R'gan walked around the newly built Mnt.Justice. Today was the day all the new recruits were coming in just like her. She still remembered the journey from Mars a couple days ago, Miss.M had been kind enough to take some time to show her some of Earth and help choose her human identity. Right now, she was reading a human novel in the main room, that she had picked out of the library that morning. It was very interesting, a good read while she waited to meet her new teammates.

Siphon felt weird as he stepped out of the Zeta tube, like a feeling in the pit of his stomach. The air his face felt weird too, light and no currents. There was no weight pressing down on him either. The surface sure was weird, but in a good way. A different way, just like Kaldur'ahm and King Orin had warned him it would be. He couldn't wait to see the sun up close. They'd described it as amazing. He couldn't wait. The Cave was amazing as it was too. Large, spacious, and pretty minimalist. It was almost impossible to find a minimalist house in Atlantis, and Siphon found himself liking the look. He wandered further into the room, taking it all in. Kaldur mentioned teammates as well, but Siphon couldn't see any where he was, and he had no idea where to look.


"¿Hola? 여보세요? Hallo?" He called out, hearing his voice echo around the room. It was a little surreal to him.

[Arya Barnes]

Alola ran from the dance studio all the way to the Zeta tube entrance. She was going to be late for meeting the other members! They were arriving today!!! She made a terrible noise as she almost missed the turn that led to the Zeta entrance. In a matter of seconds, she wasn't in Boston, she was in Mount Justice. The Zeta tube always made her insides feel tingly and that added to her giddy feeling. Rushing forward once more as she went to put her things in her room, she nearly collided with what had to be one of her new teammates. He was Atlantean and had water-ish powers like her, but she couldn't remember his name.


Taking a breath and adjusting her hair, she smiled and said, "Hi! I'm Alola!"

"Ah, English," Siphon muttered, turning around to face her, smiling. "Hello! I am Siphon, from Atlantis," He told her, holding out a hand for a handshake.


He felt his heart speed up, afraid that she'll treat him like the purists back in Poseidonis. He'd been told that his teammates would be more accepting, but he couldn't help but be nervous since he didn't exactly blend in well. It had become a habit when meeting new people since he never knew how they'd react back in Atlantis. After the prince had been exposed as Ocean Master, a purist and super villain wanting to kill the king, everyone became a little more nervous when it came to meeting new people. He tried to ignore his worries and just politely say hello.

"Hi Siphon! I've always wanted to visit Atlantis! Is it as beautiful as they say?" Alola couldn't stop the questions pouring out of her. She was so excited to have another person that could manipulate water. Maybe he could teach her some techniques.

 

[Little gasmask]

Benjamin packed his bow and arrows as he left for the meeting with other members. He has worried he might not be accept as he has talent not super powers. Upon arriving he saw 2 new members of the team (Siphon and Alola.) Hey I'm new here he said as a a arrow dropped from his bag.

"Atlantis is very nice," He told her. She seemed as excited as him, which was also nice. He was glad that he wasn't just some overexcited fish out of water and that this was a big deal to everyone. He was about to continue with more details when he heard the Zeta tube activate again and he saw Benjamin appear. He waved as Ben said 'hi', trying to stop himself from getting too excited. He was eager to meet another teammate. He'd been told that there were five of them at the moment, though that number could grow in the future. There were three of them there right now, so he had two to meet. If he continued to get more excited each time he met one, he'd never be able to calm down.


"Hello, I am Siphon, or Leviathan," He introduced himself, not sure if he should help Ben with his arrows.

"This is stupid." Violet grumbled as she adjusted her military duffle bag containing all her worldly possessions.


She had told that to the Bat, and he...well, he hadn't said anything. He just glared, which was response enough. Violet was stuck with another team. Not like the last one did her any good. But he said to join up and he called the shots. For now.


From a dirty alley in Gotham, Violet used one of the hidden Zeta Pads to teleport her to Mount Justice. There, she found three of her new "teammates" chatting. Without a word, she bypassed Alola, Benjamin, and Siphon, marching straight for her new quarters where she deposited her bag.


A ping from her wrist told Violet that she had mail. Activing her holographic computer, she found her mail was the medical scans she had asked for. She swiped them into an app of her own design, which would analyze them for the variables she needed. Then, she could finally eliminate a major threat.


With her computer working on its analysis, Violet shut off the display and headed back to the main room. She had to play meet and greet now.

 

[Little gasmask]

"Hey I'm Benjamin, a.k.a headshot man" Ben responded to Siphon as Violet passed to them. Just as Benjamin. Wanted to say hello she turned of her device and turned towards the group.

Siphon waved at the new girl, a little disappointed when she didn't stop to talk. He knew that not everyone would be open and friendly, but he'd hoped that they would at least stop to talk. He smiled at Ben. That meant that Alola was either Daybreaker, Aquarius, or Japeo. As far as Siphon knew, she could be any of them.


"This is Alola." He gestured to her, hoping she wouldn't mind him telling Ben her name. He knew that secret identities should be secret, but he wanted to be close with the team, and he knew it would be hard if they didn't even know his name. He looked around as he heard footsteps and realised that the girl was coming back.

Regan looked up from her book realising that the Zeta tubes were whirring. She dropped the book and flew into the hall where, sure enough, her other teammates were gathered. She set herself down on the ground and tried to walk, but ended up skipping, towards them.


"Hi there, I'm Japeo, but you can call me R'gan or Regan. It's nice to meet you all." she said calmly, waving at her new teammates. She could see that everyone was excited and that just made her more and more happy. She noticed that a girl was walking over to them from the opposite side of the room from the Zeta tubes which confused her a bit, but she turned around and waved anyway, soon Aqualad and Nightwing would arrive and tell them what they would be doing for the week.

Alola smiled at Ben when Siphon introduced them. She wasn't worried about anyone knowing her secret identity. They would've found out anyway. They were joined by another person, R'gan. She seemed really nice so she said, "I'm Alola. Or Aquarius."

"Hi," R'gan said, she started to jump a bit she was getting so excited.

Alola could tell that R'gan was excited as she felt. She couldn't wait to be told their assignment for this week. Plus seeing Nightwing was a huge plus.

"Siphon," He told R'gan, holding out a hand for a handshake. "Leviathan." He clarified. He went over them in his head. Ben, Headshot Man; Alola, Aquarius; R'gan, Japeo; and him, Leviathan. He looked to the girl who hadn't spoken yet, the one who'd brushed past them all. He smiled at her.


"You are Daybreaker?" He asked her, knowing that his English wasn't quite right, but he was too excited to care at the moment. He was meeting his team, hopefully soon to be his friends, and Kaldur and Nightwing would be coming soon. He'd heard a lot about Nightwing from Kaldur.

Meanwhile, in the streets of Gotham, someone or something was ambushing the gangs in extremely ruthless attacks. Drug Shipments are disrupted and destroyed, Weapons and Ammunition Shipments are stolen left and right. Lastly, Criminals, from Petty Thieves to Carjackers to even battle-hardened Gang Members, gunned down in the streets and left like road kill. However, the new player, or players, were very well armed and had military grade hardware, or something close to it. Police have yet to identify their new adversary, or adversaries. Due to the amount of shell casings found, the lack of stray bullet holes and the amount of bodies, the Police can only assume that there was a Paramilitary Organization was behind the attacks on the criminal world. Oracle and Batman even had trouble trying to identify the attacker, or attackers.


However, after going to the scene of the latest attack, where Mexican Cartel members were left disemboweled and hanging from meathooks, Batman feared the worst. The victims were able to confirm that it was no they...It wasn't even a him. But a her...Its one woman...With Metal Bat-like Armor. However, Red Hood wasn't the one carrying out the terrifying massacres, but who? And why?


With Batman distracted with finding out who was behind all these attacks against criminals, the culprit went to finish another criminal. A woman dressed in a metal exoskeleton suit, modeled after Batman, came walking into the Hospital, where she disarmed and knocked Security Guards before brandishing a Shotgun. Amazingly, none of the Patients or Hospital Workers were hit when the vigilante, Vendetta Knight, started opening fire on her target, who was running down the hall and eventually exited the hospital. Vendetta would quickly rush up to the roof to begin sniping them. It did prove difficult trying to hit a target in a speeding car. Before she could make the kill shot, she would be ambushed by Batman himself, who disarmed her, despite her attempting to shoot him. It wasn't long until it broke out into an all out brawl. Despite being outmatched, Vendetta Knight continued to attack with ferocity and aggression, impressing the Gotham Bat. When knocked to the ground, Vendetta drew a handgun and pointed it at the Bat, catching him off-guard. "Bang." She pulled the trigger, directing her shot at the Cowl. Briefly stunning him, Vendetta Knight then launched a roundhouse kick, knocking him off the roof, causing him to land on a car below. With the Bat dealt with, Vendetta Knight went to retrieve her weapons and make her escape...

"That's me." Violet answered Siphon. "It's a bit of a mouthful, so Violet will do off mission."


She eyed each of the team member for a moment, her sensors making note of their powers. One seemed to be a normal human, his musculature indicated extensive archery practice. Old fashioned, but the success of heroes like Green Arrow showed some merit for the practice.

Benjamin shakes hands with R'gan and noticed that violet has started scanning everyone. He didn't have a care in the world as now jet lag caught up and so did the need to spent a penny.

Alola noticed that Violet was looking at everyone closely, as if committing them to her memory. She hoped that Violet would like her. She wanted everyone to like her. Moving to stand next to her, Alola said, "Hi, Violet! I'm not sure if you heard, but I'm Alola! I think that you're really cool!"

 

[Little gasmask]

Benjamin sees the interaction between Alola and Violet. Now it was a game of try not to be awkward as the only bathroom was inside. In order to get in they must wait for a formal member of the team.

Violet opened her mouth to reply something rude to Alola, but thought better of it. If she had to be part of a team, inclining them to be against her wasn't smart.


"Thanks." She said a little tightly. "Great to meet you too."

 

[SecretRock]

"I am Siphon, or Leviathan, if it is preferred," He introduced himself to Violet. "I am excited to begin knowing you all." He smiled at them all and looked around the cave. He was still a little shocked from how different it was from his home in Poseidonis. And the people were a lot more open. Well, most of the people. "Are you excited to meet the heroes?" He asked, glancing back at the Zeta tubes.

"Oh yes, very." R'gan replied. She stopped her little jumps and took in all her new teammates. This is going to be awesome! She thought to herself.


At that moment Aqualad and Nightwing walked into the room and took in the new heroes. Aqualad was the first to speak.


"Hello there, I am Aqualad, otherwise known as Kaldur'ahm. It is nice to meet you all, young heroes and I wish you well on your missions to come. I will be your official leader and give you your missions, I will also be living here and act as your supervisor. Nightwing will be your support on missions and help you with hand to hand combat training," Nightwing raised his hand in a wave gesture when he was mentioned. "Right now, you don't have any missions as we would like you to spend some time getting to know each other and becoming closer as a team, however, you will still have training sessions with both me, Nightwing and other members of the Young Justice group and the League. Right now though, use this time to settle into Mnt. Justice and relax before training tomorrow."


With that Nightwing gave a little wave and he and Kaldur left the team to do whatever. R'gan stood there, not really knowing what to do as she had already settled in her room. She looked to her teammates for some indication of who was staying here and who was not.

 

[Arya Barnes]

Alola smiled after Kaldur and Nightwing left, forming a plan. She needed to study for class and work on the newest routine she was performing soon. "It was nice to meet you all. I will be in my room, studying. Come find me if you need anything." With that, Alola left and headed to her room and thought, This is going to be interesting.
