How many charms can i buy? or more specifically how many exp do i start with?

I'm trying to create a rough character draft, but i'm not sure how many points do i get for: Attributes Abilities Virtues All i know is that Essence starts at 2

@Alazair I don't really understand this "Charms" things so can you post a brief walk-through of it? Are these like spell books??

Well my local bookstore only sells DnD... so i'll have to use the pirated 1 :(
