Also, I'm curious why each of you picked the starter and spirit you did. Was there a character reason, or you just like them?

In my case I just picked art I liked/thought I could use to come up with attacks

For me it was about my Character, I decided right away given Kaiden's character that dark entities would likely be attracted to him. Masked Knight I choose because I thought that a darker warrior type being would be ideal with an aggressive playstyle because it matches his personality to an extent, since it's effect is to deal damage to lp which only gets higher and more dangerous as it evolves in level. I chose Diabolos because I feel that a relatively powerful dark being like that just might decide that Kaiden would be a good candidate, as it almost feeds off his energy and insecurity in a sense. Not to say that it wouldn't help him legit, but I think that Diabolos would want to be with so meone who wants power, and has said qualities. I also thought that the choices might bring some contrast.

Neo Alice Ah that's cool! I quite ended up liking Silent Swordsman myself (Full field spell cancellation at level 7 lol) due to It being one of Yugi's signatures and duel links, Magician is quite nice too though.

Currently they're just stronger capsules. Didn't have much thought for different summon types

Equip Cards and Other Equipment is used by Capsule Fighters to fight alongside their summons, and is considered less powerful than Duel Armor, but also less tiring to use. This bit from the interest check stuff in the first post made it sound like the humans were the ones to use the equipment

My suggestions for Fusion monsters would be that you'd need to capture the monsters needed to make the fusion and then fuse them through some kind of presumably magic means (Like a polymerization spell ) to create the fusion capsule monster you want.

Then for Ritual monsters you'd need to obtain a scroll or (Whatever ritual spell) something of the like detailing the criteria of the ritual, summon it using that criteria and then have a chance to battle and hopefully capture it after (The ritual would be more elaborate and harder the higher the level and more powerful the ritual monster is), Anyone have any thoughts?

OH yeah also not to say that you wouldn't be able to find fused monsters in the wild rarely either I imagine, they'd just be hard to capture most likely depending on power.

Most of the Yu-Gi-Oh monsters i really like are the really old ones, and then definitely the old rock types. Most of the new cards are so meh and lack personality

I have prepicked a bunch of cards just in card we ever got the option to choose and silver fang is one the monsters I might consider putting in my party. Though if you end up claiming it no biggie, I've got other options and I know we might not get the change to choose but whatever I enjoyed picking them out. Even have some complete evo line for alternates for iconic monsters

Works for me but what prevents duelists from switching party members midcombat? Also is there sacrifice summoning for higher level capsules or could you just start battle with for example Soldier Gaia The Fierce Knight?

Probably it needs some sort of concentration you can't do in combat. And I didn't really think of using sacrifices

Maybe to battle you must shake hands with the opponent first and that locks the hammer space until the battle is over?

4 is a little small but i can manage.
