Laika looked to Mira then back at Jay after Mira answered his question, eyeing the mask she was holding, curious to what it was about before responding to Mira's statement "Likewise..." She said before he answered with thinking they were someone else? "who...did you think we were..." She asked looking him over "More importantly though are you okay? What happened back there..." She said softly, her voice filled with concern.

Mira blinked a couple times and looked around. She clutched the mask and took off running without any explanation of why. When she got far enough way she was visibly crying for no reason really. She had mixed emotions about everything that happened these last few days.

"I know what I hear-" she paused, watching him run after Mira, wait, where were they going? She went to follow them, but something in her mind stopped her. Right, she didn't want to get in the way of those two. She was stubborn with everything else but with this? Was there a point? She supposed she was an...obstacle to these two... so she stayed put where she sat in the grass, staring in the direction they both ran off in before slowly packing away the stuff she had taken out from her bag.

Then a group of four men in ski masks came out from behind trees, two with knives, one with a crowbar, and one with brass knuckles on one hand. The one with the knuckles punched Jay in the side, and the one with the crowbar slammed it into Mira's stomach, then Jay's back. He seemed like the leader.
"Fuck! Mira!"
'We've finally got this prick. Remember that time you shot our friend?'
Jay didn't answer, and he knocked him in the arm with the crowbar. The leader motioned to the one with the brass knuckles, and he socked Mira in the gut, knocking the wind out of her. The leader laughed and cupped Mira's chin in his hand.
"Jesus Christ...I'll fucking kill you, you motherfucker!"
'Fiesty...'

That's when she was the men approaching. She was about to question them, offer help like he usually did until they hit Jay. She watched as another man attempted to hit her in the stomach with a crow bar. She managed to block it with her arm. Her arm instantly broke from impact causing her to scream in pain. That's when she found herself defenseless to the man slugging his fist into her gut. She tries to help herself but wasn't able to this time. She just prayed her child was okay. She looked at the man who cupped her chin and trembled some. "W-what do you want from us." She wheezed out in pain. Tears streamed down her face.

Jasmine was taking stroll through the woods whistling to herself. A bite tiger cub walked at her side, often running ahead to chance a mouse, bird, or butterfly. Eventually the small tiger cub approached Laika, sniffing her and showing no signs that she would harm her.

The two men with knives couldn't seem to talk, and were the same size and the same, well, everything. They also ripped off Jay's. After, the twins held knives to each of their throats. The leader smirked and rubbed his hands together.
'Now, to determine who is let go, you have to sacrif-'
"Kill me. Do it. Don't hurt her, she didn't do anything, and she's not my girlfr-"
The leader backhanded him and leaned down.
'Wrong. Answer. Let me finish. Now, girly, who gets to leave alive?'
"Mira. Go."
The leader chuckled.
'Doesn't sound like you're just friends. Now choose or you both die.'
