((He is xD He isn't used to it, so he has no clue how to react xD to all this))
"N- Nice to meet you..." Julian answers her as he touched his own cheek, still feeling her cold hand on his cheek, but ignored it as he curled up and looked at her. She was strange and didn't really talk much, maybe she knew limited amount of human language. She had a long beautiful tail and could breathe under and over water. He was getting a bit jealous as if he could have done the same his mother would have been there too, as she finally spoke and smiled again. Julian gently slapped his other cheek where the nails hadn't cut him and stopped himself from thinking about his mother, he shouldn't cry while she was there with him. Later he could make a small memorial place for her, but right now standing was difficult.
((*casually just made this whole rp better by making julian italy in everyone's minds*))
"How do you speak mer?" She asks, watching his eyes look over her. She had never been self concious, but sreing this two-legged being look over her tail, she begins to feel a bit strange. She moves her tail so itbwas mostly behind her, although that brought her completely out if the water. She didn't like it, but she also didn't want the human staring at her tail.
((I'm all the way to Norway xD and just as a side note. We don't strangle danish people with their ties xD I am starting to belive Mizu and Julian are polar opposites... personality wise xD ))
"It is a pleasure to meet you Freyja! You got such pretty colors! Wish I blended in better, but alas I look like a swimming jewelry store so I can't do much about it," Mizu said laughing as he grabbed her hands smiling to her. "Maybe I could borrow some of you colors and you of mine! That way I can blend easier in, and you can stick more out~" Mizu said as he knew the though was childish, but he liked it none the less.
She blushed, because she had never been complimented before. She was just so drull looking compared to all the merpeople here and especially compared to Mizu. She gasped as he suddenly took her hand but was trying to be polite and didnt pull it away. "well...i have things back at home but, I dont see why you would want many things of mine, everything you have is so pretty and shiny. I find many of my things long since forgotten at the ocean floor" She sighed and noticed the merchant she was going to buy the fish from was really starting to bore into her. He gave her a weird look and seemed a little repulsed. But sometimes the merchants were like that.
Julian was too caught up with his thoughts that he didn't realized he had been staring at her tail before she moved it. "S- Sorry! Didn't mean to stare..." Julian said as he looked back at the island. There was a small forest there and a giant hill, luckily no volcanos as there was some stones and other stuff scattered on the beach, he should look over it to see if he could use any of it, he was going to stay on this island if he liked it or not. "Speak mer? Um... I speak English... It's my first language since I'm from America..." Julian answered her a bit embarrassed still from being caught staring, and it was never his objective to make her uncomfortable, at least he didn't grab her tail and pull it as she had done with his leg.
"No. Not your stuff, but that didn't sound bad... maybe I should paint myself black with ink. That should work out... At least maybe work out..." Mizu thought as he let go of Freyja's hands and then began to take off one of his many necklaces. The chains were made out of gold and the crystals were crystal blue as he gently wrapped it around her hair, seeing as that was the easiest place he could find right away. It almost looked like a crown, or a tiara of some sort.
"No, you speak mer." Sirena informs him, crossing her arms. "You and I speak the same language, and it is called Mer." She nods definitively. "What is America?" She leans forward again, though only slightly this time; her curiosity getting the better of her. That happens a lot, as she didn't ever have consequences to her actions, being a princess and all. Of course, her parents disciplined her, but it was never too bad.
She turned away from the merchant and looked at mizu with a quizzical look, "Im pretty sure that would be a difficult process, besides your tale is beautiful. I mean..i love my tail its unique to me but many merpeople here arent use to..this" She motioned to her tail and face right when he started wrapping one of his necklaces around her hair, "W-wait! I cant just accept this it must have cost so much!" She frowned and touched one of the blue jewels that dangled gracefully against her hair.
"No I speak English, American English to be absolutely correct, but there are-" Julian stopped when he noticed that Serina's face once again closed in on his face, as he turned to look down into the sand. The small waves made its way up, then down again as it continued, it wasn't interesting to watch, but it was better than staring at her the entire time, as she insisted to stay so close to his face. "D- Do you have to be... so close. ..?" He asked her as he was practically mumbling the last part of his sentence as he didn't want to sound rude. "America is like this island, but bigger and there's a ton of humans living there. Think if it as a human kingdom," Julian answered as perhaps the word 'kingdom' would have worked better with England, but how was he going to explain it to her?

Mizu:
"Really? I thought my tail is too shiny... I mean... its covered in gold and crystals," Mizu said and looked at his own tail and compared it to hers. It was far more beautiful to be a bit more normal looking, and despite her thinking it was weird he liked her tail, and as Mizu was quite the direct and honest person, he didn't hesitate to tell her either. "I think your tail is beautiful! And who cares what other thinks? Your own opinion is the most important one as you are the one living with it the rest of your life," Mizu said with a bright smile as he finished wrapping the necklace around her hair, as it wad quite long, and had been able to wrap her entire hair. "it wasn't expensive at all! Don't worry about it! It's a friendship gift! So please accept my friendship?" Mizu asked looking at her with puppy eyes.
She looked down at her tail and stroked the smooth shiny scales, she didnt hate her tail it just made her stand out so much in the colorful crowds. But she never really thought it to be special. She blushed when he gave her another compliment and closed her eyes as he finished wrapping the necklace in her hair, "I-i love your tail, its one of the most unique ones i have seen and i know many people who would swim for miles to have one like that. And thank you, i guess im just not used to compliments really. I do like my tail because it is part of where I came from and apart of me. Why struggle to change something that is you" She smiled and played with one of the blue jewels on the necklace. "Thank you again, it is quite beautiful and probably the shiniest thing i own now" She laughed and turned t the merchant paying for two fish. "The least i can do is give you one of these fish" She handed it out to him in, wrapped in kelp. (well just listening to my hub make strange sleep noises im getting tired haha should be on tomorrow if i get some free time ^^ night everyoooone)
The queen knew of her eldest son's condition. "Prince Aurix, I am your mother!" She growled. "If I ever disrespected my parents they would be just as irate! To this day, even." She turned her attention to the king. "Forgive the intrusion on your private meeting, love."
Sirena narrows her eyes. "I am speaking Mer, the kanguage of the Merpeople, and you," she stops, touching his foot, " have no tail." She is confused by the way he keeps dropping off his sentances and looking away; as well as his requesr for space. She backs up only a couple of inches. "America is like Atlantis... out of the sea?" Sirena asks, Atlantis being the only kingdom she knows of. Her father ruled all of the Oceans. There were those mer who lived across the land and in the ice, but they had Lords and Knights to rule them unless Father is direly needed.
Mizu happily took the fish that Freyja offered him and smiled. "Thank you Freyja! I still think my tail is too shiny..." Mizu said as he looked at his own tail a second time, wagging it from one side to the other, as he yet again compared it to Freyja's tail, but he still stood strong as he thought her tail was prettier... but he was very stubborn and he knew that well, so he only let out a small chuckle while he looked at her with one of his necklaces around her hair. "You're like a princess now! The princess of the outskirts!" Mizu joked as he laughed at his own childish joke. He was happy to find someone else living on the outskirts of town and now he had even gained a new friend! It was great!

Julian:
Julian let out a little relived sigh as Serina decided to give him a bit more personal space, he didn't understand why she wanted to be so close. Maybe she was short-sighted? Or did mermaids even know what that meant? As Serina's cold hand touched his foot he looked over to her, blushing a little bit, but didn't pull his leg away. "Y- Yeah... I got no tail because I am not mer. I am human, just as you said before, and..." Julian remembered hearing the tale of the town Atlantis when he was a child, it was the tale of a sunken city, it could be looked as America... in some ways at the very least. "Yeah sure. Like Atlantis, just for humans. It's Atlantis on land, sort of," Julian said and smiled as he thought why she brought up Atlantis. "Do you perhaps come from 'Atlantis'?" Julian asked her, looking directly at her.
(( as this goes on I am startingbto see julian as japan and italy's love child, whilst mizu is more just straight up italy. Adult Italy, not baby italy.))
Sirena nods. "I am the princess." She says. "Well, I'm one of them." Sirena lays back in the sand, arching her back slightly as she looks up at the sky. "I would like to see this Atlantis on the land." ((For her position, think Ariel when she's singing 'what would I pay to spend a day up on the sand' in the little mermaid.))
Kai raises his head above the now calm water, about 20 yards away. "Sirena!" He shouts, motioning for her to come back.
((My characters remind you of Hetalia, I am honored xD ))
"So there is a kingdom down there in the ocean? Do you think..." Julian didn't finish his sentence as Halia had already confirmed that his mother was gone, and his sister was taken by the ocean too. "Never mind. It was nothing," Julian said as he didn't want to know if they had found her body anyway, most likely she wouldn't be alive, and he should be happy to remember her smile one last time. "I would like to go too, but I don't have a place to go even if I so get back," Julian muttered as no one was searching for him and he knew it. He worked as a slave for the past years and now his family was gone, no one knew that he was missing.
What would he do once he got back? Maybe looking for a real job or get a real education. All he knew was that he wanted to go home, it was better than being stranded here. What if all mermaids weren't as friendly as Serina? What would he do if he was attacked? Or if the mermaids wanted him to leave? Hopefully most of them weren't going to drag him around, pulling his legs and then staring at him from an inch distance. It was far too embarrassing. Julian heard a voice as he saw a head a little further into the water, calling for Serina. He didn't say anything, but he knew that she was going to leave, and then he would be alone again. All by himself with no one else.
She chuckled and shook her head, "Iam certainly no princess..the mermaids that were here were the royals" She hesitated when she touched his shoulder gently not to used to interaction with others, "Well..since we seem to get along well and you live on the outskirts to, would you like to join me for dinner?" She hadnt shared a meal with anyone in so long so maybe it was something she could get used to again.
(( xD everything reminds me of one of my *many* fandoms. Like you said honored and my mind goes 'ZUKO' And when you said 'all by himself with no one else' my mind goes 'Aang' (my mind is ATLA oriented today and idk why) and now my mind is filled with Kataang Zutara and Maiko. It is a very serious problem. ))
Sirena looks toward her brother, than back at Julian. He looked sad, and she didn't want to leave. Butbthe storm was over and her father olwould soon be out looking for them. "I'll be back tonight," she says, before making her way back into the water and swimming off.
"You are going to be in so much trouble." Kai tells her, swimming as fast as he can toward the castle with his hand firmly on her arm.
"Only if you tell. And if you do then you and Halia are going to get in trouble too." Sirena shoots back, tugging her arm away. The twins were already almost at the palace. "He's nice, and hurt and scared. I'm going to help him." She says, narrowing her eyes and swimming off. Kai sighs and swims toward the throne room to inform King Caspian that they were home.
((That's how it works xD Then you have an amazing brain! I'm sorry if I am overflowing this RP, but for my defense I got two characters!))
Mizu:
Mizu's face lit up once Freyja asked if he wanted to come for her to dinner, never in his life had he been invited over to eat at anyone's before! He grabbed her hand and swam in circles, happily laughing as he hugged her. "You're the best friend ever Freyja! Of course I would come for dinner! That sounds great!" Mizu said as he stopped twirling around in circles and smiled to her, as some people were laughing at him for his childish behavior. He completely ignored it as he suddenly got the energy to swim around the whole ocean and back, as he was getting more and more excited for each second that went by. "Where do you live Freyja? I live on the Nothern outskirt of town, I can barely find my way to the market as it's dark in the morning," Mizu said with a smile as he was so happy he managed to befriend her, as she seemed she would be one of his best friends ever!
Julian:
"Don't worry about it, I'll be fine," Julian said as he put on a strong smile for her, not wishing to worry her or burden her with his presence as she had already helped him a lot. Once she disappeared into the ocean, Julian struggled onto his feet, dragging his injured leg behind him, but it was already feeling better after Serina had helped him. The sun was in the middle of the sky, searing its heat down to Julian, as he limped over to a nearby tree. There were fruits there, and in the bushes he could spot berries. The forest was larger than he had imagined, and it seemed as no one else, but him was there. He was a bit worried for animals, but he couldn't think about that right now. The most important part was to prepare the memorials for his family, as he had to pay his respect for his mother who had sacrificed him, his sister who would be strong for him, and his father that gave him courage. He couldn't forget them. Julian gathered some sticks and some strong thick grass as he made three crosses on the beach, and knelt before them, praying they were resting in peace. I wish that I could have joined you... I really do... but it seems as Fate itself has a whole different path for me to take... I'm sorry everyone... for not being strong enough to protect you, I'm so sorry... Julian thought as tears began streaming down his face, and he suddenly became thankful that he was finally alone.
(i just love that mizu is so dang hyper but freyja is still so shy around people xD )
Freyja's eyes widened when he grabbed her hand and they were swimming in small circles. She was glad this merperson didnt mind how she looked at that he was so friendly. "I-i live close to you then, it shouldnt be that long of a swim. It was the safest place for us to live when i was younger." she smiled some and kept holding his hand as she grabbed her fish and put it in her bag and started swimming towards her home. "It might not seem that home like but.." She wasnt sure how to finish that sentence but figured it wouldnt matter anyways.
((He's always happy, so the energy level is over 9000! xD ))
"You do? We should like have a weekly tea party or something! Since we live so close anyway!" Mizu said as she began swimming and he swam after her, letting her lead the way as she was holding his hand. It seemed as she had been living there for a long time, unlike him that had only lived there for about three years now, after he was thrown out. "Don't worry, my home is just as strange as me so you can already think of how that is~" Mizu joked as he chuckled a bit as he could hear the jewelry letting their sweet jingle into the sea, as they were for once not only coming from him, but also from Freyja who was swimming rather quickly in front of him, almost dragging him along.
She looked behind her and gave him a quick smile, "Well i have not had tea in quite sometime so thats sounds very nice" The currents were always strong out by her home so the speed she swam was normal for her since she swam in those current on a daily basis. "And if your home is like you im sure its quite nice! Its not like my house is dirty or anything, its just kind of plain" The necklace he gave her glinted nicely in the sun rays that managed to drift down this far. She loved the colors and felt less plain when she wore it.
