Kin would nod as Tyler would start running. "Time to go back to the Condominium," he says as he would take the limo and let the drive take him back to the condo. "I wonder what I should do next," he thinks to himself.
Tyler arrived to the gym and said hi to the owners. Everyone first wanted to talk about the video with him and Kota. "Time for the photo shoot Tyler." The photographer said. Tyler nodded, and took off his hoodie and joggers. His fight shorts were underneath. "This is for the ladies." He said laughing as he flexed and his abs were shown nice in the light.
After a good hour the photo shoot was done, he warmed up with some squats, 315 for reps. After a good 45 minutes of weights he got into the cage. Before getting into the cage, he snapped a picture and posted it to Instagram. He decided to send Kayano a text
Hey! When I'm done training want to meet for ramen? Or I'll bring you some. Special delivery haha!
He put his phone down and his mouth guard in. Punches started going.
Kayano had just finished making her eye appointment, her left eye pain wasn't getting worse, but it wasn't going away anyways. She checked her phone, hoping it was Amaterasu, that maybe she was coming back. But instead it was Tyler, she debated wether or not to say yes but decided against it, since she really couldn't be out in public without her contacts, and she wanted them out of the time being. She responded 'Sorry, can't.' before grabbing her glasses from the coffee table and watching TV.
"Time! Alright take 10 minutes." His coach said. Tyler left the cage and rinsed himself off. He grabbed his lighter and smokes and went outside. He lit up and took a long drag. The smell of cherry filled the air. "Phew." He pulled out his phone and saw a text.
Alright no problem. I can drop it off if you want.
He put his phone back in his pocket. People were staring at him since he was outside without a shirt on. Plus a big American. He lit another cig and looked up at the sky. "2 months." He said to himself. He began to think about the fight. His new life has begun. The era of Tyler James was beginning.
Kin would head back to the condo and find himself in the lobby. He figured he would go back to his room, and pressed the elevator button. All he had to do now was wait for the elevator to come down.
Kayano got up and took a granola bar from the kitchen, taking a bite out of it she checked her phone. 'No thanks.' she said, she set her phone on the counter face down and headed back to the living room.
By this time, she missed home. She missed the constant noodles in the morning along with the Suduko puzzles. It's time for her to go home. Before he could respond, she grabbed a pen from the sign up pad, ripping a piece of paper off of the sheet. She left her number for him on the bench, running out of the gym and down the street. 8 miles, she needed exercise anyway.
Tyler lit one last cig. He was already being yelled at to come back in. He checked his phone. "Oh well." He said. Tyler decided to check Twitter and see what's going on. His video was on ESPN's page and he started laughing. "It worked. Everyone is going to be watching now. Kota better be thankful." He called up his agent. "Listen for the fight, I want 1.5 million. Do the conversion to yen. But I want that much for the fight." There was silence for a bit. "I'll see what I can do. It's a little high." "You see the publicity we got. Kota will wake up to having more money than he ever made. He's going to get a good amount for getting his ass beat. Get it done." He said and hung up.
Shoji looked away for a second, "well I d-" he was saying, but when he looked back the girl was gone. He now stood there thinking about what the hell happened, but he noticed a piece of paper on the bench. He piced up the paper and read the numbers, "did she just..." he quietly said to himself, but he quickly shook those thoughts out of his head. This couldn't be what he was thinking. Shoji put the piece of paper in his pocket and exited the gym, heading back twirls his apartment.
"Done." Tyler's coach said. The assistants gave Tyler his water and brushed off some blood that was coming from his nose. He wanted full contact sparring so that's what he got. He fought better that way. Tyler took a swig of water and walked into the showers to clean off. Once he was rinsed off he put on a new set of joggers and a new hoodie. He walked outside and lit up. He stood on the sidewalk. Nighttime has fallen. "Another day." He said. "Two a days tomorrow. Running in the morning, training at night." He said to himself. Reminding himself why he's here. A couple teens came up to him and asked for pictures, girls and males. He took some selfies and waved them goodbye. He heard people shouting at him from across the street. Saying Kota was going to destroy him. It comes with the job. He lit up and realized he needed to buy some more, so as he was walking he'd try and find a store.
Kin then spends his time playing Fallout 4 on his computer, which runs pretty smoothly. With mods downloaded, he was certainly going to be spending most of his time playing this, unless he determines that he should go outside. Life is full of surprises they say, and Kin honestly does believe that.
Tyler walked out of the store with 6 new packs. Figured he better stock up. He lit one and started the walk back to the condo. "This was a productive day." He said to himself. The night was nice and he enjoyed the walk back. That and the cherry flavor of his cig. The lighter hanging around his neck. No music as he wanted to enjoy the city sounds.
"The fourth one, I know ironic." He'd enter a apartment which was slightly messy, "Sorry if it is a mess I usually don't get guess." He'd sit her down and then walk into his kitchen and some garlic bread, "Here munch on this you must be hungry." He then went to work on a Mexican dish called "Fajita Trio" which the aroma filled the condominium.
Sakura laughed lightly, "Yea." When they entered the apartment it was a bit messy but she didn't mind. "Eh, I don't mind it." She told him as she took a seat. When Richard brought back the garlic bread, she happily took it. "Thank you!" She told him happily and looked around the room while eating the bread.
After a couple minutes of cooking and going back forth for some bread he finished. He'd bring two plates of the meal to the table. Richard would then grab some forks, "Here you go and you are going to need this," he'd comment as he grave her one. "It might be a little spicy so ask if you need water."
"Alrighty thanks." Sakura took the fork from Richard and enhaled the delicious smelling food. "Mmm.." When it hit her taste buds it was like heaven on earth. "This is soo good." She praised. The spiciness was kicking in after a few more bites so she politely asked for a bottle of water so she could continue eating the exotic food.
Tyler stood outside the condo and finished his cig. He had food upstairs and if everything went right a bunch of new gear and drinks from monster. After flicking it out he walked in. "Ah Mr. James, there were a bunch of people here bringing things into your place. Your agent called and notified us, so everything went smoothly." The front desk person said. "Oh and some fans dropped off letters, would you like them." Tyler was wondering who knew he lived here but figured it was people who've seen him come in and outta here. "Yeah I'll take them, thanks. By any chance is there a pool in this place?" He asked. "Yes sir there is." "Thank you." Tyler responded and walked towards the elevator. Hitting the button he waited for it to come down. Exhaustion hitting him.
"Maybe it's both." Sakura said as she unscrewsed the cap of the water bottle. She drank some and continued eating. After balancing between eating and drinking effectively, she finished and wiped her face with a napkin. "That was delicious Richard. Better than anything I'd ever had." She got up with the plate in her hand. "Where do I put this?" Sakura asked referring to the plate.
She took all night to get home, collapsing a few times on the side walk. What the fuck was she doing out here at 3 am in the fucking morning. She had no idea why she ran in the first place, she was just jealous and bitchy about everything. She'd finally approach the condominium, seeing a bunch of girls run away with photos that looked like they were autographed. After looking back ahead, shes realized how tired she was. "What the hell am I doing." She'd ask herself, trotting to the elevator. She couldn't quite see the man that was in the elevator, but she could see the door closing. "Wait!" She yelled, holding the door open. When it sensed her hand and opened automatically, she was greeted by a man more than a foot taller than her.
Tyler saw the hand come between the doors and it open. He looked up. His eyes went wide. "It's... It's you! Are you okay? What happened?" He asked. Tyler put everything in his pocket and tried to help the girl. @ismaddy
"Alright." Sakura walled into the kitchen and put the empty plate in the sink. She had returned to the table and sipped her water. "Where'd you learn to cook like that?" She asked curious to know where he got such amazing skills.
"Well kind of just learn from my mother, then went culinary classes." He'd finish his last bite, "Most of time earlier on when learning something new it is like trial and error."
She stared at him. "Why are you trying to look like the nice guy? You fight for a living, but you take girls to lunch. You put guys in the hospital, yet you compliment girls in their entirety. What's your motives with Kayano? Why the hell are you asking ME if I'm okay when you should be asking HER?" She'd turn around, pressing the STOP button on the elevator, causing it to go dim and stand still. "Answer my questions and I'll let you leave." She'd stand in front of the buttons.
