Fandom Camp Half-Blood

"Theo Cambrius sir." He says, finally letting the bag down and standing straight, saluting. "So, we are going to learn how to fight? That is really nice!" He says, a soft sparkle in his eyes. He looked at Damian, smiling. "Demonstrations eh? Can't wait to see them." Theo says, playfully punching Damian's shoulder.

Damion chuckled lightly and wanted to try something. He put his hands in his pocket and began to respond.

"I wouldn't mind. I also am going to stay permanently from this point." Damion said. He gripped the phone and pulled it out, flipped it, and tried to strike Ajax with it at his fastest speed. He used shadows to quickly blind him in darkness.

"Thats the spirit!" He responded with a laugh to Theo's enthusiasm. "Trust me, yo're going to need fighting skills for most of the activities we're going to have here. Plus, it's always good to have a little bit of experience, especially if you're a half blood." Ajax looked at Damion, nodding. "Good, this camp needs someone like you, I see great things for you in the future Damion-" He slyly smiled, already expecting Damion's actions. The kid was already trying to pull something on him, and he was so good that he probably could best him one day. But today was not that day. Ajax quickly reacted, dodging off to the side and shifting his body. Time slowed in his head and he had to a chance to think the situation through-- even faster now because his vision was giving way, another one of Damion's gifts. After dodging, the man quickly grasped the boy's wielding wrist, the gloves he wore aiding in his strength. By now his vision was completely gone so he had to rely on other senses. He already had a girl on Damion's wrist, so he could estimate how far away his other body parts were. Ajax used his free hand to grab the back of his 'opponents' neck, gently of course, leaning him down. He laughed, shaking his head. "Rule number one, be ready for anything. Nice try, kid."

Katarina watched this all in shocked silence. She felt really shy with all these new people around. She had slightly backed away from the group when Ajax appeared. When Damion pulled out his sword she jumped slightly in surprise and tripped backwards onto her butt. She winced and muttered about being a clutz while blushing a bright red.

Kian had been lounging and listening to music when he decided get to know people and walked out the door of the cabin. He watched as a girl fell on back as two boys were "fighting". He jogged over to her and helped her up. "You okay?" he asked.

(
@SweetCat2319 )

She backed up slightly after she was standing again "Y-yes, Thanks." She murmured. She wasn't trying to be rude, she was just unused to so many people. She had lived practically alone before hand and she had been home schooled so she had never been in such a large group. Especially all being guys except her.

Damion dropped to the ground, dropping the sword as it returned to his pocket and swiped at Ajax's legs quickly. He wanted to at least be on fair ground in fighting with Ajax, and once Damion got to Ajax's age he would definitely be able to best him or at least be on par with him. Damion got a handle on one of the gloves and tried to rip it off.

"Rule number 3, don't get cocky." Damion said, this time trying to trip Ajax with his legs while pulling at the gloves fiercely.

Katarina turned back to the fight with wide eyes. It didn't scare her, just interested and surprised her. She was in awe of how Damion didn't give up even though Ajax was a teacher and Probably had more experience.

Ajax jumped when he swiped, missing him by just an inch. "Ha! I'm surprised you actually listen to my lectures-" The male began, just then noticing Damion's attempts to remove his glove. He was about to react when Chiron every so rudely interrupted, calling for him from a few yards away. "Mr. Davidson! Please do save it for class-- you're causing quite the scene." The Centaur motioned for him to follow after waving to the students. He nodded, then using the hand that his partner wasn't tugging on to firmly pick him up off te ground with ease. "Alright, alright, you heard the man. Save your energy, you're going to need it later." Ajax then turned his attention to Katarina, Theo, and now Kian. "Remember, fighting is always the last resort." He said almost jokingly. "Go ahead and get settled in, i'm sure you all have some unpacking to do. It was a pleasure, ladies and gentleman." He backed away, bowing dramatically before turning and sprinting towards the centaur, who seemed a bit unnerved. That wasn't good.

Lamia was stuffing her clothes in her drawer. She was glad she was back for another year of camp. She wondered when her brother would walk in. A month ago Poseidon sent her a dream saying she would meet her half brother Theo. Lamia heard a chirp and walked out onto the dock. There a dolphin was swimming around trying to get her attention. "What is it buddy?" The dolphin chirped some more and Lamia stood up and ran out of the cabin. There a few meters away was a group. There were 3 boys, Ajax (her favorite counselor), Chiron, and a very pretty red head. Lamia walked up to the group but was too late because Ajax just left. "Aw. I wanted to say Hi. I've missed him." Lamia smiled at the group and waved to Damion. "It's nice to see you again Damion." She looked at the other three and smiled. "But sadly I don't know your names. I'm Lamia Northstar. What's yours?"

"Hi Lamia." Damion said, again somewhat hiding behind Katarina. He was beginning to feel claustrophobic and started to hyperventilate. He opened the door to the Hades cabin and slid in as he found himself on the ground breathing hard. He was having a panic attack.

"Ka-Katarina" The red head replied with a small smile. She was happy that she wasn't the only girl now. And this blonde was so beautiful! Katarina didn't think she was pretty, average but not pretty. She kinda wanted to make a flower crown for the girl but felt awkward as soon as she thought that. She tended to have a lot of random thoughts like that. Stepping farther away just slightly, she offered a wave.

Katarina glanced at the Hades cabin in concern. She wanted to go help Damion but she wasn't quite sure how to.

Smiling Lamia said, "Katarina..... The name that means Pure and Angelic. It fits you perfectly." She smiled at Katharina. She loved the color of her hair, it was gorgeous. She looked at the Hades cabin and sighed. "I forgot he doesn't like large crowds." She then looked at a boy with black hair who looked to be about 16 or 17. "I think I know who you are." Lamia took his hand and shook it slowely. "Welcome to Camp HalfBlood Theo. I'm glad I finally get to meet my older brother."

Katarina felt her eyes widen in surprise at the meaning of her name. She knew her mom had named her, and she felt touched it was a nice name. She was glad she was out of the crowd in a way, she could sympathize with Damion about that.

(HOLY CRAP I JUST REALIZED HOW LONG THIS IS. But please, bare with me.)

Ajax had followed Chiron back into the his personal cabin, a bit anxious now as he saw other counselors in the room with concerned looks on their faces. "Alright, explain." He stated seriously, to which everyone looked to Chiron. The centaur paced around the large guest room with a clearly cluttered mind. The room fell silent for a good minute and Ajax started to get a bit impatient. "Chiron." He stated his name firmly, "What's. Going. On?" He didn't answer at first, pouring a glass of water for himself. "Before I begin, I ask that we all remain calm-" His eyes scanned the room full of camp instructors. "-and collected." The old centaur gulped in some water, then setting the glass down. "I was just visited by Hermes." His voice was lowly.

"Hermes?" A few counselors repeated in shock. "Why was he here?" Another questioned. Chiron coughed to clear his throat. "To deliver a message."

Ajax stiffened, something was off. "
OK, what kind of message?" He spoke up, eager to get this moving. The centaur gave him a concerned look, waiting a few moments before answering.

"It seems we have a war in Olympus."

A few gasps were heard, followed by mumbled chatter. "A war? Why?!" One of the female counselors asked with dread in her voice. "Some of the Gods believe Zeus should no longer rule on the thrown, they find him to be too soft, too forgiving. There has been a split-- those who appose Zeus believe in a new birth...a new world-" Chiron was cut off. "A new world? What on earth-"

"Let me finish." The male raised a hand to silence everyone, "The opposing God's...wish to resurrect Cronus." No sooner did the words leave the man's mouth did all hell break loose in the room. Gasping, screaming, and frantic speech made it hard to think. Chiron raised his voice begging everyone to calm down but to no avail. Ajax stood there with a hand on his temple. What the hell was happening? A war? Cronus? Why now? He could only imagine the fall out, how many innocent people would have tosufferbecause of childish bickering. His head began to pound and the panic in the room didn't help. Ajax clenched his fist, slamming it against the concrete wall out of frustration. The sudden loud bang manage to shut everyone up-- so at least it solved that problem. "Everyone quiet!" Ajax yelled, "Let him finish!" His blue eyes locked onto Chiron's. "Alright. No details left out, put everything on the table now. No interruptions, no outbursts. We need to understand the full gravity of the situation. So please, everyone remain silent." His speech was strong, but he felt weak, scarred even. A war in the heavens was bad enough, but now threatening to resurrect Cronus? That was madness.

"Yes... thank you, Mr.Davidson." He cleared his throat while rubbing his temple. "Hermes was rather short with me, he didn't have much time to explain, but I will give you all what he gave me." The centaur crossed his arms. "Apparently there has been friction in Olympus for a while now. God arguing with God, one disagreement after another. It was only just a few moments ago, however, that the deceleration of war made everything official. Zeus is one side, the side which endorses a free world without a God's dictating rule. He is against rebuilding a new world and has apparent faith for his creation, man kind." Chiron paused for a brief moment to prepare for what he was about to say. "Hades is the opposing side. As you all know, he is very spiteful when it comes to his brothers, this is nothing new. But he has somehow manage to convince more than half of the Gods to join him in pursuit of a new rule, a new... "perfect" following, as Hermes put it. He said that Hades is set on resurrecting his father and murdering the God's who appose his ideal."

"Wait-" Ajax began, "I know Zeus, I know Hades, but what about the rest? Who has joined who?" Chiron nodded a bit frustrated, "I'm getting to that. Zeus has his brother, Poseidon by his side and for the rest...? Well, Hermes of course didn't mention everyone down the list, but he did bring up a few. Apollo, Artemis, Athena, Hestia, and Hera to name a few. As for Hades?... We have a bit to worry about. Ares has joined his ranks, along with Circe, Eris, Enyo, and even Hephaestus-- thats just a a short breifing." Panic started to raise in the room again but a good grunt from Ajax lowered the volume, and Chiron was able to continue.

"Now this is the real concern i'm having, the main reason I brought you all here." The room fell silent, dread hitting them. Hard. "Some God's are threatening the safety of the children in this camp. They're reasoning is to attack the children of their enemies to hit them were it hurts. A good tact, but a selfish one. Now this is happening on both sides, Hermes didn't specify with name's but i'm sure some of you can make a few guesses. Either way, we have a serious issue on our hands. You are all here to put up a vote on what we should do. I need suggestions, people, these children are counting on you-- on us to protect them. Now if anyone is not up to the task, I suggest you leave
now."

An awkward silence filled the room, and a few counselors actually left. Cowards.

"OK...now that we have that out of the way, lets find out a way to protect our campers."

(Yes, I kinda stole the plot of Wrath of the Titans. BUT DRAMA THO.)

Theo looked at Lamia, not knowing what to say. "I-I never knew. It's nice to meet you." He says, shaking her hand. Since a few days ago, he just found out he was a half-blood, and now he has a half sister ? Theo was stunned, but he couldn't keep a smile from forming on his face.

Katarina felt really out of place and wanted to find her cabin. But she was still uncomfortable about who her parent was and at the moment only trusted Damion about it. She also wanted to check on him so she went up and knocked on his cabin.

Lamia smiled at Theo. "Well of course you know our cabin is down their near the shore. Chiron added onto it to give a girls side, for me, and a boys side, for you." Lamia smiled at the other guy. "Theo if you want you can go start unpacking, I'll be there soon to get you settled in, I wanna meet this guy first."

((Just for future notice please pm me for plot ideas, secondly HOLY BATMAN ALFRED JOKER ASDA BFASDFAD DAT DRAMA DOH))

Damion heard the knock and opened the door with a shuddering hand as he stood, slightly wobbly. He was beginning to feel better. Damion looked at Katarina and was happy it was her, not someone else. He hated people he knew seeing his mental breakdown.

"Sure, Lamia was it? I will go un-" He paused a bit after putting the bag on his back, letting out a small sigh. "Unpack. I would like to talk to you after that, seeing as you know more about this." He says, smiling, as sweat started to form on his forehead due to the stuff he had packed in. He got to the cabin and started to put his things in his drawer. Enough clothes to last one year. He slowly took the sword out of the bag, looking at it. "... I don't even know how this got in my family..." The sword shined and turned into a key chain. Theo giggles and looks at it. "Well, this is new." He looked to his left, looking at the lake. He felt like he was attracted by it. But, he shaken it off. He felt bad for the one he bumped into, so he got a bag of chips he had in his bag, and headed to the Hades cabin. He knocked on the door, sighing.

"Are you Okay Damion?" Katarina asked shyly. Now that she was face to face with the shaky boy she felt unsure of What to say But she decided to go with her instinct "Crowds scare me too..."

"It was just a panic attack." Damion said. Damion had little control over his emotions, and often had nervous breakdowns like he had earlier. It was just a minor one, and crowds made it worse. Damion nodded at her words and looked at the bed. He was feeling sleepy, probably from the panic attack.

"I'll just take a nap and get better. Thanks." Damion said, walking to his bed and lying down. He began to feel his eyes droop until they were closed, and he drifted into sleep. Then the nightmares began. He was tortured with visions of his father trying to resurrect Cronus. Damion was disgusted with his actions, but was soon taken to Zues, who had began to gather demigods to start a war between the gods. Both were building an army, and were ready for war. He woke with a start, as it was only a nap and only five minutes past. He got up and burst through his door and ran to the counselors cabin to see them in a meeting. He panted and realized they already knew. The war had began. That wasn't a vision of what might happen, it was a vision of what is happening. He looked towards Ajax and Chiron.

"How long until a quest is made?" Damion asked, "When it's made I have one request. I want to be in this quest. There can not be a war, especially now."

Katarina had wandered around after visiting Damion. She still didn't know where her cabin was. As she wandered, she saw a cabin that wasn't too far from the Hades cabin that had flowers all around it. Smiling, she had a feeling this was the right place. Instead of going straight inside though, she started to pick a few of the flowers.

"Alright, everyone, we need a strategy-" Chiron began speaking but was interrupted by Ajax. "The way I see it there is only one option, though most of may not agree with me... They have a right to know what's going on up there, we need to both educate and prepare the kids for any possible attack. We need weapons, armor, training-- the works." One of the counselors spoke up, "They're just kids, there must be some other way... maybe we could spread them out into patches? Hide them away somehow until this all passes?" Ajax shook his head, pacing now. "We are talking about Gods here, you think running and hiding will protect them-?" Another counselor interrupted him, "They're kids, Ajax, not soldiers. This isn't a war ground!"

Ajax scoffed and let out an annoyed laugh, "It isn't? Then what the hell do you call all this? Look, I know this isn't ideal, they should't have to deal with the sin's of their father's but whats done is done and we have a responsibility to do anything possible to protect them by any means necessary." An argument was about to break up in the room when Damion appeared. As soon as the boy was spotted, everyone shut up. Ajax cursed under his breath and Chiron stepped forward to Damion. "A quest..." The centaur repeated as if he was thinking something up. Ajax, as if he read his mind, quickly objected. "No... no, no, no we are not doing that." The man shook his head but Chiron lifted a hand to hush him, but he didn't give up. "Chiron, no. No way am I'm letting that happen." The centaur grunted, "This isn't just the camp thats in danger now, the whole goddamn world is in trouble. A war between the Gods only brings tragedy. Nature will loose its balance, storms, earthquakes, it'll be the bloody end of the world--the cloak between us and the normal world will be broken, we need to try everything." Chiron looked at Damion, still thinking up a plan. "It hasn't been the first time that a demi-god has proved to be a hero, and that's what we need right now...." Ajax threw up his hands in frustration as Chiron spoke, "Have you lost your mind?!"

"Ajax, you will be leading them." The centaur stated plainly. "Wait, wait, no one is leading or going anywhere. And who the hell is 'them'?"

"I want you and Damion here to gather more demi-gods, all in relation to the main competitors in this, you will go to Olympus and you will convince the Gods to cease their fighting." Ajax let out a good laugh as if the older man was joking, "
Convince? Are you kidding me? I am not about to take some kids into the eye of the storm. And what if we can't convince them, huh? What then?" Chiron shook his head while rubbing his temple, "Then you do whatever you can to make sure Cronus stays dead... and if need be..." The centaur was about to mention the possibility of having them fight their own parents, that's when Ajax lost it. "Holy sh- Seriously? No. No! No way i'm supporting that. There is another way, I just have to think about it-" Chiron interrupted him, his voice raising. "There is no other choice! And we don't have the time to think up another one. Now you know these kids, as soon as they find out they will want to go on this quest--with your consent or not-- or even mine. We might as well have some supervision this time, but if you won't go with them I will find someone who will!"

A small silence fell over the room and Ajax continued to pace. This was absolutely insane. Chiron had a point though, as soon as the campers got wind of this they would go out on their own, with or without anyone's permission-- thats how teenagers were. Ajax looked to Damion, who already was determined to go, and he made up his mind."Ok...ok, fine." He said breathlessly, and Chiron sighed in relief. "But we need to go about this carefully, we can't just go marching up to Olympus. Damion and I will get a group together, we'll get our experienced fighters and work out who their parents are-- hopefully we only have to convince them..."

(Sorry!
@Marvinok I'll make sure to PM you next time xD )

Theo managed to hear the whole conversation by standing near the door. A war in Olympus? Cronos? Those didn't sound like very great news. He smiled at the courage shown by Damian. He stood up, having been crouched the whole time, and enters the hall, going next to Damian, putting a hand on his shoulder. "You have got me in, no need to ask." He says smiling and looking around. "After all, a son of Poseidon is needed around here, right?"
