Active [Clockhaven] Investigate Around And Find Out

"Nothing can stop me!! Shihihihi!!" Having freed herself from the vine, the fae performed a brief victorious dance, seemingly disregarding the hectic situation outside. Though her celebration was interrupted by two things that immediately happened. Victorique suddenly busted into the house, uncover a hidden safe and went into trance.

"I-is that a treasure box??!" Simi's eyes glimmered when she saw the safe, it might not be the traditional buried wooden box, but it's still a container where people store and hide their valuables right?

"Everyone, formation barnacle!" Rallying the sea gels, Simi pointed towards Victorique. The sea gels understand what the formation supposedly mean as it wasn't their first time using it. They immediately surround the halfling, using their bigger bodies to completely hide her from sight and guard her from incoming attack with their bodies. Simi nodded with satisfaction, now she must focus to deal with their new guests, or rather, her frequent visitors.

"Let's go, Potty. Time for plan T... Tactical Retreat!!" Simi yelled so her voice could be heard within the house. Potty answered with an eager gawk as he perched back on Simi's shoulder. She then proceed to ran out of the house through the north gate, letting out a squeal when she saw the skeletal pirates emerged from the basement.

Action:
1) Order minions to protect Victorique by surrounding her
2-3) Run outside the building to the north

Orchid's attack did a good job wiping out most of the horde, though there were a few that managed to survive. Orchid was going to need to reevaluate her abilities later, someone must've updated the system if her attack somehow managed to miss these enemies so close to her. As the enemies lashed out at her, she didn't bother dodging, relying on her Orichalcum Plate Armor (Rank C) to withstand the blows. Instead she positioned her poleaxe in a ready stance, blade at waist-height to the pumpkin zombie behind her. As they swarmed her, and their claws clash against her armor, she stepped forward with a WHIRLWIND ATTACK, aiming to decapitate the three zombies. Carrying the momentum of her swing into a 360, she'd aim to slice apart their pumpkin heads: while she doubts that they'd survive the first attack, better safe than sorry and destroy their brains. Or whatever is keeping them alive.

However some more pumpkins managed to escape to the north, and there was still that giant to the south. Orchid had to weigh her options. Victorique was somewhere inside, probably safe. At the very least these enemies weren't inside, yet. And while the investigator is good at dodging trouble, better to make sure that trouble doesn't find her in the first place. Thus Orchid decides to head north to deal with the rest of those pumpkin zombies: they're the only ones small enough to potentially sneak inside, so the sooner they're dealt with, the easier it'll be for Orchid to keep tabs of any giants outside to eliminate. Crouching low to the ground, she leaps forward towards next mob, aiming to land in the middle of them so she can unleash a WIND WHEEL attack. Starting low, her swept the feet of the zombies between her and the unknown (to Orchid at least) armored mercenary, before continuing to build the momentum of her spinning blade faster and faster to increase the range from 5ft to 15ft, which should hopefully be enough to take out the zombies and miss that mercenary. Who presumably is an ally.

Just who are these people? Next time, Orchid needs to just stick with Victorique so she has a clear idea of who's friend or foe. Still, this man could be an ally, and once Orchid deals with these zombies she'll try to save him from the vines, assuming he doesn't save himself first.

Actions:
1. WHIRLWIND STRIKE the three pumpkin zombies surrounding Orchid.

2. Jump into position in the middle of the northern pumpkin horde.

3. Activate WIND WHEEL, aiming to only strike the pumpkin zombies.

Looks like the initial target is reacting like one would expect when you're struck with a bolt of lighting, though she wasn't sure whether or not that much violent convulsing is the normal amount for an undead of that size. At least it looked like it was on its way out, so there was one less giant to deal with at least. The other 2 giants, however, were luckier. Soon after she saw the results of her spell, Phoebe turned back to check on how Simi was doing with those vines. Turns out her feeling before was right on target, Simi freeing herself without any help. From what she can outside the window on the left, it looks like their backup was taking good care of the pumpkins in the field too.

Seeing the situations with the pumpkins and with Simi behind her under control, she turned her attention to the giant that deflected her first lighting bolt. "Don't just want to take leftover volts from another, do you? Alright then..." Sparks of electricity once again began to appear around Phoebe as she focused her mana into another volley. The sparks didn't reach the same amount of intensity as before, nor lingered as long, before shooting out towards the unharmed giant as she'd keep the level of her spell low. This strike probably won't down the giant like her lightning did to the first giant, but she figured it would be a good idea not to drain her mana reserves too quickly, just in case some emergency healing needed to be done or another powerful enemy reared their heads.

Dayle's eyes widened as Victorique ran back into the house. "Ah wait!" But she was too fast. "Fucking hell!" He was about to chase after her, but the giant's unusual activity gave him pause. That's when he remembered the sound of explosion behind the house, where the other giants were. Although he couldn't be sure, he had a hunch on what would happen. "STAY AWAY FROM THE GIANT!" Dayle's men immediately reacted to his voice, those fast enough to react dashing out of range, and those late diving out of range in an effort to save themselves. As for Dayle, he immediately booked it inside the house and took shelter from the giant. "I swear to all hells, shorty!" He yelled out as he gritted his teeth and hid. "If that free food isn't great, I'm gonna be so pissed real bad!"

His gaze then landed on the captain holding back the werewolf, then back outside. "You lot!" He ordered his men. "Don't worry about killing the giants! Just disable them!" Those who were far away enough from the convulsing giant now converged into one group again since the pumpkins have been mostly dealt with. Acknowledging Dayle's command, they instead focused their attacks on impairing the giants by slashing at joints and limbs, as well as dealing with the remnant pumpkin (Basic Swordsmanship). Hearing that familiar cackling sound again, Dayle warned his men. "Wait for the mage to strike! Then go bollocks!" The cronies faithfully kept their distance, waiting after Phoebe's strike to attack again. Though it's a difficult endeavor, they had to do it. Meanwhile, Dayle rushed towards the side of the captain. "Pull back a bit!" He bellowed as he prepared his chains. If the captain followed his advice, Dayle would then lash out with a clubbed chains towards the werewolf (Where It Hurts). He wasn't sure if they could kill the thing, but he sure as hell will try. "We better deal with this fucker soon, or we'll get more on our asses!"

Interactions: Elvario Elvario

Thankfully Kane had been swift enough to get out of the way, and even as he had tried to warn Morana early enough unfortunately for her, she had gotten considerably more acid on her.

"So you've encountered things like these before huh? Any idea how to neutralize that acid?" He wasn't too hopeful on that front but figured he'd ask, Morana did look like the sort that might have something sciencey to counteract it being from Widersia and all..but then if she did she probably would have used it on herself already by now to stop the damage to her.

Even so, when she brought up the next part, Kane almost let out a sigh, with not a ton else that made sense to do in that moment, other than keep attacking outside baddies, why not save the guy? Mercenary or not , he had helped so far, and even Kane understood sometimes the dirty work needed to be done by someone, upon reflection perhaps he'd felt a bit too harsh earlier, a bit embittered by his own experiences and generally being the one to bring criminal sorts to justice..Even so He'd give Morana a nod.

"..Yeah yeah, I guess we should save the guy, he did just help destroy that large one for us, so we can pay him back by helping him out now, just watch those legs, I have no idea what your plan is if they burn too much or if you can heal or whatever, but let's get this done quick and dirty then."

Despite the vice leader's obvious sounding desperation Kane didn't speak like he was particularly moved but even so he went on the offensive when he moved in to attack where Morana seemed to suggest and first he used a move attack combo

After Simi's heroic and triumphant 360 no-scope battle royal victory, Victorique would only nod in response to the question, before going silent to use her post-cognition again to figure out the combination. Simi's Sea Gels followed command and got into formation to cosily cover up and cover for Victorique.

Sadly enough, the next leg of the plan, plan T, didn't go as planned. As Simi tried to rush towards the back-door, she'd not make it in time for the Undead pirates to have moved into the adjecent rooms already, as the pirate captain immediately spotted her.

Language: #Abyssal#

#“Well, would you look at that... Crew, to me! We got her!”# He called out in Abyssal. He'd immediately went to go try slash twice at her (Attack Strength D, Weapon E, Combo +1) at her with his sword, whilst the two crew members behind him go ready to try intercept her, should she continue trying to get out this way. The sounds of more crew-members being beyond them were audible.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The pumpkins that'd rushed Orchid after her first area of effect were submitted to another one that countered (defending or letting them strike the armour would've taken an action of its own timing and action-economy wise) their own attacks. The stronger of Orchid's Whirlwind Strikes (E-grade) was just about enough to finish them off with their pumpkin heads falling cleanly to the ground. That said, Orchid would not have the energy to jump and attack afterwards (Jump F needs an ability to be used, thus it would cause Cooldown on F-grade abilities. Without energised, only 1 F-grade ability can be used per post). That said, she was able to move at the pumpkins north and attack the closest three of them within the area. The others were either too far away or physically defended by their allies being in-between them and the source of the attack.

As the three pumpkin undead were attacked, they'd move in attack back (Claws Attack E x3) whilst the nearest three others changed their targets around after spotting the inbound Orchid and decided to spit an odd looking seed at her (Range Attack x3).

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Phoebe's magic warmed up the previously unharmed Giant to electric shocking therapy pretty well. It did indeed not fall down, but it did smell a fair bit toastier and burned compared to before. That said, the undead giant managed to retaliate by smashing one of the Dayle's men that'd been trying to back-up before into a pulp. The other was lucky enough to back-up in time to get hit as well, the the giant once again gave chase, forcing Dayle's men further back towards the entrance.

Three of Dayle's men managed to team up and take down the remaining pumpkin. As they did, the trembling giant exploded into foul acidic mush that covered those in its surroundings. Most were far enough away not to be killed but it, but a few, including Dayle himself, would feel the acid slatter onto clothes and armour and to feel and see it start eating its way through it.

The exploding giant and acid it'd spread made it impossible for the groups to fully form up, which was already made difficult as they'd probably be killed instantly if they'd turn their backs on the giants that were currently facing them already.

The rightmost giant was able to squash a mercenary and one of the cronies alike as it kept on rampaging relatively uninterrupted. I would soon move closer to the centre one, threatening to force Dayle's men to fight from two sides.

The centre giant managed to keep up the pressure, though the men, being tasked to regroup, managed to at least form a more united front against it, with even one of the remaining mercenaries trying to join in. That said, it seemed that smashing and slashing at limbs was not going as well as they hoped. As they slowly kept trying to hack and dismember the giant, it would start bleeding foul acidic blood and slow down, but they weren't able to fully dismember it as the bones seemed to tough for them to really get trough.

The left giant was ramping even more, swinging so wildly and vigorously that it forced Dayle's men back towards the already killed and exploded undead giant, which would be dangerous going, as its corpse was flooding the surrounding soil with foul acidic blood whilst the centre giant as also pressuring the other group of cronies closer.

Mercenary Leader
VEaNoRK.jpeg

7RCQDr4.jpeg

Meanwhile, the mercenary leader was looking far worse for the wear, being forced to retreat out of the house whilst the werewolf was still going full-in on the attack towards him. It looked like he might get defeated soon enough, after which the werewolf would likely go after whomever it'd spot next. Luckily enough, Dayle decided to play nice. Upon hearing Dayle's words, the captain stepped out of the entrance and to the left, allowing Dayle to come in and hit the werewolf with his chains. The chains seemed to deal a fair bit of harm to the werewolf, but the creature was quick to heal up almost immediately. Either it'd already been healing up during it scuffle with the captain, or its regenerative abilities were truly insane. Perhaps both. It growled and snarled at Dayle, trying to grab the chains and (Super-strength E) pulling on them whilst (Natural Weapons D) biting at Dayle with its maw.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Morana
HWvrQTS.jpg

Having a moment of clarity thanks to Kane's question and warning, Morana stopped charging up and instead tore off part of her skirt and used it to rub off the acid (action 1). As best as the mechanical fingers allowed her to be dexterous enough for it, at least. “Thanks for the reminder. Rub it off, or wash it off if you've got water. Or milk. That neutralises it even better.” Sometimes, the easiest solutions are the most effective.

Vice Leader
JJLBjX3.jpeg

Kane's attack managed to take out one of the pumpkin undead, whilst his second attack helped cut loose the vice leader. “...Thanks.” He'd state, before he'd take something out of his pocket. It looked like a small note-book. “Give this to the shorty, if you live. That should settle any debts.” He state, before he'd started to retreat, after his men, who managed to drag away the wounded.

Morana, meanwhile, managed to take c are of another Pumpkin undead, lobbing off it's head with clawed strikes. Whilst the mask hid most of her facial features, she did seem to saviour the moment her claw sank through the creature to finish it off for good. That said, two more went after them, one clawing (Claws Attack E x2) at Kane and the other doing the same against Morana. They'd see Orchid having arrived and distracted the rest of the group from flooding them.

"Didn't know you're in cohort with the pumpkinheads, capt bone!" Simi was so used to being chased that she wasn't really surprised to meet the undead captain here. The big fish wouldn't be able to move here afterall so it make sense to send the captain. Still, it would be fine if she's the only one around but her being supposed to bodyguard while actually inviting more danger was unacceptable. So Simi being stubborn and prideful would stand her ground and met the captain's sword with her own, at least until Victorique finished hugging the treasure box.

Conjuring her water blade, Simi let out a battle cry as she trade blows with the captain. Blade for blade, from a captain to another captain.

"That easy huh? Guess even those big undead guys aren't as well put together as I thought if their acid is that easy to clean, I mean I'm assuming someone raised and made them or whatever, I might not know a lot about magic but I do know that necormancery is a thing supposedly."

"Also I'd love to know later what situation you got yourself into where you got to use milk to neutralize the guts acid of one of those tons of fun."
Kane chuckled.

"So if we aren't dead, we should definitely hang later if you aren't too busy." He'd add in, directing the words toward Morana.

A satisfied smirk fell upon Kane's face when he fell the pumpkin. Kane was a bit surprised to have the Vice Leader give him the small notebook, from the sounds of things, something in return for saving his life. Someone in his line of work who actually had a sense of life debt and honor? Kane was mildly impressed with that. He slipped the notebook into his robe securely against his chest.

"Thanks for the info, I'm sure "Shorty" Will appreciate it, Guess you mercs aren't all so bad, hope you and your guys don't die out there and whatever your next job is goes well." He'd add toward the latter bit.

He could give them that much since it sounded like they had been given a job which was considerably well beyond whatever coin they had been offered as far as the danger scale went.

"Hah! Looks Like I'm getting to kill monsters after all! Didn't know following her around like this would give me the opportunity if I'm being honest! If only they could see me now!"

Kane first swung his axe down at the nearest pumpkin enemy, in an effort to decapitate them with his ability Tenebrae Scriptura Percutiens.

He'd then follow up with another swing in a bid to finish them off with a Lesser Tenebrae Scriptura Percutiens ,if they were already defeated at this point he'd try to swing at the one attacking Morana instead.

With each swing the same sort of dark energy which had been seen coming from the hands earlier, radiated off of his blade, leaving wounds which appeared to be imbued in the very same energy which was found on the dark stigmatas which he had been inflicting, representing their incurable nature through normal means.

Dayle grit his teeth from being splattered with acid, but it was nothing he couldn't handle for a while. "Fucking hell! And now I have to deal with this fuck- SHIT!" His arm stopped midway as he felt the tug of the werewolf's pull on the chains, but is unable to completely tip the pull to his side (Superstrength F). Seeing the incoming maw on him, he had no choice but to wrap his arms with his other rope of chains and cover it with aura, before raising it to try and block the bite (Can't Touch This E). "Fuck off!" He bellowed as he used the werewolf's pull as leverage to try and use the momentum to punch it back a bit (Hook, Line, and Sinker F). He panted as he felt the sting of the acid on his body still continuing to melt his skin off. Once he was given enough time to himself before the werewolf strikes again, Dayle quickly remove his outerwear and use it to brush the acid off his body. He had a sturdy body (Tough Skin [Heavy Armor] E), but the acid that splashed him may render it useless from all the burns turning his skin soft. His eyes turned furious as he realized they were already in a great disadvantage. He wanted to go back to Victorique, but the chaos is stopping him and the others. Phoebe was a bit caught off guard when the first giant she struck exploded and sent acid flying in all directions around it, instinctively taking cover behind the wall next to the window despite being far away enough from the giant to be safe from the acid spray. Peering out the window after recovering from the initial shock of the exploding giant, she retook a casting position at the next window over (closer to the door) to get closer to the further of the 2 injured giants and keeping the first within sight.

The captain's attack (3+2+1 = 6) didn't manage to pierce through Simi's triple-defense (2+1+1+2 = 6) as the two attacks clashed even. #“This tiny annoying rat!”# The captain called out in anger, as his crew would chuckle behind him from the fact that he seemingly failed to take down such an easy target.

#“Don't you dare laugh at me.”# He suddenly turned around and slashed the undead head right off of one of the laughing crew-mates. #“Anyone laughing will follow suit!”# He'd threaten the rest. #“You're gonna pay for making a fool out of me.”# He stated, as he would lunge forwards and attack Simi again, striking her twice in the same matter as before (Attack Strength D, Weapon E, Combo +1), to prove that failing the first time had only been a fluke.

She grinned when Kane called it easy. “Try calling it easy when you're actively under attack. The real danger of such attacks is them happening when you don't have time to wipe it off due to constant enemy pressure.” As for the latter, she shrugged. “I got no clue who'd be making such things, but yeah, I've seen worse types of acids. I guess this is not as much a goal as a side-effect, perhaps?” She shrugged again, not knowing or caring much more than that.

“Oh, that'd be one fun story to tell indeed. You're on.” A chuckle escaped from behind her mask at those comments, as it seemed she'd have someone to hang out with now. How odd. Most folk dodged her like the plague.

The vice leader had retreated without saying anything else, leaving the rest of the fighting to Kane and Morana. To the north-east a few more mercenaries managed to escape along with him.

Kane's attack managed to get rid of the pumpkin attack him before he ended up taking any hits from it. Morana was similarly able to get rid of the pumpkin that'd tried attacking her. Whilst Kane prepared to see if he'd need to aid Morana, Morana herself would [move] and [attack] the next pumpkin (having not needed an extra action to take the notebook). Though her attack wasn't strong enough to slice up the pumpkin in one go. It seemed like she was running out of steam.

It didn't take long for two of the other pumpkins to try team up against her. Whilst that alleviated a lot of the pressure on Orchid, it did get Morana herself into some hot water.

The wolf's biting maw (4+3=7) met Dayle's chains (3+2+2= 7+deflect) as it broke some of the monster's teeth upon being deflected. The following lashes with his chains forced it to let go, which allowed Dayle to get rid of the acid. That said, the werewolf was, yet again, already regenerating...

Until it got an acid-covered sword jabbed straight into its stomach. With the wound sizzling, it seemed like that might prevent its healing for long enough to hopefully end it. “Let's use the giants' acid against it!” The mercenary leader called out to Dayle, having used the time Dayle bought him to cover his sword in undead acid and stabbing the werewolf with it. “It'll ruin our weapons, but we should be able to take it down this way!”

Dayle would notice the mercenary leader was pretty wounded and even more worn-out though, so he would not be able to hold out for much longer. Time was not on their side.

As for his men, they managed to follow the plan pretty well. Only two of the cronies and the last remaining mercenary on the field fell, as the undead giant that came from behind could easily swat them. The others managed to keep the giant undead distracted without taking casualties. It wouldn't hold for long though, as the undead giant that'd been roaming free was now walking up alongside the wounded one, starting to overwhelm the few of Dayle's men trapped between the two moving undead giants and the acidic corpse of the previously fallen one. Some of them started to clearly get panicked from being in this predicament.

Luckily enough, that's when Phoebe managed to sent out another pretty strong attack. Presuming Phoebe would break the glass first, she was able to shoot a lightning bolt out the door that strick not just the two, but three of the undead. Most of them were able to run for their lives after Phoebe's warning, but two got stuck between the two exploding acid bombs and the acidic corpse in the middle, being hit by the enough of the blast and acid to die a terrible death, flesh melting from bone in real-time, whilst a third got hit by the last standing giant undead and squashed into a pulp.

Only one more giant undead remained. Yet it looked equally eager to try kill as many as it could, whilst Dayle was still fighting against the werewolf.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Meanwhile, the pumpkins were scratching clawing and tearing at Orchids armour like it was nobody's business, but didn't manage to break through the orichalcum equipment. That said, she did get hit by the strange seeds, which started to tangle their way all around her. Weird vines started to grow rapidly and covered her from head to toe, as they managed to take root unopposed whilst they tried squeezing and strangling her to death (Tangle Grade C), though it still wasn't enough to break Orchid's armour, it would start to feel suffocating and it would make it impossible to move, unless someone would cut her loose or she'd find a way to free herself that didn't require big movements (as those would be restrained and obstructed by the vines).

OOC I'll be going on vacation. The next narration round will hopefully be on 24st of November. Depending on how well the scenes in this one are handled, I'm hoping wrap it up in two to three more rounds after my return. Let me know if there's any additional things you'd want me to add so I can see if I can still include them upon my return.

"Victorique!! You finished there?" Simi yelled. Despite her bravado, she didn't actually want to fight the undead captain for too long as she felts like she would slip up one way or another. Still, she couldn't afford to move until the halfling was finished with the safe so she braced herself as she once again brandished her magic and clashed with the undead.

"Where's the boss, captain Bone? How can you fall from a pirate captain to a fish's underling??" Simi asked the undead. She wasn't actually sure if the undead can actually speak common, but this was actually the closest she had been with the captain. She usually just run as soon as she spots him.

With Morana explaining to Kane how much more difficult it could be in an active skirmish scenario, he'd chuckle a bit.

"Guess it's a good thing I don't see myself become a hunter of hordes of undead anytime soon, less I guess one of them was plotting something nasty in Rotia..eitherway I'm not usually going in for group fights if It can be helped, even if they can be pretty entertaining from what I've heard, usually I'm just trying to get in, either take someone out and take them with or finish them off then and there are get out..type deal."

"Yeah maybe they just got created this way unintentionally, I mean it isn't the best idea to have units that could literally explode and deal friendly fire damage, less these other ones are immune, or there's some magic at play, to be honest I don't know a ton about this sorta thing either."

"Great, let's meet up somewhere good then, Victorique probably knows a good spot if you don't got a favorite."
Kane gave her a bit of a smile, it was fainter. The same generally being true for him that many weren't usually the sort to go and hang out with him, so it was actually kind of a nice change of pace to have Morana be agreeable. Granted there probably weren't a ton who Kane would admit to wanting to hang out with to begin with, People like Victorique and Morana, and how Jez had been were the sorts of exceptions.

"I gotcha! Gonna hit the first one harder than the second!" Kane called out looking over at Morana seeing that she was possibly going to get wombo combo'd on by the undead pumpkin heads, Kane would move in and strike the one closest to attacking her with a Tenebrae Scriptura Percutiens E Grade Ability
His axe giving off the same dark energy as before the old Terran cropping up.

Orchid braces herself as the monsters swarm her. She batters away their attacks, but when the ones in the rear shot some sort of entangling vine at her, that forced her to be more defensive. She spent some time ripping apart the vines with her bare hands relying largely on her sheer strength, and once she got an arm freed she immediately sets up a BLOOD GUARD around herself, creating a red barrier over her armor to help prevent the vines from strangling her while she continues to break free of the vines. Since none of them have managed to get through her armor, she didn't hesitate to use her own halberd to cut herself free, scratching up her armor in the process since her own poleaxe was made of orichalum. But that just meant it ought to be able to cut through these vines easily. But mainly, she just needed to stay calm. The claws on these monsters weren't really enough to bypass her defenses, so she just needs to focus on these vine splitters so they can't just keep holding her down.

Actions
1. Attempt to break through the vines through raw Strength (B)
2. Use Blood Guard to create a protective Barrier Around herself
3. Continue to breath through the vines.

Dayle was already haggard from this one encounter, but surviving was his utmost priority right now. After hearing the captain's words and glancing at the nearby acid puddle that had formed from a giant's death, he formulated a plan in his head. "Men! The acid! Glaze and gather!"

Without hesitation, the remaining cronies sprung into action. Those near the puddles of acid would make a mad dash towards them and haphazardly covered their sabers with acid. As soon as their sabers were covered, they immediately convened towards Dayle's location.

"Take this!" He yelled as he flourished his chains and decided to take a gamble and aimed for the werewolf's legs and tried to wrap his chains around it (Catch 'em Lackin D). "You!" He yelled at the mercenary captain. "Destroy his balance!" He desperately clung on the the chains and wrangled the werewolf in hopes of keeping it occupied with stabilizing itself. Once the opportunity would present itself, he would yank the werewolf's legs in an attempt to trip it.

If the werewolf would drop out of balance, then Dayle would two-handedly grip the chains tightly and dashed towards. "Eat meat fatass!" He yelled as he swung the werewolf with all his might towards the giant (Where It Hurts E) (Cleave).

She snapped out of 'it' with a shock. Getting the combination from looking into the past, she'd quickly enter it. Then, she quickly gathered up all the contents into her [Pocket Dimension], before rushing around the room to grab a few other things that would be useful to prove her case. That's when she heard Simi call out. “Almost! Is the storage room accessible!?!” She called back. That's where the final piece she wanted to use in her case was at, from what she'd gathered from her precognition attempts and the materials she'd gathered. Rushing past the Sea Gels, toward the other side of the house, she'd go through the kitchen and peer into the storage room, only to see some undead standing near it... She'd click her tongue. She'd not be able to enter unless Simi would lead them away. Or out of the house altogether.

Language: Common | #Abyssal#

The captain decided to finally speak a language Simi could grasp. “Shut up and die, so we can this over with!” Needlessly to say, he didn't desire to be all that informative.

Sadly enough for the captain, the attacks ended up the exact same as last time. Simi managing to barely hold off against him with the triple-attack. #“You blasted tiny fuck!”# He cursed, gesturing for his men. #“Fine, this one's too slippery. Move in to surrounded it. Honour be damned.”#

As he moved aside, a crew member got it, readying himself to team up against Simi. Seeing how she barely held off against just the captain, it was unlikely she'd hold up against him and a crew member of his teaming up.

I'll speed up this combat bit for Kane and Orchid, as victory is assured on this front and I don't want to needlessly stretch it.

Morana
HWvrQTS.jpg

Between Kane's attacks and Morana using some of the last steam she'd have at the ready to go back in for some attacks as well, they managed to get rid of the three undead without suffering further harm. Meanwhile, Orchid managed to free herself enough to set up a Blood Guard and defended herself from further harm. With Kana and Morana being able to help out, the three would soon get rid of the last remaining pumpkins.

“You with the shorty detective as well?” Morana would ask Orchid, looking her up and down. “Nice armour, by the way.”

Taking a few deep breaths to cool down and huff in whatever her mask was supplying her with, she'd turn to Kane again. What were they talking about again, before moving back into the fray? “You don't got undead coming along with the monsters from the first continent in Rotia? Thought I heard something about stuff like that.” She remarked, otherwise not the most knowledgable on the situation there.

She'd nod at the next bit. “Getting up and close to just one enemy does tend to be a lot more fun than having to deal with groups.” She'd agree with Kane. Upon mentioning meeting spots, she was a tad surprised he seemed serious on that. “That shorty knowing good spots?” She raised an eyebrow, as that sounded unlikely. 'Good' was subjective though.

Looking back at the house. “Sounds like there's still fighting going on in the house itself. We moving in? Or we checking the front? Sounds like something's still going on there as well.” She asked. (It'd take 1 movement action to get inside the house, 2 movement actions to get towards the front side.)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dayle managed manage to wrap the chains around the werewolf's legs, but failed to get the latter off balance... were it not for the Merchant Leader helping out.

Mercenary Leader
VEaNoRK.jpeg

7RCQDr4.jpeg

“Got it!” The man called out. Using the last remaining strength, he'd throw himself against the Werewolf, nearly toppling it and thereby providing Dayle the chance pull and... make the werewolf take a bit of time to further regain its balance. That was about it. It seemed the two men didn't have the strength or energy left to pull of such big moves right now, as neither the mercenary leader's nor Dayle's efforts paid off enough, not even combined. The only upside was that the werewolf didn't manage to get a counter-attack in, buying them some valuable time.

With the positions changed due to their actions, they'd left an opening for two of the cronies to come in with acid covered blades. Whilst the weapons were already dissolving, they still managed to shove them into the werewolf, which seemed to severely injure the beast without it healing as easily. It started howling and snarling a lot, as it would attempt to lunge at the cronies in anger and pain.

The fact that both Dayle and his men were focussing fully on the werewolf caused the undead giant managed to smash two more of Dayle's men to death uninterrupted, after them failing to throw the werewolf at it. The numbers were thinning rapidly, causing some of the remaining cronies to look a bit panicked. Either they'd be squashed or they might soon be acid-splashed if the giant undead would die... or get torn to shreds by the werewolf.

“I... don't... think I got much more left... in me...” The captain spoke through laboured breaths. He spoke, trying to retreat closer into the house, now that the werewolf's attention was on the two cronies for a moment.

"Storage? Where's that??" Simi didn't have a clue about the layout of the house so she wouldn't able to help Victorique with it. But now that the one she's supposed to protect went to somewhere hopefully safer, Simi can now resume her original plan.

"Hmmph, fine. I'm going to get you... NEXT TIME!!" Simi stuck her tongue out to the undead captain to mock him before running towards the west side of the house, the room where she got tangled by the seed the pumpkinheads were shooting.

"Simi Crew! Time for a tactical retreat!" Heeding her command, the sea gels followed closely behind her as the fae led the group out of the house by jumping through the smashed windows, using the couch as the stepping pedestal. The gels elastic body shrink and stretch as they climbed out of the windows.

Action:
1-3) Escape out of the house to the west side
