"Well," Ila started, eager to strike up a conversation with this new girl, but Amita covered her mouth with her hand, a very unusual thing for her to do. The airbender wasn't sure if this 'Mei Yun' was bad news, and she wanted to wait for an adult to get here before they started talking. Ila seemed to want to talk, and it struck Amita she didn't know anything about the body... or anything else, for that matter.

Ila wrenched herself free from her friend's grasp. "Well," she repeated, "I was just taking a quick stroll through the woods after a long, hard day's work, when I ran into this silly and her friends." At 'this silly', the earthbender gestured to Amita, and at 'her friends', the latter cringed mentally. She didn't want to bring them into this! Not yet, at least.

"What brings you here?" Ila rattled on, not even out of breath. "Are you a merchant? Like, a traveling one. 'Cause I've never seen you around here before, at least in the town. Well, come to think of it, I haven't been around these parts for very long either. Do you live here? Where's your house? Can we see it? Will you let us visit?"

Mei Yun looked to Amita hoping she would interject, but when she did try, Ila's will overpowered her. When she began asking about where she lived and what she was she rubbed the back of her head. Her village and past were something of a taboo, never to be brought up casually, and yet this child was boldly asking what others never did without loosing a tooth. "Yeah.. I suppose I could be considered a traveling merchant." That much was true, she was raised in a village that traded strange and misplaced things. She also knew how to haggle, barter, and con customers. Furthermore she most certainly did make a killing arm wrestling. So maybe she was a merchant after all, "Wait I moment. Where did YOU come from? You ask a lot of questions about me. And there are more of you," narrowing her eyes at Ila she then asked, "You're not a bounty hunter, you said...right?"

"That's really cool!" Ila bounced up and down on her toes, intently listening to the girl's response. "Me?" She froze. "Well," she looked down at the ground. "I don't really know where I came from, but I live in the earth kingdom, mostly. Everywhere else is kind of hard to get to." She laughed to herself. "I move around a lot, I guess you could say!"

Amita shook her head. "No," she said, feeling a bit bad for Mei. Why she was worried about bounty hunters brought up a few questions the airbender would have liked answered, but she figured she could hold it off until the time was right. "We aren't bounty hunters. And in case you wanted to know, I'm from the Eastern Air Temple.

"I was passing through here to meet..."
she paused, unsure if she should reveal anything too personal yet. "...one of my old friends." Ila turned. "Really? Who?" Amita facepalmed mentally. "Oh, no one. She just lives in Ba Sing Se." Ila nodded and turned back to Mei, grinning. The young girl didn't seem fazed by the minor hostility and wariness in the air at all.

(Sorry if its not Color coordinated this time. I'm still getting used to using taptalk)

She felt for Ila in that moment. Whereas Mei chose to not be apart of a family, Ila had no family. She clicked her tongue trying to keep her sympathetic side at bay. "Really?" Mei asked Anita, "What's it like there? I've been trying to get up enough influence to actually see these places," when she said influence, she jiggled her bag of loot. Now that she thought about it, she probably came off as a common thief to them. But she herself wasnt completely sure she could truly trust them. "I know a few people in Ba Sing Se. Who's this friend of yours?"

((Lol it's fine))

Amita figured talking about her home wasn't a bad idea. It would stall until the others got here, and it would keep these two earthbenders entertained, at least for the moment. "Mhmm hmm," she nodded, "It's very serene and peaceful... well, except for when we younger kids play games. The monks take care of the place and teach us airbending."

"Oh, her name is... um, Bai."
Last names weren't that important, right? Besides, she didn't like how she had a bag of seemingly coins around her belt, but Amita forced herself to erase the thought. How dare she judge this girl, only after a few minutes of meeting her? She felt bad, but there was really nothing she could do about it.

"Bai?" Ila asked, obviously curious. "Is she an earthbender too? Three for the win!" As she said this, she pumped her fist in the air. "No, actually," Amita admitted. "She can't bend at all. She just lives in the earth kingdom. Sorry, Ila." Ila waved it off. "It's cool. Two for the win!" Amita smiled. Ila might be random, but she was really nice and Amita was growing fond of her.

Mei Yun listened with great interest, dropping her stance completely. Her tutors would always talk about the other kingdom's from their own perspective. Hearing about and air temple from the perspective of an air nomad made Mei feel pretty accomplished. She almost talked about her own village, but caught herself as Ila made her comment. Smiling, she spoke"Well I am heading that way as well. Don't want to brag but, I do know Ba Sing Se like the back of my hand. If you guys need a guide-" she paused, first she accuses them of being bounty hunters, and now she's offering her services? Mei Yun shook her head, "Nevermind. So as an air nomad, do you have a bison?"

K was currently wearing a green blind fold and Earth Kingdom clothing. She had a job to do, she had someone to kill. She waved around a wooden cane as she traveled to Ba Sing Se. She continued on with her blind person persona. She then bumped into someone. "Oh, sorry." She said.

"Well, I am heading that way as well. Don't want to brag, but I do know Ba Sing Se like the back of my hand. If you guys need a guide..." Amita brightened bit. It was really up to the others, but Amita was starting to like Mei, and wouldn't mind having her around too. "Nevermind." the earthbender said, shaking her head. "So as an air nomad, do you have a bison?"

Amita froze. She hadn't anticipated this question, and she remembered Milus' words about anyone and everyone wanting their fur because of their rarity, and that was why it was dangerous to land too close to the village. But she couldn't say no. She nodded. "Her name is Kala," she added, hoping Mei wouldn't ask where she was.

Unfortunately for Amita, it was Ila's job to ruin her plans. "Yeah! We were just with her! We were sitting there when we saw you, and, you know, I just had to come and greet you because I'd never seen you before!" Amita almost stamped on Ila's foot, and would have, if the latter hadn't started back towards the animal, beckoning. "Come on!"

Mei sensed a wariness about Amita when she mentioned the bison, out of consideration for that wariness, Mei opened her mouth to turn Ilu down, "No it's alri-" someone bumped into her causing her to jump almost like a cat, "W-what're you blind?" She excclaimed, holding her chest. She didn't anticipate being bumped into and when it did happen, Mei Yun nearly jumped out of her skin, "Why don't you watch where-" she noticed the girl who bumped her was wearing a blindfold, "Oh. You are blind..." She felt like a donkey then

(Many apologies if this post is shoddy, I'm sleepy)

K gave a gentle smile. "It's alright, most people will get mad if I bumped into them." She said. It was very difficult to see through her blindfold. "I'm sorry for bothering you but I think I'm lost...I've been travelling for days trying to get to Ba Sing Se." @The Meticulous Liar @xXxKateKaysxXx

Ila bounced up to the stranger, immediately forgetting her plan of going to see Kala, much to Amita's relief. "Hi there!" the earthbender waved. "I know you can't see me, but my name's Ila! This is my friend, Amita, and the one you bumped into is Mei!" "Hello," Amita nodded respectfully, which was pretty much pointless, but it was out of habit.

"What's your name?" Ila asked excitedly, followed by, "You're lost? Don't worry, we can help!" Amita smirked at her friend. She was always eager to help out strangers. "Ba Sing Se? Hey, that's where you're going!" Ila piped up, nudging her friend in the arm a bit. "Or, where you were going. You might be a little bit off schedule now..."

Amita looked at the blind woman. "It's still quite a ways to Ba Sing Se," she pointed out. "If you want, I could always lend you a ride." Ila fist-pumped the air. "Yes! Road trip!" Amita rolled her eyes. Ila tended to assume things. She'd never said she could come, Ila just assumed she was invited."The more, the merrier!"

(( I'm going to bed now; see ya tomorrow! ;D ))

'So much commotion in such little time...' She thought to herself, 'How did it even come to this' Mei Yun sighed and ran her fingers through her unruly locks, Ila already introduced them all so saying her own name would have been redundant, "You gotta pardon the kid," she spoke to K about Ila, "I just met them myself, she's full of energy" she then sat down on the ground to check her shoes, "So you've walked all this way? What village did you come from? Ah-" she stopped before she turned into Ila, bombarding strangers with questions that they probably didn't want to answer, "Say, we're all heading to Ba Sing Se," she turned to Amita, "Do you have room for more travelers?"

"Ah, I come from a village very far from here, I'm here to deliver something to someone." She said as she blindly ruffled around her satchel before drawing something wrapped in cloth and putting it back. "My name is Lu, Lu Qui." She said.

(She's in disguise, so I'm introducing her as another.)

"Full of energy?" Ila asked, smirking. "Well, of course! It's who I am, after all!" When the blind girl introduced herself, Ila grinned and began waving her hand around. "Hiya, Lu! I'm waving to you right now, in case you were wondering. I know you can't tell because, y'know, you're blind." Amita looked at Mei, smiling.

"Sure, I guess. We might have to check with the others, though. I'm not sure how they'll reac--" Before the girl could finish, a great explosion erupted from close by, and it shook the earth mightily, sending her to the ground. Ila only remained intact due to her earthbending, but only for a few seconds, before joining Amita in the dirt.

"What was that?!" Ila shouted, the ground still rumbling. Amita scrambled to her feet as well as she could and snapped open her glider. "I don't know. I'm going to go find out; Ila, watch Kala!" With that, the airbender shot into the air and grabbed onto her handholds before steadying herself and heading towards the source. Meanwhile, Ila shouted up at the sky, "But I wanna help too!"

///

(( Ah, the actual plot begins! Exciting! =D ))

Mei shook her head and then place her hand on Lu Qui's shoulder "Nice to meet yo-" she was cut off as the ground shook violently. Quickly shifting her feet so that the earth wrapped about her lower legs, she held tight to Lu Qui, also to keep her from falling down as well. "What the heck?" She followed after Amita using her bending, "Stay here! She called back to Ila" as she appeared to skate on waves of earth

(Kinda like how Toff did when she escaped that metal cage)

"Sure!" Kesuk brightened, almost jumping up. He recoiled immediately, grinning sheepishly. "Well, um... that is, if.. if you guys-- er, girls, want to." He rubbed the back of his head and looked down at his boots and the deck of the craft. He glanced back up. "It sounds good to me, anyway... " He looked at Shila. "I mean, anywhere's fine with me."

Min Ra smiled energetically. "Yeah, it's one of the centers of spirituality in our culture. It's really important. It's a great stop for people wanting to learn about the fire nation. It's also really beautiful."

Kesuk grinned at Min, "Really?" He turned to look at Shila. "Are you okay with that?" he asked, "I don't want to force you into going somewhere after I basically invited myself to come along." He blushed and rubbed the back of his head, ruffling up his hair. "If we all want to, I see no reason we can't go right now!"

The boy glanced around before noticing something off in the distance. It looked like a weird, glowing, animal-type thing, and it was heading their way, albeit slowly. "What is that?" the waterbender asked, squinting off into the distance. It looked about the size of a human, but he knew it just wasn't... human.

It looked like it was made of water itself, but yet it seemed to emanate an odd fluorescent light. It moved its arm, (Kesuk could tell, even from this far away,) and a wave of water engulfed the area around it, before crashing down nearby, rocking the ship a little. "What is that?" Kesuk repeated, but this time he was a lot more worried.

Ila frowned. "Not fair!" she pouted, crossing her arms. "Why does Mei get to go? I wanna go!" She suddenly had an idea. "Be right back," she told the blind girl, before earthbending herself back the way she had come. "Hey, you guys!" she shouted, cupping her hands around her mouth. "We've got a little problem!" (( @Syfyre @Kiotaro @Alldahluvlybad1s @gogojojo331 ))

Meanwhile, Amita peered down at the town from high above. She saw a peculiar creature, and she squinted at it, trying to make out what exactly it was. It looked like a large person... and seemed to be made entirely of earth. It whipped its arm up, sending a spray of rocks up into the air. Amita gasped and swerved away, but unfortunately she wasn't fast enough, and one hit her glider.

She was caught off balance, and started an out-of-control flurry into the city. "No, no, no, no, no!" Amita panicked, trying desperately to regain control again. She pulled up, just barely swooping by the thing's 'head', and the girl noted that it seemed to be almost glowing. She sighed shakily, and started to turn around for another fly-by.

Milus was on his feet immediately after the explosion went off, looking in the direction it came from. Wasn't that the way to the town? He glanced back where he came from and was startled to see a woman with a blindfold. He considered her for a second before shaking his head and running towards the town.

Rav'n felt the ground shaking as he sat, the unusual event distracting him from his thoughts. "What was that?" He exclaimed rhetorically, bending himself into a standing position and looking in the direction of the explosion. He glanced back at Raiko. "Want to check it out?" The young airbender asked. He smirked and took off through the woods, eager for the distraction and curious as to its source. "C'mon!" He called behind him.

Rav'n made good time through the woods. As he pushed through the trees, using his bending to speed himself up, he saw -too late- Milus running ahead of him. "Watch out!" the boy called uselessly before barreling into his friend and knocking both to the ground.

"Oww... What- Rav! Why'd you-" Milus began as he realized what happened.

"Sorry! I was running to the explosion and I thought getting there quickly would be good and I wasn't watching where I was going and-"

"Rav. Don't worry about it. Let's go." Milus said, standing up and dragging the boy to his feet by his collar.

The two ran into the town just as a spray of rocks erupted from a... "Uh, Mal? What is that?" Rav'n asked, looking at the figure made of earth.

"A problem." The man replied, taking a step back. He noticed Amita flying on her glider above the earth monster. "Rav." He said, pointing.

"Hey, Amita! Down here!" Rav'n yelled, waving his arms wildly to get her attention. The action didn't last long as Milus put his hand over the boy's mouth. "Do you want that thing to see us?" He hissed at the young airbender.

Shila was about to (lightly) slap Kesuk for being so... overly polite (Shila, herself, was not overly polite. Or even moderately polite. Perhaps just barely acceptably polite), when she noticed the Something. She fell still.

"I don't know" she said, "But it glows like healing-water."

Min Ra just looked out there worriedly.

Her parents, being quite sensible, according to the situation, set a course for anywhere else, but there wasn't much wind (and this doesn't take place in the machine era of the Fire Nation), so the ship didn't go very fast.

(A golem? Angry earth spirit?)

Mei Yun kept her pace with the flying Amita. As one of the rocks it threw, hit Anita's glider, Mei Yun got a visual of what it was. From the ground, the creature was bigger than a house and glowing. "What in the world is that thing?" She bended rocks at it to get it's attention. "Hey!" She stamped her foot to the ground, sending a large pillar of earth, jutting out at it. As long as she kept it's attention to the ground, she hoped that Amita would come up with a plan because Mei surely didn't.

Amita heard a voice from far below, and saw Rav and Milus down beneath her, nearby where she had last seen them. "No!" she called, shaking her head in case they couldn't hear her. "Go back! Don't come closer!" She knew it was in vain, and so she started to head down to them. She hoped Ila had heeded her words and had gone back to Kala.

"What in the world is that thing?" Mei called from below, and Amita's eyes widened as the earthbender sent a pillar of pure earth towards it. "No!" Amita cried, shaking her head again. She would have waved her arms in protest, if she wasn't required to hold onto her glider. "Mei, stop! Don't make it mad!"

The creature faced Mei, and it made a furious noise, before counter-attacking the earth pillar with the swipe of its arm, sending a ripple of earth towards the unsuspecting girl. "Mei, look out!" Amita called, though she knew it was pointless. She swooped down and tried to knock the girl out of the way.

///

"Healing water..." Kesuk repeated, a bit dazed. "Well healing water or not, I don't think it's friendly!" A huge wave of water erupted from the thing's hand, and it crashed into the ship, sending the boy rolling backwards. He got up shakily, trying to steady himself. The ship was still rocking. "Yep, definitely not friendly!"

The creature roared and dove underwater, seemingly vanishing. "Is it gone...?" Kesuk asked warily, though he was pretty sure he knew the answer already. As if on cue, the creature reared its particularly large head, and roared again. "Nevermind!" Kesuk cried, eyes wide. It flipped backwards into the water again, and the boy froze.

It swam away about a mile, then shot into the air inside a funnel of water. "Hey, that's my move!" Kesuk shouted, pointing an accusing finger at the water creature. The thing propelled a shot of liquid at the ship, and Kesuk ran to the egde. "Jump!" he called, grabbing Shila's hand. "I know what to do!"

Sesi sighed as she sat in her chamber of her "Uncle's" ship. Why had she agreed to leave the Northern Water Tribe and travel with him. "Why am I here?" she asked herself. As she stood up to go up onto deck she felt the ship jolt to the side. "What in the name of La was that?" she screamed before taking off at a run to the upper decks.

The ripple of earth came cascading at her, she braced herself for impact but was knocked out of the way by Amita. The earth ripple ripped pass them both and destroyed everything behind her. "Thanks! What the heck is that thing?" She shouted. Whatever this thing was, it had more than enough power to probably crack if not break the walls of Ba Sing Se. She was more than glad Amita saved her

As soon as Sesi's feet touched the upper deck she made her way to the railing to see what could have caused the ship to pitch as there was no storm brewing. What she saw however gave her cause to pause. There was another ship not to far off from where her uncles was and it seemed as though it was being attacked by, well she wasn't really sure what but it glowed like her younger sister, Nukka's healing water. "Capetian drop a line now." she screamed. "Oh please let whoever is on that ship be alright" she whispered to the spirits.

((I'm posting in blue until her firebending nature is reviled to others. if that's okay))

Amita slammed into Mei, sending them both out of the way of the attack. She rolled a little ways away, but hurried to get back up again, using her bending for assistance. "Thanks!" the earthbender shouted, taking in the damage behind where she had once stood. "What the heck is that thing?" Amita shook her head and shrugged.

"You're welcome; but I don't know! And I don't know what to do, either!" Her eyes widened. The creature seemed to have forgotten the pair, and turned back towards the town. Luckily, it seemed like most of the residents had evacuated, so that wasn't anything to worry about. "Where are the others?" Amita asked. She looked back towards the gate of the town.

"I saw Rav and Milus before I had to save you." She grabbed Mei's arm. "We have to find them; maybe they'll know what to do!" Meanwhile, Ila charged towards the others. "Rav'n! Milus!" she called, waving her arms worriedly. "Are you guys okay?! You have to help us! Amita and Mei are in the city with that thing!"
