Fandom 7 days to die (Open 'till the 7th day!)

Mavis recounted Scott's earlier acceptance to the job to retrieve the other mystery man, so she decided to take up finding the man who just sent Lithia a text instead. "I'll go back for him. Tell him to stay put and to expect an arrival." She looked to the others and waved goodbye before breaking into a sprint down the roadside before she disappeared from their view.

"Sure, Eric should still be back at camp so you shouldn't be alone" Lithia Nods her head, watching as she ran off and went back to text the two guys. @historic

  • We're on our way, just sit tight. @Soz
  • We're sending someone back, expect help soon @LoneSniper87

"Alright, Scott lets go and find our mystery guy then," She looks at the coordinates on her phone to find him "We should hurry it's getting late and really dark" @Spoodermanultra

Eric was trying to figure out the dimensions of a wall around the cabin. It was hard without a tape measure, and he had no concrete, but it was a good thought exercise.

  • Ok, I will set up camp then.

He sent the message, then put his phone away, moving toward a nearby tree and very carefully stripping off a branch. He took the branch and moved over to the van, went to the dead driver and removed his shirt, tearing it apart and using it to tie a rock to it. After that was done he spent a good while trying to sharpen the stone against the van enough to cut into some wood so he could start a fire.

Mavis darted along the trees, no longer tied down by having to slow down for another. It was getting dark and the cold seemed to push through her jacket without the help of the wind, meaning she should probably get this guy and he head back to the cabin as soon as she could. She wondered briefly about how well the others could seemed to make campsites. It was a valuable resource and teaching she could respect, sure, but she saw no point in just stopping while you could keep going.

Her strides were becoming a lot more quick as she was reaching her peak speeds. After many years in track it wasn't that hard. But still she managed to blunder and nearly fell flat on her face again. Not tripping on her own two feet was quite a problem for her. Her coach called her the bane of the team's existence when she tripped and fell at nationals. She just called herself unlucky.

She slowed to jog when she caught sight of a man shifting near the edges of the van. For a short second her mind created images of Jon, her old friend roaming the van and grabbing her by the ankles when she tried to run away. It was one of her favorite horror movie cliches, but she'd hate to have it happen to her. Nevertheless she ventured further towards the man and stopped entirely.

"Excuse me. Are you the man who was texting Lithia and asking for help? I'm Mavis, nice to meet you. I don't have medical expertise, but I can lead the way back to the others..." her voice trailed off as she noticed Jon's tie tied around a rock he was sharpening against the van. "Is... is that his tie?"

"Who's tie?" He asked, looking up as he gave the van a final hit, then hit it against the tree, nodding in approval with it's ability. "Ryan Walker, and yeah I am the one who messaged. You guys nearby?" He asked, sliding his hand up closer to the makeshift axe blade. "And lead the way, thanks again for helping me Mavis."

"No problem," she turned her back to him and began walking alongside the road, appreciating the time she had to relax from her run. "The others are pretty close by. We found a cabin a few hours ago, so we've been staying there. Surprisingly, you're not the first to message Lithia. The other guy was on his way with a car but nearly got himself killed so we sent someone out to go get him. How are have you been holding up with those injuries?"

@LoneSniper87

"Could be better, hurts like a bitch, but I manage." He said, following after with a slight limp. "If we are planning on staying there we should probably fortify it, in case of bandits and such." He said.

(I'll come back, but I'll warn you I may be busy at times GMing an RP of my own so depending on how fast this moves I might not reply as quickly)
