Raiko looked at Amita and said, "We'll I use these with my bending so I'm even more powerful. And they look cool. Oh and sorry about burning the body. And for stealing. Again." He looked down and was slightly ashamed tht they got caught. He looked at Kazu with a face that said, sorry about that.
(it posted it twice for some reason...)

(Hey everyone, I'll try to be on again soon, but school is going to make things complicated... But, don't forget to vote so we can move the story forward! (Unless you're on Tapatalk the poll should be at the top of the page.) I'll try to be on tonight, but no guarantees. Sorry!)

Frankly, with the way votes are going, a tie is the most likely outcome. A four-way tie (or more).

Kazu has a vote.

(( @Alldahluvlybad1s Kazu's been voted for; look! =D Also you and @Syfyre Yea, I'm starting school tomorrow... it may make things a bit more complicated... =P As for those who haven't been voted for, don't worry! If you're not the Avatar, you can always be one of their mentors/teachers/trainers/whatever-they're-called! =D))

"...Interesting!" Amita replied cheerfully, looking at Agito's claws. He didn't seem to be a very traditional airbender, either, and her heart sank a bit. While it was always great to meet other airbenders, even if they were different and interesting, she couldn't help but feel a bit lonely. There was no one here she could relate to, and she was the only girl, to top it all off.

"So... what now?" she proceeded to ask, looking around. She was eager to get back to Kala. After all, Milus had said so himself: sky bisons were rare, and who knows what someone would do to get one. She'd been alone for a while, and the girl was getting worried. She simply couldn't lose Kala. Kala was her best friend.

She turned to Agito. "Where were you?" she asked, hoping to strike up a bit of conversation. She hadn't gotten that much of a chance to talk to the firebender, aside from hearing his stories, and she didn't want him to feel alienated like she was. She fiddled with her staff, which she had recovered luckily, and tapped it on the ground absentmindedly.

///

Kesuk nodded as the firebender girl spoke. It was actually very interesting, and he wanted to hear more. She mentioned that firebending was not really a 'move', rather, it was a form. This peaked his interest further, and he compared it to waterbending. To a non-bender, it seemed they were the same, aside from the element, but in reality they were actually quite dissimilar.

He was shaken from his thoughts as Min began her performance. It was rather mystifying, as she moved about gracefully and majestically, the flames seemingly copying her in their own firey dance. He couldn't take his eyes off of her, and he felt the warm heat radiating onto his cheeks as bursts of flame shot from the older girl's palms.

When she finished, Kesuk couldn't help but clap. A huge grin was plastered across his face, and he looked at Shila, who had been silent throughout the dance. "That was amazing!" he complimented Min, walking up to her. He then joked, "I wish I was born a firebender instead!" and laughed to himself. He just wasn't too sure it was a joke.

Ila skipped through the town of Saki, grinning to herself and whistling a tune. Her hands were held behind her back, and her hair flew in front of her face, occasionally prompting her to blow or brush it away. The bag tied to her belt jingled as she made her way towards the outskirts, full of the money she had just earned.

Finally, she made it out to the forest, and took off her shoes, breathing a sigh of relief as she felt the cool grass (and the soft earth) between her toes. "Sure is good to get out of the town for a change," she chuckled to herself, before carrying on, holding her shoes in one hand. She would normally wear them, but she was tired and they needed a rest.

Suddenly, she saw a group of people ahead, between the trees. She gasped, a large grin growing on her face. "Hi!" she called, charging towards, arms waving in the air. She skidded to a stop in front of them, using her earthbending to slow her approach so she didn't bowl anyone over. "Hi!" she said, not in the least out of breath, "I'm Ila!" She loved meeting new people.

"Hey, Wait Amita" Kazu questioned,"If your an Air bender.... do you have one of those Sky-thingys" kazu said, he'd always wanted to see one, but his dream was only so big (really tired guys :) ...) He was also not paying attention to the girl.... but now he was. Lew sighed at his brother.... 1 he was oddly tried Like his creator (4th wall hahahaha) 2 he was kinda feeling sick... did he get a concussion from the back of the sword to the head?

Raiko jumped and pulled out his claws when a girl came out of no where. He finally relaxed and said, "Hi. I'm Raiko. What are you doing here?" He put his claws away and decided to sit down. He thought to himself, "Great another person. Yippee..." He sighed.

Amita nodded eagerly, grinning as the boy mentioned her mount. "Sky bison," she corrected. "And of course! Do you want to meet her?" She saw this as an opportunity to get back to her friend, and wasn't about to pass it up. "Her name is Kala; I'm sure she'll like you!" She beckoned for him to come closer, excited to get going.

She was a bit startled when a girl ran up, shouting. "I'm Ila!" she shouted, and Amita relaxed, smiling as she held out her hand. "I'm Amita; nice to meet you, Ila!" Finally, another girl to talk to!
Ila shook her hand enthusiastically, grinning the whole time. "Amita's a cool name!" she said, then examined her clothes. "You're an airbender, huh? That's great! I've never met a real live airbender before!"

"Really?" Amita asked, enthralled in her new friend. "Well, here I am! Rav over there is an airbender, and so is... Raiko?" She gestured to each as she said their names, and hesitated on the latter's, unsure if she had got it right.
"Seriously?!" Ila bounced, before charging up to Raiko, who replied with a, "Hi. I'm Raiko. What are you doing here?"

"I just came from Saki village," she explained, pointing her thumb back the way she had come. "I felt like stretching my legs and relaxing my toes a bit." She held up her shoes, which she was still holding, using them as proof. "The real question is, 'what are
you doing here'? I've never seen any of you around before." She looked at the others. "Who're you guys?"

Min Ra bowed theatrically. "Thank you, thank you very much."

She smiled and said "I love my bending. When you're firebending, it's like you're on the top of the world. You're big and blazingly powerful. You can actually do stuff. It's the best feeling in the world. I can see why you'd want to experience it."

Shila did not seem impressed. "I know you haven't met Kesuk before, but you talk about your bending a lot with me, and it gets kind of boring after a while."

Min Ra smirked. "Admit it. You liked the form too."

Shila's poker face cracked a bit under Min's playful gaze. She admitted: "Okay, yes, the form was cool. But the speech was not!"

Min slung her arm around Shila's shoulders: "And yet you're friends with me anyways. I can stop if it's really that annoying to you. But seriously, now I have someone new to hit with my act, and I do not want to give up that chance."

She looked sly. "Plus, I tolerate your thing with finding out everything about sea life, don't I?"

Shila looked somewhere between embarrassed and angry. "Th-that's different! Anyways, what about the whole "explore-the-world" thing?"

Min Ra smirked again and said: "Don't worry. I haven't forgotten that. We're already under way, did you notice?"

Shila noticed, and she privately a was bit embarrassed with herself for not noticing earlier. "Okay. Friends?"

She stuck out her hand, and Min Ra shook it.

"Friends." Min affirmed.

[They have a weird friendship. Also, with a comment like that, Kesuk really needs to be the avatar.]

Fine by me.

Both Rav'n and Milus looked at the new girl as she approached. "Hey Ila, I'm Rav'n." The boy said, waving with a grin. "We're just meeting people all over the place!" Questions were still racing through his head, especially about the body, but he didn't want to think about it. It all felt made him uneasy and a little sick to consider.

Milus looked at the girl in alarm, not hearing her approach. Another? How many are we going to meet anyway? His thoughts went unanswered and the man decided that it was a good idea to check on Kala, and the body... "I'm headed to find Kala and check out our... friend." The man said, avoiding using the word 'body' in front of the newcomer. On top of everything else, they didn't need a villager thinking they'd killed someone. Milus moved close to Rav'n, whispering, "Keep an eye on our bag this time." With that he turned around, trying to survey exactly where he'd come through the trees from the clearing, finally deciding on a path. "Want me to try to coax Kala here?" He called over his shoulder to Amita as he trudged along, brushing past bushes and ducking under a low limb.

As Milus continued down the path, the unmistakable smell of burning flesh assaulted his nose, indicating that he was going in the right direction. The edge of the clearing was just visible from where he was, as was the charred body. Milus breathed a sigh of relief as he noticed that, aside from some blackened ground and burnt grass, the fire hadn't spread.

The man put his shirt over his nose, a futile effort to block the smell, and trudged to the corpse. As he got closer the smell and sight all combined to twist Mal's stomach.

( @xXxKateKaysxXx Is Kala still in the clearing?)

@ActionPony Pfft I didn't intend that to happen... =P But thanks =D And @Kiotaro Seriously?! Cool! Happy Birthday! =D *throws confetti*

Kesuk grinned the whole time as Shila and Min conversed. He was still hyped up from the performance, and rather enjoyed the firebender's 'speech', much to Shila's dismay. He glanced around, anxious to get going. He was all about adventure and was extremely curious about anything new to him, so needless to say he was very excited.

"Are we leaving now?" he asked Min, absentmindedly cracking his knuckles, as he often did when he felt the way he did. "I can't wait; this is gonna be so much fun!" He knew he sounded childish, but at the moment, he honestly didn't care. He still felt a little bad for tagging along on Shila's adventure, but he tried not to dwell on it.

He breathed in deeply, smelling the salty aroma of the sea, and he smiled. He loved the smell, and he knew he was only half-joking when he said he wished he had been born a firebender. He loved the water, and everything to do with it, especially bending, While other types of bending were quite fascinating, he would never give it up for waterbending.

"Hi," Ila beamed at Rav'n, waving exuberantly. "Nice to meet ya!" She raised an eyebrow. "Really? I thought you were all together; you just met these guys?" "I'm headed to find Kala and check out our... friend." Milus said, and Amita perked up, ignoring the man's discreet way of mentioning the body. "Kala?" she asked, stepping close to Milus. She turned back to her friends. "Hey, Kazu, do you want to meet her?"

Ila turned to the airbender girl, a bit confused. "Who's Kala?" she asked. Amita grinned sheepishly, rubbing the back of her head. "My sky bison," she explained, and the earthbender's eyes widened. "Sky bison?!" she gasped excitedly, grabbing her hand and practically dragging her through the trees, "I wanna see! I wanna see!"

"Want me to try to coax Kala here?" Milus called, but the girls were already dashing past him. "I think we'll be okay!" Amita laughed. "Eww!" Ila cried suddenly, screeching to a stop and holding her nose. "What is that smell?" Amita hesitated, but said nothing, instead following suit and covering her nose from the stench of charred flesh and burnt hair.

A loud, happy moan emanated from just ahead, and Amita almost squealed with happiness. "Kala!" the girl cried, leaping up into the air (enhanced by her bending), and landing on the bison's head in a hug. The bison licked the girl as much as she could, excited as a new puppy. "You're okay!" Amita continued, nuzzling the beast joyfully. "You're still here!"

Ila raced up to beast, as equally excited as the airbender was. "Kala!" she said, arms outstretched. "You're... a lot bigger than I expected..." Amita giggled. "Thanks...?" she smirked, before sliding down. "We shouldn't have run off like that, though. The others will be worried." Ila waved away the thought. "Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll remember next time." "Next time...?" Amita trailed, a little unsure as to what that was supposed to mean.
