"I can not wait. We should... "He went to say before seeing the other two climb out the tent. He didnt know whether to be irritated or embarrassed by the comment, either way he was glad for the mask." Good morning."

Era rolled her eyes, "You'll get use to him." She commented before looking to Yao. "Don't call them that. You want to be called Benderless?"


Aquita chuckled, "Good morning. I hope you two actually slept." She teased back. "Most couples don't even sleep together until they are married."

"I am just pointing out the coincidence of their elements. "Yao said before looking back innocently a Aquita." We slept fine."


"I am sure." Jiao commented suggestively. "Our gossip aside and i apologize in advance for this change of mood but we need to start moving to the capital. You have route set out?"

Era turned to him, "Yes, we do. You stay tense than things will not get done the way you want them to. They will be choppy." She moved to the sleeping bags to pack them up.


Aquita shook her head, "We have two cities to pass before we get to the caves." She commented, packing her own things up.

"I see." Jiao said to Era not really understand what she said but got enough context to get the answer to his quest and understood better with Aquita explanation. He stood up and tried to help everyone with thier things while Yao sorted the mounts for them. "You means the lovers caves?"


"Yeah." Yao replied simply.


"You guys do realize rumors say that not only the caves are impossible and it has its resident monsters?"

"You mean moles? My grandfather told me about it. He says love shows the way but I am sure Earthbending works just as well." Era commented. "It will make our trip shorter by six days."


Aquita made a face, "Moles? Weren't they the first Earthbenders? You better make sure you put the tunnels we make back the way they where."

"Banger moles are the least of our problem true. Did your grandfather tell you about wolfbats?"Jiao added." Horrid territorial creatures bigger then the name might suggest."


"Yikes..." Yao muttered but shook his head." I doubt we have much choice any other path and will take months to take into the city."


Jiao made a noise akin to frowning."There is too much conjecture here, we are going to use the caves we need to see what we can find out from the cities along the way."

Era sighed, "We can try, we have to." She said packing the things on the animals. She sighed.


Aquita nodded, she agreed. "Sadly." She pushed her hair back, "We can do it."

"Lets get going then. Unless anyone object same traveling arrangement as before?"He asked looking over looking over to jiao and era.


"It dont mind writing back of someone if era wants her own mount." Jiao replied.

Era shrugged, "I don't mind. You would have to ride with Aquita or me if I do. You and Yao are about the same size." She said with a shrug. It didn't matter to her.


Aquita looked up, petting her ox. "You can ride with me. I will let you have the reins if you want."

"All due respect, you dont want me behind the reins. All three of us will be tumbling of a cliff in no time." Jiao said with a chuckle. "I doubt my arms around Era would go down well." He said looking at Yao and winking at him before looking at Aquita." I will take you up on the ride offer."


Yao smirked." I doubt the problem is me, i think it is the preference of who the arms are around."

Era chuckled, "No offense but I'd kick you off the bird." She shrugged, "I have a no touching rule."


Aquita rolled her eyes, "Yeah, we can tell." She chuckled. "I'm sure this ox can fit two." She pet the ox.

"Dully noted, didnt expect anything less." Jiao said to Era shaking his head before walking to Aguita and began to pet the ox himself. "You right with me on you, my friend?"


"Well that settles that."He said climbing on birdie and stroked in plumage." Up for a another trip birdie?" He asked and the bird quaked in confirmation." Great, come one people lets get this show on the road."

Aquita got on him and scooted forward to sit Jiao. "Everyone can keep taking turns. It'll work out better that way." She as Era pulled herself up and nodded in agreemen.

"Sounds good, especially in long journeys." Jiao said nodding as he tried to find a way to hold on that didnt involve placing his arms around of Aquita not wanting to be disrespectful. He finally held on to an exposed bit of the oxes settled and hoped it was enough. "Yao is right lets get moving."

Era clucked her tongue to follow Yao, sense he had the map. She smiled, looking at him, "You tease people too much." She joked, talking about when he teased Jiao and Aquita. The Fire and Water part was a bit ironic, "Opposites attract," She said lightly tapping his shoulder. "We're not exactly the same."


Aquita made her ox go, looking back to make sure he wasn't going to fall. "Make sure not to pull on his fur. He gets sensitive." She wouldn't mind if he put his hands on her, just didn't know if he wanted others to see it that way.

"I mean nothing malicious." He said with sly smile slowing Birdie down for Era to catch up with him. "I heard them taking last night, i senses a connection.. Just trying to make it known to them..Subtly as i can." He winked at her knowing how unsettle he was.


"Dont worry, last thing i want is to upset the big guy." Jiao said though as the ox began to move, he found his position not as stable as he thought. He nearly lost his balance forcing him to rap his arm around Aquita to hold on." My apologizes".

Era rolled her eyes, "Things will work the way its meant to." She smiled, reaching to kiss his cheek. "We should know."


Aquita blushed because it was sudden, "No, your fine." She said with a small smile."

"Uh-huh sure, we were attracted each other for over a year and we picked the opportune moment of a world saving quest to get together.... i am not complaining but i do wish we got together earlier."He explained before sighing." Have a quite time for just us to boyfriend/girlfriend."

Era smiles softly, "I know, but, doesn't mean we won't." She sighs, "Your right.. Its hard, I know, but Mr. Hopeful at least we're doing something meaningful."

"I hope so love." He said leaning over and returning the kiss on the cheek. He almost lost his balance about to fall if it wasn't for a quick save. "Wow.... Totally worth it."

Era started laughing, smiling wide. "One of the many reasons I love you."


Aquita watched the couple feom behind and smiled, "The fact people will find love during this is a good thing."

"They are cute... I was like that once. "Jiao said before sighing into his mask." Earth kingdom citizens can be especially passionate when they want to... I find."

"I never been that way," Aquita admitted, "A year ago a friend of mine that I cared for much like that died before he knew the truth."

"You have my sympathies." Jiao said sounding sadder."My lady friend didn't die but the person i knew her as might as well have done."
