"My children, Seek out the Titans, they can guide your actions and give you the power to fight back this plague. You must seek out all 6 of them, only then can you truly start to drive it back."

These were the last world that echoed through your mind as you wandered the beautiful city of Majabong. You haven't heard from the Spirit in weeks, where was your help? Were you on the right path? Were you suppose to be here? Then as if from nowhere another voice rings through your head, this one was male from the female one of the World Spirit,

"YOU COME SEEKING THE SPIRIT TO ENTER LANDS UNKNOWN, YOU WISH THE BLESSING OF THE TITANS? COME SEEK ME AT THE ALTAR OF SPIRIT."

The voice was loud, so loud you felt your whole body shake. Was that the Titan of Spirit? He sure sounded like he had spirit, more so then anyone else you knew. So now your mission is clear; find the Altar of Spirit and receive the Titan's Blessing.

Chapter 0: New Heroes arise
The murmurs of the remaining citizens of the world filled Majabong, the Titan here certainly has his work cut out for him. The scourge is only a few years old but it spread at an alarming rate and Majabong seemed like the only city unnaffected by it. With the Titan of Spirit's words freshly echoing in the minds of our 'heroes', they begin to think to themselves. Are they really cut out for this job? Why did the World Spirit pick them? Answers will only come in time.

Calum wandered the market area of Majabong, the titan's words in his mind, 'So... it's begun. We have a lot of work to do.' He thought to himself.

"Sir? Are you make a purchase?" This sudden remark snapped him out of his trance,

"Hmm? Oh yes, my apologies. These ones will be fine." He picked up an apple and tossed the clerks a gold coin, "Keep the change." He walked away, taking a bit of the newly bought apple.

Tomomi
Last night, she had finally received a directive. A goal to move towards, in this stagnating world of the dying. "Yosh!" With this spirited yell, Tomomi hastily packed up the camp she had set in the woods outside Majabong. She couldn't wait to get going, to find the first titan. It had irritated her to no end, being able to do nothing aside watching as the world slowly decayed.

When she walked through the city's gates alone, with a backpack the size of her body, the gatekeepers gave her looks of pity but said nothing. Apparently traveling children who had lost their parents were a common sight, these days. Tomomi didn't care at all, though, finding her sight stolen by the first fully populated human settlement in half a year. The roads had been long and the beasts tough, but she had finally reached the city. Her head whizzed around the area just inside the gates, looking for the guides that would be there in her home city. There were none to speak of, though, and Tomomi was left clueless. Merchants know the answer? Her father always talked about how coin spoke, though Tomomi didn't understand the non-literal meaning of the statement until recently. She didn't have much of value on her, so she had to find some way to earn coin though. Merchants were almost always greedy when they saw her ears and tail. Puzzled over the issues she needed to solve the further she thought, she decided to walk towards the commercial district to see if something popped out. The entire time, she was too excited to think that the spirit of the world had spoken to several using the words 'my children'.

Grov had been helping a man move his broken cart by carrying it when he saw a young child carrying a large backpack towards the market area. He calmly walked over and asked in his most gentle voice, which still sounded like an avalanche "Little one would you like some help with your load?"

"Eeeek!" Tomomi, startled by the fact that there was a huge pile of rocks talking to her, jumped back with her tail going straight. She didn't lose her balance on the landing, though, and recovered from the startle splendidly. "Ah! I, uh, I'm sorry! I've never seen someone like you before so I just..." Tomomi trailed off, feeling guilty for her reaction that likely hurt the big guy. At least she thought it was a guy. After a moment, she realized that it had asked her if she needed help with her bag, and she shook her head really fast. "Nope, I'm all good with this, I was born strong! Thanks for the offer, though!" Tomomi tensed her arm muscles that didn't look developed, trying to show off like her dad's bar mates did. Not sure if the odd creature wanted to say anything else, she decided to stay still for a moment. It seemed big, so maybe it was the titan she was supposed to be looking for?

Grov chuckled at the little ones reaction and said "Do not worry little one I have been around a long time so your reaction isn't unreasonable." He was surprised when the young one said she was fine with her bag. "I see well you seem to be heading to the market, well so am I." He nudged his head towards the cart full of grain he was carrying across hi shoulder. "A famers wheel broke so I'm helping him carry it to the market but well.....he seems to have been uncomfortable around me so he went on ahead but I would enjoy the company if its not too much of a bother." He was curious and really did want someone to chat with because well most people felt uncomfortable around him.

"Yeah, sure! I can go there with you." Nodding her head, Tomomi ran to beside the giant, looking curiously at its body. "You know, I've never seen anything like you before where I'm from~ I mean, I've seen some mages moving rocks, but you move by yourself! How does that work? Are the rocks really your body? Oh, wait, I'm being rude! What's your name? I'm Tomomi!" She let her questions out rapid-fire, a bit overwhelmed by the oddity of her current situation. True to her word, the bag on her back filled with camping and travel gear didn't seem to bother her at all as she ran circles around Grov with her nervousness fueling her hyper attitude. She hadn't really talked to anyone the past six months, so it was even harder to keep calm.

"Hahaha, it's okay and my name is Grov." He continued towards the market as she ran around him. "As to your questions I'm more than happy to explain, technically the stuff that makes up my outer body is ore but no this isn't my true body that is here." He pointed to the glowing hole in his chest. "We're called Golems and are bodies can be made from all kinds of things from stone to even straw. As for how I move, well even my kind don't know how we do it. What about you, your so small and yet you show no signs of tiring even with that bag of yours."

Calum Revus
Calum wandered the market area, seeing a pile of rocks helping, what looked like a little girl, reaffirmed his hope. He approached the two,the rock golem seeming taller closer then far away. "As if it wasn't bad already that the undead roam outside the walls now we have talking rocks." He made a quick crack at Grov, not really caring that he was interrupting the conversation. He decided to stay quiet though if Grov made a response, he skillfully and charmingly slipped himself into yet another conversation he wasn't a part of, a very unique skill he had.

Grov eyed the man who made the comment and he put the cart down gently and walked over to the group, which caused the others to quiye down and back away slightly. "I would so appreciate it if you would not insult me, I have done nothing but help and yet you compare me to undead." He had been insulted before but found that most when confronted with a 8 foot tall golem would usually apologize. He didn't want trouble though, especially with the kid near but he just couldn't let the insult slide.

Found in a rather awkward situation out of the blue, Tomomi decided to show her support for Grov by nimbly climbing onto him and wrapping her arms around what seemed to be his head, though she had just learned it wasn't really part of his body. The gesture ended up being her awkwardly sprawled on top of the golem, but she thought that it conveyed her feelings. As an added bonus, Tomomi pulled down her eyelid and stuck her tongue out at the strange man who offended Grov, the highest offense she could think of to send his way.

Took offense to Tomomi's actions, "Aw, now you see, THAT'S mean. I am deeply offended that--" He was cut off by a sudden darkening of the sky that lasted for at least 2 seconds but when he would look up to the sky he wouldn't see anything, "Hmm, I think the sun died for a second there." He completely ignored the fact that even said anything to the golem previously, "Anyways, you know what else is rude? Not answering someone's, or in this case, something's question." He looked at Tomomi, "I mean... he... she... it did ask you something, no?"

Grov was warmed to the core by Tomomi's actions. "Thank you Tomomi. As for you.....yes I do believe it did, huh strange." He said as the sky darkened for a moment. "But that's beside the point, I may have asked her a question but you interrupted our chat. Now I don't want trouble but I would like an apology and one for the little one for saying shes rude. Also it is he, not it." He crossed his arms and sent a slight mana pulse into the ground to prepare a stone prison should he try anything rash. "Now if you please, apologize."

"THE SCOURGE ATTACK!" Yelled one of the guards.

"TO ARMS!" Yelled another.

Calum glanced past Grov and pulled his gun from it's holster, "If you'll excuse me." He swiftly jumped over Grov, "Apologies, we'll have to get to know each other better later, okay?" He yelled back as he ran past the guards and jumping up, aiming his gun at the head of the closest undead, he shot the undead and the force of the shot seemed to create a smal crater in the ground. In one swift movement and seemingly without reloading, he shot another undead with a flame shot to the chest before moving on the next undead. His agility was something to behold, he readied a sniper shot as three undead seemed to line up and shot, the shot traveled through all three, killing them. He swiftly aimed behind him and shot a lightning shot at the final undead. He loved doing this, he was good at this, even if his jokes got people's bad sides, he had the urge to help them like Grov did. Only he did it in a way that made him seem like more of a bad guy then the good guy.

He holstered his pistol after the last of the scourge was defeated at the gates. He began to walk back to the two, "You should really learn to loosen up, Golem. I'm here to help, just like you. Only I do it in way that makes me seem like the bad guy. One must do what they do and choose their actions without looking back on the consequences or ever looking back." He said, rather sternly.

Tomomi
While not exactly sure if she was on board with a possible fight, Tomomi had declared her side and would stick with Grov to the end. The sky going dark didn't bother her at all, mostly because she didn't notice any change in lighting other than her eyes hurting a bit less. When she was about to join in in telling off the stranger, he jumped away to deal with a scourge attack. Tomomi tapped on Grov's ore shell to gain his attention and then, using a quiet voice so that the mean stranger wouldn't hear, told him the answer to his question earlier. "The answer is that I have some dwarf lineage, by the way. Mostly a cat-person though. I'd feel bad keeping you waiting."

When the mean man came back and said some things with a stern voice, her gray ears twitched in irritation. She didn't say anything though, feeling like it wouldn't get her or Grov anywhere despite the desperate need she felt to pounce on the man.

Grov nodded to the little ones answer and pondered the strangers answer. "I see so that's your answer. I'll think about it." He said as he looked at him. "But even so I'd be more careful what you say, or one day you'll say the wrong thing to the wrong person." He then turned to look a Tomomi. "So since your already up here why don't I take you tell me where you where going and I'll take you there. Think of it as a thank you for sticking up for me."

Calum Revus
"It is a ki-- a knight's duty to keep moving forward, never looking back." He stopped and looked up, "Ah shit." He then turned to face Tomomi and Grov, he bopped himself on the head, "Here I am being rude and not even have the common courtesy to introduce myself." He bowed gracefully, "Calum. Calum Revus, Gunslinger Extraordinaire and Head of the Council of Knights. You say you've been here a long time, surely you've heard of the Council of Knights." He looked up, raising an eyebrow.

Tomomi
Tomomi completely ignored Calum after saying "I just got here today." offhandedly, making clear her thoughts on him. Her attention back on Grov, she answered honestly. "I was going towards the commercial district, I thought I might be able to pay a merchant to tell me about the Altar of Spirit. Would you happen to know anything about that place, Grov? It would help me a lot if you did."

He looked at the gunslinger and said. "I meant that as in I've been alive a long time, about 400 years to be exact. As to your question I've heard of them but thats it." He shrugged as he looked at the so called knight. "You say your the head of the knights council? Must be an important job that takes a lot of responsibility and skill, so how in the world did you get the job I wonder." If he could smile he'd be beaming. Then the little ine asked about the alter of spirits and he turned to her in disbelief. "So you got that strange message as well, interesting."

Calum Revus
Calum glanced at Tomomi, "And I wasn't talking to you." He said with quick remark before looking back at the Grov, "You could say... I have current influences and powers." He turned around, hands behind his back, "I know where the Altar is... and I also know how to enter it. Oh, because that's a thing, the Altar is inaccessible by normal means.... but with an attitude like that, I don't know if I want to help you now..." He said in a said tone, his feelings were quite obviously hurt. He knew he wasn't wanted so he walked away, though he still carried himself pride despite being not only insulted but also ignored. How rude.

Connor Knightwalker
(Takes place last night)
Connor was sitting at a bar late at night, about to pour himself another glass of liquor when his eyes lost focus. The bartender, concerned, waved his hand in front of Connor's face which snapped Connor out of it. "Hey Charles... You called this stuff spirits?" He hesitated a moment before pouring himself the twelfth glass that night.

The bartender looked at Connor, who was clearly drunk out of his right mind, with astonishment. "That's what we called alcohol where I came from, it doesn't actually connect you with the spirits yeah?"

"Uhhuh..." With a bit of disbelief, Connor acknowledged Charles' statement. "This stuff's powerful... Doesn't pull any punches." He downed the newly poured glass in one go, dropping on the counter immediately afterwards. "I need a few bottles of this... Gives good ideas. I should totes go on an adventure round the world." Snoring followed shortly after, and Charles sighed at his odd friend.

Tomomi
"Ummm... Did that just happen? Was that a thing that just happened?" Tomomi felt the need to confirm through Grov that they really just met the key to the first Titan in the form of detestable incarnate, desperately hoping that by some twist she had heard wrong. Apologizing to Calum to get the answers they need after everything that just happened was... "He's lying, right? He's gotta be lying. There's no way he'd know that so conveniently." If he was telling the truth, though... The first step to purging the scourge and saving lots of lives was walking away in front of them.

Sana Guineth - Majabong - Infirmary

Weeks. It had been weeks without any further word from the spirit. Perhaps they too had been taken by the scourge? The hope they gave seemed to be all Sana had now, so it would not surprise her. The girl let out a short sigh as she rested on the steps of the outdoor bench, looking up in thought. Majabong was a beautiful city, that was for sure, and not too great of a distance from her now desolate home, yet it too was declining daily. "The greatest mages of Rhylon hadn't the slightest idea how to combat the Scourge. What does the spirit expect me to do?" She thought to herself, looking toward the ground pitifully, arms over her knees. Even after what she had done she was no closer to a solution, and the idea of chasing it only brought the image of the fate so many shared. Finally she began to get up, this was no time to mull after all, there seemed to be an endless supply who needed help, giving her never ending possibilities to disappoint them.

Suddenly a sign, a feeling of a presence, only a split second before the voice entered her mind. "Ah!" Sana yelped slightly at the sudden shock, falling onto her backside toward the bench, attempting to compose herself, slightly ashamed of how easily startled she was, yet still shaking. Questions still arose as to why, but it was clear now that she had been given this goal, and if it had even the slightest possibility of stopping this Scourge, she could not refuse it. So she got up, moving through the market toward... The Altar of Spirit? What on earth was that?

It did not take long for it to happen again, an attack, a small force perhaps, but more than enough to further spread the disease. Sana could only stand in shock, watching the dead enter, their disheveled faces only bringing their possible pasts to the girl's mind. It did not take long for them to be dispatched, a familiar figure wielding a pistol making short work of the majority. Though someone she personally had never met, it was not uncommon to find the man in such a situation. He was the type Sana felt the spirit should be talking to, someone who was able to take action, even if he may be so willing to dispose of what used to be the living, not someone such as herself.

As the scene came to an end, Sana snapped back into reality, rushing toward the guards, robes flowing awkwardly as she did so. As she reached one of them who seemed to have taken some hits, her knees hit the ground creating a small dust cloud as she quickly attempted to inspect the man for any wounds. Thankfully it seemed like nothing that would require the use of her magic, though a sling could assist with his arm. After she had taken it from her satchel and applied it, sharing a few words with the guards, she rose once more.

Gazing back over toward the gunslinger, a strange sight caused Sana's eyes to pop open in surprise. Was that... a golem? Here? She continued to watch on in disbelief, only the most adept users of magic could create such a creature, did this mean there was a possibility of one of her kin being here? Little did she know, this being was far different than the creatures she had heard of in her youth.

Calum Revus
Calum stopped, and smirked facing away from the two so they couldn't. He pivoted himself around with a straight face and waved dismissively, "No, no, I know not the true location. The Altar is hidden by the Titan himself." He turned around yet again with these final words, "False hope. False hearts and false eyes. These see not the true potential, they only spark false spirit in one's heart." He looked to his right and saw a robed woman healing some of the guards, he smiled and turned to go and introduce himself.

As he approached the girl, he looked over her shoulder, not saying a single word.

He looked at the man and said "For whatever it is worth I am sorry I insulted you, I was simply trying to get even after you not only compared me to undead but also ignored me." Grov was kind hearted but he still had his pride. He looked over to see the robed woman staring at him in shock, but this wasn't the first time someone was unused to his kind. He looked at the ruined gate and walked over and clapped his massive hands together and started to gather mana as he pointed at the gate "Gate of the Ancients." A massive stone gate covered in glyphs tgat glowed a bright blue replaced the current broken one. "It should last for a few days until, once it runs out just get a mage to pour mana into it."
