Era blinked, looking to Yao. "Our family is there..." She said quietly. They need to help some way she just didn't know how they can do it. Aquita looks to them before looking to Jaio. "It'll take time to get where I want to go. I can help."

"I kinda know that Era...Crap..." He muttered frustratingly." Damn is nowhere safe for your bloody people!" He said angrily as he looked at Jiao.


"I am sorry..." Is the only thing Jiao could think to say.


"Yeah "sorry" i kinda think that might not cut it anymore." He said before looking at Era."We have to do something to help, warn the captital... Something..."

"Yao, we'll help. Don't blame him." Era said, trying to calm down. She squeezed his hand. "We can do it.."

"Ok..."Yao said simply. "The plan is the same, we are going to Bi sing Se, if we can find a way to help the city along the way we will."


"Agreed. I must say its been a while since i travailed with company, should quite the advanture." Jiao said." Shall we start then?"


"We shall." He said before looking back at era."Could you... Could you stick close to me to eh talk?"

Era nodded, "Yeah, Jaio you can use my bird. I'll ride with Yao on Birdy." She said looking to Yao to ask if that was okay. They could talk that way.

"Eh, yeah i dont mind the riding arrangement though the talk will have to wait. "He said before holding here hand tighter as if trying to say what he wanted through their hands."Rather...talk about it face to face."

Era blushed, he really was going to talk to her about his feelings. She smiled and nodded, "Well, we should start going. We have a lot of ground to cover."

"Ok..." Yao said finally getting the will to let go of Era's hand and walk to Birdie. He climbed on and offered his hand again to help Era do the same. Birdie was not to happy about the prospect of extra weigh and began moving and squawking. Yao gently touched Birdies neck." Easy pal... It only era, she wont way you down any."


Jiao studies the two earth kids curiously before walking towards his new mount close to Aquita. "The two of them.."He asked suggestively to Aquita.

Era got on Birdie. She pet his side, "I'm sorry Birdie." When Birdie stopped he walked again. Era smiled softly, "He's taller than mine."


Aquita looked up, "They have been friends for a while. Both are oblivious to liking each other." She said getting on the ox.

"I dont think they are as oblivious at they seem.... "Jaio said before getting on the animal. He hadn't ridden anything in a while so at first was uncertain of his balance and control of the animal. "Well... I dont mean to gossip, i just getting a handle of the dynamics here. Thanks you....If i may ask you are south water tribe right? "


"Is he? I didnt notice the difference." He said feeling a little embarrassed having her so close next to him."You better hold on to me."

Aquita nodded, "Yes, I am on my way up North." She said clicking her tongue to make the ox go. "What branch of novels are you from?"


Era put her arms around his waist, blushing some.

"The Feng family... Standard military family you find now days in the fire nation. "He explained as he rode along with Aquita."My grandfather raised as to prominance at the start of the war as a successful general."

Aquita nodded, "I was raised by the chief," she admitted. She looked over at him, wondering what the scar looked like.

"Oh, so your royalty, lady Aquita, my respects." He said look at her and bowing his head, he then turned back to were he was going. She noticed her looking at him."What is my mask hiding, you wonder?"

"Well, I'm not royalty. He watched me when no one would." She commented before looking to him. "Well, I don't know why someone would hide who they are.." The again she didn't have a scar.

"Your appearance and manner certainly is deserving of the lady title."He complemented her before looking down and sighed." Its a long story. Lets i say, i scare less children with the mask."

Aquita smiled lightly, "Thank you." When he brought up he scares people she frowned. She forgets people can judge. "I'm sorry dear."

"It is not necessary, my lady." He said kindly." Curiosity and a negative reaction to what is different and unnatural is itself natural. You never know you might get lucky, or unlucky, and get a peek during our travels."

Aquita shook her head lightly, "I don't think my reaction will be negative. I may be shocked but I won't treat you differently."


Era sighed, "Yao, have you calmed down yet? I can feel your heart beat still going fast."

"We shall see in time, though i am inclined to believe you." Jiao said looking over to her with a hint of smile behind the mask." You are a good soul, my lady."


Yao turned a deeper red and sighed." I am calm... The heart is... Well... Its you..."

Aquita smiled, "Just call me Aquita." She glanced back to make sure the others weren't far behind as she turned where the path was leading.


Era blushed, glad he didn't see it. In attempt to cool them down she laid her head on his back. "Yao, do you like me more than what we are?"

Yao let out a deep breath before moving a hand from the reins reached back for her hand. "Yes... "He muttered simply and went silent for a moment. "Wished to be more then your best friend for a little while now..."

Era smiled, "I over heard the conversation this morning." She cuddled into his back. "I like you too."

"Huh... You knew? Huh, all the worrying for nervousness for nothing. Would be nice if you told me so." He said with slight annoyance though that faded quickly at the admission. He smiled taking her hand that she had around him." I am happy you feel that way."

"I wanted to see how long you were going to wait. I'm sorry." Era smiled, she didn't mean to tease him. She felt better telling him so.
