Fandom Camp Half-Blood

"This is crazy..." Ajax let out a tired laugh, shaking his head. "I know, on the first day too.. what a shame." Chiron answered taking another sip of his water.

"What now?" A counselor asked, taking a step towards the two. "Now we wait for the kids to get together and report back here, for now... we talk preparations. Training, weapons, help from the outside, all of that." Chiron stated with a more steady tone in his voice, then looking at Ajax to give his input.

"Alright. Everyone separate into groups," The man began-- his teacher side coming out. "I need the strong fighters on the left, the crafters in the middle, and the historians on the right." They hesitated at first but eventually followed his instruction, going into the categories they believed they were in. There were roughly about six counselors on the left, the fighters. Four counselors in the middle, the crafters. And seven on the right, the historians-- who studied the greek records, including every recorded 'mythical' and non-mythical battle.

"Good. Alright, fighters, you're job is to train all the campers as we head out to convince the God's. We need your skill in close and far-ranged combat, with or without a weapon. You need to prepare them for anything." Ajax then turned to the middle group, the crafters. "You will be making the weapons, anything and everything you can non stop. We need back-ups for the back-ups, understood? Incorporate it with classes, teach them how to create make-shift weapons on the spot," Finally, he turned to the third group, the historians. "You guys are important-- study the past to predict the future, right? So get ready to predict. You guys need to go over records of any and all Olympian-related wars, then passing that information on to the kids. You will also be in charge of battle strategy-- if Ares is on Hades side then you can expect some good fighting coming your way."

"Lastley, work together. You all have something to share, together...well, you'll be fine, ok?"

The counselors all agreed, a bit more relaxed as some order set in.

(Congrats!)

Jayce was sleeping in the woods around Camo Half-Blood, not knowing it was there. He has been living in those woods for a few days and he has never gone exploring. Until today. He woke up abruptly when he thought that he smelled something. His bright blue eyes shot open and he stood up not knowing if there was someone looking for him after his father killed his mother. Jayce started to think about his mother but he quickly shook off the feeling of sadness and he stood up remembering that there might be a mercenary from his father. But this person smelled different from all of the other humans. He or she had a slightly different smell. Jayce became curious of this person and he started to wander closer to them, walking over fallen trees and stepping on plants. When he became closer after a while, he noticed someone walking around a, camp site? Jayce walked even closer, now smelling even more people like the first one. He got even closer hoping he wouldn't be seen. It was a good thing he was in his human form or else he would probably scare the other person or multiple people. He quickly made his way to the kid standing by the camp when he saw the sign that said, "Welcome to Camp Half-Blood!" Br said out loud, "What is Camp Half-Blood?"

Damion nodded and stood. "I must go tell Ajax that we finished recruiting." Damion said as he opened the door and stepped outside. As walked toward the cabin of the counselors the Ares kids looked at him and yelled words of encouragement. Normally they hated him, but today they didn't. The Aphrodite kids glared at him, nothing new, but they seemed to want to harm him. The Ares kids threw insults at the Aphrodite kids, something completely strange. Damion stepped into the cabin to see them all separated. Damion stepped toward Ajax and said, "Everyone is set. We have to begin training now. People are already on edge and the Ares kids are looking at everybody like fresh targets, except me. Normally they hate me and ignore me, but not today. I think the gods have already contacted their children. We have to act quick."

Lamia stepped outside and breathed in the fresh air. For some reason the Hades cabin made her feel squished inside. Lamia looked around noticing some Ares kids glaring at her. "What in Tartarus is going on?* she thought. She then realized everyone was acting strange because of the war. " Great..", she said to herself. She went down to the shore while waiting for Damion to return. She took off her shoes and put her feet in the water. They were gonna have to do some tough training to get everyone ready. Lamia sat and stared across the water. "Goodness why can't the gods stop fighting for once!", she said in frustration.

Katarina went and sat on the porch of the Hades cabin. The Ares kids didn't pay her any attention. Nobody but Damion knew her godly parent and she was at the Hades cabin.

//sorry for short Replies, I'm in class//

Theo felt bad. He looked at the empty room. In big crowds, he is sometimes quiet and restrictive. A weight was put on his shoulders, the whole world. Every living human would be killed, as Earth would be the main battlefield, and the losing side in this war. Theo opened the door to the Hades cabin and decided to head to his own. He saw other half bloods preparing. It had become a military encampment now, weapons everywhere, instructions being shouted in every direction. As he arrived at his cabin he saw his sister sitting on the edge of the lake. He slowly made his way there, sitting near her, staring into the distance. "Look, I'm sorry for that."

Ajax turned to see Damion ready to report, and he listened. "Good. I'll go with you to meet everyone and see what we have to work with." Ajax was eager to discover the other kids Damion asked to join him, but his attitude completely changed once Damion mentioned what happened with the children of Area. "Damn it." He whispered, "We cant have the kids turning against each other... Chiron I trust you'll handle that, right now I have to go to meet the other's going on the quest. We should call a meeting tonight with everyone, thats when you should explain the entirety of the situation to them." The centaur nodded, "If the Gods are already contacting their kids then we really do have to move fast."

Everyone agreed.

Ajax turned to Damion, proceeding to walk with him out the cabin. "Ok-" He began, already noticing the change in the kids. "Considering how fast things are moving: we might need to leave as early as tomorrow." Ajax clenched his fists, this was all moving so fast, almost too fast for his liking. He could handle it, yes, but the kids shouldn't have to.

Lamia looked at Theo puzzled and said, "Why are you sorry? You did nothing wrong." Lamia sighed and stared back across the lake. "I should be the one apologizing. It's just I never had a real brother before and I don't want to lose you." She smiled at Theo and said, "Though I'm pretty sure you can take care of your self." She touched the water and waited. A few seconds later a dolphin poked its head out of the water and clicked. The dolphin swam over to Theo and swam around getting Theo's attention.

Theo smiles at the dolphin and holds his hand out. "I don't want to lose you either. At least you can protect me if I get into trouble." He says, looking at his sister. "I just found out yesterday I was a demigod. Now, a war is going on between the gods. Why are wars always the means to resolve any conflict? I know Hades was tricked by Zeus to rule the underworld, but he has Pesephone. And why other gods are with him? Ares, he has a seat in Olympus, had a whole city worshiping him, that almost ruled all of Greece."

Lamia shrugged. "I think most of them act more like children then they do Gods." Lamia looked at the sky and smiled. "I'm kinda glad our dad didn't start this war. When him and Zeus were fighting about Zeus's lightning bolt being stolen, one of Poseidon's sons were blaimed." Lamia looked at Theo and smiled. "I'm thankful the leader of all Gods isn't after us." Lamia petted the dolphins head slowly. "Though I worry about Hades. He will probably come after the kids of Zeus and Poseidon, and that's not the best news for us."

"But, the thing I wonder is, what are we going to do? We cannot face a god. Hercules barely could handle Atlas, how about 4 inexperienced kids battling probably 9 gods? Our father might be Poseidon, but Ares could still throw armies of bloodthirsty kamikaze soldiers at us." He says, sighing. Theo didn't really have an idea about what to do. "Are we going to gather the mythological creatures on our side? Are we gonna 'convert' gods to our side? Are we going to gather as much demigods as possible and defend Olympus?"

"Well so far we are gonna head over and talk to the gods at Olympus. Though it may not be a good idea of Damion going to Zeus, I heard gods are going after each other's kids." Lamia looked back and noticed Damion and Ajax heading to Hades cabin. "I knew Ajax would be our adult companion." Lamia smirked and stood up. She dried off her feet and put her shoes back on. She looked down at Theo and offered her hand. "Now wanna go see what the plan is?", she asked.

Theo smiles and grabs her hand, rising up. He saw she had a sort-of attraction towards Ajax, and it made him giggle to himself. "Of course. And don't worry, Damian is backed by us." he says, laughing to himself and heading towards the Hades cabin. "You coming?"

Katarina stood up as she saw Damion and Ajax coming towards the cabin. She wondered if Ajax was coming too. The thought of having combatants of Damion's and Ajax's skill made her feel a lot better. She was a laid sure Lamia was good with her blades.

"Of course!", Lamia said to him. She ran after him and changed to a steady walk when she caught up. Her and Theo walked over to Katarina and waited for Damion and Ajax. Lamia then just realized she was the youngest out of all of them. *Great I'm gonna be the baby of the quest.* she thought. She crossed her arms and smiled at Ajax, "Nice to see you again Ajax."

Ajax had concern written all over his face and it was clear that he was thinking about something. He looked over the few that were selected and wasn't disappointed. Each one had their own individual skill that could be utilized on the quest, in battle and out. Damion did a good job getting this group together, and Ajax gave him a short nod and smile to let him know.

"Ah, yes! Good to see you too, Lamia." He smiled warmly, "I wish it could be under better circumstances, though." His eyes then scanned over the rest, a more serious tone to his voice setting in. "As you all know, we have a big problem on our hands. Due to the severity of the situation we might have to leave camp earlier than expected." Ajax loosely crossed his arms, looking from side to side to make sure no one was listening in. "Now I know for some of you this might be your first quest, and if not that, the biggest quest you've had yet. But don't let that get to you. Hopefully we can get through this smoothly be what also have to prepare for the worst. I should let you know that as soon as we set foot off these grounds our lives will be in danger. Hades' has eyes and ears everywhere so it won't take long for him and the rest to find out what were up to."

Ajax paused for a small moment of time. "If any of you aren't ready for that, we need to know now."

Lamia leaned against the wall and smiled. "Well I'm perfectly fine with it. How about you guys?", she asked her brother and Katarina. She took off her earrings and tapped them. They then transformed to her twin blades. She hooked them on her belt and looked up at the group smiling.

Katarina nodded shyly "I'm in it! I couldn't stand the thought of staying here after be asked on a quest to stop all this! I'd be so mad at myself." She twisted her rings and they turned into her two blades. She smiled and gave a nod to Lamia. Even though the girl was younger then her, Katarina looked up to the sea god's daughter.

"I can't go back on a promise." Theo says, grabbing the key chain that turned into an old greek blade. He looks at Ajax, smiling. "You will have to train me teach, cause I didn't really go to sword fighting school."

Katarina giggled and nodded to that "Me too...but we'll learn fast. Right?" She asked Theo. She was warming up to the group now. She felt a lot more comfortable around them. She glanced at Damion to see how he would react to their enthusiasm. She hoped he was proud of his choices, especially her as she felt average compared to the children of two of the Big Three.

"I am sure we will." He looks at Katarina, smiling at her enthusiasm. Theo then reverted his gaze to Ajax. "Can you tell us some details about what would we be doing? I mean, I understand we might go and beg the Olympian gods for help, but we must have a plan B, right?" Theo says, going to stand near the window, looking out.

//Yea maybe they have another date tonight XD//

Lamia smiled at Katarina and her brother. "I'm a bit rusty so I might need to train a bit too." Lamia then noticed a boy staring at the Camp HalfBlood sign. She felt a weird presence from him like he wasn't any ordinary demigod. She looked back at the group and asked, "So are we leaving tomorrow then? Because I wanna spend at least one night in my old cabin before we go."

The guard outside of the camp quickly noticed Jayce and he called him over. Jayce walked to him and they introduced each other. After a short talk, the guard led Jayce towards Ajax, telling him who Jayce was and why he was there. Jayce quickly said, "Hi. I'm Jayce as he said. I'm here because I live in the woods around here and I haven't seen this place before. I was just curious." He bowed to the counselor and waited bent down until the counselor released his position.

Ajax couldn't help but smile at their enthusiasm. It was good that they were so up for it because they were going to need that same drive once they started their journey. "Don't worry, im sure it will come naturally to all of you-- but of course, Damion and I will be sure to squeeze in however many practices necessary when possible." He glanced over to Theo, then down to the ground. "The plan is that we head down to New York then hitch a ride up to Olympus through the Empire State. I know it sounds easy enough, but it won't be. I can already predict the God's sending down a few lovely monsters for us to face in order to stop us from so much as touching Olympus-- especially since we're all half-bloods. Plan B? We join Zeus' side in the fight against the other God's. No matter what-- we need to make sure Cronus stays dead."

The counselor nodded to Lamia, "Of course, everyone gets to relax for the night but be ready by no later than 8:00-" A new camper caught his attention and Ajax turned to face him, raising an eyebrow. He felt something odd about him, not bad, just odd-- different from the rest of the kids. The man dismissed the guard, thanking him. "Good to meet you, Jayce. You can call me Ajax. Well you obviously have a lot to learn about this place so..." He looked back to the group, giving them a look of 'anymore questions?' before turning back to Jayce. "-- Tonight there will be a camp gathering, there you will get all the information you need and more-- but for now you can head right on over tooooo that cabin right there." He pointed towards the large cabin in the middle, belonging to Chiron. "He will tell you where you need to be. I look forward to seeing you tonight, Jayce." Ajax held out a hand for him to shake.
