Fantasy Atlantis

"I don't know. It seems kind of mean to drag him back in and drown him though," Halia said, looking over at her older sister. Slowly she looked back at the human though, wondering if he would speak.

She shrugs. Sirena tilts her head as she looks at him. "Shame he doesn't have a tail." The human was quite cute, in the princess' eyes.

Kai rolls his eyes.

Julian looked at both of the mermaids talking, wondering what they meant by "found out" and "do with him," it sounded almost like he had discovered the secret mafia and now he was in trouble. It didn't surprise him to see that his mother hadn't been found as, he looked at both mermaids, rather shocked to even see them there as his coughing gradually stopped allowing him to breath properly. "What do you two mean by 'what should we do with him?' I..." Julian stopped as he honestly didn't want to thank her for saving him, considering that's not what he wanted, but it was too late now. So he put on a gentle smile, feeling his the cuts in his cheek. "Thank you though..." Julian thanked her, trying to stand up a second time, but fails yet another time due to the cut in his leg. Right now, even though he'd never admit it, he couldn't get away, so whatever they decided to do, he was at their mercy.

"We can't leave you in the middle of the ocean, can we?" She tells the human. "Oh! The island!" She grabs Julians arm and starts swimming, going pretty fast, but making sure his head stays above water. Soon enough, they make it to the island. Sirena brings him right up to the beach. There were lionfish in the reef around the island, and if he got stung, her efforts in bringing him there would have been for naught.

Julian looked around himself on the small island he had been dragged to, there was nothing here except sand and the two of them, as he had yet to see Kai, and sighed. Maybe he would die... it would just take a longer time now that he was alive. The other mermaid, the seemingly older one, suddenly grabs his arm and dragged him back into the water. She mentioned an island and almost impulsive she began swimming over there, as Julian couldn't even struggle against where she brought him, he didn't even get to object as Serina was too quick for him. "Where am I?" Julian asked her once they arrived, coughing some more as Sirena had dragged him along in an amazing speed, and some water had managed to slip down into his lungs again.

She shrugs. "You're the human. How should I know?" She watches him cough and sputter and looks a bit confused. She'd never seen a human up close before.

Wanting to know why her son was acting the way he was toward the one merwoman that would always love him, she gave up on crying and followed the teen. "What did I do wrong, Aurix? Why are you like this?" Her voice was stern, a complete 180 from earlier. "You are heir to the throne, yes, but, I am still your mother and I deserve respect!"

So she brought me to an island of 'God knows where' where at least back at the shipwreck someone might have found me... do I even want to know what's going on? At least she's not trying to kill me... but I don't know if that would be so bad either... mom... what should I do? Julian thought as he didn't notice the mermaid looking at him before he let out a small sigh, and blushed when he made eye contact with her as he had almost forgotten that he wasn't alone so he couldn't cry. "W- why are you staring at me...?" Julian asked almost embarrassed as he looked at the cuts on his leg, they were deep. If he didn't get them treated, then walking would turn into a real pain.

Aurix held in a sigh of annoyance. His mother was always so sentimental and... emotional. He turned around to face her. "Respect?" He said calmly. "I see no reason you deserve it." His state of calm was always eerie and cruel.

((By the way, i kinda made Aurix a psychopath without violent tendencies.... so he feels no sense of responsibility or need to pay for his actions. Sooo... yeah. xD ))

Sirena doesn't say anything. She sees him examine the cuts on his leg and decides she wants a closer look. The mermaid pulls herself out of the water, her fluke still touching the waves that lap at the sand. Having no concept of what was okay in the human world, she grabs his foot and pulls up, bringing the wound closer to her face. With her free hand, she probs at it gently with the tips of her fingers.

The quietness creates an almost awkward atmosphere around them as Julian looks at her. What ever was she doing, or thinking for that matter? He knew nothing of mermaids, as he didn't really think they existed up until now, as she came closer. Julian looked at her shells shimmer in the bright sunlight, as her tail and the girl itself was quite the beautiful sight. He blushed more as he realized what he was thinking and mentally slapped himself. He couldn't think that now! He had to get back, off this island at the very least and get some help. Just then the mermaid grabbed his leg this time, and as Julian feared that another trip of being dragged was on his way, she only pulled his leg up to her face, making him fall backwards, as she began probing it gently with her other hand. "T- That hurts! H-Hey, I- I'm not a toy you know...?" Julian stutters as it seemed as despite him being human, she was more brave and more curious than he was, as he wanted to get away from her. He flinched once her finger met the cuts, as they hurt more than he thought they would, but he was barely getting the feeling back in his numb and cold body. How little did they know about humans? And... what would he do if humans suddenly caught their attention?

((She has scales not shells. :P ))

Sirena looks at his face, seeing cuts there too. She didn't know if mermaid medicine would work on humans, but she supposed she could try. She slides back into the water, diving down to the reef and finding some sea sponge, a starfish, and some kelp. "Sorry," she whispers ro the starfish as she tears off two of its arms. The would grow back, but she still felt bad. Squuezing the arms onto the sponge, she rubs it in and comes back to the beach, sponfe and kelp in hand. She takes his leg once more and places the seasponge in his wound, wrapping the kelp and tying it to keep it in place. "There." She says, quite satisfied with her work.

Now Sirena directs her attention to his face. She leans very close to him and touches the cuts on his cheek. "Okay. Those are okay."

((Ah...sorry! My mistake! Too early for my brain to function properly xD ))

Once again his words were ignored and he began wondering if she could even understand what he was telling her, maybe they had another language? How did fishes talk to each other anyway? Julian began thinking of small speech bubbles and had to chuckle at his own silly thought as that was just plain childish of him. Sirena disappears back into the water as he looks a bit after her, wondering where she was going, but shook his head. "How am I suppose to get help here? I can't see anyone anywhere, well... humans... I wonder what they meant though... by 'he won't find out' and what happens if I do find out their little secret..." Julian thought as he leaned his head down on his knees as Serina came back.

Once again without warning she grabs his leg, he was thinking of protesting, but only sighed as he flinched yet another time when the sponge touched his wound, and watch her tying it around his leg. She was helping him... why? Why would she want to help him? Weren't he dangerous to them? Or her species at the very least. Julian opened his mouth to thank her looking away to avoid any sort of eye contact as she leans in and touches his cheek, her hand was ice cold and her skin fair. He blushed, his face turning red as he looked down in the sand, unsure of what to say before he looked up at her. "Thank you. You are very kind," Julian said smiling to her.

((Oh yeah! Sorry! I told you... too early... *skips some pages* I'll get my coffee waking up soon xD ))

Mizu giggles as she was right... maybe it was normal to bow to people. But as a greeting too? No. It was definitely better not to question it. Maybe that was how they did things in town as he lived on the outskirts of the town, usually he would miss most of their normal lives and gestures. "I am strange too, so we have something in common! I mean... look at me. The entire me is strange looking," Mizu said giggling as he made fun of himself and looked at her. "I live on the outskirts of town so I never know what's normal anyway," Mizu said as a quick giggle followed him.

(is it early in your time zone? O.o its late for me but im not tired so rp for me yay!)

She made a faint smile and looked at him once more, he was indeed strange looking especially if he really wasnt from the palace. But she just guessed it was because she wasnt used to such nice shiny things. She was always so content with what she found on the ocean floor. But that was odd, I mean she to lived on the outskirts and he was certainly not hard to miss, "Well...i live out there as well, maybe its just the way the ocean raised us" She laughed a bit at her own joke only to realize it wasnt that funny and blushed.

((Oh no. It's fine xD only awkward for Julian xD ))

Julian didn't know where to place his eyes as she was staring at him, no words were exchanged and it was now definitely awkward for him to look at her, as she didn't even remove her hand from his cheek. Did he have some sort of animal stuck there or something? "Um..." Julian started as his hand made its way to hers, gently putting it down in the sand as he turned his face to look away from her. "I'm Julian... Thanks again for... well.. everything,"Julian said and rubbed the back of his red hair, looking down at the sand with his ice blue eyes as he wasn't really sure what he should say or do, just to make this encounter less awkward for him.

She looks at him, finally sitting back. Pulling her hair over her shoulder, she runs her hands through it. "My name is Sirena." She wonders how he knew their language. Did all humans speak mer? Was it the same language? Sirena's brow furrows as she thinks over these things, her curiosity simply growning.

((Your characters are adorably shy. Julian reminds me a bit of Italy xD ))

((For me yes. It's 8:23 am and I can't fall asleep so... here we are xD lucky for you since I get active when I can't sleep xD ))

Despite her bad joke, Mizu laughed as he agreed. It was just the way the ocean raised them, and he always thought being a bit strange wasn't so bad as ordinary was getting quite boring. "You live there too? Strange I've never seen you... I'm not really good at paying attention around me anyway so..." Mizu said a bit embarrassed to her, as he bowed again laughing a bit. "Sorry if I've met you before and can't remember! But... your name... what is it?"Mizu asked her trying to remember if he had seen before, but couldn't recall ever seeing her.

(i lover germany and italys relationship its just...ah! and i also like america and greece :3)

She was glad he laughed a little, it made her less embarrassed. But she shook her head in response to his question and confusion, "No..we have not, im sure I would remember if i ever met you. Besides I blend in quite well out there in certain areas so it wouldnt surprise had you not. And well, my name is Freyja" She hadnt had a conversation like this in so long, not since Odenia died at least. She usually goes out of her way to avoid mer to mer conversations.
