Steve sighed once the Captain retreated. He recovered his shield, and sat down on a log. He was breathing heavily. "That was a tough battle," he said. However, when he saw his ally fire at Schrödinger, he was horrified- until the cat appeared behind the man. Cap was stunned. How did he do that? He wondered. He stood up. "What the hell do you people want?" He said firmly.


Kakashi felt like he was looking at a more extreme version of Might Guy. "Nice to meet you, Ultimate Warrior," he said, giving him an eye smile. "I am Kakashi Hatake, of the Sharingan," he said back, before pulling his headband down over his eye. No need to let him see it now. Lapis touched the tips of her fingers together. "I'm Lapis Lazuli," she said, just as nervous as Kakashi. She wasn't sure she liked humans much. Kakashi stood up. "Best go see if Captain America over there is okay," he said, and walled out of the bush. "Hello," he told him, eye smiling. Cap looked over to him. "And who are you?" He asked him, still panting.

"You invade upon the planets of the Ethereal Ones as an enemy of the Ethereal Ones. As such, you will be destroyed as one." the creature intoned. "Even now you fail to heed the warning of the Ethereal Ones; you think of cheese." The extremely psionically powerful creature had picked up his thoughts, and obviously it was displeased.


(OOC Note: In XCOM's will scale, regular humans have somewhere around 20-40. Ethereals have 120.)

"Kakashi Hatake," he said happily. Lapis curtsied. "Lapis Lazuli," she said. Cap nodded in greeting to both. When the cat boy said he wouldn't tell them this Major's plan, Kakashi looked at him quizzically. "Oh really?" He asked, walking in front of him. He had seen enough to know that whatever these people were, they were evil. He placed a hand on his headband, looking him in the eye. Quick as a flash, his Sharingan was deployed, forcing a genjutsu upon the cat. "Let me change your mind," he said happily. The genjutsu he had placed him under was like a form of hypnosis. "Tell me everything," Kakashi ordered. Cap and Lapis watched Kakashi's actions, confused.


Jack had been following the trolls for some time now. Finally, he decided to act. Pulling his sword out, he crept forward carefully.

The extremely powerful psionic creature rather abruptly rebuked him, forcing the daedric entity out of its mind. "Your species would be a fine addition to the Collective." it intoned.

"And YOU'RE ENTRAILS will make a nice Sweater" Sheogorath Said with a mad grin as he slammed the bottom of his staff into ground "HOLD" A deep commanding voice burst forth from nowhere it forced all those in the area (excluding Sheogorath) to freeze in place as if time stopped. Sheogorath called upon the fork of Horripilation, and walked towards the ethereal. he then proceeded to stab it with the fork, Back on Mundus the fork would drain magicka but this world lacked magicka so it began draining this world equivalent; PSI-energy

Sheogorath called upon the fork of Horripilation, and walked towards the ethereal. he then proceeded to stab it with the fork, Back on Mundus the fork would drain magicka but this world lacked magicka so it began draining this world equivalent; PSI-energy

The creature would be relatively unaffected and would suddenly step out of its freeze without much issue. "You exercise power, but exercise it foolishly. I shall demonstrate the proper fashion." The Ethereal brought up its four thin arms, and a snaking tendril of purple energy emitted from its ornamental helmet. The tendril tracked down Sheogorath and entwined him; suddenly his mind would be filled with no imagery, but a dense, creeping dread that would seep confidence, concentration, and slowly escalate into a full panic.


[Psi-energy is not XCOM's equivalent to magic; it is entirely called forth from the mind of an individual, and is not merely manipulated. Apples to oranges. The Ethereal here is using the Psi Panic ability.]

Sheogorath had to admit he was a bit Excited when the Ethereal broke the enchantment, but it was of little concern to the Mad God. The Mad Prince was becoming very frustrated with the Ethereal, he thought it would have been easy to wreck some havoc then return to the shivering isles and have some brain stew. But no this Ethereal had to come and ruin all his plans. and worst of all he was becoming bored, and Haskill would tell you; That a bored Sheogorath is a Homicidal Sheogorath. Oh it seemed the ethereal was trying to do something to him. So did the first thing he could think of... which was to project his thoughts to the ethereal, such thought consisting only of the madding songs that his personal bards would sing to the most vile criminal scum the shivering isles could offer, which often drove said criminals into states of suicidal madness

The Ethereal One was centuries old. It had seen more than enough of that, and nonchalantly tightened its psionic grip on him. It was clear that he was already too mad to drive into a panic, so the creature instead began to psionically disrupt his ocular nerves, forcing hallucinations onto him and disorienting him. [This is the equivalent to XCOM's Mindfray.]


[0 Will is reserved for robotic units like SHIVs and Cyberdisks (as in they are incapable of being controlled purely because they lack organic brains); if he was already broken then his will would be 1 or 2.]

"Oh i can do that too" Sheogorath called upon Wabbajack and began firing at anything, which turned buildings into chickens, sweetrolls and other various oddities "Except mine are real" He said as turn one building into a dragon

The Ethereal one stared at the chaos going on with some contempt. "You attempt to anger me. You fail." A quickly moving, homing tendril of psi-energy snaked to the dragon as it formed, and the massive creature howled as it's mind was overtaken and dominated. It turned on Sheogorath, snarling.

Sheogorath Grinned as he tapped the dragon on the snout with Wabbajack turning it into a pile of mush on the floor, Sheogorath then Yawned "AND YOU ATTEMPT TO BORE ME. YOU SUCCEED" Sheogorath shouted as he teleported away from the ethereal now on the other side on the planet

The Ethereal One stared at the spot Sheogorath once was. It called into the Ethereal hivemind, alerting its brethren. From now on, all of the Earth would have Sheogorath's name on its figurative WANTED list.

Genos was just wandering the forest. He wasn't sure where he was. All he knew was that he had wandered into a random portal, and now he was here. He didn't even have his arms mode with him. He had to find master Saitama.
