, sliced and bit doesn't make getting punched in the shoulder with bladed gloves from a kangaroo any better. Once he was able to ignore most of the pain he pulled out his wallet and silently starred at it, the frown that was on his lips soon turned a soft caring smile as he looked at the picture. And soon another light laugh left him when he looked at another older picture of the two. 'I need to visit them soon. I hope we get a bit of free time before going back to base.' He thought as he stayed silent for the entire ride despite the lovely ladies (and men) that could use his attention.

Fie saw Ash needed a little alone time so he had left him and gone up to the front of the bus with the others. Holding onto a pole he looked down at Gigi and Isabella with surprise as they talked. By the end of Fie almost had to grab a tissue, 'stupid tear gas.' He thought as he shook his head before hoping from the pole and over to Xaio. Landing on the seat in front of her he climbed to the top and then looked her in the face with a grin. "Hiya, you remember me right? Ashy BBFF." He said sounding a little chipper. "Are you okay missy? Ashy would be the one to ask usually but he's being a loner right now keheh So I have to do his charming work for him.... Let's see how does he do it??" He mumbled before snapping his fingers and digging into his bag. He then handed her a head of a rose that he...barrowed from the garden. Clearing his throat he bowed his head and handed it to her. "Um...This rose. Something something charming. Is for you because other thing that's sweet.... And here you go!" With that he tossed the rose head to her lap and giggled. "Nailed it! I'm pre-" Before he could finish Ash had grabbed Fie by the tail and held the giggling monkey to his side. "......Sorry for the idiot he-" "Loveable idiot!" "Sorry for that." Ash said as he shook his head.

"Also I apologize for putting you so close to danger like that. I didn't think the situation would go south so fast and I was slightly unprepared for it all."
Ash said with a small sigh. He turned to leave but stopped and looked back at her with a smile. "Though just so you know, that rose Fie got you, isn't even close to your real beauty, both inside and out." He said before walking back to the bus. "Kehehe! Best wing ma-" "Just hush now." Ash said as he placed a hand over Fie's mouth.

When the bus came to a halt Ash put away his wallet and took the tape off of Fie's mouth. He then got up and left the bus while Fie sat on his uninjured shoulder while pulling his hair. "Pulling my hair because?" "You taped my mouth because?" "You wouldn't hush." "Your hair is too purple." "What reason is that??" "What reason is that??" ".....Really?" ".....Really?" "You are immature sometimes you know that right?" "You are immature sometimes you know that right?" "Fie." "Fie" Ash looked at the monkey with a glare who knew damn well the copy cat game irritated Ash to no end. Fie on the other hand grinned and gave Ash's hair another tug before letting go and just sitting on his lap.

Simon and Jimbo dashed through the maze of the underground labyrinth. Simon's face was like stone, he wasn't going to risk something clumsy and tripping so he focused on getting out. Keeping his eyes fixed on the back of Jimbo's head as he ran, his speed only seemed to increase with the sound of the explosion vibrating the corridors and hallways of bone and bodies. The wave of heat coming up from behind them told Jimbo that if they didn't reach the entrance soon they were going to be incredibly crispy under all the rubble of the caverns.

Finally, the light of the outside world shone through the tunnel leading up the stairs they had entered. Jimbo leapt the stairs 2 at a time, Simon followed suit and finally the pair burst through the entrance with their arms full of people. Simon slid to a stop on the grass outside as he quickly turned around to see the tunnel collapsing in a burst of flames and dust. He hadn't realised it, but he had been holding his breath at the last few steps and finally released it as he relaxed his arms a bit and looked from Calista to Strong.

Jimbo was completely out of breath as he got Leandra and the man away from the collapsing entrance and dropped them both instantly. He lay down on the grass on his back trying to catch his breath while the others collected themselves and called into the bus. After he finally caught his breath he lifted himself up off the ground on his forearms and looked over to Simon. The big guy gave Jimbo a smile and a thumbs up from underneath Ambers back as they both stood and began heading for the chopper Calista had called out.

"I vote, we never do that again."

Simon carried Amber over to the helicopter where a pair of medical staff exited with a stretcher. Simon gently lowered Amber onto the board and the men began to strap her down to help keep her still. Kneeling over her, he smiled down at her and tried to put on a convincing smile.

"How about next time you get captured, it's somewhere sunny and not life threatening huh?"

Simon watched as the Medic's hoisterd her up and headed for the chopper with Simon right behind them.

Jimbo watched as they loaded Amber and Simon followed after. He then turned back to Leandra and Luness and looked down at the merch sparled out in the grass.

"So, care to fill me in on why we didn't let this one turn into roasted compost like the others?"

Trying in vain to act tough and cover up his whimpering from moments ago, Falarion glanced over at Gigi and said in a pained tone, "Hey, don't look so worried. It's only a flesh wound."

Meekly grinning at her, Falarion then winced when pain shot up his leg again. Okay, maybe it wasn't merely a flesh wound.

Hearing Isabelle suddenly going off on Gigi, Falarion let out a low growl protectively, but quickly shut up when Gigi shot back at Isabelle harshly. Dang. Duly noted to never get on Gigi's bad side.

Hearing Gigi's confession, Falarion's eyes widened and he could only look at Gigi in mute surprise. She never wanted to be a star? Wait...what?

As Isabelle made up with Gigi, Falarion couldn't resist saying, "Aww..."

Realizing he'd said that out loud, Falarion quickly shut his muzzle and tried to bury himself into the seat cushion, only to result in more pain from his leg and another whimper. Dang it.

As it was announced that it was time for them to make their way to the helicopter, Falarion's heart began racing, as he knew there was no way he could make it there on his own. Plus, Manjano was also badly hurt so there was no way he could carry Falarion there.

Folding his ears against his head, Falarion struggled to sit up just enough so he could look around the bus and try to figure out who he should ask for help.

Yet, when Nigel mentioned getting Gigi and Isabelle home safely, Falarion started to get a bad feeling. Was Nigel insinuating that...?

Sure enough, Isabelle spoke up about the animal rights rally and Falarion's heart sunk, as he knew that this meant it was time for him to say goodbye to Gigi.

Lowering his head back onto the seat cushion while tears welled up in his eyes, Falarion let out yet another whimper before picking his head up and looking at Gigi. She looked so happy now with Isabelle.

Struggling to find any words, Falarion finally decided on saying to Gigi with a pained and scared tone, "It was, um, really nice to meet and get to know you, Gigi. I'll, uh...I'll miss you. A lot."

@SilverFlight

Meanwhile, Manjano missed everything happening around him, as his vision continued to go in and out of focus while his breathing continued on erratically.

Manjano's mind was swimming with thoughts, though the most prominent one was him wondering if it'd be okay for him to just pass out now that they were safe. Wasn't that something you weren't supposed to do, though? Maybe it didn't really matter now...

Before he had the chance to actually pass out, Beth suddenly appeared at his side and Manjano could only wearily glance at her before grunting when she lifted his arm to get a better look at it.

Luckily, Manjano was so out of it, he'd completely missed out on Totus creeping on him. Unluckily, he was so out of it that he hadn't even noticed Beth was there until she'd moved his arm. Not the best way to be greeted by someone.

As Beth added another layer to his bandaging that was already being stained by his blood, Manjano weakly glanced at her in time for her to make the sleeping beauty comment.

Still dazed and confused, Manjano could only blink at her before closing his eyes and letting out a sigh at the mention of having to get up and move again. He was definitely not feeling up to that. He also knew with how much blood he'd lost that he'd probably be lightheaded and face plant the minute he tried to stand up. Not something he was entirely keen on doing.

Ironically when they escaped the flames of the bomb, Luness held back on purpose to enjoy the heat blast while the others raced ahead to escape it. For a phoenix with heat resistance, the flames and heat simply felt nice to her. Of course, being buried in rubble did not sound nice so she flew just fast enough to enjoy the heat, but also not get caught in any rubble.

Once they were outside and safe, Luness circled over Jimbo so as to stay near Leandra, who was unceremoniously dropped onto the grass.

Landing with a gasp, and on her face, Leandra then slowly pushed herself up until she was standing once more before glaring at Jimbo.

Hearing his mention of the baddie they'd saved, Leandra angrily held up her hand and began counting off her fingers to hopefully make a point.

"First, never, ever do that to me again. I do not appreciate being man-handled like that, Jimbo. Second, my face plant was not funny, Lune."

Having chuckled when Leandra had landed, Luness perfectly chose this moment to glance away nonchalantly as if she were suddenly distracted by something.

"Third, the baddie is still alive because I refuse to kill someone. I'm not going to let him kill anyone, but I'm still not going to drop to his level and kill him on sight. And finally, we saved him because he most likely will have some useful information for us. He may not know the exact plan unfolding, but he could give us some insight on what's happening or, at least, he could tell us where they're going to strike next. You never know."

Once she was done speaking, Leandra crossed her arms over her chest defiantly, only to drop them when Nigel pulled up in the bus and opened its doors. The other team was here now...were they all okay?

Leandra's mind instantly went to Manjano and Falarion so she didn't waste any time in sprinting over to the bus and then pausing uncertainly at the open doors. If anyone was injured in there, she might get in their way by rushing onto the bus like Beth had done moments ago.

Nervously, Leandra knitted her fingers together in front of herself before stepping out of the way of anyone exiting and then shifting about on her feet while waiting to see if her brother and Falarion were okay. Knowing the two, they probably had gotten injured somehow. They both had a hero's complex for sure.

Noting how upset and nervous Leandra was, Luness took to the sky and began circling around the bus to get a better view of what was happening inside. She couldn't hear anything, but it looked like Gigi and Isabelle had made up to each other.

It didn't take long for Luness to sight Falarion laying on a seat, one of his front legs bandaged up. Another circling later, and Luness sighted Manjano as well. He looked to have a serious injury to his arm that was still bleeding a bit, but Beth was helping him now.

Hearing Luness' observations, Leandra only grew more nervous, this time for Falarion since Manjano was being taken care of by Beth now. Those two clearly had a thing going on and Leandra felt reassured that Beth was at his side now.

Jhet was running like crazy. She felt like every turn they made the explosion would advance on them. As she got out her suit got singed,"Well it's useless now." Jhet said taking off her gear and throwing it on the ground revealing her body. Jhet stretched for a sec and headed over to Amber,"What do I do now?" she asked feeling a bit on bad side, but on good side because she just escaped a Michal Bay explosion. It was beautiful. To Jhet anyway. Bandit looked at Jhet and went to her ear,"If she wants you to join them I'll say it" Bandit said feeling like his bet would've been correct.

Beth smirked a little. "Sigh at me all you want, you still have to get to that chopper." She said gently, and glanced at Totus. The owl hopped over and took her place next to Manjano. Beth herself stood and began searching the bus for her backpack.

Totus tilted his head at Manjano, and said, "Raising your arm above your chest should help slow the bleeding."

Beth pulled her bag on and returned to the front. She moved Totus up to her shoulder and looked down at Manjano. She was a small woman, and he was a little too big for her to move herself, even if he could stay mostly upright himself. Which he didnt look capable of. Luckily, the medics from the helicopter started heading toward the bus. She stepped into the doorway and waved, causing them to move faster. She glanced at Leandra, and gave her a small nod before going back inside.

They would be able to bring a backboard onto the bus and move him onto that before putting him on the stretcher. While they made their way over and prepared, Beth pulled an emergency blanket out of her pack and threw it over Manjano. "Keeping you warm will help with possible shock. The medics are almost here."

Beth stood for a moment and swept her eyes over the other people on the bus. "Medics are almost over here. If you need attention and can walk, meet them outside the bus."
