I've been debating that. Likely there would be a remedy against the immediate symptoms that one of our healers would carry, as to the dark magic effects, I was thinking of having something that we'd have to quest to learn to cure. Your thoughts?

They are quick. Most spiders (even the big ones) are terrifyingly quick when agitated.

How to join, well, there would be a lot of npcs poisoned with spider venom. You could fly in to the periphery of the fight to try and help them. Or you can go in weapons flashing and attack the spiders.
