With Amita's help, Mei got back to her feet and bended the dirt she accumulated off of her, "Who and who?" She watched as it headed towards town, "Aw man I can't let it destroy that place! The rest of my loot is stored in the room I rented there...." She looked at Amita, "Listen, I'll keep it busy. Trust me I can handle it. You get your friends" she bounded off towards it before Amita could interject, "I'll try and lead it away!" She called back to her

Amita heard a voice from far below, and saw Rav and Milus down beneath her, nearby where she had last seen them. "No!" she called, shaking her head in case they couldn't hear her. "Go back! Don't come closer!" She knew it was in vain, and so she started to head down to them. She hoped Ila had heeded her words and had gone back to Kala.
"What in the world is that thing?" Mei called from below, and Amita's eyes widened as the earthbender sent a pillar of pure earth towards it. "No!" Amita cried, shaking her head again. She would have waved her arms in protest, if she wasn't required to hold onto her glider. "Mei, stop! Don't make it mad!"

The creature faced Mei, and it made a furious noise, before counter-attacking the earth pillar with the swipe of its arm, sending a ripple of earth towards the unsuspecting girl. "Mei, look out!" Amita called, though she knew it was pointless. She swooped down and tried to knock the girl out of the way.

"Healing water..." Kesuk repeated, a bit dazed. "Well healing water or not, I don't think it's friendly!" A huge wave of water erupted from the thing's hand, and it crashed into the ship, sending the boy rolling backwards. He got up shakily, trying to steady himself. The ship was still rocking. "Yep, definitely not friendly!"

The creature roared and dove underwater, seemingly vanishing. "Is it gone...?" Kesuk asked warily, though he was pretty sure he knew the answer already. As if on cue, the creature reared its particularly large head, and roared again. "Nevermind!" Kesuk cried, eyes wide. It flipped backwards into the water again, and the boy froze.

It swam away about a mile, then shot into the air inside a funnel of water. "Hey, that's my move!" Kesuk shouted, pointing an accusing finger at the water creature. The thing propelled a shot of liquid at the ship, and Kesuk ran to the egde. "Jump!" he called, grabbing Shila's hand. "I know what to do!"
"You'd better!" Shila called back, although she did jump, after waterbending the stream away from the ship.

Min Ra yelled at them: "Oh, you are not having an adventure without me!"

The rest of the crew had gone below, as some of them had gotten seasick from all the rocking. Also, unknown to Min Ra, they were preparing the secret underwater life vessels. This was a ship with its secrets, and Min Ra didn't know even the start of them. The life vessels were not even the biggest strange thing, although they were how the even more important things would get out of the ship in an emergency.

This bit of conspiracy totally passed Min Ra by, and she ran to the tiller and pulled the ship into a tack. It swung around towards the monster, and Min Ra used her firebending to indirectly give it enough wind to sail towards the thing. It was a crazy move, one not considered by her father because with the distances involved, it could be only used to get closer to the thing trying to destroy them.

Min Ra, however, was just a little bit reckless. And somewhat creative.

"Who and who?" Mei asked, getting up and watching the creature move towards the town. "Oh, sorry," Amita blushed, "I forgot you haven't met them! They're my friends. And they're only two of them!" Mei didn't seem to be paying attention. "Aw, man! I can't let it destroy that place! The rest of my loot is stored in the room I rented there...."

Amita stared in shock. Was she seriously doing what she thought she was doing? "Listen, I'll keep it busy. Trust me-- I can handle it. You get your friends." Yeah, she was. Mei hurried away before the airbender could respond, calling, "I'll try and lead it away!" "Mei, it's not worth it!" Amita cried shrilly, stamping her foot on the ground for emphasis.

She was torn. She didn't want to leave Mei, but she did have to go and make sure her other friends were okay. She hesitated alone for a while, before finally running after Mei. Ila had the others covered with warning them, and she was sure Milus had enough sense to get everyone to safety if need be. He was smart like that.

Kesuk released Shila's hand as he jumped, so he could have his hands free. He wasn't sure if this was going to work, but it was the only plan he had at the moment, so it'd have to do. He plunged beneath the cold liquid, then waterbended the water away from his head and face, as well as Shila's, giving them both a sort of air bubble.

He wasn't advanced enough to waterbend too much water at a time, so their bodies were left untouched. "Where's Min?" the boy gasped, his face dripping and his hair damply sticking to his forehead. He couldn't talk much; he was much too focused on maintaining the air bubbles, lest the pair drown. It was too dangerous to go above the surface yet-- not with that thing still out there.

He took deep breaths and tried to stay afloat, looking at Shila. "What is that thing?" he asked, looking back casually to see if he could spot it. He couldn't. "I've never--" He adjusted his hands. "--seen anything like it before!" That was when he saw the bottom of another ship no far off. "Look!" he said, pointing. "Let's head there; where's Min?" he repeated anxiously.

Sesi squinted her eyes to see if she could catch any movement from the other ship when she saw two people jump over the side and into the water. 'Oh dear Agni they are going to get themselves killed' she thought in a panic. "Arrluk, Ataneq I need your help" she yelled to two of the crew members, and the two strongest waterbenders on board. Thy ran over to her and quietly awaited instruction "I need you two to help me get those two out of the water and onto the ship," she instructed, as she threw out a line, and pointed to the two in the water.

Mei Yun had already bounded off, well out of earshot, when Amita had shouted something at her. She could only assume that Amita was either agreeing to go get her friends, or telling her to forget her loot. She hoped it was the former because Mei Yun was determined. There was no talking her down from this, her profits hung in the balance. Stopping behind the creature she tried for another pillar attack once more, this time having the pillars emerge one after the other to hit it from the sides, "Hey mud-pile!" She began to taunt it

Rav'n turned sharply as his name was called, breaking out of Milus's grip. "Ila? What are you doing here?" He asked, rushing to meet the girl. Milus cursed and chased him. The boy stopped as he got to the girl, fully understanding what she was saying. "Mal, we've got to help Amita and... " He turned back to Ila, a touch confused. "Who's Mei? Never mind." The boy shook his head.

His soldier friend, calmly taking stock of the situation, turned back to the two. "Rav, you go with Ila. Try to figure out how to stop this thing." Milus said with a commanding air. He'd gotten them through some tough situations before, maybe this time would be no different. Still, the man thought worriedly as his gaze held on the raging figure made of earth, I've never seen one of those before.

"I'll try to help any of the villagers get out." He finished, turning away from them and running, against his better judgement, towards the center of the town.

Rav'n watched as Milus disappeared down a narrow street, worry flooding through him. The airbender fought to calm himself and looked back at Ila. "Where are Amita and Mei now?" He questioned, a calm demeanor temporarily winning out over his usual reckless self. If Ila wasn't there, the boy was more likely to be following Milus straight towards the monster.

Min Ra was, as usual, in trouble. She could see where they were, and she was following them. The creature, of course, objected to whatever it was she was doing, so she was also fighting it off, by means of dodging its water bursts, using her firebending to stabilize the ship on the waves, getting closer somewhat in the direction of Shila and Kesuk.

Shila bent the water away from their faces and lent her own strength to the air bubble. She looked back to the ship, got Kesuk's attention, and pointed towards where Min was. Words failed the situation.

K or rather, Lu Qui, watched, this wasn't a time for her to get involved. She shouldn't blow her because of this because if the target knew then he might run. "What's going on?" She said as she walked around blindly.

"By La whoever is on that ship is suicidal," Sesi commented as she watched the other ship head towards the creature thin. She quickly diverted her attention back to the matter at hand, which was getting the two out of the water. "Quickly men pull them in," she yelled over the sound of the crashing waves.

[Well, you have Min Ra down pat.]

(@Alldahluvlybad1s well I summed it up a couple pages back, but since then the town of Saki has been attacked by a giant earth humanoid. We've met a couple new people (Ila, Mei, and K [Who is currently calling herself Lu Qui]), and that's about it on the earth kingdom front. It seems Kesuk, Sheila, and Min Ra are are dealing with a giant water... thing (I kinda picture it like the water monster Aang becomes at the North Pole), and Sesi has just been introduced as well. She's trying to save the other three and get them out of the water. From what I can tell, anyways. Sorry it isn't a convo, but this way everyone that's lost can get their bearings!)

"They're in the town!" Ila explained, pointing. "'Mita went to go check it out and then Mei (she's a girl we met by the way, along with this blind girl too named Lu,) followed her! So now they're both in there, and now Milus is too! Where's everybody else?" She heard another loud noise from back at the village. "Oh my gosh!" she cried.

Ila tugged on Rav's arm. "We have to help them! But we also have to find the others! But we also-also have to watch Kala!" Meanwhile, Amita raced after Mei, trying not to interact with the earth creature. Maybe if they didn't do it any harm, it would leave them alone. Mei tried to go for another pillar attack, and this time it hit the thing, though it didn't seem to do any damage to it at all. Rather, it seemed to absorb the earth and it grew a fraction instead.

"Mei, stop!" Amita called, both in a stop-running way, and in a stop-trying-to-fight-that-weird-earth-creature-thing-you're-only-making-it-worse way. The earth creature turned to face the benders, and roared before sliding through the earth towards them, as a person might wide through water. "Look out!" the airbender called.

Kesuk looked to where Shila was pointing. She was still on the ship?! When he said to jump, he had directed it at the both of them! "We can't leave until she comes too!" he said, connecting the two air bubbles so their speech wasn't so muffled. "Is there any way we can get her down here?" He looked back up at the ship, and fidgeted in anticpaion.

The boy noticed she ship was heading... towards the water creature?! "What is she doing?!" he gasped. "We have to stop her; it's not safe!" He looked around, hoping he could find something to help, but of course there was nothing, seeing as they were suspended just below the surface of the ocean. Kesuk looked at Shila. "I'm going to try to shoot myself out of the water and back onto the boat to get Min."

He pointed at the neighboring ship. "You head for that; we'll catch up." He hoped she wouldn't protest, but from what he knew of her, he wouldn't be surprised if she did. After all, Min was her friend, not his, and she would more than likely want to be the one to help her, as opposed to running away to a supposed 'safe haven'. "Try and warn them to turn around," he added, hoping that would help his case.

Mei was dumb founded for a moment, seeing that her attacks caused it to grow. If Amita didn't snap her out of her stupor by telling her to watch out, Mei would have been ran over by the oncoming creature. "NOPE! NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE!!!!" she said as she began to earth surf away from it. She did say she was going to lead it away, but she didn't expect it to actually go after them, "IT GREW! DID YOU SEE THAT? IT FRIKKEN GREW!!" she shouted at Amita as she surfed

Shila glared at him. "What kind of bad friend do you think I am?"

She then proceeded to form the ice surfboard, surfed herself and Kesuk onto the deck, and immediately began yelling at Min Ra.

"Min Ra, you idiot, what do you think you're doing?"

"I'm not allowing you to go on an adventure without me! This thing is fast! If we don't fight it, running isn't going to work, unless you can conjure up enough wind, you non-airbender! We have to go at it the hard way, unless you want to endanger that other ship, too!"

Shila wasn't quite sure she agreed, but she also wasn't sure she disagreed. Anyways, they needed to do something with the monster. She waterbended a wave that was going to swamp the boat over the mast and down on the other side, and thought about what the best move to beat the glowy-water-thingy would be.

Rav'n was overwhelmed by everything that Ila verbally threw at him. "Woah, slow down." He said, imitating how Milus would normally handle things. He thought for a moment. "Kala should be okay, she's a sky bison. They're pretty smart. Let's go get-" He stopped, taking a step back from Ila. "Well, I'll go get Amita and Mei, maybe you should watch Kala? Wait, are you a bender?" The boy realized that time was ticking away from them, but he didn't want Ila to get hurt or to slow him down. A strange thought, considering he knew next to nothing about the girl. "I just don't want anyone to get hurt." He spoke quickly as time was of the essence, and the boy wanted to clarify. Even in this chaos, he didn't want to hurt Ila's feelings by just discounting her.

Milus passed shops and other stout buildings, weaving his way into the town proper. More and more of the buildings had damage to them, some even to the point of collapsing entirely. His eyes ceaselessly scanned the rubble and the adjacent buildings, looking for any sign of life. No one yet, he told himself, not sure if it was a good thing or a bad thing. The earth creature loomed roughly in the center of the town, terrorizing unseen people. Is it bigger than before? Milus pushed the thought from his head as he heard a distant scream to his right, instantly changing direction to find the source.

A couple blocks down the man found a collapsed roof, dust still settling around the area. "Hello?" He called out, straining to hear anything. Even with the earth creature causing havoc nearby, everything seemed eerily quiet to him. "Is anyone here?" He tried again, (relative) silence returning as his only answer.

At the moment, K was sorely tempted to remove her blindfold and help them, but she had a job to do and that came first. She just followed them and tried not to trip over things and opted to stay at the sidelines and watch. No use revealing herself.

Sesi breathed deeply as she watched the two in the water. She looked over to one of the bending brothers "Bend me an ice raft, I'm going to help them" she asked. The closes one to her did as she asked and then she jumped down onto the raft. She nodded to the brothers and they started propelling her little raft towards the other ship.

[Kesuk gets to help too, you know.]

"Nope! Nope! Nope! Nope! Nope!" Mei cried, using her earthbending to surf away. Amita's eyes widened as she heard Milus' voice not far off. "Hello?" he called, but whatever else he said was drowned out by Mei's screaming. "It grew! Did you see that?! It frickin' grew!" Amita would have rolled her eyes under different cicumstances.

She whirled back to where she had heard Milus' voice. "Milus?!" she called, hoping he would hear. "Are you there? We need your help!" Meanwhile, Ila frowned. "Of course I'm a bender; I'm an earthbender to be precise, silly." She nodded, "Okay. Kala's fine; should we go find the others, or go help 'Mita and Milus?"

Amita couldn't move. She had to wait for Milus and tell him to either get out of here or ask him for help, but she also had to help Mei, no matter what that stubborn girl said. She hesitated in the rubble for a moment, before calling again."Milus! Milus, if you can hear me, I'm over here! It's Amita! Milus!"

///

Kesuk sighed. He had expected as much. Of course Shila wanted to help. What he didn't expect was Shila surfing them up back onto the boat. "Min Ra, you idiot, what do you think you're doing?" the girl shouted to her friend, to which they got the reply, "I'm not allowing you to go on an adventure without me!"

Kesuk rolled his eyes. Was this really the time? "This thing is fast!" Min continued, "If we don't fight it, running isn't going to work, unless you can conjure up enough wind, you non-airbender!" Kesuk frowned at her again. "We have to go at it the hard way, unless you want to endanger that other ship, too!" Min finished, and Shila seemed hesitant.

Before Kesuk could respond, the creature leapt up into the air, screeching, and then punged below the surface of the water, sending a spray of salty ocean water their way. Next moment everything was calm. "Is it... gone?" the boy asked hesitantly, peering over the edge. This time he was a little less confident. "Hey!" he called, waving his arms. "There's an ice raft coming over from the other ship!"

Sesi looked up as the waters calmed. The thing was gone, or so she hoped. The brothers on her ship gave her raft one last push of water to get her to the other ship. She climbed up and over the railing and faced the three, one Fire Nation, and the other two Water Tribe, southern most likely as she did not know them, people on board. "Hello, I am Sesi of the Northern Water Tribe, and with all due respect you three are crazier than a flying lemur on cactus juice" she said with a smile of relief that no one was injured.
((Oh just putting it out there Sesi means snow in Inuit.))

Rav'n smiled faintly when Ila indicated that she was, indeed, a bender. "That makes things easier." The young airbender glanced back towards the woods. Their firebending friends would definitely be a big help... He shook his head after a moment. "No time. C'mon, let's go find Amita and Mei."

Without waiting for a response Rav'n grabbed Ila's hand and pulled her along, headed towards the monster. That's where they would be, right? He looked back at her after a moment. "Where are they anyways?" He grinned sheepishly and probably seemed a little crazy given the circumstances.

Milus turned on his heel, listening. Could've sworn someone just called me, he thought, looking back the way that he'd come from. After a few seconds Amita's voice rang out to his right. "Amita?" The man called out, running towards the sound. Coming around a building with surprisingly little damage, Milus saw the young airbender. "Amita! Is everything okay?" The man looked up at the earth monster. "Aside from the obvious." He muttered under his breath.

"Hello?" She said as she walked out of her hiding place...and right in front of the spirit. "I everything okay now?" She asked as she moved, it was very difficult to see through the blindfold. She bumped into the spirit and hands went to it as she felt around. "Who put this pile of rubble here?"
