Fantasy Atlantis

Suddenly, Sirena takes Kai's hand and swims fast in the other direction. She doesn't stop until they reach the outskirts of the city. The twins decide to keep going, wanting to visit the island nearby.

"I feel bad for leaving Vixena. Audix will surely do something to her." Kai says. He had thought the girl beautiful, in a simple sort of way.

Sirena shrugs. "Too late now. Besides - is that Halia?!" She cuts herself off when she sees a light blue tail in the distance, near the surface. She swims closer, fighting the current with ease, especially now that the storm was nearly over. As she nears her, she sees what apoears to be legs. Human legs. "Kai. She's with a human."

Not waiting for his response, she swims forward, tugging her sister away. "Go home! You've gotten in trouble for this before. Father will be furious!"

Mizu

Mizu looked at Freyja as his handshake wasn't accepted. Maybe she wasn't a fan of the handshakes... There were those who didn't shake hands, but who knew what they did to greet each other? Without another thought, Mizu bowed down to get eye contact with her and smiled, still trying to be polite to her as a smile was still planted on his face. "What's your name?" He asked as he saw Freyja was in a bowing pose. Oh! That's how they do it! Isn't a handshake easier? This seems more.... complicated... He bowed down too, his long blue pony tail grazing against her head, as the jewelery jingled once again, and he let out a small chuckle. They had to look so silly right now, but each mermaid was different, so why not have different greetings? "Why are we bowing anyway?" Mizu asked her curiously.

Julian Owens

Julian coughed as he gasped the air in, coughing more as he opened his eyes, he felt the wet sand in his hands and looked at it with his dazed ice blue eyes. Is this heaven? Is this what it's like? Julian thought as he looked up at the sky, blocking it with his hand as he let out a loud sigh. No. This was far from heaven... he was still alive. Why was he still alive?! Why?!

He sat up, struggling to keep himself in a stabile position aa he saw Halia. His eyes widened, as she was completely different from himself. She was covered in shells... she didn't have legs... what sid the pirates call it again? Mermaids was it? He opened his mouth to speak, but his throat refused as he only coughed more, as he tried his best to breathe, it was hard. Water still filled his lungs.

Once he stopped coughing he tried to stand up, but fell as his injured leg couldn't hold him up, he had already lost a lot of blood, but the bleeding had stopped due to the cold water. "Why did you save me?! Why didn't you save her?! A woman! Much older than me, she have long red hair! Please! Tell.me you've seen-" Julian stopped to cough his body couldn't take his shouting as he laid back down, breathing in some much needed air.

she didnt like when people tried to see her face, her eyes scared others and they never approved of how far away she lived from the city and the palace. His words were quite strange though, wasnt it normal to bow to others? whether it be an apology, greeting or saying goodbye? "w-well..my guardian always said it was the polite thing to do..so i guess it has become a habit of mine. i know it must be strange, im sorry" she felt his hair touch her forehead and she brought her fingertips up to her skin.

Aurix was jusy about to tell his siblings to take care when they ran off, leaving the commoner alone. "What were you doing with my brother and sister, dont you know they are royalty?" He said in a deep, threatening voice. Dispite his angry appearance, he thought she was rather pretty. And she might turn out to be interesting.

Vinexa looks down sheepishly. "Yes I know they're royalty." She says simply. She didn't want to say something to anger him even further so she kept her gaze down, fearing what he'd do if she looked him in the eye. "I'm sorry, my Prince. I'll be leaving now, then." She says, and turns around to swim away.

Nymphadora heard her husband's thunderous, booming voice from their quarters. She was late to get up, which was somewhat usual. She normally tried to get in a few hours outside of the castle by herself. Her children didn't need her much, for they were grown and exploring Atlantis as they pleased now. "Another beautiful day!" She laughed and swam out of the castle to bask in the open water. "I do wish my beloved Caspian would calm down. The children have done this before. They'll be fine." She sighed, watching common merchildren play from afar. "No harm will come to anyone. He and I make sure of that." She swam back inside to her husband. "Beloved Caspian, please, my dearest, calm yourself. Be at peace. Don't let this get to you." She cupped his face in her hands. "They're just like you when we were young, you know." Her angelic laugh emerged past her lips. "Don't you remember? You weren't always this extremely serious king. There's a fun side to you too." As the queen talked, she wrapped her tail around his, praying that this would somehow soothe her husband's troubled mind. "They'll be back home before you can blink, so, just calm the storm, please. You just might be frightening the humans." Her ruby red lips touched his, then, she released her king.

Aurix puts his hand out "no." He said loudly, but not cruely. "Whats your name commoner?" Aurix decided that she would be an entertaining distraction, even though his distractions wernt normaly middle class. She was interesting looking, and she had the nerve to speak to his sister.

Vinexa takes in a sharp breath before slowly turning around. "My name is Vinexa, Prince Aurix." She says quietly, praying that her voice wouldn't crack under pressure. The seaweed fell from her hair, making it fall from it's bun and float around her gracefully. "Oh." She says, and tries to get her hair to stay around her face.

'Vinexa' he thought, 'fitting' he swam past her saying, "the storm is clearing up." He turned around and gave her a look, "walk with me... vinexa." He swam on, down the market street. People began to emerge from theier homes and slowly it began to bustle with life and light.

Vinexa's face turns beet red as the prince asks her to have a stroll with him. She catches up to him quickly and swims beside him. She smiles sweetly at the beautiful kingdom around her. "So wonderful." She whispers to herself, and then looks towards the prince.

"It's not often that we royals get to talk to our subjects. Even royals who are next in line. Im brimming with questions." He says with a sly smile. He wanted to make her comfortable around him, becuase she obviously wasnt currently.

"Well... Ask away, my Prince." She says awkwardly, waiting for him to laugh at her and swim away. She was never good at talking to the opposite sex, it didn't help that the one she was talking to this time was the soon to be king of Atlantis. She bites her lip nervously, trying to get the sinking feeling out of her chest.

Aurix looked in her face as he swam, and he let out a little laugh. "Vinexa, are you frightened of me? Surely my reputation isnt that bad." Aurix knew about his reputation, but he thought it was probably becuase he was a little intimidating.

"Honestly, yes." She says, looking down in embarrassment and allowing her hair to cover her face. "You're a bit intimidating, Prince Aurix. If you don't mind my saying so." She says, still not looking at him.

Aurix laughed again. He enjoyed her fear, but he wouldn't say so. "Okay then thats my first question. What exactly do the commoners say about me? And don't spare me any cruelty." He smiled at her.

She was reluctant at first, but then she told him. "Well it goes around that you're a heartbreaker. You find a girl, and make her fall in love with you, then you just get bored. Also they say you're kind of rude sometimes, and you're not always a happy camper." She says, trying to make it sound amusing, but failing to do so.

Aurix laughed again. It was a deep, hearty laugh. The laugh of a king. He lifted his eyebrows and his shoulders. "Viscous lies." He assured her, he was lying. "And you? Got any questions?"

"What's it like? Being looked up to like you are? Practically being worshiped?" She asks right off the bat. That question has always haunted her, and she never had a chance to ask it until now, so she was going to use the time she had.

Aurix swept his hands through his hair. "I wouldnt say im worshiped but... being a royal is.... extremely boring. When im king i suppose things will become more interesting but so far, I'm not impressed with all Atlantis has to offer." He made it sound like he was only visiting, like he had a choice of where to live. And he knew that he would always stay here, but he didnt have to be exoted about it.

"Boring, huh?" She asks, biting down on her bottom lip a couple of times. "I know it sounds silly, but I've always dreamed of being a princess, my mother would put a tiara on my head and act like she was my chamber maid." She says, tears threatening to spill out of her eyes as she thinks of her mother.

"Well, take it from me, none of my sisters or my brother are happy being locked up in a castle." He looked at her and saw she was about to cry. ((Not quite sure how he would be able to see that but whatever.)) "Im sorry, i didn't mean to upset you..." he wondered what might make her happy. "I have an idea." He said with a sly smile.

She blinks back her tears and turns to him, giving him a toothy smile. "Okay, let's hear it." She says, embarrassed that he had seen her tears. She never cried in front of people, only in her home by herself. She didn't like showing all of her emotions, in fear of being hurt.

Aurix grabed her hand and began swimming quickly with his long tail. He was swiming to the castle. "How would you like to try on a real tiara?" He said, his grin growing longer. 'This will be fun.' He thought.

"Um, Aurix. I don't think your Father would approve. I'm just a commoner." She says, her eyes going wide. She had never been in the castle before, and she didn't want Aurix to get in trouble for bringing her into the castle, she wouldn't be able to forgive herself.

"Yeah but sneaking around is the funnest part. Dont worry about my father, he isn't as intense as he looks." Truth was, his father was terrifying. But aurix didn't really care about being caught. He had been caught doing things he shouldn't before, but he just really didnt care. Aurix had no sense of responsibly.
