Sleipnir

The Eight-Legged Norse Horse
The universe is divided. There is a parallel universe to our own where every work of fiction exists. Nintendo has it's own galaxy, as does Marvel. Each time someone in the human world writes someone or something new, it is created in that other world, however, the effect works both ways. Richard Castle, for example, writes fiction and his works are real in the normal, human world.

The only catch is that each character only exists one time in the world, and this current trend in the human world of rehashing old works over and over is causing problems for.... well everyone. Loki doesn't know who he is, anymore, as he is torn between his comic book, movie, and mythological personalities, for example. This tends to cause issues.

Now, Tony Stark and Heimdall sought out Loki, who planned to summon a meeting of individuals who could help to fix their reality. The ultimate goal ends with summoning powerful beings to rewrite the world as they know it.

Who are these powerful beings?

Human writers and artists, from our boring old world.

There was an immediate gasp and as soon as Seven's feet touched the floor, she fell to her hands and knees, shocked by the teleport. She looked up, pushing her hair out of her bright blue eyes. "What-?" She looked around. "What?" She frowned. It wasn't as if she didn't recognize the people in front of her. She knew Loki, Heimdall and Stark very well, and of course it was hard to get so far into high school and not recognize Levi, though she didn't know his name. And then Castle - she was a fan of Castle. "Where am I? How'd I get here?"

"Yes, how did we get here?" Castle asked, dodging a wayward sword-swinging Link, who had been teleported in mid attack. He then turned to scan the room. He'd heard of many of these people- some of them were fiction in his world too, some of them he'd met for an intergalactic poker game once every couple of months. There was a reason some of his theories were so out there and crazy.

"Does anyone care to explain? I was having breakfast with my lovely daughter and wife who will undoubtedly be missing me soon." He added.

Amaryllis appeared in the room in a similar state of confusion, "Wait... what's going on? Where.... woah, this is like that Avengers movie set." She gasped, looking around the room in amazement. She was so fixated on the room it took until one of the other people spoke for her to register the crowed that had been gathered in the room.

Loki watched everyone, he couldn't hide the smirk of amusement that formed on his face. He could have gone and recruited them all individually, but this was far more fun. Of course, a few cosmic beings had been teleported nearby, but most of them left soon after the summons, a tad more than mildly annoyed. He chose to watch for a bit longer before saying anything.

"I'd guess movie set, but this would be a greenscreen," Seven pointed out. She glanced at Castle with a grin, but supressed the desire to speak to him in favor of looking around some more.

White-haired Jack Frost, hanging out on the other side of the room. She frowned, looking at Loki. "And I know who you are. Which one are you, though?" She asked, stepping toward him. "...Movie? You look like you're from the movies."

Len was walking home from school even though he was an idol he still went to school when all of a sudden he was in a strange place he saw Levi which anybody knew from anime he saw Loki, stark, and castle he wasn't that big of a fan and he stood up and nobody was facing him and said "um does anybody know where we are" with a curious look on his face and said "because I have to get home and finish a project".

Raiden was in the middle of fling through the air to get back to his temple, when all of a sudden he was no longer flying and instead found himself in a strange place. Returning to his mortal form he let out a angry groan. Only a few people could summon a god and they were other gods, so he could guess that he was summoned by a god. "Who dares summon me" Raiden said loudly making sure his voice could be heard the whole way around the room. Placing his hand in the air a bolt of lighting struck it only to be replaced by a staff. "Well speak up unless I blow you all away and look at the ones left standing!" Raiden threatened angrily whoever summon Raiden summoned him at a bad time so he wasn't the most happiest of chaps right now.

"Actually, you have a bigger project to work on now." Loki said, speaking up for the first time, he ignored Jack's question in favor of the more dramatic first words. His voice was projected so that it could be heard throughout the room. He straightened his posture just a touch and assessed the three he did not recognize at all.

"Welcome to Asgard, for those who don't know, I am Loki, and I am the one who has gathered you for a much higher calling than a simple project."

Castle saw Loki, and started trying to piece together what was happening, and why they were all summoned.

Amaryllis was starting to recover from what she was suddenly presented with. She looked around and asked,
"Is this some kind of convention? Are there hidden cameras somewhere? I'm not sure how you guys managed the fake teleporting, but that's pretty cool. I didn't expect to win when I entered that sweepstakes for the all access Comic-con pass. Wow, you guys are really in character, huh?"

Heimdall stepped forward. "The balance of our worlds has been altered and has caused chaos. You three - you are creators. In your world, you create art - writing, music, paintings. You have the power to alter the balance of this world, and another like you has. We don't know how long he has been here, but he is presenting... Inconvenciences to us. We require your assistance in order to get rid of him."

Seven frowned, looking around. "You're telling me this is all real?" She asked, frowning. She looked around, staring about the room. Well - Loki and Heimdall were standing in front of her, and now a thin coat of frost had decorated the walls of the room. Whoever the heck the lightning guy was, Levi, Castle - she couldn't really deny it. "...When do we start?"

"Wait, like real real?" Amaryllis asked, looking at Seven startled, then around the others. "No way, that can't be right."

Something then shifted in Loki, and the confusion of the humans was no longer amusing, it was agitating. He pulled his dagger from his belt and flung it at the blond girl, it pierced her foot straight through, and she let out a loud scream. Hmm, maybe that was more annoying.

"Does it feel real?" He asked the girl, watching her.

Amaryllis looked at him stunned, then back at her foot. THERE WAS A DAGGER IN HER FOOT. How the hell did she get here? A hand had immediately flown to her mouth when the dagger first pierced her foot, preceding the scream that followed. Tears sprang to her eyes but she tried to blink them back. She stayed silent, her breaths were trembling and ragged as she tried to deal with what was going on

"Oh, well surely that was unnecessary! Heimdall?" Castle exclaimed, blinking and looking to his old poker buddy for assurance that Loki was entirely out of line.

"...Comic books. Definitely from the comic books," Jack observed, looking very startled himself.

Heimdall didn't look particularly surprised, just... disappointed. "This is the sort of issue we're dealing with. It's not just Loki, either. It's everything - there are three characters in one individual: Loki as he was in our original stories, Loki as you see now, and Loki as he was portrayed in your movies. It is the same situation everywhere."

Startled, Seven went to move toward Amaryllis, but saw someone was already beside her. He was kneeling beside her, wearing a ridiculous hat to where she couldn't see his face. He carefully pulled something from a small pack he was carrying - it looked as though it was some sort of potion - and he handed it to Amaryllis, carefully turning his attention to the knife and extracting it. He didn't say a word, looking up at the blond girl occasionally until the knife was out. "Drink that," he encouraged. "It will make the hurting stop."

Getting up Len said "so we're here to help because anything we write sing or draw come here" Len started to dust off his best and started to dig in a bag and took out a music sheet that had a song he wrote and put it up and said "so if I sing this it has a possibility of coming to life here" he said with a smirk pushing his hair back up.

Raiden's face was showing no emotion, it was his job to protect which ever planet he was on and alas now he was here it seemed he was being asked to assist some people in riding this world of some evil. Listening to what the man had said Raiden frowned if that was true then they would be four Raiden persona, the original timeline, the alternative timeline, the movie Raiden and the game Raiden. "That is very problematic." Raiden muttered to himself three of him would help however one wouldn't, no one would do it alone and kill anyone that got in his way. Raiden looked towards the young male who seemingly wanted to test where what the man said was true or not.

Amaryllis stared at Cole, And nodded, taking the pouch from the strange man with trembling hands. He seemed familiar, but she couldn't quite place him. "Th-thanks." She said, shakily. She drank from it, and allowed Cole to help her.

"Di-did no one just- Did nobody just see that?" Castle asked, a bit in shock looking around the room to check the others for any sort of reaction whatsoever, his hand was still motioning to Loki.

Loki, at being described like this said nothing, he knew it was true, but he didn't like it. In fact, like most things when he was like this, he loathed it.

Heimdall looked at the boy. "In a way, yes - it has already come to life. If Seven would draw for us, she could more easily demonstrate the concept."

Jack leaned forward, lighting down on the floor. "That's what I'm getting at," he said dryly. "Seriously, the guy puts a knife through someone's foot and everyone acts like it's normal."

Seven was watching Cole with Amaryllis, only turning her attention back to Heimdall when he said her name. She hesitated, glancing at Cole and Amaryllis again, then pulled a sketchbook and pen out of her backpack, sitting down to sketch something up, choosing a rabbit. She stared at the drawing, then looked up at Heimdall. He nodded and when she looked back down, the small animal was sitting on the book, looking like a physical manifestation of the sketched lines. She stared at it, fascinated. "...Wow."

Cole didn't seem to even hear that she'd thanked up, then stood up. "It will heal very soon," he told her quietly, then suddenly he turned to Loki. "...Who is the six-legged stallion?" he asked.

After Levi observed the man in what looked like highly expensive clothing throw a knife into a girls foot, he felt like talking. "Wait, so explaine to me why the hell I was summoned here." Levi demanded. He was feeling a bit ticked off he missed his daily cup of tea and cleaning time. 'Dang, I was looking forward to organizing my cravats today.' he thought to himself. But still looked at the man in expensive clothing, expecting an answer.

Heimdall turned to Levi. "That I cannot say. It is possible that your world has been unaffected by the Storyteller — the one responsible. But Loki's spell clearly thought you could help us, otherwise you would not be here. Your goal is to find the man responsible for the damage — the Storyteller is his name — and end his reign in our worlds."

Alex woke up in his room, and as usual, he got up, quickly showered, put on clean clothes, and sat on his bed. Meanwhile in Equestria, however, Blitz was having a race with his sister, Dash. they were racing throughout the halls of Canterlot High, but stopped as they were confronted by Principle Celestia. "Excuse me, do you know how fast you were just going? Someone could've got hurt!" She exclaimed. "But they didn't!" Blitz quickly, and sarcastically replied.

Loki payed far more attention to Cole's comment than that of Levi. "No one. He is no one, and also unimportant." He said, quickly and dismissively. He turned his attention to Heimdal and said, "Well, I've gathered your group. What do you intend to do with them?"

Amaryllis watched Cole, and said little. The boy was right, the pain did leave quickly. Then it hit her: "Oh! You're Cole, aren't you?!" She asked. The dagger to her foot really helped her get over the fact that this was all really happening- or at least, it put the shock off for a bit, temporarily.

Castle, meanwhile, stayed remarkably quiet, until he realized what this meant:
"Wait, so you mean that I've been summoned to go on an epic quest to save the world from the throws of evil? Finally? Well, this may make up for never getting my Hogwarts letter."

Cole tilted his head at Loki, then began, "He isn't no one — isn't he-?" He stopped, turning to Amaryllis. He looked very pleased when she named him. His attention was no longer on Loki. "Yes! Did I meet you before? You remember me?" He didn't fully grasp the concept of who came from where yet; at the moment he assumed everyone could be from anywhere, so he treated them that way.

Jack Frost grinned. He got the impression that he would like Castle, but said nothing for the time being.

Seven, however, opened her mouth to enlighten Cole, only to realize two things: One, Loki had just shanked a girl's foot. The sort of shame the aforementioned six-legged stallion would bring would likely get her shanked somewhere more fatal. Two, and less importantly, Cole was no longer paying attention, so she just looked at Levi, curious. "...How do you put up with it? All the fighting at home?"

Levi looked to the girl, sadness flashed in his eyes, but only for a second. "The fighting, eh? It's brutal. We've lost many soldiers...good and bad. Only for us to go into battle once more and lose over and over again. It's a losing cause. But with the hair-trigger tempered Eren Jaeger, a titan shifter, he may change things for us. I just wish he could have come earlier." Levi said, emotionlessly. "But, we'll have to see won't we?"

A boy in black clothes, and white hair, was sitting at the back leaning against the wall, listening to what the guy called Levi was telling them. In a way, it was just like back at his home. Titans were like ghouls, human soldiers were the ghoul hunters, and just like Eren Jaeger was a bridge between titan and man, Kaneki was one between ghouls and humans. He hasn't been always like this, but an accident left him neither human, nor entirely ghoul. He didn't belong to any of the two, but still fought for the ones that loved him. It seemed like he and Eren would have gotten friends, were they to meet. However, there was the question...How did he end up here? Minutes ago, he was running from the CCG (ghoul hunters) and now, he was standing in the most beautiful room he ever saw in his life. With strange people... And a girl who apparently made a rabbit came out of nothingness. The others noticed him earlier, as they did with the others, but for now, he would not get more involved. He would stay at the back, and listen to the details. Small talk wouldn't do good for him anyway.

Meanwhile, Rain also was glancing around the room, that he was seeing. He didn't know what sort of god brought it here, or what sort of immense power. Or even the reason he was here, yet he knew he will find out soon. He immediately saw Raiden, and went besides him. Raiden was an old aqcuiantace, and surely even though they fought before, as Rain was often on the evil side, he was now reedemed and got respect before Raiden. He was half-god afterall, even though not as powerful as the electricity god. Approaching him ,he cleared his throat, and asked him. ''Master Raiden. Why are we here?'' @Bills352

"Meet? Uh, sort of. I remember you, though, and I know that many others don't. You and Dorian were always my favorites." Amaryllis said, looking Cole over. It was strange seeing him in person, as opposed to animated. She wondered if everything would be in person as they traveled. What about cartoons, like Danny Phantom, or Adventure time? That would certainly be very strange to see.

Her thoughts returned to Cole, and she realized that she should probably tell him what she meant, but how do you tell someone that they were a video game character? She opened her mouth to speak, but then closed it again, realizing how strange it would sound.

Loki regarded Cole coldly, but seemed relieved when he stopped pressing him for answers about his one night stand with Sleipnir's father. He waited, then, for Heimdall's answer. What was their next move? What was the Story Teller doing? Loki had not yet been filled in on any of this.

"That's.... um.... th- that's nice...." Alex said, scared to death about what was happening. As soon as he said that, Blitz and Dash appeared out of nowhere. "Woah..... that was pretty cool..." Blitz said, hovering like 4 feet off the ground, with the help of his wings. "Cool? COOL!? THAT WAS AWESOME!" Dash shouted, flying around everywhere. "Woahwoahwoawoah woah.... Woah...." Blitz grabbed Dash's arm. "Slow down, Crackie." He said to her. Blitz called dash 'Crackie' because she was alway full of energy, like someone on cocaine.

"The Storyteller," Heimdall continued, "is attempting to ascend to godhood. I'm sure some of you already have been made aware of what happens when such fancies are entertained."

"Yeah, you get caught by a creepy white haired child and pumped full of lead by the only guy everyone loves enough to get away with it," Seven replied.

Heimdall gave her a look, then continued. "Finding him won't be so easy. He moves between worlds, but most often, he can be found in the center of them. I will not be accompanying you, but Loki will, and I am sure he can find the way, assuming he is in the right frame of mind. I doubt any of those effected care how you stop the Storyteller, so long as he is stopped."

"So... kill him...?" Jack looked put off by the concept. He wasn't in the business of hurting people, not without few exceptions.

Cole tilted his head slightly at Amaryllis. "Dorian would like that," he replied. "I think you would be one of his favorites." He didn't care to elaborate, instead turning his attention toward the conversation before them. "The Story Teller is hurting things, and not just people. There are entire worlds that are cracking at the roots because of him, splintering, slowly, though, so no one can see, and in the end there will be nothing but the splinters."

@Hel

Heimdall turned to Cole. "You see through my eyes, boy?"

"...Yes," Cole replied quietly.

Seven turned sharply at the new arrivals, looking startled. Two oddly colored individuals. They flew. What. She looked at the others, wondering what exactly to think. Well -- the gathering already had Scarecrow, as she'd already christened Cole, none other than Loki, the norse god of trickery, a monster slayer who she couldn't help but feel awful for(After all, she always pitied soldiers), fun incarnate, and a lightning-god-guy. It couldn't get too much weirder, could it?
