Lamia shook her head. "Hades......" She looked at the sky and noticed the sun was about to go down. "Geez if I see that underground freak again I'll give him a nice swimming lesson." Lamia said while holding a bubble of water. She sighed and the water disappeared. She climbed into the truck and sat beside Teresa. "Let's just go...." She said staring out the window and looking at the rising moon.

Katarina jumped in the back and started to weave flowers together. She hoped they would work again as charms. She felt her gut twist at the thought of Damion and tears pricked at her eyes but she remembered Damion telling her earlier not to cry, so she didn't. It wouldn't help him anyways.

Lamia watched out the window as they drove past trees. Lamia's eyes felt droopy and almost fell asleep. She sat up and stretched. How long has it been since they started driving again? Lamia looked over at Ajax. "Hey are we gonna stop somewhere to sleep or just stay in the truck tonight?"

Sam ran into the camp, gripping his bags exhaustedly and looked around, noticing the weird quiet air in the camp. Where was the shouting and screaming of friends? There was a certain somber {i almost typed sombrero} atmosphere, and he certainly didn't like it. He flung his stuff carelessly into the Zeus cabin and set off to find Lia {BC RN IM THE ONLY ONE AT CAMP HA}, but was greeted by Dez plopped in front of the Poseidon cabin. Dez stared at him, his expression subtly conveying, "I knew you'd go look for her." Sam rolled his eyes and knocked on the door of the cabin, waiting for an answer.


Lia flipped out of bed at the knock, staring around, her black hair wild and unruly. "WHO IS DISTURBING MY REST." she screamed at the door. "PUTIN." came the reply. Lia let out a short laugh and rolled off the bed. "Give me a moment, Sam. What took you so long anyway?" she called back as she combed down her curls and pulled on CHB shirt over her shorts. "Stuff. James was trying to stick some Russian politics into my head. Why's the camp so ominous and schist, by the way?" Lia flung open the door and was greeted by the black-haired boy, casually standing there with a giant pegasus beside him. "Hey Dez." Looking good, Lia. She smiled at the horse as Jar leapt from the cabin, barking like mad as he raced in circles around the pegasus. You too, Jar. "Well to be honest, Sammy, I'm not exactly sure. But when I woke up this morning-"


"More like noon."


"Shut up and let me finish. They were all getting ready to leave. Lamia and some new guy, that dude from the Hades cabin, Ajax too. They looked all self-important and stuff, it was really awkward. Of course, I was half-asleep, but I vaguely remember quite a few new people going on the quest. Hope they don't get eaten by a chimera or whatever."


"Don't jinx them, Li."


"I am not. Are you hungry? 'cause I am. I'll sit at your table because mine's lonely."


"Yeah okay."

Damion began to regain consciousness and woke up to see smoke coming out of his wound. "That's nice." Damion said, not worried. He had a sense of when people would die, he was no where near death.
