Fandom Camp Half-Blood

Lamia pushed her clothes into her bookbag. She just unpacked and got everything organized but now she has to repack. She touched the end of her blades and they turned into two match Poseidon's Trident earrings. She put them on and looked in the mirror. She smiled at herself in the mirror and turned to her bag again. She thought about what she packed, *Clothes: Checked, Blades: Checked, Food/Water: Checked* She felt like she was missing something. "Oh yeah", she said to herself. Lamia went over to her nightstand and picked up her charm bracelet. She slid it on her wrist and grabbed her bag. Lamia walked up the hill to the dining hall.

Damion didn't need to pack. He always wore the clothes on his back. He waited anxiously for the other demigods to return.

//Now we wait for others to respond.//

Katarina walked over with a small pack. It had one change of clothes but mostly carried Food. She had a feeling that might be important. Her rings glittered on her fingers as she grew more tense.

Lamia walked over to Damion and smiled. "Ready to head to Olympus?" Lamia placed her bag on the table and sat down. She noticed all the other campers left to go get ready for the bonfire tonight. Lamia sighed. She really wanted to go to the bonfire tonight, it was one if her favorite things about Camp HalfBlood. Lamia played with her charm bracelet and looked at Ajax and Chiron talking. She couldn't wait to get this quest over with.

Katarina reached Damion and Lamia. She felt relaxed around her two new friends. "Have either of you been to Olympus?" She felt curious about their destination. It had a full history and was rumored to be grand and breath taking. She was trying to focus on brighter things so that she didn't worry herself sick. She started to braid her fiery hair to get it out of her face.

Jayce had already packed the night before because he liked to plan ahead. When he got to the group, he said to them, "Im ready. Does anyone know when we leave?"

Lamia smiled at Katarina. Even when Lamia was in a bad mood this girl made her feel better. "I have been once for a field trip my first year. Also, it is amazing. It is like a huge mountain and the temples for each god line up along the path going up the mountain. And of course Zeus's temple is at the very top, his is ginormous!" Lamia looked at Jayce and smiled. She didn't know he was coming, but she felt better that they were going to have more help. Lamia waved and said, "Oh, hi Jayce! I think we were gonna leave when the rest of the group gets here. Which is Theo and Ajax."

// Does any one else think we should have a child of Zeus or something? It feels kinda like we are missing a piece when there is no son or daughter of Zeus. //

Katarina's eyes glazed over as she imagined Olympus. She started to wonder about the gardens there and if they had any flowers she hadn't seen before. Her mind got so far away that when Jayce came up and spoke it caused her to jump and her cheeks to redden in embarrassment. "H-h-hi" She whispered and suddenly wished her hair was down to hide her face.

// @Andrea Logan I think almost everyone favors Poseidon out of the big three. I mean we only have one Hades child too.//

Jayce smiled and said, "In case y'all didnt know, I'm Jayce, son of-" he paused and coughed. He decided to not tell the group of his father until he had to. "Anyways. I don't think I have met all of you yet. What are your names?" He smiled and rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.

"I'm Katarina" The red haired girl replied shyly, edging behind Damion and Lamia. She was easily intimidated by males, having lived with a man who lived to scare her into submission. She didn't offer up who her parent was, catching his hesitation on that as well.

Lamia got up front her chair and shook Jayce's hand. "My name is Lamia. And I am the child of Poseidon. As you can tell." She said pointing at her Poseidon trident earrings. "Nice to meet you Jayce." Lamia felt that wierd presence again and took her hand away. She looked at her hand then back at Jayce. She realized she just did something kinda rude. She put on a apologetic smile and said, "Sorry, I didn't mean to. I get a little edgy sometimes." Lamia sat down and looked at her hands.

Katarina put a hand on Lamia's shoulder in comfort. She sensed something off as well about Jayce. She eyed him curiously.

Jayce shook Lamia's hand. He cocked his head when she pulled away and he said, "No no. It's fine. Ive gotten that before. I give off an eerie vibe apparently." He laughed awkwardly trying to cover up the fact that he was indeed special. He rubbed the back of his neck and looked down.

Ajax rubbed the back of his neck, a bit nervous. This was big. As in 'the whole worlds at stake' kinda big. And to top it off; kids were coming along. He had complete faith in them, yes, but it just... worried him. They're lives were at stake-- he didn't want to lose any of them. He sighed, placing his black hiking back-pack on his shoulders as he watched the kids gather together. Chiron stood next to the man with arms crossed, ready to watch them head out.

"You all are heading out now." Chiron stated, a bit shaky. "I trust...no, I know all of you will deliver just fine. Just stick together, alright?" The centaur then turned his head to Ajax, signalling him to take the lead. "Alright... we head to New York. Hopefully all will go well and we'll get there with no trouble."

"Doesn't seem likely." Chiron said under his breath, to which Ajax gave him a scolding look.

"We'll be fine. Don't sweat it, ok guys?" Chiron nodded in agreement, correcting himself. "You all have about three days, maybe four until all hell breaks out." The centaur added, motioning to the camp entrance. " I wish you all luck-- now if you'll excuse me, I have a camp full of panicked young adults to handle." Ajax laughed a bit before heading towards the entrance, looking over his shoulder. "Seriously, though, we'll be fine." He returned his gaze to the large 'Camp Half-Blood' sign.

"Hopefully."

Theo went fast to his cabin and packed his things in a hurry. He fazed out a little too much and had now ran to the entrance, holding his hand up and panting. "Wait for me!" Theo yelled, picking up the pace to keep with them. His bag was still heavy, having packed a couple of things he taught he needed. It was heavy, and he tripped and fell, face first into the dirt. He looked up and picked himself up, dusting the dust from his clothes, then smiled, starting to walk again. "I need to learn to watch my feet."

//sorry for not responding for a long time, been tired and the teachers didn't ease up

Lamia wiped some dirt off of his face for him and smiled. "I guess falling on your face is in the family, because I do that all the time too.", Lamia said laughing a bit. Lamia walked behind Ajax and looked ahead along the path. "So can you tell me who this friend is?" Lamia adjusted her bookbag straps and turned back at camp. *Bye Camp HalfBlood.....* Lamia thought and turned back to the group.

Lia rose from her blanket mound and yawned, rolling around a bit. She slipped off her bunk, still in her pajamas, which consisted of an oversized shirt and a pair of comfy shorts, and stumbled out of the cabin, groaning at the sunlight. She almost turned around and walked back into the cabin when she noticed Lamia, standing far far away, at least that's what it seemed like to the sleepy girl. She somehow managed to keep her balance as she made her way to her half-sister, and smiled giddily at her. "What time is it?" Lia mumbled, rubbing her eyes as she swayed slightly. The demigod somehow managed to pull off her current look, with her disheveled black locks, half-closed lids, crumpled shirt and bare feet.

{is this an okay pop-in?}

@Andrea Logan

//Yup. Good pop in is good. Also if you are tagging Andrea she is with the people on a quest, and if you are tagging her for the ooc question, I am the creator of the thread. Sorry :3//

Damion walked at the front of the group, him being the only one to go through the underworld. He knew the time limit and figured they could get to the Empire state building in two days, and the last day to make them all stop fighting. He knew what way to head as he had been there twice before. Damion continued the path for what seemed like hours before he saw an abandoned truck, what he used to get to Olympus last time. "Follow me." Damion said, walking towards the truck. He touched the handle and the rust, decay, and moss seemed to just fall off. Since it was technically a dying machine, he could somewhat control it. He used this to hide the truck all the time. Damion opened the door and grabbed a pair of keys from his pocket and started the ignition. He pulled onto the road and continued driving.

Katarina giggled once she was sure Theo was Okay. She giggled more at What Lamia said About it running in the family. She couldn't help but think it was cool Damion could drive such an old truck. She wondered how it wasn't falling apart.

//sorry for my character being so quiet, bit I'll still reply like this//

Jayce looked at the kid who had fallen and he stared at him. He didnt want to leave him there but he didnt want to do anything because he was too shy. "Are you ok?" He asked him, finally mustering up the strength to do so. When he got to te truck he felt nervous. He neer really liked riding in vehicles but he had to. E slowly started towards the truck.

Theo smiles at his sister, then looked at Jayce. "Oh yeah. Nothing broken." He says, following behind him. "Also, I don't think we met yet. I'm Theo." He says, walking and extending his hand at Jayce's side. Theo kept his eyes at the truck, speaking up. "Hey! Are you sure it can start?" He says, giggling a little. He then seated himself in the back, sighing. "Well, now I look like a fool." He says, in remark to his observation earlier, friendly patting Damion on the back.

Jayce smiled. "Hey Theo. I'm Jayce. Nice to meet you." He shook his hand and sat across from him on the truck. He felt slightly awkward, just meeting these people and going on a very important quest with them. He would have to be extra nice so they would know he meant no harm.

Katarina had been staring at the truck nervously. She knew if she got in the bed she'd fall out somehow. She shyly climbed into the cab with Damion. "Hi" she squeaked out then blushed at her nervousness. She was on edge.

Ajax grimaced at the sight of the truck.

"Wow, Damion. That's... ah... a nice truck you got there." He smiled a bit jokingly, walking towards the rusted vehicle to give it a quick pat. "If it drives, it drives. Its simple but it will get us to where we need to go." He reassured the group. Ajax got in the back, pulling his pack off to set on his lap. "If we crash, i'm blaming you." He said to Damion, sitting back a bit more relaxed than a few moments ago.

He suddenly felt a faint vibration in his pocket. His phone. He pulled it out to see Chiron's contact appear on the front and he didn't hesitate to answer.

"Hows everything going, Ajax?"

"We
just left, bud. We're fine." The man was almost amused, giving the kids around him a look that read 'can you believe this?'

"I'm going to hang up." Ajax stated.

"Wait! Are you sure everything's alright?"

"Goodbye." And with that, he hung up and placed the phone back in his pocket. "So...this will probably be a long drive."

(
@Andrea Logan, just to catch you up-- we're all in Damion's truck right now.)

Lamia smiled painfully at the truck. "First class travel." She said joking. Lamia threw her bag in the back and hopped in the truck. She put her hair in a ponytail and sighed. "When I get my driver's license I'm gonna get a nice red KIA, so I can drive in style." Lamia looked back at the faraway Camp HalfBlood sign. She wished Lia could join them, she always like when Lia was around. Lamia looked up front and smiled. "Ok! Let's get this show on the road!"

// Also thank you @TheWriter! Oh and sorry I haven't replied, I don't get internet access at school. //
