Fantasy Atlantis

Vinexa didn't like the thought of defying the king of Atlantis, but she followed along anyway, not wanting to miss out on a chance to see the inside of the castle. The truth is Vinexa had an adventurous heart, that was always trying to find a new risk to take. "Alright then." She says sweetly, an excited smile showing up on her face.

Aurix and her reached the castle. The gate were guarded, so he swam up. He had to swim up high, where the water was warm. He swam above the gate. There was an open window. He put his finger to his lips at vinexa. Aurix peered through the window. No one was there, so he swam in. Turns out there was a maid sleeping in the room.

Vinexa glances nervously from the maid to Aurix silently asking what they were going to do. If the maid woke up she'd report to the king that there was a commoner in the castle, and only Poseidon knows what he'd do to her.

Aurix, as quietly as he could, swam through the room. As soon as he was in the hallway he closed her door and broke into laughter. "C'mon." He said, leading through the hallway to his sister sirena's room. Its large and luxurious. Aurix let go of her hand and closed the door.

She floats there, with her mouth hanging open as she looks around at the huge room. "wow." Is all she could say as she takes it all in. She had always imagined what a princess' room should look like, but it was never as amazing as this. Finally she closed her mouth and looked at Aurix. "This is amazing." She says, a bit of laughter coming out in the last syllable.

Aurix laughs again as he began looking through his sister's drawers. He finally found the box where she kept her tiara for special events. It was silver with blue jewels and pearls. ((Couldnt find a good photo, use your imagination)) he held up to her.

She looks at the tiara in amazement, then shakes her head. "I don't think your sister would like me touching here things." She says pushing a strand of her hair behind her ear.

Aurix shruged. "She wont know... don't be boring vinexa." He warned. He looked at her for a moment and gently placed the tiara on her head. He swam back and put his hands on his hips. She was stunning. He grabed a mirror and held it in front of her.

She brings a hand to her mouth in shock when she sees herself in the mirror. Her heartbeat sped up as she had flashbacks of her and her mother playing princess, then she touched the tiara that rested peacefully atop her head. "Oh." Is all she could get to come out.

Aurix laughed a little at her reaction. "She's beautiful isn't she?" He asked quietly. 'Too bad she isn't you' he thought but didn't say. No matter how pretty she was in a crown, she was still a commonor.

Vinexa takes the crown from her head and places it gently back in it's place. She then turns away from Aurix and looks out of the window which overlooked the entire kingdom. She gives off a sigh, then rakes her hair back with her fingers.

"That's what I'm afraid of," Caspian said, looking at his wife. He took her face in his hands and smiled. "You are just as beautiful to me now as you were back then," he said longingly. "I remember it ll like it was yesterday. But I can't help but worry about them, they are my children. It's my job as their father," he removed his hands from her face and stroked a lock of hair behind her ear.

Adella swam back towards the castle, having not found whom she was looking for. She knew she probably shouldn't have gone so far out but she'd let herself get distracted by her thoughts. As her tail flicked delicately through the water, she began to sing one of the human sea songs that she'd heard occasionally when humans would sail overhead. She'd never seen one before, but she loved their music.

"Upon one summer's morning, I carefully did stray, Down by the walls of wopping, Where I met a sailor gay.

Conversing with a young lass, Who seem'd to be in pain, Saying, William when you go, I fear you'll ne'er return again.

My heart is pierced by cupid, I disdain all glittering gold, There is nothing can console me, But my jolly sailor bold.

His hair hangs in ringlets, His eyes as black as coal, My happiness attend him, Where ever he may go.

From tower hill, To blackwall, I wonder weep and moan, All for my jolly sailor bold, Until he sailors home.

My heart is pierced by cupid, I disdain all glittering gold, There is nothing can console me, But my jolly sailor bold.

My father is a merchant, The truth I will now tell, And in great London city in, Opulance doth dwell.

His fortune doth exceed, 300,000 gold, He frowns upon his daughter, Who she loves a sailor bold."

Dora smiled at his touch, leaning into his hand. "They're strong, just like you." She reminded him. "Like I said, they'll be home very soon, and they'll be safe. You must trust them." She hated seeing him so upset. "Listen, it's my job as their mother and queen to love and watch over them as well, but, soon, you will step down as ruler and give the throne to Aurix, and then, you must let go." The young queen took Caspian's hand and brought it to her lips to place a loving and tender kiss on it. "I love you so much, m'lord." Her voice trailed off, as if she were in a daze. "They're actually somewhat like me as well. Remember how we met? My tail got caught in a fishing net and I thought I was going to die." Her voice was soft as her head rested on his chest. "Don't chastise Adella. She's trying." A part of her hated, yet loved the human world. "Let me soothe your troubled mind."

Aurix heards Adella's voice increase in volume and then fade as she sang through the halway. He swam up behind vinexa and quietly said "its time for you to go." Aurix pointed to a part of the wall where she could go unnoticed. "Swim through there and you wont get caught."

Nymphadora gave her husband one last tender kiss before heading out to find her children, having not seen them since she had awoken without her husband's arms around her. "Adella, dear?" She heard the young mermaid, but also sensed something wrong. This wasn't scary, for she didn't sense danger, but it was strange. She followed the voice and went right past her son and his friend.

Vinexa hurries towards part of the wall and swims follows a dark tunnel, only to find herself outside of the castle. She quickly swam towards the Middle Class, away from the castle. She had to admit that she was happy to be out of that place.

Aurix watched her go and then turned around and swam out of his sister's room. He noticed his mother headed down the halway afyer adella. "Mother." He called, swimming behind her, "Im finished with my tour of the city, where's father?" Aurix had been given the task of getting to know Atlantis top to bottom.

The queen brightened when she heard her son. It was always a treat for her to see him, in her eyes. She never really spent much time with any children after they had grown. "Ah, my boy, it's a beautiful day, is it not?" She embraced him. "You may want to try his throne room. He was worried about you, Aurix." Her lips pressed against his cheek as she let go. "I'm so glad that you're safe, at least."

Aurix clenched his jaw but remained civil. "Yeah." He said as he wrangled out of her arms. "Thanks." He said, swiming away. He swam to the throne room where his father was. "Im back from the city." He announced to the king.

His mother was left feeling saddened. Her son had just looked a little angry with her, or, that's what she gathered from the look on his face. "I'm sorry." She muttered as she swam away from him in the other direction.

(Sorry about my late replies. I have been pretty busy and this roleplay is just going so fast...)

Halia felt tugging on her tail and glanced down to see her older sister. "He won't know," She replied with a roll of her eyes. Then the human began yelling and coughing and she looked back over to him with a bored expression. "I didn't see anyone except you. Be thankful I felt nice enough to save your life," She said. She might have replied a little nicer, but she couldn't exactly with her sister and brother behind her. Not to mention she was getting reminder of trouble she had gotten in before.

"He found out last time." She says, surfacing. She looks at the human with narrow eyes. "What should we do with him?"

Kai swims just below them, watching for anyone who could possibly inform the king of the human interaction.
