Fantasy Atlantis

Freyja was swimming around the outskirts, the current making it hard to swim straight and her hair was just getting all in her face. She huffed in frustration and looked around the ocean floor for something to help. "something to keep this wild thing out of my face would be nice" she kicked her tail hard as she went through a particularly rough area in water and gasped as a current right after that knocked her farther out.

Aurix looked at them disapprovingly he was in a poor mood. "Sirena," he started, obviously not in the mood, "what are you doing away from the castle on a day like this?" He noticed there was a commoner with them. The whole lot of them were taking a risk.

freyja panted as she finally came to a stop. "darn these currents" she decided today was not the best day to be out so she headed back for her home. when she got there she calmed her hair down some by using materials from a starfish. She noticed though that she was out of fish and for her dinner tonight. She had lately been a bit out of it and sighed knowing she would need to take a stop by the market.

Vinexa looks down, trying to hide her embarrassment. Three royals here in the Middle Class market, the one time this actually happens and two of them are going to get into trouble. Finally she finds possible friends, and they just have to be the Prince and Princess. Great.

((@CrystalTears , you probably won't get a reply on that for awhile as it doesn't really fit anywhere atm. I suggest bringing your merman in as well.))

"Well, you see, Aurix, Kai and I wanted to explore the city, and no one is really out today because of the storm... so... we snuck out." She says 'Kai and I', but it was mostly her. Kai was always following her on her adventures. It was well known in their family that Sirena was always the one to come up with the ideas, and Kai was the one to swim along after her and try to keep her out of trouble.

freyja grabbed her torn black cloth and but it around her head like a hood that left her hair sprawling out behind her. And grabbing her seaweed bag she headed out to the market. She hoped it wasnt to crowded at the moment but that was nearly impossible. she just didnt want people staring at he anymore, she didnt know why the rest of there merpeople did it but they did.

((@giraffesarebetter I was just doing that, but I didn't want the post to be too long :P Long posts scares some and it was so much longer than all the other posts, I just divided it))

Mizu

Mizu quickly made his way down to the market to see quite a lot of people already gathered there. A storm was raging on top and he could see the Prince and Princess standing among them, along with what was seemingly a guard or maybe a knight. He didn't think much of it and smiled to them as he swam by them, looking at what the market had displayed as he knew he would need some more food, and the current was strong now. The storm was really raging on the surface, he even wanted to go exploring today, but it seemed as his plans were quickly ruined by a storm. A small sigh escaped his lips as he ignored it for now, the storm had to be over sooner or later, so he just looked at the market, continuing to ignore the group that had gathered there, as he didn't want to be involved, and hopefully no one would comment upon his jewelry, as he didn't appreciate being mistaken for a royal at all. It wasn't his fault that he looked like this, it was typical of his breed.

Freyja kept her head down as she swam by other, everything was so bright and colorful but it seemed her dark scales and hair made her look like a menacing shadow amongst it all. she gripped her bag when she spotted royalty and came to a halt, she wouldnt disgrace them by going near them. She started to get nervous and made a quick turn around one of the booths and started losing track of where she was going. "oh my..."
(@CrystalTears if you want to have some other human interaction i could make an interesting island character? one of those people who is hell bent on seeing mermaids and decided to be a loner because of it haha)

@MorticiansDaughter You can do what you wish, but you should ask @giraffesarebetter first, because she says so in the overview that humans can be made, but only if they are asked for first ^^ Of course, I am fine with Julian being on standby, but I needed to make his intro post xD )

(i do believe everyone has poofed)

((Sorry for being so spacy y'all.))

Aurix folded his arms and raised an eyebrow. He understood thier boredom of the castle. It was almost like a prison. Aurix was next in line, however, and was pretty much allowed to do anything now a days. "Dont worry, i wont tell father. However, what were you planning on doing today?" He considered joining them in their fun but he was sure that they didnt want a raincloud like him hanging around.

Freyja dug around in her bag for the money just so she could get it over with as soon as she picks out some fish, only to realize with dismay that if she wanted to get to that booth she would have to get through the crowd of royals. She clutched the money to her chest and took a deep breath and slowly started swimming in the direction.

((Don't forget this is a group roleplay, being too active can make it hard for other's to catch up. So don't go doing 1x1 here. Only a friendly reminder ^-^))

(Yea.. I'm in the middle of moving so I can't post very often. I come on like 2-6 times a day, and every time I come on to post, I have to read like 3 pages... Also @CrystalTears , i can have Halia venture in the island's direction if you'd like...?)

Halia soon found herself outside the castle and got herself farther away as quickly as she could. She wasn't interested in the town, and went out of the town's perimeter and into the open that wasn't populated. Her hair was in a bun, so it wasn't blasting all over like it normally would have, the strong current did make swimming quickly a little more difficult.

The princess kept heading in the direction out of the town; the current only getting stronger and harder to swim in. This didn't faze her though, and she kept pushing on.

Vinexa gives the eldest prince a shy smile and bows. When she straightens back up she rubs one arm with her hand nervously. She's not used to being around merpeople who were this high up on the totem pole, and she was really embarrassed for her lack of words. She just couldn't think of what to say to the heir to the throne.

(I'll send her over in Julian's direction. All you need to do it post. ^-^)

Julian opened his eyes slowly. The sound of the calmer waves filled his entire head as he looked up. His eyes widened by the sights of the ship he once was on, in pieces nothing was spared and by what he could scramble together what that it was an island the boat had crashed into. "Live on..." His mother's words echoed through his head as he looked at the shipwreck. "Mom?! MOM?!" He shouted as he couldn't see her, not even her body could be seen. "Please... don't leave me..." Julian muttered in disbelief that his mother had left him too, and tried to steer with the board he was floating on, but his leg was still hurting from the nails that had cut him deep.

"Mom?! Mom!" He shouted again, but the only sounds were the crushing waves. It didn't take long for the tears to flow up in his eyes, as he hit the board with his fist. "You had to take her too... my sister wasn't enough for you?!" Julian angrily shouted to the ocean as if it was to blame for it. "I can't... I don't want to be alone..." Julian muttered to himself as he slowly let his heavy and dead tired body slide off the board, as he closed his eyes, hoping to see his family soon, being together again. Smiling as if nothing had ever happened to them...

Freyja held her breath and quietly swam past the group of royalty and once she got past them all she let out an exasperated sigh. "not once have a seen the royals down here..if they arent careful its going to draw even more attention to them" she glided over to one of the fish stands and scanned what she might buy for her dinner tonight and what else she could probably get that would make it taste better. She was low on some things currently after all.

Halia suddenly saw things floating about ahead, and her eyes widened in curiosity. A crashed ship? Perfect! The waters seemed a little calmer over here as well. Even better.

The mermaid swam closer, easily dodging around planks and barrels. She found a few interesting objects and even a few gold coins and quickly snatched them up. Suddenly she swam up to the surface, but suddenly something hit her shoulder. Ow!

Moving to side she then tried getting to the surface again, and stared at what had kicked her. It was a foot, and it was attached to a human.

There always had to be survivors, didn't there? The mermaid frowned, glaring at Julian. Because of him she could get in trouble again. But then again, no one knew she was out here. Not to mention she felt a little guilty, and sympathetic for the human.

Mizu

Mizu had gathered a lot of supplies and was happy with his result. He had gathered a lot of shiny stuff and was extremely happy with his earnings as he tucked it safely away and smiled again almost chuckling at his find as he was about to back up, but walked into Freyja as he was too busy celebrating over his own little victory with the sold humans items. His jewelry let out a sweet jingle as he turns to her and immediately bows. "I- I am so sorry! I didn't see you!" He apologized before he reached out his hand, another jingle of his jewelry escaped from him as he smiled. "I am Mizu. It's a pleasure to meet you," Mizu introduced himself, a bit embarrassed at his mistake.

Julian Owens

My foot... am I already at the bottom? I thought it would be colder... darker... but I can still see the sunshine... Julian thought as he opened his eyes to look at the sun one last time, he was almost out of breath now... but he didn't think much of it... his leg still hurt from the nails scratching into him, his cheek did hurt too. He looked around, as he saw Halia.

His vision wasn't clear underwater as the ship had left the water quite blurry. He reached out his hand gently, caressing her cheek as he smiled, it looked like his sister. As if she was here to fetch him and bring him to the rest of his family. Victoria... can I join you three now? Is it finally my turn to see you again? I don't know what to do anymore... I told you I was fine, but I lied... I'm doing terrible... one more last time. Let us all four meet one more time, laughing as we would before. Julian thought as he coughed, he needed air and fast, but even if he tried to swim up his leg wouldn't be able to handle it, and he was too tired already as his hand dropped, and he closed his eyes yet again.

Halia widened her eyes at the touch, staring into the boy's distant eyes. Didn't he realize she was a mermaid?

Suddenly she grabbed his shoulder and hoisted him up to the surface so he could breathe. Her other hand tightly clutched at what she had found. She didn't want to let it go. If he was still touching her cheek, she would shake her head, giving a small frown. How did this human manage to survive?

Freyja was just about to pick up one of the fishes when she was bumped into and she gasped almost dropping her money on the floor. "o-oh..no, its fine really.." she pulled her cloak over herself more and tried not to look at the strange merman who had bumped into her. She could see the glint of his belongings out of the corner of her eye and it dazzled her. He couldnt be from palace could he? she bowed back still keeping her eyes low.
