Aquita gave a small frown. "I heard that their are spirit waters all over the world that can heal the most impossible."

"I heard of that but in my current position there out of reach at the moment. I barely allowed in earth nation towns." Jiao said thoughtfully." Eh, i dont know. Its part of me now and i reminder of what i am doing... Maybe i i will get it healed after the war."


"Guys we should be reaching the town soon." Jao announced as he checked the map while riding.

Aquita tapped his hand, she understood that. She looked to Yao when he read the map. "How far?"


Era looked back and smiled, "Less than a mile."

"This is were i separate for a little bit."Jiao said jumping of the back of the ox to behind the ox." I will catch up just need to change to less fire nation looking clothing., I will meet you there."

Era pulled on Yao's bag and threw clothes at Jiao. "It may be a little big on you but this way you don't have to steal." Aquita nodded, "Want me to stay here and wait?"

"Sorry about the smell though... That is my dirty clothing hamper." Yao said with slight embarrassment.


Jiao picked up the clothing and looked between yao and the clothes. His expression couldn't be seen but his momentary hesitation and dislike was evident."... Thank you guys and its ok... I rather not have you suffer Yao clothing."

Era chuckled, "I promise I thought they where clean." She felt bad now.


Aquita got off the ox and took the clothes, "I can wash these. There is a creek right over there."

"Its fine, era. I am just amazed that you can deal with Yao smell.." Jiao said jokingly earning him a "hey" from Jao. "I am just joking my friend..." He added before noting Aquita taking the clothing." If you wish... I can deal with it myself. I am not a spoiled brat, well not anymore, have gotten myself dirty."

Aquita chuckled, "You wouldn't want to stink." She started heading towards the river. Once to the rivver she soaped up the clothes before washing them. She pulled the water out of the clothes aftwr words.

"Well... Though i joke, i am not exactly overly clean myself." He said chuckling back though he didnt feel overly comfortable having her around just waiting for him to change. However part of him was glad for the company she brought. He noted the new clothing didnt have a hood meaning he would have to so off more then he would like but he figured he would have to at some point. He sat in meditative stance as he waited for the clothes to be cleaned, deciding to he might as well lower his hood from now exposing the back and top of his head. His head was bold, pink and leathery with blisters dotted about, some parts that suffered the worse burns were still healing looking yellow-white with brown center.

She walked over to him to hand him the clothes. She noted his head with a small frown. "I got ointment to heal what can be healed."


Once to the town Era tied up her bird. "What supplies do we need?" She asked, yawning.

"I have my ointment i apply every night, doesn't do much beyond some soothing sensation. However i am willing to try anything now." He accepted the clothes which showed a remarkable improvement from the last time he held them in both smell and feel. "Thanks Aquita been a great help." He turned away finding a tree to hide behind as removed his ropes to get dressed in the new clothes. Compared to to head and shoulders, the rest if his body was clear with some minor scars of past battles. Once dressed he stepped out and looked at himself in the lake. "Not bad, red is definitely more my color though... And the mask is not just the same without the hood."


"A few sundries, i guess love. A few food stuff mostly and maybe some information of the caves."Yao said stepping out of Birdie and looking at their coin purst."Not much left."

Aquita smiled, walking with him to her ox, "Its made from a spring in the Southern Water tribe." She pulled out a small ointment box. "You want me to apply it or do you wish to do it yourself."


Era sighed, "We'll have to find a way to get some more money." She sighed, pushing her hair back before catching a glimps of a Earth Bender soldier that was staring over at them and looked familiar. "Do we know that guy?"

"I can manage on my own unless there is something special to do with it. " Jaio said accepting the box before sighing."Even then... You have be kind to me and pleasant company, i know you said otherwise but i am still self conscious about face... Though i wish to do something that requires me to be maskless if i am ever going to do so. "


"I few odd jobs might be necessary, maybe there is some save the village thing that might earn us some favours. Save some hostages or something, might check the mayors house..."He said before seeing the earth bender soldier as well." He looks like our personal shadow from the traitor case. Not really a good shadow."

Aquita rose a brow, "I can understand but what do you mean by you wish to do something maskless? I am not sure if I really understand." Of course she would let him apply it himself.


Era sighed, "Than lets just get our supplies and go." She leaned against Yao, she didn't like people blaming her for it. Or blaming Yao.

"I will explain in time, lets just i do like you.. A lot if it is too bold to say." He said glad for once for the mask."I... I think we must go, the others are property waiting for us."


When Era leaned on him, he place his arm around her and kissed the top of her head." Dont worry about it, they have nothing on us. We dont cause trouble and they wont. " He said confidently before he walked with her to the market. Prices seemed high in the market as it seemed supplies were limited due to as talk seemed to indicate due to a blockage to of the river trade looks. Any one the send seemed to not come back and they didnt have any earth benders for the blockage."What do you think of that?"

He may have a mask, Aquita didn'. She blushed deeply, "No, not too bold at all. I too like you." She felt herself blush worse, "We should go."


Era was thankful to have him, she smiled and walked with Yao. She sighed, "It sounds like a death sentence to me." She admitted, pushing her hair back.

"Happy to hear that." Jiao said walking up to the ox and waited for Aquita to get on, extending his hand to help her. With both of the of their confessions there was a slight awkwardness to riding together as well a slight anticipation.


"With three benders of each elements and a equally awesome non bender on the case, how bad could it be?' Yao replied, his sense of adventure taking over. "Once the others arrive why don't we have a look. See to some heroics and get better prices."

Aquita blushed as they still made ir way to the village. She tied the ox by the birds. "They shouldn't be far."


Era chuckled, "Maybe." She kissed his cheek. "I like how hopeful you are no matter what."

"They should be by the markets or the tavern."Jiao said pointing the places out to Aquita, before making there way to the market. Soon they saw Jao and Era." Hey."


"Beats the alternative and having you by me helps with that alot."Yao said before noting the other two. He could help but smirk at Jiao appearance. "You look good in my clothing though you lost major intimidation factor."


Jiao just rolled his eyes.

Aquita chuckled, "He is right, your less intimidating now. Even so I didn't find you all that scary." She blushed again.


Era caught the blush and chuckled. "Adorable. Anyways, Mr. Save-A-Lot overheard a blockage up front that we could help with."

Jaia just huff and shook his head, if he noticed the blush he didnt show it. " Intimidating was never my intention though i did find it useful in the past. Still when you can conjure flame out of nothing and the skills to avoid being seen to sneak up on someone. That is all i need... Not sure why i had the need to defend myself... Eh.. Anyways, what sort of blockage we are talking about?"


"There is a river nearby the town get its supplies, someone or thing has damned it up." Jao explained chuckling at both Aquita and Jiao. " Anyone we went to fic it disappeared."
