Fandom Camp Half-Blood

[Andrea Logan]

Lamia smiled at when Jayce bowed to Ajax. She then noticed this was the boy she who had that strange presence. She waved to him and said, "Hi Jayce! Welcome to Camp HalfBlood!" She was glad they got to sleep the night at camp. She needed to go look around at camp one last time before they left.

Katarina looked at Jayce shyly. She sensed he was different and a lot stronger then her. She stayed back and gave him a shy wave. She still had a hard time meeting new people and since she had been isolated for so long it was easy for her to get intimidated.

When Jayce was being greeted he blushed because he was still shy after being alone for so long. "Hello all! Nice to meet all of you!" He said while shaking Ajax's hand with a firm grip, remembering not to squeeze too hard because he was stronger than most people. He looked around and he smiled, remembering how it felt to be around people. He quickly said, "I will see y'all tonight!" And he took off for the big cabin. When he reached the door he knocked on it to alert Chiron.

Lamia watched as Jayce ran off. She turned back to Ajax and asked, "So what time is training?" She looked at Poseidon's cabin. "Also do we have enough time to get into more camp like clothing before we train?" She pointed at the blouse she was wearing.

Damion nodded and walked with Ajax. When they finished he saw the new camper and decided to begin his training. He walked toward the Ares cabin and asked one to spar with him, so he could test himself in hand to hand combat. He fought the demigod while the Ares cabin cheered on the demigod opponent. He used similar techniques to what he did with Ajax, and won after about a minute. He bowed towards the losing demigod and walked to the gymnastics area, where he could train running from monsters.

Gale was amazing with plants and when I say amazing, I mean amazing. So she was almost always in the strawberry fields with the satyrs. Gale was a little worried about the questers as not all of them have been on a quest before. Thinking that they could get all the help they could use, she used her plant abilities to enhance some strawberries for them.

Lamia stretched when she finished getting into her orange Camp Halfblood shirt. She walked out onto the dock and looked up at the sun. Lamia was glad she was back, she missed camp. She was about to jump into the lake till she heard the dinner bell. She clapped and smiled. She couldn't wait to see her old friends from last year. She ran out of Poseidon's cabin and up the hill past the other cabins. When Lamia got to the tables she waved at some old friends.

Katarina went to the tables. She knew that she couldn't hide her parent anymore. Her father had really set it in her that it was a bad thing but then she remembered What Damion said and felt better. Plus she had seen another persons stuff in the cabin so she knew she had a sibling here. She went to fInd the Persephone table.

 

[Marvinok]

Damion turned when he heard the bell and walked toward the dining area. He entered and stood off to the side, uninterested in food at the moment. He did grab a pomegranate to chew on, as it was healthy and not to large. Damion looked on, knowing that something was going to happen soon between some demigods.

Katarina saw Damion and waved. She was sitting at the table waiting for her sibling. She didn't know how dinner here worked yet and so was looking around in confusion.

Once Ajax had discussed everything over with the selected kids, he returned to the main counselors cabin where he found Chiron pacing about in the lobby. "What?" Ajax asked with a raised eyebrow, as if they needed anything else to worry about. "No, it's nothing-- just wrapped up with everything I suppose, aren't you?" The centaur scratched his beard, not even bothering to look up and face Ajax eye-to-eye. "Oh yeah, i'm a bit shaken but I guess I handle it differently. But your doing good, I promise." Chiron nodded, feeling a little bit better, but it was clear the whole thing still stressed him out. "Are you a 'go' for tonight? Or should someone else take over-?" Ajax was interrupted, "No, no, I'll be alright. I do it every year and this year will be no different. Just with a bit of extra information to add-- that's all." He stopped pacing to finally meet eyes with the man.


"We explain to the new children who they are and why they are here, then... we drop the bomb." Chiron shuddered. "Don't you mean nuclear bomb?" The centaur gave him a look that read 'you better shut up before I throw you out, i'm already so nervous about this'. Ajax simply shrugged his shoulders in response, smiling rather nonchalantly. "I'm just saying: it'll be a big deal-- but you'll handle it just fine." He turned his head towards the door once hearing the lunch bell, "Hungry?" Chiron shook his head no. "You go on, I have a feeling you'll be needed there."


"Suit yourself." And with that, Ajax left to meet the rest of the campers in the dining area.

Lamia left her friends at the Athena table and went over to the Poseidon table. Lamia stared at her plate and closed her eyes. When she opened them a plate of pizza was in front of her. She touched the cup and Dr. Pepper filled in the cup. Lamia ate a slice of pizza and looked out at the woods. Suddenly she felt a fruit or something hit the side of her head. She turned and noticed the Ares kids glaring at her. Lamia rolled her eyes and said to herself, "Immature."

Ajax walked into the dining area to find an obvious difference in the kids. It was clear that some of the God's had gotten to their children, which was not good. They were already worried about an outside threat-- that last thing they needed was conflict in the camp itself. The children of Ares were the main culprits, which was a given. But he also took notice in other demi-gods as well. Dionysus' chilren, Hephaestus, Thanatos and so on-- butted heads with the children of Apollo, Artemis, Poseidon, ect. The few counselors already there tried to calm the situation down, but nothing helped.


Chiron would have to address them earlier than expected.


"Hey! Traitor!" A child of Ares called to him, "How does it feel to be part of a loosing battle?" Another kid added on, this time a child of Hephaestus, "A child of Athena? Looks like an idiot to me." Ajax ignored the yells for his attention, he truly didn't mind. He knew what it was to handle teenagers, especially one's that were all riled up.


His eyes scanned the dining hall. Everyone was bickering and the hall seemed more divided than ever. This was ridiculous. How could anyone side with Hades? With the goals he had in mind? It was madness. These kids had no idea who or what they were dealing with. Serious end-of-the-world kind of stuff was headed they're way and they were treating it like some sort of family feud.


Ajax scanned yet again. Noticing Lamia and witnessing a child or Ares through fruit her way. He clenched his fists, that was way beyond the last straw. "Alright..." He mumbled, walking over to the blonde, picking up the fruit before asking if she was alright.


"Hey, Athena-boy! What do you think you're-" Ajax shot them a glare that shut them up, but only for a moment. The child of Ares, a young man, stood and made his way towards Ajax. "What? You think because your mom's a goody-two-shoes goddess of knowledge whore-"


Bad move.


Ajax quickly and firmly placed a hand around the kid's throat, stopping the poor boy mid sentence. "What was that?-"


"Mr. Davidson! That is enough!" Another counselor snapped him out of it and he quickly released the boy. The teenager, around eighteen, gasped for air and looked more than shocked. Some of the children cheered, obviously part of Zeuz's side. Ajax shook his head, a bit surprised himself at how quickly he lost it. "Enough!" He yelled and the dinning hall fell silent. "This is absolutely ridiculous-- Mrs. Sirena-- Please go get Chiron." The woman followed his instruction, quickly running off to find the centaur. "Now as for the rest of you-" The veteran began, placing the fruit down on the table by Lamia to then place both hands loosely on his hips. "What the hell do you think this is? This isn't about siding with your parents, this is about whats best for everyone."


"And whats best for everyone, huh, 'teach?" One student yelled to him, making Ajax turn in the direction of the call. "Well I don't know, do you have a death wish? Because that's whats going to happen if Hades get's his way. And before you go on about how your parents will protect you just know that even if they wanted to, they couldn't. If Cronus gets resurrected not even Zeus himself could stop the fallout. Earth would be a thing of the past and so would you and I. I'm not sure Hades himself knows what the hell he's dealing with. More then ever now you guys need to stick together. The Gods will come after you, after us, and we won't be able to stop them... not alone. We need to stick together and whether you like it or not we are all family here."


Ajax could see Chiron rushing over and he took in a deep breath, trying to relax before the centaur arrived.

"Welcome to Camp Half-Blood! We know you veteran campers already know this, but please bear with us for the new campers. We separate you by your parents, no not the one that shops for you. Your Godly parent. By the end of today you will know who that is. Until then, have fun until sun down!" A centaur spoke loudly.

Lamia smiled at Ajax after he did his big speech. She really did think the kids would calm down now that Ajax talked some sense into them. Lamia stood up and thanked Ajax. She picked up the fruit and looked over to see Chiron coming over. She sat on the table and thought, *Maybe we should change the tables to get it calmed down a bit.* Lamia threw the bruised fruit to the nearest trashcan and got it in. She smiled and picked up her cup and drank.

 

[Chayliel]

Jayce was sipping his root beer at te end of a table by himself and he looked around at everyone, feeling lonely like always. He sighed and starte to breath slowly, almost in a trance like state. He just wanted to do something. The day before he has been shown the camp and all of the cabins but no one knew what cabin he belonged in except for him. He knew and he didnt want anyone else to know. He started to etch his name into the table with one of his fingers turned into a claw. Once his name was etched in it he smirked and continued sipping his root beer. Why did I come here? He thought to himself.

 

[Marvinok]

Damion watched the situation, and saw that Mr. Davidson was even being affected. Damion saw a couple of the Ares kids ignore it and begin walking to other tables and bullying other kids. Damion dropped the pomegranate and walked toward an Ares kid that was bullying Katarina. He pushed the Ares kid away before anything bad could happen. Weirdly the Ares boy was submissive, as if Damion was a general. The bully walked off as Damion sat down with Katarina. "I don't think we have much time to train. Leaving right now might be the best option. Maybe not now, but soon." Damion said, worried for everyone's safety.

Katarina smiled and blushed as Damion helped her. She had been trying to ignore the bully but he had been getting a lot more mean. "Thank you. I agree, we need to leave soon. The tension is thick enough I could cut it with a rose thorn. We can train on the way." She tilted her head and bit her lip "Damion, we can fix all this. I know we can!" Their was determination in her eyes and she gave a small smile. She really believed in their group.

Theo did not bother to go to eat. He heard Ajax yell from outside the canteen. His stomach would refuse when he brought up food, so he decided to stay out of trouble for the time being. He headed to the lake, relaxing at the side of it, staring into the deep blue. "Father. Would you not speak to me? I need your guidance in this time. What if... I do not belong here?" The lake was silent. Not even a small wave or anything. "I guess you are not ready for the father-son talk yet. Why would you be?" He says, sounding bitter. Theo started to doubt this adventure. So what if Chronos was resurected? "We don't know how it was when he ruled. Maybe it was for the better. No more bastards cast out into this world like sheep to the slaughter, so you can use us as you damned play toys!" He yells, standing up, tears forming in his eyes. He felt abandoned.

Damion nodded, no expression. He was beginning to feel on edge. The Gods were pulling their tricks. He was going to be the first to snap, as he had one of the big three as a father. He walked toward Ajax and put a hand on his shoulder. "Sir the quest people need to go. Many of them are already on edge, including me. I am starting to feel as though I wish to attack some of the campers. I know I will snap soon in this environment, we need to go now." Damion said, worrying for other's safety.

 

[Andrea Logan]

Lamia looked at Damion. She knew what he meant, she felt like giving some of these jerks a haircut with her blades. Lamia nodded at Ajax. "He's right. If we don't leave soon something bad and messy will happen." She picked up her plate and cup and walked over to the counter and placed them down. She headed back to Damion and Ajax but noticed her brother by the lake. She walked out of the dining hall to tell him the news but stopped. Lamia knew Theo was going threw a hard time and decided to give him some space. She turned back around and walked to Ajax. "Ok I'll be back soon I'm gonna go pack." She walked out of the dining hall and towards Poseidon's cabin. She looked over at Theo and turned back to the cabin.

Katarina got up And walked over to Damion and Ajax. "We need to really hurry! I'm still packed so I can help others pack but I feel like the Ares cabin is ready to rebel."

 

[TheWriter]

Chiron was now explaining to everyone the situation at hand in depth. He explained the danger they were really in and how people had already been selected to go on a quest to Olympus to attempt to patch things up. Ajax was listening just when Damion and Lamia got his attention. He turned to look at the boy, a serious expression now on his face. "Alright... ok. We leave in an hour-- spread the word. We meet at the main cabin." Was all he said before nodding to the son of Hades, returning his attention to Chiron for a few moments before leaving to gather his things.

Damion nodded and went to Theo. He tapped his shoulder and said, "We leave in an hour." Damion was dead to most emotions like that.

Katarina was getting ready in her cabin. She felt nervousness at the impending departure and the looming quest but kept a strong face. She had faced a lot of hard times in her life and she knew she could take it.
