Fantasy Atlantis

Amicus: He saw Sirena leaving the castle grounds with her pet turtle. normally, he wouldn't care much for such a thing, but she was leaving on her own, and since the human ship had crashed nearby, who knew how many of them were out there? He sighed to himself, wondering how he'd explain this to his ward officer, before he swam out the window, and after Sirena, taking cover behind stuff so she wouldn't notice him following her.

Drake: "I'm sorry kid, but that doesn't even remotely look like Kelp. Don't you think a sailor would know what kelp looks like?" he asked, slightly annoyed now. The kid kept lying to him, "Why can't you just tell the truth? If you found medical supplies somewhere, it could possibly save our lives!" he said, raising his tone of voice to express the important of medical supplies. "And besides, there is no kelp just lying around where you paid your respects." he said, poking another hole in the boy's lies. He sighed, looking down at the ground as well. What is he keeping a secret? Or Who? He asked himself. Maybe someone else was here, with cloth or something, and decided to help the boy? What if this is the pirate base! And they took pity on him! He looked around, alarmed.
Drake looked at the boy, "Julian, tell your friends I mean them no harm. Really, I don't have the strength to fight right now." he said, dropping his officer's sabre onto the sand. "I promise I won't hurt them. More death is not what anyone needs right now."

Mizu:

"That's fine, don't worry about me. Do you want some help?" Mizu asked as he looked over to where she was standing and then examined the room once more. Even if she didn't do it on her own, it was still pretty impressive to have built something like this at the bottom of the sea. He had never seen anything like this before! It was quite interesting and beautiful too! "Who is your guardian anyway? I would love to meet her since she sounds like such a nice person!" Mizu said in a happy tone, looking around for another mermaid, but he couldn't see anyone and ended up getting a bit confused, but maybe she was out in the market or maybe she had moved out.

Julian:

"N- No! I- I'm not lying! I- I did find a kelp!" Julian insisted as he limped on top of his leg, searching around as he was a bit unsure where he had buried it, and then eventually after some effort found it. He showed Drake the location, as he truly didn't mean to make Drake that suspicious of him, as he had just been crying, and was still in the midst of drying away his tears. "S- see? T- There's no one here except the two of us... I- I didn't get any help..." Julian said as he fell from a standing position to down on his knees, he was feeling a bit dizzy from suddenly standing up and he had lost a good amount of blood for one day, but he was still conscious, as he sat up, once again pretending to be stronger than he was capable of being. "It washed up on the shore, so I quickly tied it around my leg... T- There's even my blood o- on it if you don't b- believe me!" Julian insisted as he let out a sigh. This is hopeless... we are stranded on an island and he doesn't believe a word I'm saying. Not that I've earned his trust in any ways, but at least now I got proof. Anything can wash up on the shore, especially since we're not familiar with this ocean. At the very least... he provided me with an easy way to end this... I just need to get my hands on his sabre... and then I'll see my mom's smile... hear my sister's laugh and feel my dad ruffle through my hair. Telling me everything would be just fine. Julian thought, once again mourning a bit, but he didn't cry this time.

She took out a knife and started to fillet the fish and removing its bones and skin, "No its alright, i love to prepare food and I never have anyone to cook for so its my pleasure mizu" When he mentioned her guardian she frowned and stopped what she was doing to turn to him, "Well..she actually passed away years ago. She was old so it was a peaceful death but I still miss her." She didnt want him feeling bad so she smiled once more and grabbed some crab and kelp from her cupboards. She started laying out the kelp and placed two fish fillets on them and surrounded them with crab legs. She brought the plates to the table and sat down with him.

Drake: He sighs, standing up. "You need to lie down and rest Julian, you aren't making sense, and your wound is pretty bad." Drake understood literally nothing through Julian's stuttering. "I"ll look around for anything that washes up that can help us, you just need to rest for now," Drake said. He still had his sabre gripped tightly in his right hand. He knelt down by the water's edge, and sifted through some driftwood. He found a small, gold outlined, wooden box, floating on the surface. He pulled it towards him, opening it. Inside, was a flintlock pistol, the captain's very own, to be precise. Drake wondered how it managed to remain dry, but decided not to fire it until an emergency, just incase the powder was wet. He didn't want to die. He could find no other power or musket balls, so he knew he only had one shot. He sighed, continuing to sift through the mess.

((I am going to sleep right now, so I'll answer all of you, for both Julian and Mizu tomorrow when I wake up! Have a good night/evening! :D ))

Sirena swims faster once she's out of the castle. Marina keeps following her, but she can't help but shake the feeling that someone else was there. She turns suddenly, catching sight of the tip of a tail. "You there! Show yourself!"

Amicus: He knows he's been caught, and he can't resist an order, so he swims out from behind the rock with a sigh, "My apologies, Sirena, but it is my duty to ensure the safety of the royal family. Humans can be violent towards our people, and I wanted to protect you," he explained, his face slightly red. Personally, he didn't believe that all humans were bad, just some of them, the same going for merfolk.

Sirena narrows her eyes. "Go back to the palace. I can handle myself." She felt awful for being mean, but she couldn't risk being followed.

Amicus: He nodded with a sigh, before turning and swimming away. However, he knew the commands of his king were more important than the commands of the princess. She must be protected, even from herself. He waited until she had turned around, before turning and swimming after her, being alot more careful this time.

Sirena reaches the island and surfaces, about 15 feet from the beach. (5 meters for any of you who don't live in fear if america's stupidity from the inside). She sees another human, and Julian, laying still.

Drake: He sees a blonde-haired girl, suddenly surface 5 meters from the beach. He doesn't see her tail, or compute that she's a mermaid, and shouts, "Hold on! I'll pull you out!" thinking her to be another survivor from the Nike. "I didn't think anyone else survived the ship, but you're a lucky one!" he continued, tossing her a pretty crappy rope to grab onto, so he can pull her ashore. However, he does notice that she is beautiful, more beautiful than any woman he's ever seen. He shakes the thought away, Not important right now,

Amicus:He continues following her, seeing her surface. What in Poseidon's name is she doing so close to land? He thinks to himself, swimming closer, going from rock to rock. If a human saw her... his face goes a whole shade paler for a moment, before he continues.

Drake: He made a confused face, as she backed away from the rope, "Are you alright? You are probably going to drown if you don't get ashore madame," he said, utterly confused as she just sits there in the water. He noticed, that she wasn't flailing and drowning as everyone else would. Maybe she can swim? he thought to himself. Unlike many other people in the time period, he didn't believe everything could be solved religiously, and understood that swimming wasn't witchcraft. "Can you swim?" He asked, still slightly confused.

"Oh," Drake says, still confused. What the hell is she doing? Just swimming there? She'll get tired eventually, right? "Then what are you-" his eyes suddenly widened. "It was you who bandaged up Julian's leg, wasn't it?" He asked, standing up, gesturing over at Julian, lying on the ground asleep. "Thank you, it probably helped him a bit, before he took it off." he told her, with a sigh.

At the mention of her human, shebswims forward a few feet. ((Idk like a meter. Whatever. I don't care anymore. Stupid america and your stupid not using the metric system.)) "Is he alright?"

At this point, Drake has already realized she's a mermaid. He nods slowly, watching her swim forward, "He's fine," he says, turning, looking over his shoulder at Julian. "Although when he tore off the bandage you gave him, he bled out quite a bit. I gave him a makeshift cloth bandage, but rest is the best thing for him now, he's been sleeping for around thirty minutes," Drake explained, looking back at her.
"He said nothing of you helping him," Drake said, looking at her, "Probably didn't want to endanger you," he said, glancing over at Julian, before looking back to her. "I mean no harm though," he said, smiling slightly, "Truly," he promised.

Sirena nods. She had food, but wasn't quite sure how to offer it to him. It was mostly fish and seaweed, but there were some oysters in the bag as well. "Good..." She says, coming closer.

He smiled, "I am Drake," he said, introducing himself. It was the polite thing to do, after all. "And you are?" he asked. Yet again, he thought about how beautiful she was, and yet again he cleared the thought from his mind.

"Nice to meet you, Sirena," he says, smiling. He looks over at the bag, then back at her. "Is this for Julian and I?" He asked, hoping it was food of some sort, he was starving.

Inside, he is disappointed, as he is still hungry. But there's probably food somewhere on the island, he just has to find it. He nods, "Thank you," he picks up the bag, and carries it over to Julian, where he leaves it, right next to him, before coming back to the beach and sitting back down. "Do you live around here?" Drake asked, curiously.
