Realistic or Modern Zombie Apocalypse! (Always accepting!)

(I did not expect to leave after Keon's death its like fast and furious everyone goes their separate ways until a big enemy forces everyone back together)

They heard shuffling, and moans, as the back of the hoard began to turn around, attracted to his laughter. His face tensed up instantly, and he pointed to the design, "Let's test that theory!" He yelled, as he retracted his hand, and got in the driver's side door. He revved the engine, and waited for her to get in.

She laughed with him and smiled. "Glad you like it!" She said. Her head shot in the direction of the hoard. Her eyes widened and she quickly ran to the back. She threw her bag in back and closed the doors. She quickly got into the front passenger seat and buckled. "Lets go!" She says looking back at the hoard that slowly started to get closer to the van.

Avery took off, towards the hoard, with a wild smirk. He slammed into the side of the highway, against the cement barrier, and began to slightly ride the barrier, causing the infected to bounce off of the windshield effortlessly. Avery made it to the same exit they took before with good time, and began to drive back to the hotel, another 100 miles away. The van sped up to an average speed of 90 MPH, so it would be another hour and ten minutes before they arrived. Avery looked over at Mira, with a smirk. @Mira1
 
She smiled and laughed a little when they started to mow down the zombies. She watched as they flew out of the way, over the concrete wall, or under the van. Seeing the death of all those zombies made her feel better. She looked over at Avery and smiled. She wanted to hang her arm out the window but she wasn't taking any chances of her hand clipping the jaw of a zombie, or being scratched. She leaned her head on the window and waved at the zombies. "See you in hell!" She said and leaned back in the seat of the car. "The zombie blood will add a nice accent to the paint I put on the front." She sais thinking of how badass the car probably looked at that moment. @Boe

Avery laughed a bit, "Yeah... I'd bet." He said, with a smirk. He focused on driving the rest of the way there, occasionally stopping for loot, and such, which he can only assumed annoyed Mira. Avery pulled off the highway for the 7th time in the last hour, but this time it wasn't for loot, it was because they'd arrived. Avery smiled, and pulled up to the entrance, quickly turning the van around so it was facing away from the doors. He got out, and smiled, grabbing his gear, and heading inside. He moved the barricades on the door so they could get through, and moved them back behind Mira. He made it so it was easy to move the barricades from the inside, but hard from the outside. Avery walked up the stairs to the 7th floor, the top floor (Aside from the roof), where their self claimed hotel room was. Avery walked in, and lit all the candles once again. He closed the door behind Mira, and locked it, and, just to be sure, he walked over to the balcony, and used his axe to 'Remove' the fire escape from that level, making it so anyone who tried to climb it would cause the whole thing to fall. Avery stood on the balcony, and looked out into the ruined world, with a sigh. @Mira1
 
Sighing, she put down her gun and jumped on the horse, taking off and riding all the way to town on her own, taking paths they couldn't follow in the car.
 
Mira smiled at the first pull off, watching as Avery ran in to gather some loot. She leaned out the window and shot at any Zombies that tried to get to him or her. When they stopped at the second one she did the same. And the third one as well. By the fourth one she got lazy and shot few zombies letting him handle the rest. When the fifth came around she was asleep and let him handle the zombies himself. And the sixth one she did the same. She woke up as he pulled into the seventh stop. She rolled her eyes and pulled out his gun, then she saw the hotel. She smiled and started to unload her bag as Avery un-barricaded the door. She walked in with him carrying the stuff she had brought. She followed him up to the room and smiled when she finally got to lay down on the bed once again. She looked up seeing Avery standing outside on the balcony and smiled. She stood and walked out with him. Wrapping her arm around him, she leaned her head on his shoulder and looked out into the demolished world with him. @Boe
