Fantasy World of Ruin

Vampiricdoll

Six Thousand Club
The world we once knew as peaceful, green, and thousands of people inhabited it, is now gone. There is hardly any trees or grass, just plains of dirt or sand, and the seas are dried, many people died, and only few still exist. Now it's full of battles, struggling to survive the dyeing earth.

Rules:

- Keep cursing to a minimum

- Be realistic with pain and emotions

- Killing off characters is fine, but be sure to PM the creator

- Romance is allowed, but don't go too far. (I'll only go as far as marriage, anything after that cannot be in the RP)

(If know one is gonna make the first post I will.)

Kato stumbled down a destroyed rode trying to stay ahead of the spirit chasing him. He was panicking as the thing got closer. "Someone help!!" He yelled but he knew no one was there.

"I'm screwd I'm so screwd." Kato tripped.

Gin was walking down a road that had obviously seen better days. It was cracked and falling apart. He took his steps carefully, so that he would not damage his clothes, He wore black slacks, a white shirt, a black tie, and contrary to his fancier apparel a pair of very worn sneakers

He smirked to himself, he was the cause of a fair amount of deaths these days. He probably killed a tailor or two.

Down the road he saw a boy who had just fallen. "He looks around my ag-"

Before Gin could finish his sentence, the boy was yelling "Someone help" and he was obviously un-aware of Gin's prescense.

Gin decided to keep his stride towards the boy. Maybe a robber had come to strike him down, and if that was the case Gin would rob the robber and keep down his path.

Gin was now laughing aloud, the thoughts of free spoils was too much to keep inside.

Ellie traveled along the dirt road, that has prints of car tracks pushing into it. Her hands were in her pockets, and her hood covered her eyes, from anyone who was around, which no one was. Her pet, Fen, was following her. Ellie whistled to Fen, telling him it was time to stop and rest. She found some scrap metal and made a small shelter. They both sat in it and she pulled out an old worn out journal. She also took out a pen with just a little bit of ink left. She started writing.

"Day 260, it's been so long since I saw anything living, other than Fen. I believe That there are hardly any plants left. It's getting hard to breathe, and I get dizzy so much now, the heat is getting to me. The temp. is getting out of hand. Some places is boiling hot, and others are freezing cold. I don't know what's going on with the world, and I'm so done with it. I pray that someday, when I'm still alive, I'll see a green plant again... A living, growing, healthy green plant, and produces oxygen. But now I'm starting to doubt it will happen."

Ellie closed her book and coughed as a car drove by. "People..." She said surprised, but content. She patted Fen's head telling him to wait there, until her signal. She crawled out of the shelter hiding behind any scrap metal around, making sure the men don't hear her. She pulls out her pocket knife, and peeks slightly from behind the metal.

So tired, so tired...

Milo's feet dragged as she made her way back into the cave, tossing her bow and arrows aside in exhaustion after coming home empty handed after a search for food. Giving a grumble beneath her breath, she laid down against the cool ground with her arm tucked under her head. Her eyelids snapped closed only for a moment before she heard it.

Her head smacked on the top of the cave at the scream, hissing in pain whilst gathering her weapons and hustling towards its source. In a hasty motion, she slung her bow over her shoulder along with her quiver.

She soon found herself standing on a road. Eyes scanning the area, she'd almost concluded it was deserted until she saw a figure in the distance fall to the ground. She fell into an immediate crouch, brows furrowed, and she withdrew behind a nearby rock. She waited a moment. Then, peering out from the stone, she faced a swift moment of indecision. Sprinting out from behind the rock, she began to run her way over to the person in trouble, slowing when she saw no one had been harming him. Is he crazy? Halting, a brow raised. "Uh... sir?" said Milo, "What's wrong? Are you alright?"

The commotion between the boy and his pursuer suddenly became a dull idea to Gin. He turned around ninety degrees to face a small dirt road that had the prints of car tracks pushing into it. Gin had keen eyesight and noticed metal gleaming from the sunshine. His eyes open wide, "Perhaps a new weapon" He smirks shortly before wiping the smirk off of his face. "Calm down, Gin" He says to himself aloud.

He makes his way towards the shining medal, but his thoughts acted as adrenaline giving him enough energy to speed walk. His speed walk changed into a jog, and then a run, then a sprint. He took a small, 6 inch dagger from behind his cloak and raced as fast as he could humanly travel. Needless to say he was there momentarily.

Gin had arrived at the heap and started cutting away the rubbish that was connecting the metal to the ground. He was cutting swiftly until he heard a rustle. He stood up, and saw himself face to face with a girl (@Queen of Fantasy ) right behind the pile of scraps. He dare not move. "Hello, are you guarding this for someone. I'd hate to have to hurt you, kid." He smirked. The words rolled of his tongue and his voice was even and cool. This is always how he talked and acted when he was deciding whether or not the person he encounters is worthy to live or not.

Kato drew his way out of this ghost problem as usual. (Damn i broke my ankle) He thought to himself. He drew himself a bandage and crutch and begian to walk down the rode. After a while he found car tracks pressed into the dirt rode and begian to follow them.

Ellie stayed quiet and eyed him with a glare of anger. Then she lifted her hand to put a finger up to her mouth, to sign him to be quiet. She then shook her head, saying that this was not for her. "And for your information, I'm 19. Not a kid anymore." She said whispering and still crouching to keep from eye sight. She then takes a deep breathe with her favorite knife from the pocket knife, and jumps from the scrap metal charging at the three men. They turned around with all of them surprised, as if they just saw a ghost. Ellie kicked one of the men in the face, and he stumbled onto the ground, hitting his head on the metal of the car. She glares at the other two, who looked to they're friend then at her, rolling they're sleeves up, and walking closer. She smirks and dashes on top of the car and pounces on one of the men's shoulders, stabbing him the shoulder. He yelled and fell to the ground. She stood off of him with her hood still down. She slowly lifts her head to glare at the last man there. His scared eyes quaked with fear, then he ran off.

She walked over to the car and saw a bunch of loot. She whistled and Fen came dashing through. "Good boy." She said with a small smile. "Here" She says tying a satchel to Fen's back. "You can carry some of the supplies. It'll last us for days." She said, forgetting about the boy that she just saw.

Once Kato was to tired to walk. He drew himself a huge bird and flew it to the end of the tracks. He lands in front of two people and puts his hand up. "I'm looking for supplies and I would be willing to trade." "I have collected my fair share of weapons. If you are interested."

Ellie glared at the man who just walked up the dirt road. "Not interested." She says climbing into the car, and helping Fen into the passenger seat.

(@Marvelous Chester

Gin was surprised to know that the girl (@Marvelous Chester ) "Unless you have a scythe I am not interested."

He buckled his seatbelt, his dagger in hand quietly waiting for a reaction.

"I do if you have food." Kato knew he could draw any weapon into existence if he wanted to. "So is it a deal." Kato tried to take a step forward bell fell to the ground due to his broken ankle.

Milo watched as the man trailed off down the road, mumbling a curse before proceeding to follow after him. The road ended up leading to a car, with 3 others surrounding it. Her lips parted with the release of a quiet breath. Please don't let this be a trap. Scratching the back of the neck, she weighed the options between simply walking away or engaging -- though leaving the scene did seem tempting, the ladder won her favor.

Gripping a part of her bow, she strode forward, watching as the woman and another man climbed their way into the car and the other stood outside.

"...willing to trade. I have collected my fair share of weapons. If you are interested." she could hear the man speak, and a wave of curiosity crashed into her, figuring that if he would be wanting to trade, there must be something of value they obtain. She quickened her pace until she was only about 10 feet from the car, and stopped. One hand instinctively hovered over her dagger, but she kept her stance calm.

She heard the man continue to speak, one word in particular clinging onto her interest. Food. The man (@Marvelous Chester) fell to the ground, assumingly due to an injury, and Milo jogged away the distance between them. She extended her hand to him. "Here."

"Oh thanks. Aghh my leg my f......king leg. So what's youre name." He stands up and waits for a reply. "And is there anything I can do for you."

Gin took out his last morsel of food. He was desperate for a weapon, so very desperate.

He hopped out the car and walked towards the merchant who fell down, a stranger, perhaps a hero was already there to accompany him.

"Listen closely, kid" His words rolled off the tongue as usual. "I have half a pound of bread on me at this very moment."

He only kept eye contact with the merchant, ignoring the other completely

"So let me see the scythe that you have"

"Close you're eyes." Kato waits till the guy dose what he tells him to and then draws him a scythe. It pops out of the book. "OK now open them." Kato was holding a awesome duel sided scythe with a nice grip in the middle. "Now about that food."

Gin opened his eyes wide, the craftsman ship was amazing, and the stainless steel looked to be forged by a master blacksmith. Gin was not surprised by much but the fact that this boy, who couldn't keep his leg from not breaking, have such an amazing weapon without being robbed. Gin grabbed a brown sack that was hanging from his belt loop. He opened it up and broke off a quarter pound of bread and handed it to the merchant. He gave the other half to the stranger that was standing beside him (@Conduit ). Upon further examination he realized it was a female and assumed that she was too weak to hunt for herself

Gin folded up the sack and put it in his pocket. "Now, the scythe, hand it to me"

Kato starving quickly ate the bread. Then he tossed the guy the weapon "also if you wanna keep that wepon maintained. You should keep me around." Kato said this because he knew he wasn't going anywhere fast with a broken leg.

"Tsk"

Until I get a chance to get a one sided, quality scythe that I am looking for. I'll have to keep this guy around for weapon maintenance He thought.

"Alright I've decided, You can travel with me. My name is Gin. What should I call you?"

"You can call me Kato. Nice to meet you Gin. Just whatever you do don't touch me unless you have to." Kato gets into the back of the truck. And lays back. He replies the bandeges to his leg. Then passes out due to how tired he was.

Ellie didn't know what to say, with all these people around. She guessed she didn't have a choice because, these people seemed just as in need as she was.

The night grew darker, and she put wood from the abandoned houses onto the small fire. She had shivers go up her spine as she stared at the fire. Fen walked over to her, and made her pay attention to him, instead of the fire. She sighed laid down her head on top of Fen like a pillow. She wrapped herself with the dark cloak she had on. She stuffed the car keys into her pocket, and didn't fall asleep, but watched Gin keeping watch. She wanted to make sure he didn't do anything funny. After a few hours her eyes felt so heavy, she couldn't keep them open anymore, and she fell asleep instantly.

Kato sat in the wooden shack not saying a word. He just drew in his book items that he could bring to life later. As well as weapons for gin in case the scythe broke. "Well goodnight everybody"'Kato fell on his back and gazed up at the stars. He slept father out from the rest of the group. So if spirits came they would be after him not them. Eventually he drifted into a deep sleep.

Ellie slept until early in the morning, e=and everyone else was asleep. She got up and stretched, which made her feel more awake. She crawled out of the small shelter everyone was in and went to the car, to see if there is any food to have to breakfast. She found eggs that were out of date, so she threw them out. Then she found stale cereal and bread. You could eat both, stale or not. She got the cereal, saving the good stuff for her... "Team mates" She sat in the back of the car, eating the cereal alone. Fen went around sniffing for something to eat. He only likes meat, so we can't feed him the good stuff either.

Gin had stayed awake the entire night, although he was exhausted it didn't show on the outside. He kept silent and watched as the others slowly began to rise, starting with the angry girl he met yesterday. He gripped his scythe in his hand and started walking towards her.

Gin did not mean any harm. As he was walking he asked , "So, what's your name? I'm Gin and it's a pleasure for you to meet me." he Grinned, "Regardless if you choose to speak to me or not, we need to hunt to provide provisions for ourselves and I assume your little pet over there will not eat bread."

Gin pointed at the beast when he finished his last sentence. He did not like wild animals, but this one seemed domestic, so he was fine for now.

"So me, you, and the beast. If we're lucky we can get back before the others wake up."

He extended his hand
