Saving my character's bayonet and pickaxe just for that part. Or I can just waste him in a bayonet charge next post. Can't decide (>_<)

Yea, when I first got back to Vietnam, peeps called it CKC and I got confused, but I figured its the same rifle chambered for the standard 7.62 by 39mm.

Makarov is K59, and Tokarev is K54. Different designations in Vietnam threw me off xD
 
We designated it CKC because Cyrillic reasons. We see the letter C, e call it the letter C. Not sure about K59 and K54 though. Komrade might know more about that.

Sushi was quite close :D. The "K" in K59 and K54 stands for kiểu (type).
It's equivalent of the Chinese Type 59 and Type 54.
 
I stand corrected. Didn't think we'd actually emulate the Chinese designations haha.

Hello! I expressed my interest in the Interest Check but I thought I'd make a greeting here as well.

I noticed your guys' recent posting about wanting new players, and this being a realistic military RP I could hardly resist the temptation. Though I also took note that this RP is a few months old, and I wasn't too sure if this RP was already set and done with players.

Anyway, I have plans to read up on synopsis and IC posts to get a gist of the RP. I was also wondering if there was anything else I needed to know before I think about jumping in.

I wasn't too sure if your char was speaking to me in IC.
"Savage 1"; is Lysander speaking to Landon via radio? Given that's Landon's lastname.
 
Yep. That's what I was going for. If I don't know a callsign I just make one up. I thought savage 1 was a pretty good one.
 
My character is counted among those around the jeeps, so you can move on. Unless you need a specific post, I'll do a quick one, no worries. I'm still trying to get my internet at home up. Won't be posting til later this week (Friday hopefully).
 
Apologies, didn't really notice how short my last post was, and if we are just wanting to move on I believe my character is nearing the trucks as well. Again, apologies.
