Fantasy After the Gods

(My gosh. I knew this relationship was going to happen. I'm so awesome. xD JK, but I knew this relationship was real. O.o )

(sorry for the wait. Doctor who was on. Oh, and did you not read that Hitokumi can rearrange atomic structure, so he can easily reverse this...)

Hitokumi gave another exasperated sigh. Well, he didn't expect catching one to be easy, but this was just ridiculous. Good thing this could be reverted using one of the calculations he had already memorized during his training. At a relatively leisurely pace, Hitokumi's flew over to where Misafune landed. As he placed a hand on the rock, he shook his head wearily at what the God had meant to be his final act of defiance... It was just immature, really. A high-pitched kerning began to build up in volume as Hitokumi began to weaken the bonds within the atoms of the nearly complete statue, making the next part a whole lot easier. With an almost blinding flash of light and an almost deafening explosive sound as energy was released by the atoms as the bonds rearranged themselves. He could have made Misafune simply turn dust... But he wanted the God to suffer, if he was even the right one, so instead nearly reversed the process, leaving Misafune in a small crater from the force of the explosion.

The trap worked as stone fists rained from above as magma formed into hammers swirled around the attacker. Misafune was no where to be seen. "Why do you pursue me?" A stone face asks? "I do not know you nor wish to kill you, so I will give this one chance to stop or I will level this mountain on us. The dust and smoke in the crater reveals more statues.

(Hitokumi's reversed the effects of the petrification... So are they all fake statues? Also, he recovered quickly from such a big explosion...)

"Your empty threats don't frighten me, and neither do those statues." Hitokumi's called out into the smoke and rubble, "And I shall not leave until I have avenged the murder of my god!" he paused for a while, taking a few steps forwards so he could stand near the middle of the crater. "Show yourself, and you might be able to convince me to forgive you."
(oh, I see it now... Pretty smart, for Misafune. So you did read the character sheet, after all.)

(Earthen embrace.. he physically melded into the Mountain itself. Hinted at by the last act of defiance as he does not think he can return to normal.)

The mountain groaned. "You assume I, a high school nobody am capable of killing a freakin god?" The statues moved to the stone face. "The biggest question no one had answered me is what the hell is going on?" The mountain asked.

(I see... Hitokumi still reversed the petrification of his body... So why was it nowhere to be seen?)

"Nothing doing." The mountain roared. "Why is the world psychotic, gods and demons are not real. You all need professional help." The mountain said. "I ain't killed anyone. Well not yet if you keep pressing me." The mountain range roared.

Hitokumi was taken by surprise at this... Not only had this young god managed to escape from something it took over 2000 years to master... And yet doesn't know that he is a god? "You are a god yourself, though." Hitokumi revealed, "And I know you didn't kill my god... That happened over 2000 years ago... All I want from you is for you to tell me where your father is. Your father is the one whom I must kill. But, if you continue to stand in my way, I will destroy you."

"My parents are mortal and ain't got anything to do with anything. We are blacksmiths, nothing more." The mountain shook. "Sucks your god died, but your wasting time on me. Now tell me how to get home before the people I do fear miss me." The mountain cried rivers cascading.

'wow... This guy is in denial.' Hitokumi thought, then said, "If you're parents are only human, then why do you have your powers... The ones you are using right now."
(Well, if no-one is going to do anything, I might as well go to sleep. Also, I'm going out tomorrow... Leaving at 4am, returning around 9. Makes more sense in gmt. (9 till 2). Not that anyone else would have been on her anyway...)

"Maybe the universe has a sense of humor. I don't know. All I know is mom and dad are far from gods as water is from iron." The mountain shuddered.

(@Mintsong - not even close.)

"They are not your real parents." Hitokumi explained, "And the world doesn't work that way." Hitokumi let out one last exasperated sigh, and said, "You clearly don't know where he is. So be it. I have other sources I can find this out from anyway." Hitokumi placed one hand flat on the ground, having now worked out where Misafune was. As the keening built up, he removed his mask with the other hand, knowing that this would take a lot more power. Tremors began to spread from Hitokumi's hand, and it wasn't long before the entire mountain was shaking.

Then the mountain exploded, leaving nothing but a crater in the middle of the small island they were on, (and leaving Misafune unconscous and back to his ordinary self.)

Hitokumi let the force of the blast carry him up into the air, so that he could leave the island and return to looking for a target. He was slightly winded by the explosion, and felt like he had just ran 80 miles on his hands, but other than that, he was okay. And thus ended the first battle between Hitokumi and the young gods.

(Kind of an auto, but meh.)

The mountain had other ideas as it exploded. Magma and other things erupted upward carrying the sleeping form of the teen high into the sky.....

Back in the city news of the mega eruption has folks worried since no one has ever seen one and lived. However the tiny cloud on the horizon was just an omen for the coming rain of rocks. A big boulder was seen crashed into the stream outside of town.....

(@Ayaka Koizumi - Hitokumi is already at the limit of his potential. All of the gods, especially Misafune have the capacity to grow stronger. Also @Jofune Tsurabisu - you're going to make the mountain, which could have been anywhere, coincidently land on the town? Also, the explosion was only a release of energy caused by the chemical change in the mountain... There is literally no rock to be sent flying. Also, the explosion was centered on Misafune, so he would not have been sent flying... Could you at least explain these impossibilities?)

(I guess... But I was trying to be accurate about it. It's kinda... What I do... Buy, yeah, I guess I can go with the flow...)

(Simple explanation. He used your catalyst to escape. The mountain was already falling apart and you gave it the nudge. Also for future reference, I dig your rp style but being an rp veteran I tend to overly critique others unconsciously. But that said you should wait until resolution before doing world shaking things. Other than that your pretty sweet at rp. I just was not finished talking. Also I'm reduced to tapatalk for the time being. So yeah I'm a little frustrated.)

(I... See... I don't think you're quite understanding what Hitokumi did... And there was no catalyst, unless you meant that metaphorically... Thanks for the compliment... Hitokumi didn't blow up the mountain... He used telekinesis to alter the structure of it's atoms in order to reverse whatever Misafune did and give him a new body... Though, I suppose, there could be a bit of debris from leftover rock... I'll keep that in mind in the future... I guess Misafune might have been sent flying because of the reflected force from the crater anyway... As for the conversation and continuing the scene... I've thought of an awesome setup for that... On one of the largest pieces of debris as it falls or something... That could make for a really cool scene, with all the falling rocks and everything... Also, I am actually a writer, and my first book is going to be published soon... I've already got the story for almost 50 books sorted... Also, I excel at fight scenes, and mind games (in books, and, as such, in RPs too.) Want to carry on then?)
