Sure. Just pass all the tests and he should be good. I would suggest some armor though if he's actually in the joust. The lances, while not battle lances, can still easily kill Cayden if it hits his light armor at full charge.

He's an average jouster, so he'll pass if not exceptionally. But his horsemanship may pull him father in the joust then one would suggest seeing his skill. He'll wear some armor though
