You would be surprised to learn Mathias is in the police force because he certainly doesn't act like it. He is quiet, reserved and calm but if you knew him a bit more he is optimistic, cheerful and very loyal. He is easily embarrassed and gets flustered over small things though on the other hand you would have to try very hard to make him angry. He is intelligent in a way that he is observant and calculative, his brain works much like Sherlock's but just slower.

Bio:

Mathias was born and raised in Manchester, he had two brothers and a sister who were all older than him and loved football. Manchester itself is a very football-y city but Mathias just didn't understand the point of kicking a ball around, why waste money on weekly matches when you could be spending it on things that really mattered? This willingness to make a difference brought him out of Manchester and into London where he attended University. During his college years he has heard an awful lot about Sherlock Holmes, the infamous consulting detective with his almost inhuman intelligent and observation. After Uni Mathias joined the police force to aid him in his work

She finds people who she deems less intelligent to her amusing and doesnt really have a filter for what she says. Always implying that John and Sherlock are together though john always denies.

She graduated school at a young age and recently finished her masters degree. Her excuse for visiting is an 'internship' for sherlock since Mycroft wouldn't accept her offer to work for him.
