Realistic or Modern Zombie Apocalypse

During the entire ride, Tiffany was asleep, but then she had awakened due to a strong contraction. She gasped in pain as she shot up from the reclined seat. "Ow." she sighed before taking a deep breath, a pained facial expression on her face. She took a few more breaths before returning the seat to its original position. However, she felt a bit better when she finally got out of the truck and got the chance to stretch out her legs. Now that they were by a River, she felt refreshed, but that water was definitely not safe to drink. Hopefully she had packed a water filter somewhere in the Jeep. She sighed before opening the back of the Jeep. "Well, let's set up camp. Kinda want at least one tent up before it starts raining." she said as she started looking for a tent, which she was sure that she packed.

(Several minutes prior to Ausitn and Tammy's arrival)
Holliday breathed a deep sigh of relief when the girl managed to kill the final zeds. She and her dog made a hell of a team, and he took note. He immediately began to reload his pistols with the rounds stuck in loops of his pistol belt. Chances were she really wast with the bandits as she had helped him and all, but you never could be sure. Loaded pistols would restore a lot of his confidence while dealing with this stranger. When he was done he coughed a few times and cleared his throat. "Appreciated, now Ill hold up my end of the bargain. If you weren't who you said you were, you'd probably have let me die. Cant say I still fully trust you, but I wont hold you at gunpoint any longer."

He then walked back over to the truck and set his black powder Remington down on the seat. It would take to long to attempt to reload it there. He pulled out his Winchester and leaned it against the door in case any more zeds showed up. Then he took out two plastics bottles wrapped with a red band and tossed one at the girl. "Cheers, you earned it." Holliday twisted the cap and took a drink of the coke. Its sweet but acidic flavor bit him as he sipped it down. What was that 3, no 4, near death experiences in the span of a week. Holy hell, what had he gotten himself into. Holliday finished the soft drink and tossed the bottle to the floor. With all that he had done in that single day, litter was the least of his offenses.

Now then, what to do with the girl? Holliday looked her over once more now that she was closer. She was young, not very well armed, and fairly skinny to boot. Because of her looks he was surprised at how she had lasted so long. If adrenaline hadn't have been coursing through his veins earlier he might have reacted differently. "So about your plans to go to the hospital, don't. There's raiders there, and from what I've seen unlike me they'll just kill you on sight. Now here's the deal, I'm currently with a group of people who seem like alright folk. I can take you too them, and they might just have a spot for you. Or we can part ways, and you can continue on all lone wolf like. Wouldn't bother me none."

As Holliday waited for an answer he saw headlights in the distance. Probably a mile away. "Shit, we'll have to get back to that later. Someones coming!" Holliday grabbed his rifle and looked around. He spotted a building which had a ladder leading to its roof on the side. "There come on. Well get to the roof and wait to see who it is, my truck will draw their attention and they'll investigate. Best case scenario they're from the group I was telling you about. Worst case scenario they're raiders looking for me. If that's the case we'll dry gulch (ambush) them from up there." Holliday then quickly escalated himself to the top and got perched to snipe down below. When the figures emerged, he saw familiar faces.

@Crono, @tammynorthland, @Dibbydoo
She caught the plant bottle. She didn't bother to open it, intend she gave it to the dog who held it while she unzipped her bag. She took it off the dog, and pulled out a boat, grinning. " I think I you deserve this, little weasel." She said, tossing the bone toward the dog, who ran at it happily and caught it. The poor bone was in the grip of the puppy. It would never see the floor again. The girl zipped up her bag and hauled it on her back. It was big, almost weighing the same as her. She watched the bottle be mercy lesson tossed to the floor, littering the grown below her. She looked at the truck, raising an eyebrow. Where did he find that? Most cars would've been taken for cark pieces or even destroyed from panic, or no gas.

She listened to what he said, dissapointed that there was raiders already there. She huffed, listing to what else he had to say. " I'll take the chances." She said. The dog, with the bone still clenched to its teeth, jumped up on Holidays leg, urging him to pet him. He had one brown eye, the other blue, it's ears perked up high. The dog sniffed holiday. Non hostile. Good. Play mate. That's what he got from the sniffings.The girl rubbed her fore head. She had a headache now. From all the dust that had blown in her nose, the horrible small and that damned gun powder.

She turned and saw the headlines, huffing as she picked up her puppy, whom whined lightly. She quickly following him, being light on her feed she hardly made a sound. She climbed up the latter behind him, gripping the dog as they got higher and higher. Once they reached the top, she puckly pushed the dog up on its feet and jumped up herself. She watched Holiday, and layed low too. The dog got the command, and layed down, it's head laying on the floor as its ears pulled back. She was not too close to holiday, but not too far. " Who is it?" She asked.

Between running like a headless chicken and grabbing things like a maniac in a 90% off sale and making sure that everyone actually got out of the mill and into cars Tori felt like time had decided to go on ahead and speed up on her. Like seriously people said time was supposed to slow down at major event in your life? yeah right it had sped by her faster than she could mutter the words holy shit. She must have kicked into automatic panic response mode at some point too cause the last thing she remembered was telling everyone they needed to get the hell out of there and that is just what they had done. Tori had just one teeny, tiny not really that big a deal but actually very good kinda problem. She had only gone and got herself lost, Well at least she thought she was lost..technically she was ALWAYS lost since she didn't have a single clue in hell where she was since she got caught up in this mess but ya know...

This time she was definitely lost, lost. As in she had no idea where the others were, She had no idea where the hell she was and better yet she couldn't be 100% sure that she even knew how to double back on herself and get back to the mill. Not that, that was a great idea in the first place since when she last cast eyes on it, it was becoming overrun by a hoard of ravenous ex-human's soo yeah great day right? The woman sighed and thunked her head against her steering wheel. She hated these roads, she hated this stupid place and she hated not knowing her way around. She let out a frustrated grunt before sitting up straight and staring out the windshield. She had pulled over on what looked like some sorta side street? hell she didn't know it look quiet enough for now though. Tori wasn't entirely sure what to do, If she looked for the others she risked getting more lost, if she didn't she was stuck out here by herself..besides she had some stuff for that kid too hadn't she. "Aww god damn...." She mumbled to herself.

Jennifer hopped out of the car, holding Josh. Looking around, a smile emerged on her face. The area reminded her of a place she would like to visit before the heart transplant. Woods and a river always made her smile. While some were creeped out and scared of the woods, Jennifer found it beautiful and relaxing. She walked over to the area they wanted to set camp up at.

"How are we on water? I can make a fire, and if we can and need to, I can boil the water and sanitize it. I did back at the mill. You really have to be careful with that water. I know from experience what can lie in there if you don't properly sanitize it," she said to the two girls, before looking away and sighing, then returning her attention to Josh.

Holding Josh was something that made her feel incredibly happy, for some reason, but at the same time, saddened. Josh would not only grow up in this world, but he would not have his mother or father. He never had a chance to meet them. Instead, he would grow up in the shittiest world, with people like this group. Hopefully they can find a place to settle at and he can be safe, or safer than he would be going from place to place.

"We shouldn't do too much. This is only temporary. We'll be leaving her soon. Just keep an eye out. Oh, and Miyuki, can you take Josh. Holding him is bothering my wound a bit, if you don't mind."

Jennifer paused for a second.

"Shit, did anyone see Tori get out?"

Jennifer realized that Tori had not been near them. She had forgotten she had taken a separate car.

It hasn't taken Holliday long to figure out who was down below. When he did he let out a slight chuckle, "We lucked out," he said in response to his companion who was taking cover next to him. Then he slowly stood up and rested the rifle on his shoulder. He ran his fingers through his hair, glad that he had caughten a break. He drew a deep breath and then yelled, "FOR THE RECORD TAMMY, I had you in my sights the moment you stepped out of your vehicle. I could've blown your brain out at any given time had I been inclined, don't get to arrogant. If have to agree with Austin on this one, it was a bad call yelling out like that. At least take some cover next time."

Holliday walked over towards the latter and took his time going down. It was bit difficult since he was holding his rifle as well. Once he was at the bottom he made to greet the others properly. He noticed it was just the two of them, the rest being nowhere to be seen. "I'm glad to see you're all still kick'n, but what about the others? Did everyone else make it out ok? I went after the guys who attacked us, figuring a counterstike would prevent them from launching another assault. I'll admit I also wanted blood for Skylynn but you can question my morals later. The point is they are all.... eliminated. But I did find out there is more where they came from. Another 20 at least. The good news is that they do not know about us. The group who had attacked us was only a scavenging party acting on a whim. Still, it won't take long for the others to start to wonder what happened to their men. When they do we either need to be long gone, or at their front door ready to give them hell. Before you suggest fleeing, they are at the hospital. They already cleared the horde, meaning there are only 20 men standing between us and Jennifer's pills. So what do you think?"

She smiled. " Thank god.." She said, those two words weaselling out of her lips. She stood up after him, the dog dong the same. She sighed lightly, stretching as she closed her eyes. She hasn't slept much, and she didn't think it would catch up to her, but, it is. She shook her head, the tiredness ,shaking off with it as she looked down to the people. She only saw two. It didn't see, like a group, more of a trio. She picked up the small dog, it licking the girls neck in excitement. She giggled, brushing it off. She walked to the edge, and watched him climb down. She waited till his feet hit the floor, so she could climb down. One arm around the dog, another on the ladder. It took her about a minute to get down safely, her hands getting tired from how that of a grip she had.

Her feet hit the floor with a thump, a small dust cloud escaping from under her feet. She put the pooch down,walking to where the trio stood. She silently stood beside Holiday, a small hint of curiosity gleaming in her eyes. She rolled her neck and cracked it in all different spots. She listened as holiday spoke, confusion lacing all over.

Tammy ran up to them quite silently. of course now she was being quiet. she saw the dog and smiled. she loved dogs. "oh my god a puppy!" she smiled and picked at the pups fur petting it.

she then rose up and got close to Hollidays face her septum glittered from the moonlight. she winked, " yea but you would not shoot someone like me." she stated to Longshot. She then backed up a little and went back to giving the dog attention. petting the cute adorable husky and smiling as the pooch licked her. she had a huge way with animals. She loved them a lot and always had a huge heart. she then put her serious face on and stood up again. " so we got like what 8 people and a baby/ who is this girl your hanging with? and more importantly I am glad to see your alive Longshot." she drew along the lines of her bra under her crop top. "The group is safe we split up because I heard your shots. I knew it had to have been you so Austin and I went following them. " they said we would meet up again. " she started to reach for her backpack and pulled out a piece of brass and put it in his hand. " found a spare round on the ground. not sure what its for but you might want the extra metal."

Tammy pulled out her pistol and checked the clip like Holliday taught her, there were still rounds in the clip. she had no idea how many but she still had shots. " we need to help Jenn and in the end of the day if people are holding up the hospital are still there I want to kill them all... They wont get away with what they did. " Tammy was all over the place with her thoughts she had a lot on her mind an was worried and tired as well. She then asked. " do you have any plan for the hospital, how big is it, and what is our best bet for going after the medical supplies, if any are leftover?"

@Mercer @Dibbydoo

Austin was relieved to find out it was indeed Holliday, or Tammy would have been roadkill. The man watched as both Holliday and a young girl climbed down, with a dog of all things. Who keeps a dog anymore? It's like the baby, extra noise to make things complicated. "It's good to see your still alive as well, again." Austin gesturing at the ground littered with dead walkers.

When the younger man brought up the rest of the group Austin shook his head, "Aedan, Tori, and David are all M.I.A. Though I spotted David as we left." Austin pointed at his face where a few small cuts had bled and dried up along with one larger one across the cheek that had also dried. "Accidental parting present I'd say."

Austin wasn't the biggest fan of Holliday's actions but he wasn't about to start an argument or anything of the sort. The teens reasoning was sound, but if Holliday had left and more raiders had been hiding then the group could have used the help if they'd attacked. Austin kept looking over at the girl every once in a while, out of nervous habit.

Though this plan Tammy was suggesting made Austin shake his head, "No way. I'm not happy about Skylynn either, and I want to get those meds for Jenn as much as the rest of you. But going after a group that has us outnumbered three to one, probably has more firepower, and is holed up in a building? No thanks, the mill is crawling with zeds and we've lost nearly half of our group. Not to mention you've got the kid that just lost his mother to think about, Jenn's still healing, and another pregnant woman who could pop any time."

Austin wanted no part in what he considered stupidity and crossed his arms over his chest, "I say we cut our losses and skip town. They can't find us if we aren't around to find anymore."

As soon as she unloaded the tent, Tiffany felt a sharp pain in her belly, causing her to drop the materials to set the tent up and grabbing onto a part of the jeep to keep herself standing, shuffling a bit and holding onto her belly. There was a pained facial expression on her face as she took a few deep breaths before leaning back against the jeep and she started caressing her belly as she began shedding a few tears. Hopefully the baby wasn't coming. Her water not breaking was a good sign, but the stress she was currently dealing with was a little more then she would like. "Ow...." She sighed.

@KathleneWilliams2121 @Jennifer Shotain

Miyuki nods her head and takes Josh out of her arms and put her into her own. "I don't know......don't worry, she will turn up and I agree but let's at least get one or two up, just to get a little comfortable. Also look around for firewood, I would like to get a fire started and some fire fuel before it gets too dark." She says as she walks over to Tiffany who seems to be in pain, "Tiffany? What's wrong?" She asks as she started to get worried for the future mother, "Are you about to?" She asks as she hoped it wasn't now when they were out in the open.

Tori had sat in the car for several moments trying to decide right now what her best course of action might be, Eventually she figured she would get out on foot for a little while and have a nosy around to see if she could determine any general direction the others had gone in. She grabbed her bag from the seat beside her and slung it over her shoulder while her other hand grasped onto the shotgun tightly. "Right then" she stated to herself simply and opened the car door hopping out. A quick look around gave her the chance to grab some old branches that had fallen from overgrown trees and used it to sorta hide the car..it was hardly the camouflage of the century but hey if it looked like it had been there a while maybe no one would try steal it? eh she didn't know but still. Tori hitched both straps of her bag over both shoulders to make it easier to carry and started to walk, Where she as walking? well she wasn't sure but she would give herself about 20 minutes to scout out the area and see if she could find anything. She kept her eyes well peeled of her surroundings and her ears too, she couldn't be that far from the others she wasn't to long behind them when they left she had just taken some sort of wrong turn.

Tori had been walking for about ten minutes without seeing anything of much interest, there had been a few buildings but the seemed to empty so she hadn't even bothered to try and go inside. Tori pulled her hair out of it's ponytail and ran her fingers through it with a sigh, the knot of worry was tightening in her stomach. She really hadn't realized how she had gotten so used to the company of the others in such a short time but being out here alone was really making it hit home..being by herself out here and barely armed was hardly ideal.

"I hope so. We haven't seen her since the incident at the mill. I mean, what the hell could we even do now to find her," she said and paused, sighing. "There isn't anything we could do without revealing our position. And yeah, I'll get some wood for a fire. I have a magnesium fire starter kit on me. So starting it shouldn't be too hard. We should be fine with that. But I'll go and look around for some wood," she replied to Miyuki.

Grabbing her rifle and backpack, Jennifer started to walk around, looking around the small wooded area for and twigs or such she could use for the fire. Even if she couldn't get anything big for the fire, the least she could do is find a whole bunch of small twigs. They could burn and provide warmth for them while they search for more.

The wooded area was covered with leaves and twigs, with some bigger pieces of wood here and there, which she grabbedamd placed in her backpack. Wind blew lightly through the woods, creating an eerie feeling and atmosphere. When the wind died down, Jennifer heard leaves rustling. She immediately shouldered her firearm, and looked around. She scanned the area for potential threats. She could hear the faint moans of what sounded like a walker in the distance. But, she was unable to locate it.

She had a decision to make. Does she find it kill it there, or does she warn the others that there is at least one of them walking around in the woods nearby, and to keep a watchful eye out? Thinking about it, Jennifer chose to do a combination of the two. She would search for it for a bit, and if she found it, kill it. If not, then she would go back and warn the others.

Walking in the direction of the sound, the moans became louder. And there sounded like more than just one pair of legs walking around. Maybe several? Looking around, Jennifer finally located them. Three. But one of them was different than the rest. She never saw one like this. there was one, a little girl, maybe no older than five or six, when she was bitten. A knife went through the heart of Jennifer. She never saw such a young child become one, or discover one as one. At this moment, her head started to think of Josh and Tiff's upcoming baby. The walkers took note of her, and started at her. With two shots, the two older ones fell. But on the last one, the little girl, Jennifer hesitated. It ran at her, and Jennifer shot her. But her rounds didn't hit the head. The walker staggered back and lost its footing. A tear ran through Jennifer's eye. It got back up and charged at her again. She again shot her to the point it stumbled and fell. It tried to get back up, and Jennifer shot it in the legs, hoping it couldn't get up. The bullets impacted the legs, and walker continued to moan. It tried to get up, but the 7.62x51 NATO did its job on the walker and made it hard for it to use its legs. The walker looked at Jennifer, reaching its hand out, trying to get her. She just stood there and looked at it.

Jennifer knew it wasn't a person anymore she knew it wasn't that little girl. She knew it was one of them, a walker. Dead, decaying, and not a human. But the fact that it was a young girl at the time of its death made this hard for Jennifer. This could be any child who grows up in this world. This could be Josh or Tiff's child one day. Would she ever want to bring a child into this world and have them be at risk to become one of these? Would it be fair to ever do that to a child? The questions ringed in her head as she looked at it.

Raising her rifle, staring at it with a blank, yet saddened expression, Jennifer pulled the trigger. The walker fell dead.

"Fuck this world," she whispered to herself sighing.

Turning around, Jennifer walked back with the firewood. Making it to the camp, she stayed quiet.

"Here's the wood. Be careful. I just killed three walkers in the woods. There could be more out there," she said to Miyuki as she went towards the Jeep and hoped inside to think for a minute, and take her medication.

"Fuck this cruel world. Fuck it," she said as she took her pills.

@Shimakage Thunder

Leaning against the Jeep, Tiffany just let out a deep breath as she caressed her belly. "I'm fine. Just a few Braxton Hicks..." She said wiping her eyes because she was on the verge of tears due to the pain. "I need to sit down for a bit. I'll look after Josh. Can you set up the tent for us? When you're done, I'll set up the sleeping bags and when Jennifer gets back with the Campfire and we can start roasting marshmallows or whatever." She tried to keep herself in a good mood, assuming that the negative energy will only bring her closer to labor and if she could carry the baby to term, that'd be great, since they no longer had the means of caring for a premature baby anymore. Or at least it'd be harder.

@KathleneWilliams2121 @Jennifer Shotain

Miyuki nods as she hands Tiffany Josh, "Just take it easy." she says as she looks over at Jennifer, "Come on, let's just set up the tents, and thank you for the warning." she says as she walks over to the tents and started to set one up. She had her bow and arrows next to her incase of something or someone comes up to them, hopefully dinner. She knew something was upsetting, it was obvious. She looks over at her as she starts to set up the frame. "What happened?" she asks as she looks over at Jen.

@Shimakage Thunder

Miyuki questioned Jennifer on what was upsetting her. Jennifer didn't really want to say, as she needed a bit to think. But, maybe talking would make her feel better.

"Wandering these ruins of civilization where the dead walk again and kill, you seem some horror things. You see loved ones die, you see the evil in people, you see the destruction and aftermath of the world we left behind. All this time wandering around, I had not seen one thing, one thing that I was lucky to say I didn't, until now. When I was out gathering wood, I came across those three walkers. One of them was a little girl. She couldn't have been more than five or six at the time she turned. She had a couple areas with bits. Some of her facial skin was missing, some of her arm was. It looked like she got killed in a gruesome and painful way. She was just a kid. I can't imagine what she went through. I couldn't kill her at first. My shots didn't hit her head. Instead, I shot her so she would fall down. Then I shot her legs. After that, I just looked at her. It reminded me of this cruel world we are in. I finally ended her with a round through the head. But seeing a child, so young, so innocent, end up like that isn't easy."

Jennifer looked at her pill bottle and sighed. She didn't want to say anything about Josh or Tiff's babies. She didn't want to say how she didn't want to see them end up like that. And it made her think of her brother. While he died before things went to hell, Jennifer was somewhat happy he did, and that he didn't have to endure this pain. She felt terrible thinking this way, but he would never have to be in this world. His death wasn't painless, but at least he didn't endure this.

Thinking about that made Jennifer sick, upon thinking it over. How could she be happy he died and didn't have to go through this? Pushing the thoughts out of her head, she looked back at Miyuki.

"It's a cruel fucking world we live in," she said, getting up and out of the Jeep, walking past Miyuki, and unloading the wood to start a fire.

@Shimakage Thunder

Tammy shook her head in disapproval. She debated her options in her head. Ok so one hand they skip town and hope to find the jenn girls meds. Tammy doesn't have any attachment to whether she lives or dies but does want to help these people. To prove she was in it for the long run. She knew deep down there was no chance of survival by herself. This was a group effort and playing selfish wouldn't help her nor would it help to steal and run from these people. She was already on thin ice. Barely knowing them all but she felt as if they were all so close and knew each other forever.

Tammy then debated the other hand. They had 8 people to fight with austin, jenn, and longshot all had expierience and longshot was especially skilled. But against 20 people. This would not be an easy battle and they would probably end up having to use stealth to take them out. Maybe we could bomb the building. But the noise would cause alot of corpsers to the scene.

"I think I have an idea you guys but more importantly we have to get back to the others to talk about it." Tammy displayed an actual positive characteristic about her for once. She then thought of another option. But that would be discussed later. "This is gonna be for jenn and skylyn"

@Mercer @Dibbydoo

Nikole watched as her dog enjoyed Tammuz presence, licking her hands happily and jumping about, no barking or anything. She was in deep thought. These people needed medicine. Nikole, only being a teenager, was still a great doctor. She had been studying since she was in high school, and hadn't stopped since. So she probably knew the case. Another thing with Nikole is that she was extremely sly and shifty, so she washable to get into more places more silently and such. It was good, because Nikole knew where everything was in the hospitals. She headstones from them multiple times. She knew her way around the under ground tunnels. They were made for doctors to get around quicker if a patient was in trouble, instead of going through the crowded tunnels. Nikole decided, and broke her silence.

" Uhm.. Hey.. I know my way around the place really good.. And.. I could help.. Along its my dog, here. There are hidden tunnels under the hospital doctors used.. I could get to the room un noticed.. But with help.. " she smiled lightly, a small blush appearing on her pale cheeks. Her voice was soft and quiet, it having a slight crackling effect.

Holliday twisted his head tightly to the side, feeling his neck crack, and then repeated in the other direction. It had been a long day and every part of him was growing stiff. He desperately wanted some R&R. He thought about Austin's comment and how ironic it was. At first he had never intended to spend more than an hour or two scavenging the area before hitting the road and heading north, but here he was days later. As much as he did want to leave, he knew it wasn't possible. Traveling with the group would limit options he would have had traveling solo, meaning they'd need to draw out a detailed game plan to suit everyone's before they went anywhere. Then there was Jennifer. The hospital was the only place he could think of that would have the meds she needed. If they left there was no guarantee they would find more for her in time. Hell, the chances were against it.

He drew in a long breath and made a deep sigh. "We can't leave town, not on the spur of the moment like that. Lets face it, this is the only way to get Jenn's meds. 8 people against 20 may not seem like good odds at first, we'd each have to deal with 2.5 people if you do the math. The thing is, I eliminated over twice that just a few hours ago. It's more than doable. Plus at this moment, we have the element of surprise. They just cleared the hospital, so I know for a fact they are low on supplies meaning we'll be dealing with pretty basic weaponry. We have the perfect opportunity in front of us. Can we really just pass it by?"

Holliday had scoped out the hospital from a distance when he first came to the city. He'd wanted to see if it would have been possible to loot, the answer had been no. Still, he'd gotten a pretty good look at the compound. "It would be pretty easy really, I already have a few notions for a plan of attack like Tammy does. Stealth is a good try but has it's flaws. A full assault would also be dangerous, but if we were to hold a standoff on their front door while a couple people went in through the back, we'd have them in a pretty bad position."

Holliday shrugged and then started walking back towards his truck. "Thats my two cents on the matter at least. We should talk more once we regroup with the others. Then we can sleep on it and make the final call in the morning. Ya'll probably have a better idea of where to go than I do, so Ill just follow you guys out." Holliday seated himself and slipped his key into the ignition. He then twisted it and the engine roared to life. The slowly slid his seatbelt out and wrapped it across his chest, sticking the end in the lock. One must never forget Zombieland rule #4. His finger then slid across few buttons, eventually pressing one resulting in some old cowboy blues to play softly. Finally he flipped the AC on low and enjoyed the cool air as it brushed against his face. He was now ready to leave and finally, hopefully, get a chance to rest.

Austin sighed internally, Another kid, it had to be another kid. Flashing her a quick attempt at a smile before he started to walk back towards the car he and Tammy came in, trying his best to keep his stiff legged limp from showing. This plan? It was stupid, and it was risky no matter what they did. Holliday looked at the rest of them as people who could use a gun, but Austin saw people who wanted to survive. They weren't soldiers, and Holliday was making the same mistake that David had been.

Slipping into the drivers seat he sat patiently to see if the other two were riding with Holliday or not. Grumbling slightly as he thumbed the steering wheel and wishing he'd tried to rid his seat of the glass rather than sit back into it.

Tammy sat in the drivers seat as Austin and the dodge cummins started moving toward the river. they all said they would meet back at the river but they did not know where specifically. Maybe it was just because Tammy was not paying attention to the rendezvous plan. Either way she sat up in her seat and looked out into the night. she scanned for corpsers and falted to notice any at least in the shadows, Austin eyed the road in pursuit for the river location.

Tammy did not drive often she usually walked she always wanted a nice car but obviously the world left her with new plans. Survive, kill, thrive. Those were the only things she knew at this point and she felt so weak at times. she remembered when she would push herself in a workout or in an essay to pass and she recalled all the mental battles she faced. she remembered being out of shape the pain it brought her and the determination she used back then to create what looks she had today. Tammy adjusted her nose piercing she kind of wished she could have others but obviously theres no mall she could walts into. Tammy sat back and took deep breath.

All those times in the gym she remembered one thing. never give up because the reward is just around the corner. She hoped this would be the case as well. At times she felt there had to be stronghold of survivors somewhere, another part of her told her this was just the way the world was. Dead bodies walking around the earth in search of living flesh. What if this was it, the end of humanity, end of the world. What if the government plotted this the whole time and are planning to start over. What if this was just some sick experiment gone wrong. A virus? Why would these bodies reanimate and more importantly why feed on human flesh. maybe they were still humans inside? maybe not. Tammy leaned the seat back to rest her eyes. "wake me up if something happens." She started to take a doze off. something she hadn't done for what felt like a long time.

Tammy woke up from her sleep there were moaning of the dead outside. it has been approximately 2 days after meeting with the liquor store man. she crawled out of the closet not making a sound as she peered through the empty house. She held herself up on the second floor of a small townhome on the outer area of the city. She looked through the whole house only to find 2 soup cans she immediately ate. she still had her MREs the man gave her as she was conserving them since it was a full meal. Tammy pushed a couch on the staircase and littered it with makeshift alarms and cans and bottles that would shatter and clank if any unwanted visitors stopped by. the room she slept in had boarded windows so she could not look outside. Tammy listened silently for any bodies lurking on the first floor. She begun to eat breakfast which composed of granola bars, a tiny bit of her trail mix, and some rice milk. She finished it quickly and then made her way to the first floor. Tammy searched the home quietly one last time and scouted around the building by peeking through the holes in the board of the first floor windows. She was still surrounded. she heard the herd moving in late last night and thought it would pass. over. She couldn't leave. Tammy went back upstairs and started drawing on the wall. SHe debated a plan for hours. not sure what to do entirely. should she run for it? What if she was vaught off guard? These ideas could only lead to the 30 or 40 bodies hearing her and following her until she tired herself out. "NOT A PLAN ILL TAKE." She said aloud. It was almost as if she needed to fly to escaped being surrounded like this... Tammys mind clicked. She started drawing her escape route on the wall from the rough sketh she drew that displayed her current position. she ripped the board off the window and hopped quietly on the second floor. "crowbar has been useful afterall" she smiled. and overlooked the area from above. The nearest house was on the east side of her position and there were at least 40- 50 bodies around her temporary hideout. no outsiders would be stopping by. She then scanned the jump from this roof to the next one. 'might not make it' she thought. She then realized the corpsers, as she called them, were drawn by sound. She then hurried inide and went into the kitchen finding a few old pans and pots. carrying them trying not to make a sound she put them on the roof with her. She plnned this right in her head. She went to the opposite side of the house and begun to through them off onto the street with loud bangs one after the other. The bodies payed no mind to her on the roof rather making their way toward the sounds. after the final pot. she ran down to the back door. and watched as they left an opening. She unlocked the door and made the sprint only one lone body was in her way and with a sprinting speed she cracked thebodies chest to the ground standing on the corpse she then drove the crowbar into its eye socket. Realesing blood onto the back grass. As she made her way out past the crowd. She realized theres more than one way to skin a cat and in this case she knew that there were many ways to draw them away. Thinking outside the box is critical in this world.

Miyuki sighs as she looks up at Jennifer. She saw a several children who were bitten back in the western part of the United States so she knew what Jen went though. "I know this world sucks, but this is reality now. That child, as sad as it is to say, probably never stood a chance. Her parents were either careless, weren't thinking or just ran out of luck." She sits down and looks over at Tiffany with Josh, "We just need to make sure that we keep both Josh and Tiffany's new baby safe." She sighs as she finishes up one of the tents for Tiffany. She sits on a rock and starts to sharpen her arrows as well as start making new ones. "This world sucks now, but I have a feeling it will correct its self, one way or another."

@Shimakage Thunder

The girl pondered what Miyuki had just said. The world will correct itself, one way or another? What could this possibly really mean? Thinking logically, Jennifer went through the scenarios in her head of how the world would correct itself.

"The only way I see this world correcting itself is one of two ways. Either the undead kill each and every last one of the people alive until there isn't a single human left. That, or humans can prevail in the end, and reclaim civilization. Question is, which one happens? Who knows how much of the population is gone now? Who knows if there is order amidst the chaos? There is so much we don't know now about the state of the world right now. But, you are right. We have to keep the world safe for Josh and the new baby that Tiffany will have. I lost my brother when he was young. I don't want to see anymore young deaths anymore. I'll keep them safe."

Jennifer got up and started to try and make a fire. Her magnesium fire starter she had certainly did the trick. It made fires easier to start. Soon, a fire was going.

"Hopefully they can see it when they get back. And at the same time, I hope that it doesn't draw unwanted attention."

@Shimakage Thunder

"I'm sure it won't draw too much attention. If it does, I'm sure we can handle it." Miyuki restocks her arrows as she continues to sharpen arrowheads and tie them onto sticks as tight as possible. "I'm sorry about the death of your brother," Miyuki then says as she looks over to Jen, "that couldn't have been easy." She sighs as she looks up at the sky as it starts to turn into evening. "I hope the others are ok." she says as she looks over at the trees, hoping that the others would be safe and come back. She was starting to regret letting them go off to find Holliday as it was starting to get darker.

@Shimakage Thunder

While the girls were setting up the tents, all Tiffany could do was comfort and cradle Josh while resting inside the Jeep. At the moment though, she would kill to be comfortable. She was starting to feel that being pregnant made her high maintenance, which was not exactly something she wanted in this day and age. As she relaxed, her legs started trembling and she sighed. As soon as the tents were finished, she was going to lay out a sleeping bag and just go ahead and get an early night.

As the night settled in Austin kept his wits about him driving down the road, the decided location had been near the river much to Austin's dismay. The river was long and forced him to drive alongside it to try and spot them while keeping an eye out for the usual things which was why Austin had suggested a specific location in the first place. Especially since Tammy decided to take a nap halfway through. The man glanced at his rear-view mirror briefly to catch sight of Holliday's truck headlights following them.

Sure enough a beacon shown in the distance, a fire. Well, just tell everyone and everything in the area where you are why don't you. It was risky but then they probably needed to, though it was possible it wasn't them either. This day was hell and only hurting Austin's mood as it went on. Now there was a set course into the smoke and light's direction.
